For the last couple weeks I've been drawing logos / designs for local-ish (mostly NJ, some PA and NY) bands as warmups in the morning. Here's what I've come up with! Massive post below the break explaining each logo + where to find each band and listen to their music.

Teenage Halloween- a staple of New Jersey basements for probably about a decade now and finally getting wider recognition in the last couple years. Pop punk / power pop with a killer horn section. First time I saw them was in New Brunswick playing with Walter Etc. and Blowout. They played a killer cover "Build Me Up Buttercup" and my wife got a black eye in the pit. Recommended tracks: "Brain Song," "666," "Clarity." Their first EP is on a separate bandcamp page btw, check it out here it's great.

Sweet Pill - They will call themselves a Philly band but in my heart they'll always be from Glassboro. Definitely one of the more recognizable names on this list. Emo revival - early stuff is more twinkly, more recent stuff is heavier. All of it's great. Recommended tracks "Nephew," "High Hopes."

Shark Club - Central Jersey's finest. I'm very biased because I actually know these dudes and they did the music for my wedding. Some of the best pop punk you'll hear and the nicest people you'll meet. Recommended tracks: "Game Theory," "Bill Murray," "Heavens to Betsy."

Rest Ashore - My favorite band for the last (oh God I'm old now) eight years. From gut-wrenching emo ballads to virtuoso math-rock instrumentals they do it all. One time I got to sing vocals on "Lucy's Theme" at a house show- thank you Erica! Recommended tracks: "Hjarta," "Chinese Opera," "Devotion," "Soyuz Sweetheart." Too many bangers to name honestly, just deep dive their discography.

Morus Alba - First band I ever went to see at a house show and still one of my absolute favorites. Their music feels like the bridge between the best pitchfork, /mu/ alt rock bands and high energy basement emo. I mean that as a compliment and I hope it comes off as one lol. I should note that since 2019 Morus Alba has morphed from a band into an experimental hip-hop project so later releases sound radically different and basically disconnected from the earlier stuff. Also my favorite release from them, Live at Isabelle's, has been scrubbed from the internet but if you'd like the files just email me. Recommended tracks: "Skyscraper," "Human Resources," "The Goodnight Waltz."

Have a Good Season - another Jersey mainstay that's still going strong. Emo revival in their earlier releases, now with more 70s power pop influences in their newer stuff. See them live, they put on a fantastic show and usually play some great covers in addition to their original music. HaGS guys if you're reading this, please put your version of "Since You've Been Gone" online, I'm begging you. Recommended tracks: "Joseph / Shel Silverstein," (you have to listen to them together for the drop, so good) , "Gum, "Gleaux / Scab." Also, frontman Nic Palermo interviewed me once.

Elephant Jake - If you see any of these bands live make it EJ, they put on such a damn good show. Electrifying indie punk from the Empire State. Recommended tracks: "F.D.C." "Sarah Moyer," "Goodness to Honest," and of course you gotta learn "Sebastien Bauer" for the singalongs.

Blind Lion - Sadly one of the greats that we lost along the way. Defunct since about 2017. I only got to see them once but it was a great performance. Alongside their own stuff they played some killer covers of "Bad Moon Rising" and "Moonage Daydream." I had trouble doing a logo design for them because I actually really like the composition, if not the "Ed Hardy-ness," of their existing logo so what you see here are two separate attempts, neither of which feels entirely satisfying to me. Frontperson Larry Flately currently plays in Nematode and also handled production of Bradley Gardens joke hiphop group The Breakfast Boiz under the moniker "DJ Ova EZ." Recommended tracks: "Brumous," "Dinner."

Fighting Seasons - A band that I sadly found out about too late (via a sticker under the bridge in my town which has since been painted over). 2010s pop punk that packs a helluva punch, especially considering that I'm pretty sure the members were high schoolers for most of the band's existence. I think some members may have gone on to form Sawce (FFO Chon, Polyphia, that type of music) but I can't remember where I read/heard that so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Recommended tracks: "Fighting Seasons," "Oil on Canvas"

Milkmen- Another fallen giant, officially disbanded in 2019. Like Morus Alba, they played the very first house show I attended and their few releases remain on constant rotation in my home. Used to put on a great show and were one of the bands I always thought would make it big until suddenly they weren't around anymore. Frontman Ben Thieberger contributed guitar and vocals to Covid quarantine project Kin if you're looking for a bit of an extra fix but beyond that I don't know what these guys are up to these days, sadly. Recommended tracks: "Ramus," "Johnny Dangerously," "how sieves catch breeze," "K.O.T.H."

Stand and Wave - New York (now Philly) pop punkers delivering instant dopamine hits with every track. Another great live act, see them with EJ if you can! They often play shows together. Recommended tracks: "Convos," "Mrs. Dash," "Splashton Kutcher," "Michael Collins."

My Chemical Romance - You know who they are. While I was drawing all these other logos I ran a poll on Patreon to decide which famous New Jersey band should also be graced with a drawing from me. MCR won the poll by a hefty margin so unfortunately you won't get to see me do an illegible black metal take on Hoboken's Yo La Tengo. I ended up doing two versions: the one with the halo is the first, the one with the bats was the second. I tried to do something kind of thin and elegant with the first one and I don't think it's terrible but I also wasn't quite satisfied with it. For the 2nd attempt I tried to lean into the kind of pulpy, almost horror punk aesthetic of early MCR and I think that one looks better even if it's less original.

You loved your girlfriend, you really did, but sometimes moments like these really tested your patience. She sometimes really tested your patience.

“Leah, love, for the sake of football, any chance that we could head out before the world cup starts?” You shouted up the stairs, hoping the other girl could hear you clearly. 

The two of you had been invited out with the team, just a nice little get together to celebrate the end of the season before everyone parted ways to prepare with their individual national teams. It wasn’t much really, just a dinner that had the possibility of migrating to a bar or club, but nothing outwardly crazy.

You and Leah had started getting ready a while ago, you getting dressed much earlier due to Leah wanting to kick you out of your shared closet and room, something about a surprise and a kiss promising she wouldn’t be too long distracting you from complaining.

So here you were, sitting at your kitchen island for the past forty-ish minutes or so, resignedly waiting for the blonde to finally come down. Some time between the doom-scroll of Instagram and then TikTok, your mind had been severely sidetracked, the sweet aroma of your girlfriend’s favourite perfume floating down the stairs, overwhelming your sense in the best way possible, and for a while you hadn’t minded how long she was taking. 

Now though? A little under half-an-hour away from the designated time for the dinner, you were beginning to worry whether you’d make it on time, well aware that London traffic and parking would be a pain to navigate.

