Aaaaahhhh! Thank you for taking an interest in the AU! I've said this before and I'll say it again, this makes me so happy~ ANYWAY, I'll answer your questions~

Suyin's dad is Sokka. Let me tell you about the complicated relationship they had. As I mentioned in a previous ask, Sokka was in a relationship with Suki while Toph was with Kanto. After Toph announced her pregnancy to the gaang, Sokka started feeling a little jealous because everyone else, even the one he least expected, had one. He proposed to Suki and asked her to move to Republic City to start a family, but Suki graciously declined. She loved Sokka but couldn't leave Kyoshi Island and her people. They needed her there. Sokka understood because he couldn't leave Republic City and his duties. They both chose their careers over love. Months went by, and then Toph lost her child and her lover. Sokka knew how painful it was to lose someone, so he offered Toph a shoulder to cry on. Toph acted annoyed and insisted she didn't need anyone, but Sokka's persistence won her over. He took extra care of Toph during that time, helping with the investigation and search for Kanto and the midwife. When Toph lost all hope, Sokka was there for her. Old feelings for her friend reignited, and Sokka began seeing Toph as more than a friend. That's how they had Suyin. However, their marriage didn't last. They argued most of the time, especially about Toph's way of raising Su. When Suyin was just 10 years old, her parents split for good. It wasn't a messy breakup because both of them knew they were better as friends than as a couple. Toph also knew that Sokka loved her, but not as much as he loved Suki. About the GAANG and the next-gen:

Zuko ended up with Mai and led the Fire Nation. They were the first to have a child, making Izumi the first baby the Gaang took care of. Toph and Aang spoiled her rotten with gifts and sweets whenever they visited. Katara and Mai often scolded them for going overboard. Aang and Katara had Bumi, Kya, and Tenzin. Unlike in canon, Aang never neglected Bumi and Kya. They always went on family trips, spending quality time together and passing down their Air Nomad and Water Tribe cultures. Izumi’s nickname is Zumi, but Zuko prefers calling her "my princess." Bumi is often called Bubu or Umi by baby Tenzin and later on by baby Suyin. Kya goes by her name, but Aang calls her "my baby girl." She loved it as a kid, but as she grew older, she wasn't as fond of it. When Su was born, Kya was relieved that her dad retired the nickname and passed it to baby Su. Because the adults were often busy, Suyin spent more time with her cousins. Additionally, she spent a lot of time with her father, Sokka, since Toph was frequently occupied with work.

More on Farmer Lin:

Lin had a wonderful childhood despite growing up without a mother. Her father often affectionately called her "Meilin." She found a second mother figure in Lei, her babysitter (also the midwife who delivered her). Lin cherished Lei deeply and once even asked her to be with her father, but Lei always declined, insisting that Kanto was just a friend.

Lin was a quiet child and not very social. She had a few friends from the neighborhood and school. She was known as the quiet kid you never mess with because one time, she snapped and fought off a bully who was picking on her friend.

As a teen, Lin became popular with the boys because of her looks, but she wasn't interested and found them really annoying. Her father would tease her about being tomboyish and say she was too intimidating. She would tease him back, saying, "Maybe I'll marry a feminine boy, and we'll run away and elope, Dad." This always got Kanto, and he would swear that no man would ever lay a finger on his precious girl and take her away from him.

In her young adult years, Lin inherited her grandpa's farm, including the existing workers whom she chose to keep on. Despite their assurances that they can handle things, Lin insists on personally tending to the plants. She also has a soft spot for the farm animals and owns a shepherd dog named Zhenzhen. He's incredibly loyal and friendly to Lin but also fierce and protective of her.

Toph and Kanto's relationship hit the rocks when:

Toph discovered his ties to a gang, later known as the Triple Threat Triad. They argued fiercely because Toph insisted on getting him and others involved arrested. Kanto begged Toph, promising to reform and leave the gang, but Toph remained firm. She insisted he stay free until after she gave birth, after which he would face justice.

Despite Toph's efforts, Kanto managed to evade her thanks to his connections in Ba Sing Se. With "Kanto" being a common name, especially in the Fire Nation, Toph focused her search on finding a firebender named Kanto within the Fire Nation. Meanwhile, Kanto played the part of a non-bender widowed father, complicating Toph's quest to locate him.

