Sometimes you need to get your point across, because if you kept silent nothing will changed that's why sometimes you need to stand up and fight on what you believe in words alone can't sometimes be the solution sometimes there will be a time that you will have to use brute force to correct someone or to make them understand on what your saying.
Am not saying that everything should be solve by using brute force using force is necessary but we can't always just relay on words. Because If you're going to rely on words alone, then they better be incredibly powerful.

Relation of Flowers to Life
Be what weather it may be, it will either be standing up or down.
It relates to life itself, like that is about passions.
Be it like a simple seed that wells up inner seeds when grown.
Flowers that grow with the help of sunshine,
And the same flowers that gains beauty from its light and warmth.
Once more, it relates to a life of a human person.
A human person did not start off independent,
They shone with the help of others before being self-sustaining.

BARANGAYS NAMED AFTER PLANTS
Alasas - A barrio situated mid-southwest of San Fernando’s boundary, this barangay was named after the alásas tree (Ficus ulmifolia Lam.) from the baliti family.
Baliti - This barangay was named from the basic term for all the “strangling” figs of the Ficus family.
Bulaon - This barangay was named after the bulaon tree, which is a type of tree known as lagundi in Guam and molauin in Tagalog.
Calulut - This barangay was named after an erect tree about 8 meters high with oblong leaves, axillary inflorescence, and many seeded fruits known locally as kalulút. The bark of this tree is a favorite material for wood carving.
Lara - This barrio’s name was derived from lára, which is a generic term for local chillis or sili.
Pulung bulu - This barrio’s name was derived from the words pulung, which means “forest of,” and bulu, which is a plant with scientific name  schizostachyum lumampao.
Saguin - This barangay was named after ságin or banana (in English), a fruit abundant in the country. Varieties of which are known to local Kapampangans such as paltikus, saba, latondan, matabia, seniorita etc.

Not like the old times but close enough. Super grateful and thankful for these two esp for my babe. I couldn't imagine what will happen to me that night. They didn't know the security they gave me. Although i still had to drive myself alone with those big trucks on that old road and nlex bulaon exit, that was effin freaky but worth the anxiety. I wish I could hang out more with them.

Pampanga’s giant lanterns bring joy, hope amid pandemic
#PHnews: Pampanga’s giant lanterns bring joy, hope amid pandemic
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Not even the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic can stop the Giant Lantern Festival which this city holds every year to bring joy and hope to Filipinos.
In its 112th year, the world-renowned “Ligligan Parul” took center stage on Wednesday night at Robinson’s Starmills here to keep the Kapampangan’s cultural tradition alive amid the pandemic.
But this time, not as a competition but a virtual exhibition of seven giant lanterns from Barangays Sto. Niño, San Juan, San Nicolas, Sta. Lucia, Bulaon, Telebastagan, and Calulut that was aired live via regional television network CLTV36 and social media site.
The GLF Foundation, Inc. and the City Government of San Fernando decided to skip the actual competition to prevent possible Covid-19 transmission and surge of cases in the city.
Despite some limitations and restrictions due to the pandemic, the annual festival was staged successfully as it enabled to deliver a strong message of hope to the people from all walks of life.
Through livestream, viewers in this province, other places in the country, and even abroad witnessed the grand display of spectacular lights, the interplay of colors and kaleidoscopic patterns of the giant lanterns to the beat of lively Kapampangan songs.
Some of those who watched the festival at the safety and comfort of their homes have expressed their amazement via social media as they saw the craftsmanship and ingenuity of the lantern makers from the seven participating barangays.
“The Giant Lantern Festival is indeed one of the grandest events in Pampanga during this Yuletide season. Although we were not able to watch the annual tradition personally, it somehow brought the warmth and joys of Christmas amid this pandemic,” said Mylene Ilagan, a 51-year-old housewife from Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.
Joseph Dayao of Balanga City, Bataan said the excitement of watching the annual festival is still there even via live stream.
“It was really amazing. No one can dispute that this is the best festival in the region. Sa gitna ng mga challenges na ating kinakaharap, ang Giant Lantern Festival ay nagsisilbing simbolo ng pag-asa (Amid some challenges we are facing, the Giant Lantern Festival serves as a symbol of hope),” Dayao said.
“I am proud to be Kapampangan. The Giant Lantern Festival is part of our tradition that we would not let it die. Although the celebration this year is different, but we are thankful that it was push through,” said Rhea Mendoza of Barangay Dolores here.
Mayor Edwin Santiago said the San Fernando Christmas lanterns are a great source of inspiration and spark hope.
“Amid the pandemic, we are able to show the whole world our pride, the giant lanterns. We celebrate this occasion every year. Each year, we are proudly celebrate the great and talented lantern makers who continue to excel their craft through generations,” Santiago said in his message via livestream.
Although the celebration this year is a little different due to the pandemic, Santiago said “the message that these lanterns bring remain the same. That life is colorful and the hope that this pandemic shall pass stays bright”. (PNA)

Reposted from @pandemicselfportraits Via Bulaon Manila, Philippines • Masked Blonde > Pink > Blonde: My sisterly love in time of Corona Virus (2020) • My candy pink- haired baby sister is a COVID-19 survivor. She has to stopped working, get self-isolated, and endured all the medication & pain of fighting the deadly virus. I felt so frustrated that the only thing I can do is to support her financially and by constant exchange of PMs/DMs to make sure that she is still alive. My lil sister is the only family that I've got. We've lost our parents when she was still in 6th grade that has been a huge blow to her mental health. So while battling COVID, she's doing the same too with mental illness. So I wanted to cheer her up by changing my hair color from blonde to pink and have it back to blonde after the confirmation that she's COVID free and kickin'! a glimpse of the past; visiting sfdo

Tumblr media Tumblr media
I visited an old friend today. One that had been a huge part of my younger days; one that had nurtured me into who I wanted to become today.
Say hello to the City of San Fernando (as in, the heart of CSFP, the market place). This is where I spent most of my elementary and high school days. I remember looking forward to every Jollibee moments with mom every time she has to go to the market to buy tailoring stuff. I remember the first readings, responsorial psalms, and prayers of the faithful every Sundays. I remember the Php2 cheese bread from LA which is now Php6 and idk why. I remember the newly cooked mani and balitog my dad always bought whenever we waited for mom. I remember the first ever movie house, Mirabes, that I entered, which is now a little, you know, a cinema but not a cinema anymore. If you know what I mean. I remember the buko of Kuya Buko just beside the Bulaon terminal where me and my friends hang out before going home. I remember Netopia which was my sanctuary noong panahong Php25 pa ang pagcocomputer sa computer shop. I remember Mcdo, noong mga panahong nagliligawan ang mga kaklase ko at ako, french fries at mcfloat lang ang buhay ko. I remember Orchids, the first ever ‘book sale’ of my life. I remember Mister Donut and 711. Tangina buhay pa rin sila. Buhay pa rin actually almost all stores, except for Video City na favorite ko din noong puntahan kasi banang-bana ako sa panonood ng mga pelikula.
I remember a lot. Good and bad. I remember how this place made me want to leave Pampanga. I remember how it made me want to study in UP. I remember how much it made me hate being surrounded by a lot of people. I remember the panic attacks. I remember the trembling and discomfort. I remember everything.
We’re in good terms now, though. I felt great kanina. There were no more trembling, no more feeling of uneasiness. No more hatred. I guess because it’s a lot cleaner now. And I guess because of the traffic signs. People are a lot more disciplined than before.
I remember everything, and never will I forget. But I can always forgive. After all, he is an old friend. Old friends never disappear.
