I think I genuinely might learn some thai from watching the thai luca dub when i get bored. i already know how to say sea monster and a passive aggressive way to say 'okay' (both with butchered tone pronunciation)

#i did a deep dive semi recently on all the promotional material for ab 2021 #bcus once the budget allows it im probably going to do a full rewatch (as it stands the only ep avail to stream for free atm is the first)#but i was reminded that both faye ward and eve hedderwick turner were producers on tobg #while the latter self-described as a 'fan' of pgreg novels (altho she did say it was more when she was a teenager...)#anyway. interesting parallel #there's sort of one in the tudors #but it's not a cozy moment between h&a that is causing the seymours to bristle in the background #but rather henry screaming in chapuys' face about how he still hasn't recognised anne as queen etc #so...sort of equivalent?#(tobg 2008 mind you. not 2003. but who knows what scenes were removed from script...?#there's a similar one in the novel as well altho it's actually more with john seymour .#who's also very present in the equivalent moment in the tudors. and very much in the 2003 one #)

my mom offered me to yoink my cat from her house which i havent considered an option before due to my apartment being kind of small, which she reassured me was Probably Fine using facts i cannot argue with (mainly him being a lazy fuck), and also I don’t live that far off all things considered + my sister is visiting me like 2 weeks after i’d move him up so there’s like. Solutions if it doesnt work out. And tbh the amount of thought and effort im putting into it already makes me feel like im gonna be a better cat parent than my mom

in the recent light of yet another bad animation adaptation of kid's media nobody asked for... I have to think how a low budget Danish horror movie had multiple child protagonists below 10 years old front and center, and they delivered better than a 15+$ production.

thinking also about Milo Machado-Graners performance which was essential for key scenes in "Anatomie d'unce chute", or how important the kids were in "Shoplifters". It's astonishing how amazingly expensive Hollywood productions are with less and less production results.