[Name] lived among the people of Liyue, The Harbor of Contracts. Working as a young apprentice under Doctor Baizhu, a skilled herbalist works at Bubu Pharmacy alongside his somber assistant, Qiqi.

One day, they came home from tiring work, endless herbs that needed to be processed, and medications and prescriptions that needed to be tended to the worrisome patients and customers. On the doorstep of their abode, they spotted a polished-looking envelope with a familiar seal that fastened the letter. 

Taking the letter by hand, they went up to their bedroom, where their safe haven was situated. Glancing a questioning gaze upon the envelope. A faint sweetness and powdery aroma were wafting from the said envelope once they opened it. They knew this smell too well to be mistaken; it was the scent of a sakura bloom that was often to be seen at Narukami Island of Inazuma.

They began to unravel it slowly and saw a letter written in elegant calligraphy, and the name of the sender was not something they expected. They immediately opened the envelope and read the contents.

And so, I wanted you to be aware of how proud we are of you and how much we wish to share the news with you in person. Myself and Ayaka, have been looking forward to your arrival at the Kamisato estate for some time now. We’ll even have to cease our work schedules just to show you the beauty of Inazuma, which is in store for you.

Her words sparked interest and curiosity among the youths as they huddled around her, listening to her narrate a few of the stories she’d heard in the past about the famed seven wonders. Suddenly, you were also piqued in interest and decided to sit within the sea of children.

“Hm? You’re saying that this boy was threatening you but then disappeared through thin air?” Heizou’s olive green eyes glistened with skepticism and interest. Suddenly, a string of chuckles was heard from the said boy. He stopped himself when he noticed your glare coming his way.

He cleared his throat, swallowing every bit of his insanity. “No offense, I do love supernatural things just like few people. But, even if we were going to believe such stories as those… It wouldn’t matter. After all, these are only tales told by people in fear.” 

You sighed defeatedly. I guess you’re going back to the estate. However, his hands stop you. His emerald eyes hold firm determination and belief. He then leaned his head towards your ear, his hot breath tickling the side of your face. A faint blush erupted from the side of your cheeks.

“I believe what you were saying, however, in this world, no one is capable of trusting what lies within the depths of the unknown. People are too afraid of what they’ll discover. So it’s best for them to stay put in the safe zone, and you shall do the same.”

“My, aren’t you rather bit close to the line? Does not matter, what matter is~ What does a youngling like you doing at the Grand Narukami Shrine at this hour? Aren’t your family or friends would be worried sick when they found out about your little escapade, hm?” 

The self-proclaimed head priestess, Yae Miko, was circling your seated form with opulent eyes that resembles a fox, or in Inazuma’s dialect, Kitsune. Her salmon-pink hair flittered through the breeze. Her figure is radiating dominance and voluptuousness—a sense that overwhelms you, and you scooted an inch, but your back was met with a block of cold concrete.

Miko grinned as she took slow steps toward you. “Don’t fret, kit. This vixen doesn’t bite, at least, on some occasions.”

Falling from a well wasn’t your ideal trip to the Kamisato Estate. Everything went fast, and you were unaware of an ominous presence lingering about, which then pushed you into your unfortunate situation. Attempting to climb out of the worn well, you fell back again. Slipper walls are stopping you to reach the top, thinking of ways to get out, you heard the voice you’ve heard from Chinju forest.

“Curiosity killed a cat, but the satisfaction brought it back.” 

Casting upward, you saw the boy earlier, who saved you from the horde of electro cicin insects. His frown from earlier was twitching into a sly grin. His indigo eyes glowed under the moonlight. 

“Who knew we met again, with you in an unfortunate position, as usual? First, are the hordes of insects. And now, you fell into a sewer-smelled well. Tell me, do you perhaps attract inauspicious circumstances, if it does? I couldn’t help but laugh at your misery.”