Getting no response from earlier, you tried once more, leniency wearing thin. 

Hand running across your face in a vain effort to relax, careful not to mess up your hair, you called out a bit gentler this time. “Leah we gotta leave soon otherwise we’re gonna be late!” 

This time you got lucky, the frenzied voice of the defender carrying through the hallway and down the stairs.

“I’ll be down in five! Almost done, I swear…just got my hair left!”

Quietly groaning to yourself, you threw your head back, aware that five minutes weren’t going to be just five minutes.

“I heard that!”

“And yet you didn’t hear my first call! Love you too babe!”

Shaking your head and taking a deep breath, you fiddled with your keys in front of you, getting antsy with every minute that passed. 

All you really wanted to do was see your girlfriend dressed up, admire her, and head out to enjoy your night with your teammates turned friends, something you were immensely excited for and therefore eager to attend to. All this waiting wasn’t doing you any good, the restlessness taking up home in your bones, jitteriness becoming ever present.

It seemed that luck was on your side though, when only about seven minutes later you could hear the defender approaching the top of the stairs. Murmuring a quiet thanks into the air, you rose from your seat, heading to the landing, hoping to usher Leah to the car quickly and head out.

Approaching the bottom steps though, you couldn’t help but stop in your tracks, the sight that awaited you when the blonde walked down the stairs making you glad you waited.

Your mouth falling agape, adoration pouring in your veins, you couldn’t help but stare.

“I-…Leah…baby…” You tried, words not seeming to fall past your lips, at least none that would do justice to just how beautiful she looked standing there ahead of you. 

Blinking, mind short-circuiting, you stood there stunned, speechless.

Leah wasn’t going to lie, she had expected this reaction from you, with the number of times she had already witnessed it in the past. Yet, each time it didn’t fail to cause her to blush gently, your love for her always surprising her, making her appreciate you just a little more.  

Head ducking down, biting back a smile, Leah’s soft voice wrapped around you. “What do you think? Worth the wait?”

“Uh-“ Swallowing hard, you tried to regain your bearings, praying for your internal gay panic to stop for long enough to allow you to form at least one coherent sentence. Letting your eyes trace over her stunning form, you tried once again.

“Shit.”

“That bad?” Leah couldn’t help but tease you, aware that you meant it in awe, yet not willing to pass the opportunity to annoy you.

“Leah…okay fuck. Shit. Fucking hell.” You threw your head back, eyes closing at your nervousness at seeing your girl dressed up. 

You could feel the blonde’s eyebrows raise in amusement at your words, not needing to look at her to feel her smiling, yet you did, bringing your gaze back down, not wanting it to leave her for even a second.

“What happened to being late for dinner?”

“Babe…” you whined. “You absolutely cannot be asking me that after you come down looking like that!” Finally finding your ability to talk, you continued. “Literally not at all fair. Not one bit. Did you even think about me? Or the other girls? How, tell me how are we supposed to stay focused on dinner when you look so gorgeous?”

Biting the inside of your cheek, you eagerly stepped forward to close the gap between you two. Opening and closing your mouth a few times again, you searched for better words to express how you were feeling.

“My god…”

“Yes I’m real, and yeah, I don’t know how you managed to pull me either to be honest.”

Head shaking in amusement, you reached out to the blue-eyed angel. “You’re so cocky y’know, out here thinking you can read my mind.”

“Am I wrong?” The cheeky reply not taking more than a second to slip past Leah’s lips.

“You know you aren’t. It makes it so much worse.” Grinning you let your eyes trace over her outfit for the umpteenth time. 

You weren’t sure how Leah managed to make everything she wore look so amazing, but she did, especially the suits that she wore, like she was now. There was just something about the way that the cropped blouse and tan suit had you in awe, her wavy hair and makeup complimenting it ever so perfectly, the world’s most elegant model, here in your arms. 

Taking a deep breath in, your eyes widened once the realisation that she was yours hit you again. “Seriously though…no words. I’d tell you you look beautiful but I don’t think that even begins to cover it.”

Your words had Leah blushing even harder, ocean eyes shyly meeting yours. 

“I’m so serious babe. I know I say it every time but you genuinely blow me away with how lovely you look. Out here leaving me at a loss for words really.”

Stepping back just a tad bit, you raised your intertwined hands above your head, wrist turning enough to wordlessly tell Leah to spin around slowly. 

“God I’m gonna marry you one day…” The words slipped out of your mouth, heart speaking faster than your mind could comprehend.

Leah stopped in her tracks at your words, slowly finishing her turn before looking at you intently. “You mean that?”

This time it was your turn to blush, cursing yourself for being so lovesick. 

Seeing the truly concerned look in the midfielder’s eyes though, you decided to double down.

Shrugging, pulling Leah closer by her waist, you eased her mind. 

“Yeah. You've had me wrapped around your little finger since the day we met. Still have me in a daze most days. In fact, you said it yourself, I genuinely can’t believe I managed to get you and so I’d be honoured to love you for as long as I can, forever hopefully.”

The look that she gave you at your words had your heart bursting in joy. Eyes shining with love, a gentle smile on her face, Leah looked at you like you were her whole world (because you were- she didn’t know what she’d do if she lost you).

“Promise?”

“Pinky promise. And you know we can’t break those.” 

Interlocking your pinkies, you brought your joined hands up to your lips, placing a tender kiss on the back of her hand before dropping it down.

Becoming aware that you had already spent long enough in your apartment and not enough on the streets though, (not that you would ever mind spending time with Leah) you decided to suggest finally heading out, only having ten minutes to make the twenty minute trip now. 

Tugging Leah closer to you, you placed a kiss on her lips before stepping back and giving her another once over and then a playful wink.

“As much as I'd love to stay here with you, Katie and Beth would absolutely kill us if we skipped out on tonight. So, before we get any more late, shall we head out pretty girl?”

Nodding and letting you lead the way, Leah followed you out the door, smiling to herself at your actions. She knew you were extremely punctual, not one to ever be late if it was in your control. Yet, in moments like these, you’d always make the time to appreciate her, to love her, and she couldn’t adore you more for it if she tried. 

It wasn't a secret how much the pair of you loved each other, endless teasing from all your friends (and sometimes family) adequate proof of that. Yet in stolen seconds like these, where it felt like you two were the only ones in the world, in the cozy bubble of your love, nothing ever felt greater, nothing ever felt more important. Not to you and most definitely not to Leah.

The English captain knew that she'd spend forever with you if she could, the idea of loving you, of marrying you having always been a question of 'when' rather than 'if'.

