Mormo Maura
The Old Lady Moth
This moth has a massive wingspan of up to 65 mm
They have one flying generation a year, from March to August.
They are found in Europe, parts of Africa, and The Middle East.
They actually winter as Larva, which isn’t THAT uncommon, but I thought it was cool.
These moths are endangered.

The Orange Tailed Clearwing.
Can grow up to 22mm in wingspan.
Found only in England.
These moths spend two whole years as larvae/pupae, only to spend a single week as an adult.
They overwinter as larvae.