So, I need a little break from writing about Viggo. So, I thought why not go into my OC’s background and write about her and her dragons goes from oldest to young of her dragons. This is her oldest dragon and her first tame as a young child. She named it Bubu since she had no brothers or sisters Bubu was like family to her. She was raised amongst dragon hunters, but she was always fascinated by them. She kept her dragon and secret until she was 14 and her family disowned her. When this happened, she took off with Bubu and kept flying til she found a small island. She set up camp and stay there for many years learning more and more about dragons. She found she had a natural talent for taming and soothing all types of dragons. Bubu was her most loyal dragon and was sadly stuck down in battle when she tried to return home to make peace with her family. When she found him dead, she went on a rampage burning everything to the group with the help of the next dragon she had tamed. (This will be the next post) She loved him and when the fire settled, she made the island her own making a huge statue and memorial for him honoring him as family. She would continue this will all dragons she tamed. Even tho she loved dragons this didn’t make much of a profit, so she decided to go to the northern markets in search of work where she met Trader Johann. He had originally hired her to help with moved crated and boxes but we they encountered a Changeiwng and she was able to sooth it he knew she was different. After many moons he had approached her about this

”So pray tell my fair lady…but how does one have such an ability to SOOOTH such monstrous creatures?” He asks being as dramatic as normal for him. She chuckles and replies

“I’ve always been about to do this, back at home, I have tamed quite a number of dragons most have deem untamable and aggressive.” She smiles constantly.

“But yet you still have no issues killing them? One would only think that your passion might get in the way of well…business?” Johann inquired. She shrugged and replied,

“Business is business…taming dragons doesn’t exactly put food on the table as long as MY dragons are safe and sound, I don’t really care about the others as much.” She says and she takes a bite out of the mutton she cooked for them. Johann puzzled til he sighed and stated,

“My dear I wouldn’t want to end such a wonderful path with have together but I may be able to help get you a better job with a…working partner of mine.” She straightened up with curiosity

“Keep going Johann.”

He smiles seeing her interest peaked. “His name is Viggo Grimborn one of the best dragon hunter groups known to the Archipelago. He is looking for a new trainer for new recruits. I think you would be good fit for this position.” Johann says openly.

She thinks it over smiles and nods “What do I need to do? Do I need to get his attention or can you just kinda…get me in?” She says slyly.

Johann thinks is over “I suppose I could put in a good word, if one might be so kind…as to…give me the recipes that you’ve learn.” Johann says with a sheepish smile.

“Johann, I love and DESPISE you! I will have someone at the markets make a copy of my recipe book.” She chuckles and hugs Johann. Johann knew that Katie was a good fit for Viggo. Both business and not.

Yelan, Kokomi, Beidou, Shenhe x gender neutral!reader when they find you after you've been tortured angst, hurt comfort?, injuries/blood/etc described

-Beidou would be shocked since you had been gone for months, she had been worrying about you the whole time. She feels a bit at fault for not being able to find you earlier.

-Beidou takes it upon herself to get you back to Liyue safely but she's not one to pry about what happened until you're safe and comfortable with talking about it.

-She takes you straight to Bubu Pharmacy. She's almost relieved that The Crux would be docked here in Liyue for a while otherwise she might have postponed leaving.

-Although she wants to know how this had happened, she lets you take your time to heal from the gruesome injuries that had been inflicted upon you. More often than not Baizhu or Qiqi had to ask her to leave so they could treat you.

-She has to admit, she does get a little worried if you end up sleeping for a while to recharge and regain your strength back as well and ends up talking to you a bit while you're asleep.

-" Oh, Archons, (name). Who coulda' done this to you!? "

Beidou on the outskirts of The Harbor, taking a stroll around in the warm midday sun. It had only been a few hours, maybe more, since the Crux had docked. You couldn't tell from just looking at her but she certainly did have a lot on her mind. Specifically you.

You had been missing for months without a trace and Beidou had always hoped you were there to greet her when she got back from each voyage but you weren't. It was starting to really get to her, the voice in the back of her head saying you were dead.

" ...B- Bei-dou..? " A hoarse voice called out which was followed by what sounded like a congested cough. She looked around, confused for a moment, not seeing anything she just muttered to herself.

" Must be hearin' things. " As she began to step forward, the same cough caught her attention again, this time she followed the noise. The familiar face she had missed was now bloody and bruised. " Oh, Archons, (name). Who coulda' done this to you?! "

-Kokomi is a worrier. She was so worried about you that when a soldier had come to tell her that they had found you all battered and bruised, she just had to stop everything she was doing to go see you.