So if on the drive there, she silently planned your guys’ wedding in her head, you didn’t have to know. And if she spent a good chunk of that planning thinking about what wedding outfit would best leave you speechless, more than she had ever made you thus far, you most definitely didn’t have to know. After all, while her beauty left you tongue-tied, your love for her, all of her, left her at a loss for words, nothing but warmth coursing in her veins, a permanent blush on her cheeks.

And when you both arrived indisputably late, nearly half an hour past the designated time, and the teasing from your teammates was directed at you, you couldn’t help but shrug, declaring your love for her and ignoring the impending comments of 'whipped' headed your way.

“Leah looking at me dressed like that? There’s my weakness. She can take as much time as she needs to get ready. Hell, I made us late in fact. Really though, anything she says tonight, I agree with,” you joked, adoration and mirth filling your eyes.

It really was safe to say that it wasn't a secret how much you two loved each other, especially when all it took was her walking into the room for you to fall in love all over again.

Izumi: Hey, now that I think about it, all the manga that Muku-kun introduced this time had a jewel motif.

Sakyo: Is there a reason why you decided to stick to a jewel motif as the theme?

Muku: There is! My birthday bromide photoshoot is coming up soon, so seeing as the outfit I’m going to wear sparkles like a jewel… I figured it might be nice to introduce manga with a jewel motif for the next presentation.

Kazunari: Ooh, I see~. That choice screams Mukkun, alright!

Intro Talk

At the beginning of a Media Club+ episode Keith said something about sounding like an idiot because he'd go "these episodes were amazing" every single time & that is how I feel about PALISADE intros. But this one's. It's really good. I love when Friends at the Table is so good it makes me grimace. I've said it often now but the intros this season are just next level… They started SO incredibly strong with the podcast framing in the Road to PALISADE & then while going back (for the most part!) to a familiar structure did not let up on quality even a little.

The character intros + hooks reaaaally got to me what a smart way to point back at the history that these characters have and are bringing with them now to the finale! It's just so well done. + what a last line. "Do you miss home?" like damn!!!! okay!!!!!!!! I haven't went around to read posts yet so I'm curious if people have a guess at the speaker, if there even is an in-universe one? But I thought of it as adressed to Perennial.

The og Phrygian description is still so good btw. I remember being extremely delighted when I first heard it in PZN

Also I think "Eclectic. And easily." is just a cool thing to say. I think I was laughing about it at the time. But it really was cool I love the tryhard cool but also actually cool weird robot detective guy I'm truly so fond of him. I'm glad he's the one to follow up Phrygian who I DO still miss… but I would be a lot more upset about their end/the character switch if I didn't genuinely enjoy Eclectic.

The fact that all (most? does he speak at the beginning before Future talks? "You stole my power. I stole your voice." is adressed to Gur, but is it in response to something? Truly can't make out most of what's being said there.) of what we get from/about Gur here is the moment of their death that they've seen over and over and over again is honestly just. Oh it hurts. He's not a PC obv so it's not the same but it being played next to the character introductions & their hooks as most important convictions it's really like… this defines them in a way they can't escape (especially not now). As an aside I'm curious if Austin did another read on those lines or if this is from the old file? You can't make them out as clearly in the intro they're from (they're more heavily layered). Loooooove the desperation & sudden force on the "Don't!" still. I'm happy that R2PAL intro got this shoutout - with the narration from Layer Luxurious finally not being warped & completed too! I've heard that intro SO many damn times there was a real feeling of... not comfort necessarily but strong familiarity? To me it looms maybe as large over PALISADE (season) as the actual episode 01 intro (Nothing is stationary. Not even corpses are stationary! But we gotta start moving now. 1500 days since etc. etc.). Oh!!!!! Gur Sevraq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hearing this I also immediately thought of the most recent clapcast where Austin talks about having notes for intro narrations like yeah damn I bet those were really needed with this one. And these overlapping ones must be really wild to edit/produce too - because the effect of a cacophony of sorts is obviously intended ("But is too loud on Palisade.") but you do want the listener to pick out what's actually being said. And then what overlayers of course has to match too. It's just good shit!!! I honestly always want more producer chat from Ali it's so interesting to me. It's sad she can't interview herself though she of course shares stuff when talking to the others on Gathering Information, it's not quite the same... She just asks good questions & does a great job as a host, but she can't really do that for herself.

General Thoughts…

It's fun to have everyone there : ) I enjoy it generally and also to have Art & Jack playing characters again.

listening to the recent Gathering Information Jack doesn't say who they play but it was on my mind until I listened to the episode & I was hoping they'd pick August over General Morning (who I STILL mentally mix up with Mourningbride. Like not actually the characters but I keep picturing her as a Hypha even when I know she's not) or just go with something entirely different. This is good though

for some reason I was so sure Austin would also play a character (maybe Elle?) but it makes sense he doesn't (is facilitating) (7 people are already more than the game intends to be played with).

Questlandia sounds cool so far. I like the preferred weaknesses (& the weaknesses as a move you can make in general!) and the controlled facets a lot. Curious how the relationships play into everything. This has me exited because I didn't particulary care one way or another about the PZN finale game & I do think it impacted my enjoyment somewhat… It is actual play after all so it's always more fun when I can get excited about mechanics and not just the story, and to see how both interlock.

ALI: And then I can play Broun as- Broun can be as doubtful as they need to be now, hehe. AUSTIN: Wait a second, who? ALI: (panicked) Who?! (laughing) I gotta go. I'm sorry, I can't do this tonight. I gotta- (laughing)

also pretty happy with the relationships (everyone going we NEED Brnine/Thisbe here was so real. There's so much history & their bonds have, ever since PZN, been bangers and so important to both characters… Very fun that it starts out exhausted on both ends too). I think Eclectic & August could have worked out a relationship on account of them both being Delegates - one who lead their revolution and one who left Palisade behind at the first possible opportunity - but I digress. I'm glad for the Brnine-Eclectic connection instead. The Cori & Clem ones are really good too.

