You know, it’s times like these when I have nothing else to do that I reflect on my time here at Deep Rock. Some of you are young enough that I’ve lived through your history books. Some of you are old enough that you’ve got great-grandchildren older than me. Bugcrusher or bookcrusher, every Dwarf that’s ever come through here has one thing in common:

We all hate Elves.

Why? They’ve paid us insult in the past, it’s true, but so have we. Is it that they’re, quite literally, leaf lovers and we are lead lovers? Is it their naive moral sanctimony and unwillingness to change that makes them so obstinate in their beliefs that they refuse to see the validity in our way of life? Is it that they drink tea???

Actually, I thought about it some more, and it’s definitely because they’re jealous. When was the last time an Elf added anything to the galaxy? We’re innovators! Industrialists! We turn the wheels of the galactic economy! Dwarven rock and steel adorns cultures from the Thousand-Sun Temples on Sindra to the Mantle Tappers of New Parthon. Elven literature collects dust on bookshelves and they still preach about their righteousness.

Also, they have absolutely DETESTABLE taste in cuisine. What the hell is a berry anyway?

okayokay I followed for jlud and I don't know jack shit about those guys max and chad (like literally Nothing I've never heard of any of their channels lmao) but my GOD that photoset you reblogged? who is max? what does he do? can I have his home address?

that's maxmoefoe <3 he was an integral part of the cancer crew back when it was active and was/is best friends with j0ji/filthy frank, idubbbz (ian), and anything4views (chad). his content was/is primarily based around doing really stupid gross shit, puking all over himself, opening pokemon cards, and hitting his friends with blunt objects and threatening them with weapons. he's fucking nuts and he eats a lot of inedible things and says a lot of slurs and is super autistic and he'd give any psychologist a run for their money. i'd really recommend watching the gentleman's guide, the human cake trilogy, and deadly twister, along with a lot of early max vlogs where he was still a scene kid and more vlogs during his time spent with joj, ian, and chad. cold ones, which max hosts with chad, is also a genuinely fantastic channel and their shit is actually funny even aside from max being a huge whore who loves poisoning himself. check him out!

carterbedloesmith: I haven’t started post production yet but my head is swimming with all things SWALLOWED. 🐛 What an amazing time we had - tromping around the wilds of Maine making this slimy wild queer horror nightmare of a movie. Wasn’t all fun, for sure - but we made it through (with more than a few few bug bites) and are gonna have a crazy fun film to show for it. 🐛 @markpattonnoes2 @thelightingaintright @jenamalone and the one and only Cooper Koch star in the film. I’m so excited to do a deep dive into the world we created. Working with @markpattonnoes2 was like a teenage dream come true. The fact that I found him here on IG and just sent him a DM about the project is crazy. I also met Cooper Koch here on IG years ago - and when we met I told him - “We’re gonna make a film together one day.” He’s not on IG anymore but I LOVE that’s how we first met. This is @thelightingaintright first film! I shot him for @all_the_dead_boys and as I edited the shoot a character named DOM started to come to life.