-Even though she's a healer, she treats your wounds manually for a little while before using her vision. You never asked her why but you thought it might be better not to.

-She's always so gentle and keeps you near her at all times just in case you need something. She always gets you anything you need and always feels bad.

-Kokomi feels bad because she wasn't able to keep you safe and it makes her feel terrible since she had made a promise to do so. She doesn't jump to conclusions when you start to open up about it, she simply listens.

-" I.. I see.. I just wish I could have been there to keep you safe.. "

As the Divine Priestess she had work. Lot's of it. She was hoping it'd distract her from you. How you were gone without a trace. How you were gone because she couldn't keep you safe. The work was her distraction.

" Your Excellency! A soldier has just informed me that (name) was found on the outskirts of the island with terrible injuries! "

She had never gotten up from her chair so quickly before. " Please, bring me to them. " The soldier nodded, leading the way outside to where you were leaning on the shoulder of a soldier. You coughed but managed a small wave to her. " Oh archons.. Come here, (name). I'll heal you up.. "

-Shenhe shows no emotion at all on the outside but is so glad you're safe and in her arms again. She had looked for you from dawn till dusk and only had to stop looking when Cloud Retainer stopped her.

-She's not sure what mental, physical, or emotional tolls you've taken and resorts to Cloud Retainer for assistance who had suggested some slightly odd methods but ultimately Shenhe decided to go to Liyue Harbor.

-With her carrying you, she kept checking to make sure she wasn't hurting you in any way. Shenhe would take you to Bubu Pharmacy, hearing from others that it was a good place to go for healing.

-In the end, Shenhe does her best to follow Doctor Baizhu and Qiqi's instructions to take care of you, almost to the point of memorization and will continue it for the exact amount of days.

-" We are almost there. Does this way of carrying you hurt? "

You saw Bubu Pharmacy's entrance as Shenhe carried you on her back. Your legs felt so weak and your arms could barely hold onto her even when she was the one keeping you up.

" You know.. You didn't need to carry me, Shenhe. " You whispered to her, throat in desperate need of some sort of hydration.

" It was necessary, your legs were shaky. Cloud Retainer said I shouldn't let you walk. " She responded simply before adding. " Is this position uncomfortable for you? "

" No no, that's not it. I just- " You were cut off by a cough and then Shenhe speaking.

" We are almost there, please don't try to talk anymore. I don't want you to be anymore hurt than you already are. " She looked down, a little sadness was evident in her eyes.

" ...Alright "

-Yelan would have found you through interrogations. She'd rule out any suspects and interrogate the ones she found the most likely to have done something to you.

-Even though it had been months and you were assumed to be dead, Yelan wanted to at least see you one last time. She couldn't accept that you had died without a trace.

-When she finally had a gotten information, she was almost relieved that she could go find you even if it had a slim chance of being true but once she found you, she was beyond happy.

-Happy that you were alive, not so happy about your physical state. She had the Milileth accompany her to the spot in case they were needed so it was a big help for her to be able to take you back to Liyue.

-" Oh, thank the archons- you're alive! "

" That hurts, Yelannn- " You muttered, your strength depleted as she picked you up to help you stand. " My legs hurt like hell... "

Yelan looked at you for a moment before she spoke. " How about I carry you back to the Harbor? It'll be faster. " To which you hummed in agreement to her offer before being scooped up into her arms. " Does this hurt? "

" Mmm.. I'll be fine.. " You looked up at her, just wanting to be back at the Harbor safely.

" Alright, just tell me if you need me to stop. I'll get you to Bubu Pharmacy as quick as possible. " You mumbled an 'okay' in response, fighting the urge to close your eyes to get at least some sort of rest. " Hey- don't fall asleep on me. You have to stay awake. "

" Fine... " You let out a sigh and leaned your head on Yelan's chest as she kept walking in the dimming sunlight towards the harbor.

I liked an idea that I saw in a blog a long time ago, it started with the classic villain au where mc ends up being accepted but decides to live inside the tea pot. Coming out sometimes for groceries and events the archons begged you to assist.

Inside your teapot there are multiple buildings similar to a big shrine, all of them in floating islands trying to stay as far from the ground as you could. As far from visitors as possible.