They're having fun this episode. They're being so funny and I don't want to keep writing out bits I laughed at but "He's a teapot" in the tone of well OBVIOUSLY Eclectic is cool was. very good. So true : )

ALI: Uhm yeah, I've written three [goals] to be annoying, (AUSTIN: You gotta pick one.) but I'm - I'm now considering the first one Valences and the second one is Phrygians, so I'm allowed to have all of them. AUSTIN: (cross) No. You do not. SYLVI: Oh my god. KEITH: Wow. ALI: And I've written - (laughing) I've written: "Make life better", "Bloody their noses" - I can still read it! - and then "Connect to the wider network of Millenium Break". ^OBSESSED with this so I DID have to type it out. I know it's like not feasible mechanics wise but ooohh i wish it was real... I wish she could've kept them... it's both so funny and extremely good. Overall very enjoyable episode. Relaxing even, I love getting rules explained to me. I love when Friends at the Table character creation/set-up takes over 2 hours. I hope the finale is over 6 episodes long (maybe finally beating out the Second Spring?) & I hope at least two of them are over 3 hours long. None under 2 hours. This kind of feels like I'm putting a curse on them honestly but I do want it

My best friend invited me to meet her new boyfriend Chris. She invited me with them at the bar. His 2 other triplet brothers were coming too. We were gonna meet at 8pm at the bar down my street. So I was getting ready. I just put some make up on and u cute skirt with a t-shirt. I grab my purse and double check if I have everything. Yep, I'm ready to go. I grab my jacket and get out the door.

I walk around 5 minutes until I arrive. It's pretty cold outside but I didn't mind. Once I arrive I see me bestie waiting for me. She waves at me and give me a sign to come to her. "Hey girl it's so nice to see you," my best friend says. "Yeah so nice to see you too," I say as I give her a warm hug. "So this is my boyfriend Chris," she says as Chris walks up from behind her and shake my hand. "Hi I'm Chris, it's nice to meet you," he says as we shake hands and he smile. "Hi I'm y/n it's nice to meet you too," I say while we stop shaking hands. I'm a bit confused since my bestie told me his brothers were coming to....and I didn't see them. But I don't mind it.

As we drink a few drinks, I needed to go too the bathroom. But almost tripped, but luckily a guy catches me right in time. "Hey are you okay?," a male voice said, he's pretty tall, around 5,8. Beautiful brown hair and blue eyes, exactly my type! "Uhmm yeah I'm okay...thank you for that," I say as I get up from his muscular arms. "I'm matt, its nice to meet you," matt says as he let go of me. "I'm y/n, are you the brother of Chris perhaps?," I ask cause they look alike a lot. "Yeah I am, and there is nick our other triplet brother," he says as he points put to nick. "Wow you guys really look alike," I say kinda surprised. "Yeah, well were triplets after all," matt says with a caring sweet voice. We make eye contact, for a really long time...he started into my eyes, and I started into his... "uhm I gotta use the bathroom, maybe I'll see you around?," I ask as I make my way too the bathroom. "Yeah sure, bye y/n," matt says as he walks back to nick, he was playing games and stuff. "Bye matt," I say as I enter the bathroom.

Me and my best friend had fun the entire night, well I was most of the time alone drinking cause she was always kissing Chris and clinging onto him. I wanted to go to matt but I was a bit scared. So I just stayed at my seat next to my bestie and drank a few more drinks. It's now almost 11pm so I decided too head home. So I gave my best friend one last hug before I headed home. Once I arrived home. I put on my pj's and went to my bathroom to take of my make up and brush my teeth. Once I did that lay in my bed and I couldn't stop thinking about matt...he's beautiful blue eyes, his brown fluffy hair and not to forget muscular body... as I think of him I start to feel sleepy so I shut down my night lamp and went too sleep...

The next morning I wake up at 9am. I garb my phone and see that I got a message from a number I didn't recognize...

I couldn't believe it...but how did he get my number?

I immediately got a response back.

List your Gavin headcanons, I am now curious

I suck at headcanons but these are the cop headcanons I was talking about:

Gavin joined the force around 10yrs before when we meet him in the game

Back in patrol he used to be rough with suspects even if he knew they were innocent, y'know the ego, never admitting he's wrong and shit. The use of force is a bit over the limit too, throwing people on the ground when ain't that necessary, pinning on the wall, car hood and shit. Your average police brutality metaphor.

Always an escalating prick: if he can make the environment kinda tense he will, with authoritative and sometimes sarcastic tones. He also tends to joke about the suspect behind 'em back, calling 'em idiot and shit like this.

On scene he used to make questionable jokes with his pals (that were like him) when with a suspect detained or arrested especially if related to DUI.

His superior on Patrol Unit used to be "corrupt" too so he was always kinda backed up cuz although he was an asshole he got things done and u know what cops think about some types of suspect, especially the hostile ones

If he can go for his gun he gonna go for his gun and gonna point it in your face.

Although Gavin could be considered a corrupt cop for having power trips dude knows the laws, the thing is he does what he thinks that needed to be done to make the wheels turn. I'd say he got his own laws.

When going to clubs or bars things almost always ended up in conflicts or fighting and i'd say even if he took a beat mf gave it back doesn't matter if the mf is a 2m bodybuilder. Ofc mf drop the "cop card" to put people in 'em place. This habit continues to this day

For some reason I believe Reed been a detective for at least 4 years when we meet him. He thought about trying SWAT before or even K9 (mf love dogs, hunter dogs) but found himself in financial related crimes division, later in major crimes like homicide. He liked the detective even tho was a hell of work and u couldn't have peace. But it's a popular area to try building a career.

Dude's kinda interested in firearms.

He's still got the habit of joking even on the most gruesome crime scenes. It's like things don't impact him that much to the point if he discovered something he didn't like about the victim he would joke about 'em death

He got a damn of a dirty mouth esp when not inside the station and he can be disrespectful in some moments

He's known ass Det. Asshole in his division. Dude's always sarcastic and arrogant, and wanting mfs to laugh or agree with him. Some actually pretend being in the circle but still think dude's an asshole and invasive sometimes, especially the women.

He'll often make homophobic and transphobic jokes especially if he wanna piss someone off - mostly about men, if fruity or too feminine or trans women that looks "kinda masculine". Nothing personal, tho.

If the person is fucking an android or is an android "lover" he'll also shit on this, usually saying things like "you can't fuck a real person so you need a piece of plastic as replacement". It's basically like asking for him to look down on mfs. He also bully his co-workers about it, especially if the coworker dislike androids too. It's like an offense.

He got very peculiar opinions on Tracis, especially the fem ones. By peculiar I mean quite negative and I got the impression he would do some bad things to 'em. I'm talking about destroying 'em, ofc.

He also ain't got respect for "the bitches" - u just gotta look and/or act like one, btw. Well... He'll joke about it and be quite disrespectful. Men can be bitches too, according to him. "Pussies".

On the contrary of what most of the fandom think doesn't matter if he kinda see an android like an individual he'll still see 'em as inferior beings that should kneel to him and kiss his feet and he'll carry this mentality for a good time. The rebellion actually makes him "hate" android more cuz now androids are giving "orders" and making demands.

