Afternoon Discussion: I've been reminded by two people that I know and love that, "Everyone ain't like you" - I get that mentally, but boy do I struggle with that in my soul. When you genuinely love people, it's so hard being on the other side of this (read post attached) because it's exhausting emotionally. It can leave you feeling as if your love is not enough or you find yourself always checking your motives which you full well know are sincere. I am big on people dealing with their issues, trauma, demons or whatever, including myself. However, it seems like I'm either in a season of noticing this or more people are broken that are around me. Either way, that's why I try to stay positive and encourage myself as well as others because I understand the struggle. BUT for you all out there that are finding your way through the dark or dealing with a lot - please ask God to help you RECEIVE real love because there is healing available through it. I can't tell you how much God used people who truly love me to help heal some of my broken pieces.