Slowly you let more people inside, first the children and the teens, then slowly some of the adults and maybe later the archons, but that is yet to be decided. It is fun until the kids start saying things about the house, it's dirty

" I'm happy important lady/Mister/person let me in their house '' Klee laughed with albedo. When we played hide and seek I hid in some of the rooms but there was soo much dust i couldn't help but sneeze! It is unfair"

" Their divinity invited me for a tea party with klee and some children from liyue and Inazuma but a blue haired girl spilled some tea on my shirt! When I went out to change I entered such a dusty room, I think I still have spider web in the hair" in their slow time diona told Margaret while they cleaned the cups. Margaret just laughed, it couldn't possibly be so bad as diona says

When Qiqi returned to the bubu pharmacy baizhu asked his little assistant why her clothes her so dirty "Qiqi visited their divinity for herbs they told Qiqi they had them so Qiqi followed them, the room where it was stored was a bit dirty, they even tried patting Qiqi to get some dust out But Qiq still got the herb, so it's fine"

Sayu was the one who enjoyed it the most she could just nap in one of the rooms and get dirty and come out and fake to have battled some monsters or train instead of sleeping in

The rumors then grow in the cities to the point of getting asked by Barbara if you wanted her to take over cleaning up inside your teapot in the middle of the ludi harpastum

Permanent Relationships / Plot Calls

Now’s as good a time as ever, right? I figured I’d have a more concrete list of what I think might be fun interactions on this blog, and ways to better facilitate those things. So!

If you’re interested in threading with Kratos (whether we’ve spoken/interacted with previously or not) this is my way of reaching out and saying I’m open to RPing!

Below are some common things Kratos does/places he goes. These can be pre-established relationships if you’d like! If interested, you can DM me, or send me an ask, or hit me up on twitter/discord, either way!

1. Sword Training

Kratos runs a tutoring gig on the side in the mornings. Classes range from ‘I’ve never held a sword in my life’ to ‘sword fighting is like breathing’, since... y’know. Being alive for 4000 years gives you a lot of experience in this kind of thing. It’s open to all ages, and if swords aren’t your muse’s thing, he does general combat practice on occasion.

If you don’t want a wooden weapon, bring your own!

2. Flower Shop

Though only part-time (usually when he’s most needed), Kratos works for Karna at his flower shop. He’s mostly in the back or helping with things that aren’t arrangements, since he’s... kind of bland and not very creative. Nor is he particularly outgoing. But you’ll see him there in a florist’s apron nonetheless!

3. Bubu Pharmacy

He may have coerced Baizhu to hire him, but it’s for a good cause, really! He spends the other part-time hours here, helping more with physical work, or getting deliveries, or stocking shelves, or cleaning up the place... He doesn’t know a lot about medicine, admittedly, but he can do the other tasks. Kratos is nowhere near as friendly as Baizhu is, though, so it’s quite a stark difference if he’s the one helping your muse out.

4. Lloyd’s Dad

If you know Lloyd, you might see Kratos around him now and again. He’s much more stern than his son.

5. Avid Learner

It’s pretty common to see Kratos at the library (or outside, weather permitting) studying... almost anything, actually. Lately he’s been more focused on books on magic, or books he can find on the island’s history or topography.

6. Lurker

Actually he tends to stick to the shadows and watch people go about their business sometimes. It can be a little unnerving. In particular, he shows up near the center of the city for every eclipse he can catch. Watching...

7. Seraph

Though not common knowledge to most (at least, not ICly,) Kratos has lived a very, very long time. Though not exactly the angel you’d expect, he can use kinds of light and holy magic, and has wings he uses on occasion. He’s got that very specific “I’ve lived for so long and I’m extremely tired” vibe, in a resigned kind of way.

8. Guardian

Kratos has the idea that he’s in this city to protect the people close to him, since he has the opportunity to do so now. As such, he has that instinct to protect people in trouble if he sees it/can do something about it. This usually happens as a reflex, or in the heat of the moment. If he sees your muse in trouble (or conversely, sees them doing something to hurt someone else), he might do something about it.