He sometimes bully the android cops too. He just likes making fun of 'em, bumping into 'em on purpose sometimes even making 'em fall to the ground and saying "oops! Sorry" in sarcastic tone. Ofc when things are more empty at the station and nobody gonna complain about it

He'll be an ass about androids while they're passive, and he expects 'em to always bow down in the end. Even if the android did something absurd he gonna joke about it or force 'em to bow. The moment the android becomes visibly unstable dude gonna shit on his pants and gonna order somebody to deal with the shit - which was the case in The Interrogation with Ortiz's android. But I assume most human characters are like this as they're not used to unstable androids or see 'em as just defective machines comparable to your printer going wild in the office

He like telling stories about his cases and experiences to anyone next to him in the moment. Even if it's some fucked up shit mf is always with his sense of humor on point.

This fucked up and sarcastic sense of humor happen to be one of his manipulation methods in interrogations, where he constructs a bridge with the criminal so they feel like in a friendly chit-chat and confess. But his favorite method is roughing up suspects, if he can get physical, punch mfs he will so if mfs don't tell him what he want he kinda doesn't mind that much, if u know what i mean.

Bro is aiming for supervisor ranks for the name but he actually sucks in being in a team. Dude always wanna order everybody and do everything himself, not obeying orders that goes against what he think is right. He hates some people are in the way of him achieving it.

If the "lead" detective on scene he doesn't wanna anyone fucking around, even if the person is a witness. He tends to escalate things or even get the witness "roughly" detained if they piss him off.

Some co-workers try avoiding him, fear him but some are just assholes like him. Not the majority, tho. Sometimes mf can be an asshole but dislikes Reed

Although he's a complicated person he has been more cautious in not having his shit being discovered by superiors not cuz he think it's wrong but cuz he doesn't wanna mfs screaming in his ear and fucking with his stairway to success. Shit going public also wouldn't be a good deal.

Bro just wanna get the job done to add to his list of accomplishments, to show how although he got an asshole reputation mfs can't say he's a bad detective. And it's even the reason some superiors are actually cool in pretending they didn't see shit - we're dealing with criminals, after all. They're less than animals.

He knows Hank covers criminals and it makes him pissed how Jeffrey backs him up just cuz he's his friend, not cuz Hank is doing a good work. It's all about the old times. Gavin looks down on the type of criminals Hank cover, even tho he kinda pits 'em. But there's one reason: androids. As I said before Gavin jokes about mfs addicted to drugs, he looks down on 'em most of the time - alcohol and red ice being the common ones. Control the shit, don't let it control ya is the deal.

Some mfs already tried bribery with Gavin cuz they were "relevant" or something so minuscule there's was "but why?" in the air but mf throw it back at 'em and kinda laughs. If he gotta investigate what end up to be a fellow police officer he'll do it and be pleasured in fucking mf's life, unless mf is really friends with him. The issue is when some commands come from above him, it's another reason he's aiming for higher ranks. He doesn't care if he would act kinda corrupt as long as he gets what he wants done.

He knows about the overall police reputation and how he can be seen as one of the rotten apples and i don't think he cares about cleaning the org's name, just about getting his work done.

During the "Android Crime Unit" episode he was the only one that thought this whole thing was sus af. But it was out of his hands, had superiors involved on this so he just let it go even if he hated it. Although he can be impulsive he got good eyes and ears to detect fuckery going on.

He ain't a fan of CyberLife at all not only cuz of android but cuz he dislike megacorporations like this who got 'em hands on everybody like this, replacing everybody like they're nothing. If he got the opportunity of shitting on 'em he will. Being replaced by one of 'em shitty products is a damn offense, almost a threat.

He dislikes the gov but when the deviant crisis happens his opinion on androids doesn't change. He actually wants 'em to be set on fire, gunned down, destroyed, even if it means it's helping CyberLife. He's there to serve his city, after all. LE gotta show who's the boss in this mf. Curiously this a sentiment most of cops share even after a successful revolution.

He got this "badass motherfucker alive" sentiment. Back when he was in uniform he used to take pictures of him with hand on holster or gun in hands, "like a boss" poses and shit. Y'know, those cops who like some aviator glasses and badge always on sight. It still kinda a thing now with plain clothes. He just thinks he's the best mf ever esp at work - always trynna prove being superior

There's a very good way of shutting him up, tho: letting him talking to the walls or being too polite in counter-argumenting him at work. He'll get angry fr. He doesn't like when mfs think they're better than him or more "successful" than him at his job.

In the end he's just a high-nose bastard. Everybody facepalms and sigh deeply when they know Det. Reed is in the area.

Some stuff may contradict another but I guess I really don't give a fuck now? I'll have a proper list with a proper english in my docs some day, maybe February 31st.

yayyy gonna talk about hot pants because she's been on my mind lately. first of all yeah her name is hot pants from the james brown song it's deeply unserious but also I kinda respect it like she chose it herself as an alias and you gotta be a certain type of person to pull off being called hot pants. i have my own theories as to what her actual name is (helena pucci you are so dear to me) but she's only ever referred to as hot pants in canon.

so the whole plot of part 7 is that there's a load of people doing a pan continental horse race from san diego to new york in 1890 and along the way the main characters find part of a corpse and it gives them stands basically and so we have four or five groups trying to find all these corpse parts for their own goals johnny the main character is trying to find them because he thinks the corpse could help him regain the ability to walk after he was injured pre canon the president wants it because he sucks and loves america and jesus (the corpse is jesus btw) and thinks all these other backwards nations don't deserve the corpse of jesus christ diego is going after it for shits and giggles tbh hes vaguely working for the president but tbh hes just here to get paid

and hot pants she's a nun of the vatican and she's here on behalf of the vatican to find the corpse and take it back to the pope where it belongs I guess. except she's actually trying to get it because she's desperate for salvation and she thinks the corpse will save her from her sins

what sins, you may be asking. well when she was younger she and her little brother were in the woods for whatever reason I think they were picking berries idk and they were attacked by a bear and she survived and her brother didn't. she says that she killed him she pushed him towards the bear in order to escape herself but it's unclear how much of her own recollection of stuff is clouded by self hatred and time she's at least ten years older now than she was then probably more tbh . I imagine it was something like they were running and got separated and he fell behind and she couldn't go back for him or she would've died too she turned back and saw the bear kill him and had to just keep running despite his screams or something like that idk you could extrapolate a lot from here but I don't think she deliberately killed him I think that's something she's internalised and can't move on from. so she returns home and everyone is really sympathetic about the accident and the loss of her brother but because she blames herself so heavily she can't bring herself to be around all these people who love her she feels she doesn't deserve it and so she becomes a nun to get away from her family and try to atone for her sins. at some point she ends up moving to the vatican and then joins the race (at 23!!! she should be at the club!!)

