Cosima/Delphine wasn’t treated any differently than Sarah/Paul - there was noting going “LOOK HOW PROGRESSIVE WE ARE! WE HAVE GIRLS KISSING GIRLS!”, it was treated like an absolutely unremarkable thing that Cosima was gay, and I really liked that!

Depends on how conservative you think his family is? Its one of those things I feel like is dependent upon context?

His parents belong to this Christian almost-cult here but they have having it at a Methodist church. But frankly I could give a wooden nickel for how they feel (long story there). I don't want to offend his cousins or friends. I am not sure they would care but I can't get a hold of anyone to ask so Google and Tumblr it is.  Thank you though!

Could you go with a pair of tights with the short one? Might be thinner than leggings

I was originally going to do pantyhose but I feel like it might be too short. Like I feel like I need the extra covering of leggings. Does that make sense? Ugh, hate this sort of thing. Thanks for the advice.

I think considering how hot it is, that would be appropriate! I wore a sleeveless dress to a funeral last month. Idk if this helps!! <3

Thanks, that does help! I asked my trivia team tonight and they said that the sleeveless one would be fine for Phoenix. Our team leader just went to a funeral in Phoenix last week and she said there were people with tank tops and capris.

Do you have/could you acquire a shortsleeve cardigan, esp a cropped one? I have 2 crocheted boleros I wear all summer for this exact reason.

That's actually a really good idea. Thank you. I might have to make one myself. I think I can get it done in a week. The shortsleeve boleros I have are gold and pink.

yes! i'm loving the ladies! :D i am pretty hooked on the show now to be honest so yeah. there's no escape for me now. and i'm sure i'll read the books at some point, too.