9. Loner

Kind of self explanatory... He’s not particularly friendly or outgoing, is hard to rile most of the time, and can come off as blasé more often than not. He’s tolerable, but not exactly great company unless you break that outer exterior

Puddletown Dorms - 3x4 - Dorm

Hello everyone, first of all I want to thank everyone who likes and reposts my posts. You guys are the reason I keep on sharing my builds! 

This is a build for Academie Le Tour which I always connect to Veronaville. I imagine this build to be a restored old building (common areas) and the added dorms around them with the same outside wallpapers. I wanted to give it a little futuristic twist with the glass walkways between the doors of the dorms. 

After I built this I realized how much I loved the style of the houses in Veronaville so I started to build a downtown area for it and named it Verona City. Creative I know. xD I’ll be sharing those lots as I find time and hopefully share a neighbourhood using those lots in the end. 

There are 2 versions of the lot residential and dorm. You can pick one and install that.

Shooting Stars (Childe x Fem!Reader)

note: honestly, no one asked for this. this is obviously self-indulgent, but god FUCK do i love that ginger fatui man so much.

"Careful now."

Childe's voice was calming, much like the gust of wind that blew past your hair. You saw his hand in front of you and you gladly grasped it, heart racing at the idea of falling to your death. The wind was calm and the air was refreshing, but there was nothing light about the pit in your stomach screaming at you to just carefully glide back down to the foot of the mountain you two were climbing.

"You aren't going to die, dear." He laughed, amused at the sight of your face.

"And what if I do? Childe, this isn't funny!" Your knees were planted firmly on one of the floating rocks just above Qingyun Peak. You grimaced at how the moss scraped against your bare knees, but you felt paralyzed with fear at the thought of falling because you knew better than to trust your clumsy nature.

"I'm not letting you fall. Trust me!" The genuine concern and reassurance in his voice was masked with his charming playfulness, and you couldn't help but sigh and stand up to follow him up to the floating island up ahead.

Childe requested to occupy your entire day earlier that morning, saying something about him showing you a beautiful sight that's sure to take your breath away. You agreed, entertaining his idea of a beautiful sight. After sparring with him in the golden house, eating a sumptuous lunch at Wanmin Restaurant, then sparring with him again, you two headed over to Qingyun Peak. The sun was about to set, and your eyes were mesmerized by how the purple hues above your head covered the entirety of Liyue.

The golden hour was nearly over, and here you were, scared out of your mind, with Childe leading you up a path of floating rock chunks that you were sure would collapse if two of you stepped on one at the same time. However, much to your surprise, they didn't.

"I've got you, okay?" Your companion's voice rang in your ears, and you didn't notice that he stepped down from his current platform to take his rightful place beside you. His right hand was still holding yours, and he used his free hand to rub gentle circles on your lower back to comfort you. You breathed in his scent- a mix of dried sweat and blood with a hint of his perfume clinging to the fabric of his collar. It was a familiar scent, something that soothed you despite being thousands of feet in the air with no stable architecture to calm your nerves. You just had to trust that the Adepti architectures knew what they were doing when they built this pavilion.

"Okay," You whispered to him.

Surprisingly, the climb was easier than you initially expected. It did help that Childe was almost carrying you the rest of the way, but leaning into him was inevitable and unavoidable. It wasn't because you wanted to be buried deeper into his chest while he held you close to the point that the exposed skin on your lower back was starting to burn because his clothed fingers were just lingering there. No, definitely not that. You were simply prioritizing your safety.

"See? It wasn't that hard, right?"

"You could have told me that we'd be heading to the pavilion. I could have mentally prepared myself for the climb."

"Mentally prepare? I'm quite sure that clinging onto me the whole time put you at ease, hm?" You wanted to wipe the smug grin off his pretty face.

"Shut up before I make you, fatui."

He let out a hearty laugh, throwing his head back and clutching his sides.

"You're honestly too adorable for your own good." He stepped closer and moved the hair out of your face as you felt another strong breeze blow by.

"I said shut it!" You felt a rush of heat spread across your cheeks as his eyes scanned your flustered figure.

"Here, take a seat." He motioned to the stone seat facing the sunset. "I did tell you that I'd show you a beautiful sight tonight."

"I trust your taste, so it better be worth it."

"When have I ever lied to you?"

You shot him a look. As you were about to open your mouth to speak, he quickly interjected with a defeated sigh.