so yeah shes in the race and she's a pretty important supporting character in her first appearance she rides up to johnny and gyro and is like hi im gonna fucking kill you because you killed my cow. she had a cow I guess . I don't really know why. yeah they didn't kill her cow but she's violence first questions later type of guy and so she does nearly kill them with her stand which is uhh. it's an aerosol and it shoots flesh out 👍 she does some pretty cool stuff with it tbh but that's not the point here anyway gyro thinks she's a man at this point which good for her I respect the gender game she's playing. anyway then the three of them get stuck in a timeloop and she passed out and johnny is like omg she's a woman that's cool and doesn't tell gyro because gyro hates women and johnny is the world's first feminist and them they steal her sandwiches and leave. thinking about this arc I missed out a lot because its mostly a gyro arc hp is just there it's her first appearance but she doesn't do that much

she shows up again later when the two of them are like 30 seconds away from death fixes them up with her flesh spray and steals all the corpse parts they had collected by this point she does some more stuff etc implicates herself so now she's wanted by the government and then my fav arc begins it's mostly about johnny and it's brilliant but hp is also here. they end up at a church and hp is there but she's in her nun clothes idr what it's called and gyro doesn't recognise her because he's incapable of being normal about women and he just fucks off to do whatever meanwhile johnny is talking to her and there's this scene which im soooooooooooooo obsessed with

in my beautiful world they fall in love post canon but . well. I'll get to that later and she doesn't answer him she says they're all about to die she's being taken over by this stand ability called civil war which is really really interesting it's basically like. anything the person it's targeting feels grief over comes back to haunt them and idrk how to explain what that's like ill just show u but it's pretty on the nose symbolism about hps whole character and offers pretty interesting insights onto johnny and gyro too

actually forget that im gonna talk about her and johnny they make me sick and somehow no one else sees how good their relationship is. they're really similar they both blame themselves for the deaths of their brothers but while hps family loved her so much she couldn't bear it and ran away johnnys dad said to his face yeah the wrong son died which is like. insane. hello. to your son's face. anyway they're both driven by this desire for something to save them it's like uh yk that post that goes "I hope one day they do a test on me and find out im deficient in some type of vitamin and I'm put on vitamin supplements and that solves every problem ive ever had" it's like that they want this corpse to save them but it CANT because nothing can save them but themselves johnny thinks if he's able to walk again his life will go back to how it was and a) it won't because this journey has irreparably changed him and b) he cant regain the ability to walk he can't and the problem is he can't accept that he's driven by this faith in something that can't save him and the same for hot pants she thinks of she can find the corpse it will save her from her sins but she has to be the one to move past her sins no one else can heal her theres not a switch that when flipped will fix her

she will always carry this grief with her always always and she has to learn to live with that but she's so deep in her own self loathing that all she's thought about in years is how she's a sinner in need of a saviour she has to be her own saviour she has to move on and she CANT she's been static all these years the grief is as raw as it was ten years ago arfghghhlgkfgkaglalgw however unfortunately for us all araki is incapable of writing a good ending to her (and johnnys) arcs because he regains the ability to walk magically thanks to the corpse of jesus christ and she dies in pursuit of salvation which is pointless because thats what she WANTS!!!!!

she'd rather die a martyr than live a sinner and by killing her off (pointlessly and pretty much off screen. Btw ) it ruins what her whole arc was building up toooooo god I'm so mad about this. it's fine in my beautiful world she survives and reunites with johnny after the events of canon and they travel to italy together and johnny is still disabled and they get close and grow as people and he becomes the first person she's let herself really be close to and they Get eachother and have a level of mutual respect from when they first meet and every subsequent meeting adds to that and they need another slower journey where they're not fighting for their lives all the time to address what they've been through and who they are and who they will be aghhjhj this needs to be a longfic so bad if I wasn't the worlds slowest and least motivated writer

I was gonna talk about the rest of civil war arc and her relationship with diego but it's 11:30 pm I have work in the morning and I've talked more than enough goodbye I hope this was understandable

It’s going pretty decently. This week has been rough, but finding out the Tinlightenment Kickstarter met its goal has definitely made it better, and so has this ask :)). That’s a groovy policy btw, have fun with that. 

Now, I don’t think you understand the opportunity you’ve given me with this ask because I adore talking about the music I listen to. (Also you joke about Virginity Rocks, but I have had that song, along with Axe Man, on repeat for the past week).

Alright, get ready for a whole breakdown on what I listen to because I make the rules and I say I get to talk about music as much as I want. Ok, so I really go through phases with what I’m listening to. Overall genres though are like- Heavy metal, rock, indie rock, indie, folk, folk punk, and pop punk. I’d say a big portion of it goes to indie rock and folk though (at least- right now). 

My favorite bands and artists though- that’ll have to be like The Backseat Lovers, Ricky Montgomery, Slaughter Beach, Dog (<- Those two are one band name), and Noah Kahan. But then I am also a big Crane Wives, Hozier, and Peach Pit fan. That’s all the more chill side of the music I listen to though. 

On the opposite end of this spectrum, we’ve got bands like Ice Nine Kills and Nothing More. (Ice Nine Kills is such a cool band btw, they do horror metal where they have albums where each song is based on a different horror movie, and it’s so good. If you like metal at all I would totally check them out). And then also there’s Waterparks, and Set it Off, and I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, and MCR, and The Wrecks, and Glass Animals. (Haha that was a polysyndeton, thanks AP Lang!) Oh! And Friday Pilots Club! 

Specific songs at the moment though? Black Fins by Right Montgomery for sure, that song's so sad but by god is it a banger. Current favorites are also Monster by Slaughter Beach, Dog, and Snowbank Blues by The Backseat Lovers. Just great songs all around. 

But yeah like I said- I could on for hours about music. Please listen to any of these bands if you feel so inclined, and let me know if you like 'em! I love finding people who have similar music tastes as me! Plus also- I’m hella curious about the overlap of specific music genres within the Starcanwrecked fandoms. But that’s a separate post, I believe.

-Me: Okay so apparently it was a year since Alois was last put in detention and he lost his 'fame' as a delinquent?? Character development. I mean, he's in detention right now, but still-

-Me and my best friend being Travis stans is a costant. We were hype about him FINALLY having a Travis PoV chapter.

-Travis, in that chapter, says that if Cielois ever got engaged, he would be sure to give them a discount, wich i found really sweet. Now I'm wondering, in the future... were the rings made by Travis' mother or did Ciel commission them from someone else? I don't remember...its been too long..please tell me if you're reading this, Hate.

-Me losing it from how funny it is that everything happens at Warwick (despite knowing that it's bc it's the MCs' school) upon starting the Black Annis case and musing about how the other students should have just gone to Weston or some other less chaotic school.

-So, during the whole Ciel-Fights-Alois-While-Under-The-Effects-Of-The-Fear-Poison, Ciel says "Your blood tastes just as good as the rest of you" and I was like "I really didn't want to know that"

-After hurting Alois and coming back to his senses, Ciel is scared and feels guilty so he keeps avoiding him, wich hurts Alois as well as himself, so the whole household is upset about the situation in return. When I told my friend about it, she went "Nooo they're in their divorce arc!" and it killed me 💀

-I was talking about how Cielois & Co were scared of the council kicking up a fit and killing them bc of the drug controlling Ciel, but I was calm bc I trust Integra, and tbh that was my modus operandi about most if not every interaction the demons ever had with HELLSING...and I'm not even a HELLSING watcher/reader...

-Btw i also stanned Oliver's dad EXTREMELY. He's a good man and a good father.

-I was really sad about Alois not wearing the short shorts anymore bc they were funny to me. Now I'm not anymore, tho I gotta say I always missed his crossdressing? Like although he did it so often mostly for attention (as he himself says in the sequel) I gotta say I miss the "So what's wrong if I'm a man and like to crossdress?" thing he did. Luckly Kris picked up the slack and crossdressed in that Pride chapter. U GO KRIS.

- So Integra goes into the specific of the experiment to Humanize Ciel and then asks everyone if they're okay with saying he's innocent in the attack to Alois and everyone but one gets his hand up and I was really mad abt that one but then I found out that it's just that the guy was asleep bc he was extremely old and it was really funny to me.

-About the paintball fight the 7 did where (I think) the others put Alois and Ciel alone in two different teams thinking it would put them at a disadvantage, my friend was like "I love how they did that bc if Cielois was together the others would be defeated in half a second (Bathroom Break included in that time)"

- Me: I still don't understand why the rest of the Seven is like "You guys never do anything chill and normal!!" like...The fashion show?? The summer vacations?? The host club???

My friend: Exactly, c'mon! The fact that like half of those ends in chaos anyway is not their fault...

Me: LMAO. I mean, though, most of those went normally? The only chaotic time I can think of is when they found out about Luka's soul being back and had to make a whole ass ritual in the basement to give him a body.

My friend: Still normal enough if you ask me.

Me: Yeah, normal teenager behavior 💀

Hbtaker- My Bloody Valentine

I'm starting this at 10:19pm. I have till midnight to get my valentines special out ig. This is not the fic from my poll BTW.

Shawn never truly liked valentines day. He wanted too, he really tried too, but he's never had a good valentines day. Until he met Taker. He was quite surprised when he'd find black roses in his locker or duffle bag every valentines day. He was quick to figure out about his secret admirer was, but if anyone asked, shawn didn't know.

It warms shawns heart, especially when he finds out Takers lack of valentine knowledge. Shawn guesses he should of known. I mean, how much can you really know when your parents die when your a boy and you end up raised by a cult obsessed man?

It does mean that whilst their valentines are cute and normal now, they used to be strange.

"Thats stupid. Why would you ruin a perfectly good holiday with horror stories?" Shawn groans as he brushes his hair. "You didnt even like valentines day until you got a secret admirer" Kevin scoffs leaning back against the locker. He did agree with shawn though, he didn't need to think about a man murdering girls and their dates on valentines day, especially when he was planning on getting lucky tonight. "Oh cmon, blood sex, don't tell me you've never tried it" Scott smirks grabbing shawns hips. Shawn jumps and hits Scott's shoulder with his brush. "Quit it will you!" Shawn frowns. Scott chuckles and lets him go. "Ease up boy toy. I'm just playing with you." Scott tells him. Shawn shakes his head. "So what are everyone's plans for tonight?" Sean asks giving hunter a water and dropping down next to him.

"Me and Chyna are having dinner" hunter shrugs accepting the drink. "Me and Scott are heading to the bars with some others" Kevin answers. "Well, can I join?" Sean asks. "Of course, if you can keep up" Scott teases. Sean flips him off. "What about you Shawn? You got plans or joining us?" Kevin asks. Shawn looks at the bigger man in the mirror. "Ill pass. I'm just going to order pizza and watch a film." Shawn declines. The boys look at each other. "So no plans with your secret admirer?" Hunter asks. Shawn rolls his eyes. "It was a one time thing" Shawn lies. "Mm sure" Scott mutters before opening shawns locker.

Shawn watches as Scott pulls out a black rose. "I wonder, was this here before your match?" Scott asks. "No" Shawn pouts as he moves over to the bigger man and snatches the rose. "Your just jealous" Shawn tells him. "Jealous? Please, one of us is getting laid tonight and one of us is having nightmares about being murdered" Scott teases. Shawn shoves him. "Scott!" He snaps crossing his arm. "Stop it scott. I'm not leaving a club early because you've scared the shit out of him" Kevin huffs standing up. "Oh please, you wouldn't hesitate" Scott smirks as the man walks over. Kevin ignores him and looks at shawn.

"Do you want me to join you tonight?" Kevin asks. Shawn sighs and rubs his neck. "I appreciate it kev, but you don't have to cancel your plans because Scott's an asshole" Shawn smiles. Scott goes to retort when Kevin holds up his hand. "He has a point. He has a stranger stalking him every valentines and you tell him a horror story." Kevin points out. "Can we stop mentioning it!" Shawn groans. "Well, I can. I've gotta go" hunter chuckles standing. The boys say bye and watch as hunter leaves. "At least one of us will be lucky tonight." Sean sighs. "Hey, as long as you don't blow it, us three will get lucky tonight." Scott states. "Yeah well good luck. Imma go grab myself a pizza" Shawn tells them as he grabs his bag. "You sure you don't want us to drive you?" Kevin asks, clearly worried. "Ill be fine big guy. I'll see you all tomorrow." Shawn chuckles before walking out.

"Please leave mother hen mode. I promise you, shawn will survive valentines day" Scott begs. "You are such a asshole sometimes. You know how easily spooked he can be" Kevin huffs. "And ill make it up to him tomorrow if he has nightmares, now cmon let's get out groove on!" Scott cheers. The other men groan and cringe at him but agree.