"Don't even answer that." You could only chuckle as he sat down beside you, inching closer and closer until your shoulders were brushing against each other. This wasn't really the first time that you and him have been this close with each other.

You and Childe have a... complex relationship, simply put. It's not like you were dating, but the way he treated you- with respect, with care, with love; You wanted to melt in his arms as easily as you could fight him with your sword. You weren't really sure if Childe had romantic feelings for you because he never really talked about it, but you could only go off on his actions, and they directed to the one conclusion that he did have feelings for you.

However, as your former partner in research, Albedo, once said, "Do not assume unless stated otherwise. Logic and officiality back facts as much as they debunk assumptions." In reality, it was so easy to understand. Theoretically, it was easier. However, now that you were there in that position where all signs pointed to Childe having romantic feelings for you, you didn't know what to believe in.

Did you want to trust your gut instinct, or did you want to wait until Childe made it official and clear? It was a mindboggling situation for you because you also found yourself enamored by him.

Why... Why were you even enamored in the first place?

Maybe it was because you adored how he talked about his family. You could just listen to him for hours on end as he fondly tells you the tales of his adventures with Tonia, Anthon, and Teucer. It was the way that his deep cerulean eyes lit up whenever you asked about short anecdotes about his family that he could comfortably share with you. He adored his family so much that it made you feel... jealous. Aether was your only family, and you were still on the pursuit to finding him, so you were envious of how Childe could still visit his family back in Snezhnaya if he wanted to. You? You weren't even sure if your brother was still in Teyvat.

Maybe it was how he always tended to your wounds after each time you sparred. Although Childe claims that he's nothing more than a bloodthirsty hound who wishes for nothing but power and glory, he really can't stand seeing you with an open wound or a bleeding nose. While Childe is primarily the reason behind your injuries, he'd also be the first to bring you gauzes, band-aids, and medicine from Bubu Pharmacy. You'd always be touched since he tends to you first before he paid any mind to the bruises and cuts that adorned his skin.

"Your health is my priority, comrade. After all. who else could match my skills in combat if not you? That's why you better take care of yourself, or better yet, allow me to take care of you instead." His words echoed in your head, and you blushed, realizing the possible implications of his statement.

Maybe it was his surprisingly sharp memory. Though Childe could never compare to the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's Consultant, Zhongli, he would often shock you at how he remembered things so well- especially when it came to you. One time, for your birthday, he bought you a necklace with your birthstone as the main gem adorning the fabric. You only ever mentioned your birthday once, and it was at an awkward moment during Hu Tao's birthday celebration, that's why you didn't think Childe would remember it at all.

"I pay attention to you more than you think, dear. I also happen to store things in my memory bank if they're that important to me." You remembered how he laughed as he insisted on putting the necklace on for you. Your hand instinctively latched on to the beautiful gem resting on your chest.

Maybe it was the way he called for your name. Whether he said your name in a battle cry, as a greeting, or in the middle of him teasing you, you were absolutely intoxicated with the way that your name rolled off his tongue. The way the syllables just always seemed so right when it was Childe who spoke them. Often, he would call you comrade, dear, or another endearing nickname he managed to create on the fly. However, when he spoke your name, it was always magical for you.

"Happy birthday, dear _____. I hope you enjoy this present!"

"It seems as though you've defeated me today. No matter, _____. I'm sure I'll triumph over you tomorrow."

"You look lovely as always, _____. Want to spar with me?"

"_____."

"_____."

"_____."

You were snapped out of your little daze. Your name being called over and over again wasn't just a hallucination caused by your infatuation with the eleventh harbinger. He was actually calling for you.

"Hey, _____? Are you feeling okay?" You blinked a few times before you realized that his blue eyes were practically puncturing your own. They were glazed over with concern, a sign that he had been calling you for a while now.

"O-Oh, I'm sorry!" You jolted, straightening your posture. "I was just fascinated by the sky, is all. I didn't mean to startle you."

"The sky, you say? Were you really thinking of the sky? Perhaps you were thinking about me instead?" His tone was teasing, a little more relaxed now that he knew you weren't feeling ill.

"The sunset was lovely. Although I see it everyday in Liyue Harbor, viewing it from up here in the pavilion is truly sensational. Thank you, Childe." You spoke, ignoring his attempt at riling you up. Of course, you were also ignoring the fact that he hit the nail right on the head with his guess.