Shawn adjusts the bag on his shoulder as he walks down the dark streets. Part of him wishes he took Kevin up on both his offers, but he doesn't want to ruin the mans night. Shawn pauses underneath a street light. Something isn't right. He turns and looks at the restaurant he happened to stop outside. It's empty. He looks around. 'Why is everything empty? It's valentines day..' Shawn thinks to himself. He tenses at the sound of something hitting the floor, he quickly turns to see nothing but a box of chocolates on the floor. "Its just Scott messing with your head Shawn." Shawn tells himself as he forces himself to turn back around and walk towards the pizza shop.

He's glad to see it open. "Oh ello, you must be one of those fighters from outta town" the owner smiles as shawn steps in. "Yeah" Shawn awkwardly answers. "Well, how can I help you?" He asks. "Just a pizza please." Shawn answers as he searches his bag for his wallet. "Spending valentines day alone I see?" The guy asks. "Something like that." Shawn mutters searching for his wallet. He grabs it and looks back up to see the pizza guy gone and a shadow watching him in the cheap pizza mirror. He turns around to see nothing, but it doesn't stop his heart from racing. "Excuse me?" The pizza guy calls. Shawn looks back to see him back. "Sorry, how much?" Shawn asks moving closer.

"12" is all the guy says. Shawn doesn't argue as he hands the money over. "You seem really spooked" guy states. "Just have asshole friends." Shawn mutters putting his wallet back. "Ah the good old bloody valentine, right?" The guy asks. Shawn looks at him with wide eyes. "Sorry?" Shawn asks. "The old myth about the hopeless romantic who kills happy couples. Had his heart broken and now seeks revenge on those on valentines day. Apparently he also goes after heartbreakers, even if they are single." Guy chuckles before walking back into the kitchen. "O..of course he does" Shawn whispers. Scott had missed that detail out.

Shawn really hated being known as the heartbreak kid right now.

"How do you think Shawn is?" Kevin asks. "God, can we not focus on him right now? I love the kid but he chose not to be here" Scott sighs. Sean sits forward, appearing between the pair as they drive. "You clearly care. You missed the story feature of the single heartbreakers being killed" Sean states. "I didnt want to scare him completely. Cmon now kid" Scott chuckles. "Seriously? This guy killed singles?" Kevin asks. "Apparently. I mean...shawns not really a hesrtbreaker so it's okay, right?" Sean asks. Scott looks at both. "Guys, it's a stupid story, a myth, a horror story. It's not real-" Scott gets cut off when Kevin slams the brakes.

All men stare as a bloody women slams her hand against the car. "What the fuck!" Sean yells. That's when a bloody man laughs and joins her. "Sorry guys!" He calls. That's when the girl starts laughing. "Shoulda seen their faces!" She laughs as they stumble off. "What the fuck? Since when was valentines the new Halloween?!" Kevin yells. "Like I said, blood sex is hot" Scott chuckles sinking into his seat. "Cmon, were nearly at the club." Scott sighs. Kevin sighs and loosens his grip on the wheel. "Yeah. Let's just hope this shit stops." Kevin mutters.

Shawn carries the pizza towards the hotel. He pauses infront of the hotel, turning his head to stare at the shadow figure watching him from the trees. "Ill kill Scott" Shawn whispers turning back. He jumps and his pizza falls. The bloodied man jolts forward catching it. "Sorry dude!" The man laughs handing Shawn the pizza. "Oh but I'm the bitch?" A bloody women chuckles leading the guy away. "What the fuck is wrong with people?" Shawn sighs rubbing his face. He walks in and moves towards the elevator. "Mr michaels!" The receptionist calls. Shawn stops and moves towards the young girl. "This was left for you, it was just left on the desk" she states handing over a heart box. "Oh thanks" he mutters placing it on the pizza box.

He safely makes his way to his hotel room. He places both boxes on his bed and begins to get ready for bed. He can't wait to rip into Scott tomorrow. That asshole. He finally settles in bed and grabs the heart shaped box. Shawn frowns and opens it only to immediately drop it. "WHAT THE FUCK!" He yells, practically slamming his back against the headboard. He stares at the heart in the box. He prays its not human. The lid reads,

Happy Valentines, my love.

"This is a sick prank" Shawn whimpers, kicking the box further away so he can get off the bed. He tenses at a knock at the door. He looks around the room before deciding on the bedside lamp. He pulls the plug out and holds it up as he moves too the door. He pulls it open and goes to swing.

A big hand grabs the end of the lamp.

"Shawn?"

"Taker!" Shawn yelps letting go of the lamp. Shawns eyes land on the black roses in his other hand. "Are you okay?" Taker asks nodding at the lamp. "No..Jesus taker. Scott told me some stupid horror story and some, who I'm hoping isn't you, weirdo has been following me since. Oh! And fuck! I've just received a heart!" Shawn rambles. "The bloody valentine story right?" Taker asks. Shawn tilts his head. "You know about it?" Shawn asks confused. "My mama loved gore and horror. She also loved the horrification of normal holidays." Taker admits. Shawn smiles slightly. "It wasn't you, right?" Shawn asks. "No...I was..um..planning a dinner, for us. If..if you'll join me" Taker admits shyly.

Shawns eyes widen. A slightly blush burning his face. "Of course...if you get rid of the heart" Shawn states, taking the flowers and lamp. "Of course" Taker chuckles moving past Shawn.

Taker pauses at the note and heart. He closes the box and looks up. He spots something and moves closer to the window, he can't help but feel worried for shawn the moment he sees the shadow figure. The figure steps into the light to reveal a red and black mask.

Taker turns to see Shawn watching him. "Whats wrong?" Shawn asks going to move closer. Taker holds his hand out, stopping the smaller man. "Stay with me tonight" Taker tells him. "Yeah I like that idea" Shawn nods. Taker pulls Shawn close. "Wanna ditch dinner and do pizza and a movie?" Taker asks, his gaze going back to the window. "Are you sure?" Shawn asks confused. "Of course, nothing better than a movie, pizza and getting to hold you close." Taker teases. Shawn chuckles. "Of course you sweet talker. Gonna keep me safe?" Shawn asks quietly. "Always." Taker murmurs leading Shawn out.

I wanted to do a twisted valentines story with a someone happy ending but I'm tired. Also I'll probably do a part two of this, just because of the fact taker 100% recognises the shadow figure and so should we. But also I just love writing horror and mixing valentines with it? Yes please.