"You didn't deny it, girlie." His voice was like a melody in your ears, a sweet harmony that made you feel elated. Anyway, why would you deny it? You were a woman of principle, which means you detested lying. It doesn't count as lying if you neither confirmed nor denied his guess, right? Right, keep telling yourself that.

"Don't flatter yourself." Your curt reply was met by another laugh.

"It should be anytime now," His words met the wind and your unknowing ears.

"What is?"

"Let's just wait for a few moments. I took you up here to see something more than just the sunset, after all." He gave you a wink, to which you just huffed and turned your crimson face.

A few moments passed, and Childe was already bouncing his leg up and down; Something you knew he only did when he was anxious or frustrated about something.

"Is something the matter?" You asked, watching his face grimace.

"Ah, perhaps my predictions were wrong." He stood up to stretch. "We were supposed to see something more than just the sunset, but perhaps Celestia just didn't want our little date to go as smoothly as I initially planned."

Hang on.

Date?

This was a date?

Your heart was racing and your mind began to fill itself with unanswered questions, but Childe knew better than to keep you waiting more than you already were.

"Hey, darling?" Your stomach dropped at the use of this nickname. "Do me a favor. Focus on the sky and don't look away until I say so."

You gave him a nod, unable to form the words that would suffice as a comprehensible sentence. He had you tongue-tied with just a simple nickname.

He walked away from where you were seated, just a few paces to your right and a couple of steps back. He was far enough to the point where you couldn't see him in your peripheral, but close enough for you to hear the jiggling of the adornments and chains on his clothes. You knew that sound even if it came from a mile away. You had it memorized by heart because of how many times you heard it before your sparring sessions began.

He took out his bow and was aiming to shoot an arrow.

Admittedly, there was a little voice at the back of your mind warning you about the potential danger just a couple of feet away from you. However, you decided to fight against it, knowing that the "potential danger" was just Childe. He'd never hurt you, right?

Despite the trust that you put in the ginger, you still closed your eyes as you heard him release the string of his bow. The quiet whizz of the arrow flew by your head, and when you realized that he wasn't shooting at you, you carefully opened your eyes to see a bright blue arrow shooting across the sky.

Your mouth went agape at the consecutive hydro-infused arrows flying across the velvet sky bedazzled with stars. The moon's glow illuminated the scenery, which made the setting all the more romantic and intimate. The vibrant hues of green and blue mixed with each other in the sky, creating an aurora borealis.

You were marveling at the number of arrows crossing the sky.

They were like shooting stars, except... they reminded you of Childe.

Though you knew they were only faux shooting stars, you closed your eyes.

"Archons, if you could be so kind, please allow me to be with him." You whispered to yourself.

You then opened your eyes to see the last arrow slowly fading away from your vision, and the hydro vision holder you loved so much sheepishly standing in front of you.

"I thought that the shooting stars would be visible tonight, that's why I asked you to come with me up here. Turns out my predictions were wrong. Maybe Scaramouche was right about the stars being a lie." He laughed, rubbing the back of his neck.

You giggled and looked at him, signaling to continue what he had to say.

"Although they were fake, I hope you liked them. I brought you here so that we could wish on the shooting stars together." His face was growing red, and you wanted to run up and hug him, if only your pride would stop getting the best of you.

"I loved them, Childe. Thank you for asking me out here today." You stood up and gave his hair a light ruffle, laughing at how he mocked you for doing so.

"So, what did you wish for?" He asked, taking a few steps closer to you.

"W-Well, uh," You began to stumble on your words, which caused you to involuntarily take a step back. With each step you took, Childe did too.

"Hmm?"

He managed to back you up against the pillar in the middle of the pavilion, and was enjoying the face you made as he trapped you between his arms.

"F-For good health! Yes, good health!" Yes, lying was against your principles, but you couldn't just say straight to his face that you wished for a relationship with him now, could you?

"Good for you then. You wanna know what I wished for?" His face came extremely close to yours, and you could feel his breath on your cheek.

"Wh-What is it?"

"You."

Your eyes once again met his deep blue orbs and they softened when he was staring straight into your soul.

"Can I kiss you?"
