Genuinely crying at work rn. They have thousands of old photos (from the 50s to the 90s) they asked me to scan (so they can create a digital archive). Today I found a photo from a 80s protest with a banner that says "FOR THE PALESTINIAN CHILDREN". It's been 40 years. It has been a lot more than that, actually. And still.

A couple of days ago i felt so apathetic and thought that my hyperfixation on clone high is leaving me forever, i didn't want to rewatch the show, to see any fanart on pinterest, i marked some edits on tiktok as "not interesting", I even changed my wallpaper from clone high fanart to something else, that made me so depressed, i was like "It's over....... isn't it....."

Yesterday evening i spent inking the last pages of the third part of E!280 and listening to abandoned pools, especially the clone high intro, i replayed it like 5 times.

And you know what? WE'RE SO FUCKING BACK!!!! I feel alive again, the intro literally healed me and I want to rewatch the first season today after I come back home from college.

This fandom keeps leaving my mind and coming back for four years straight, and every time I'm reminded of clone high, i remember why I love this show so much. I've never felt such a connection with a cartoon before 🥺

It's so funny, it has cool characters, the satire, the artstyle!! I know some cartoons are objectively better (especially compared to the newer seasons), but clone high is forever in my heart and lives in my head rent-free. And I don't mind.

His parents didn't really love each other, the love being more one-sided (his mother loving his father deeply and his father just somewhat liking her), which gave him a very warped idea of how relationships “should be”, and how healthy relationships can be

He lives in a decently-sized home that his parents actually bought. They were going to sell it off but he convinced them not to so he could live in it 

He doesn't understand that people can't choose who they love. He instead believes you can change who you love, and that gives him comfort (because it lets him think he can convince his crushes to be attracted to him)

around 6 o'clock (east coast u.s. standard time) some guy from fucking australia, with no mutual friends obviously, friend- and message-requested me on facebook saying he hoped i didn't mind the add, but "you came up in my recommended and are the cutest ginger i've ever seen." and it like literally gave me chills because holy hellllll, how the FUCK did this guy find my profile? i have no public posts; i hardly ever comment on public posts; i don't post in large, active groups; etc etc etc etc so it creeped the FUCK out of me. sometimes fb puts ppl w no mutual friends in my "people you may know" but, creepily enough, they often are people i... know, if not have some sort of mutual connection with? like they might be old classmates or friends of friends creating new profiles (so no mutual friends yet), etc. and this is true for ppl who also don't have info on their profile saying they live in/near my hometown, went to my school at some point, etc. like THAT is very creepy how meta somehow knows that. but this guy from australia i am absolutely sure i have no connection to whatsoever. WHY WOULD I???? i have no connection to australia at all other than a couple of mutuals i have on here.

so anyway i took a screenshot of the message and showed it to my friends cuz i was freaking out about it and needed to get that off my chest and one friend was like "why dont you block him" (me reading that 4 hours later) and im like you know what i didnt think it was necessary but not a bad idea. and i go to check the message request and the message was unsent, and he also deleted the friend request. lmaooooo. maybe his girlfriend found his phone

“oh they’re not taking away chronological dashboard, well everything’s okay then” they also said in the post they’re making reblogs collapsed (like comments on twitter) so you won’t see the full conversation in a post. they also won’t get rid of tumblr live despite it being an annoying and cancerous data-miner that isn’t legal in much of the world. they won’t even let you opt out of tumblr live for more than seven days. they implemented a terrible photo viewer that mimics tiktok and makes it so you can’t zoom in on images. they took away the ability to view prev tags. they’re making it so you have to sign in with your email to view almost any thing on tumblr. they’ve already made it so you have to sign in to send asks, even on anon. they’re slowly phasing out custom blog themes.

the things that make tumblr at all usable and favored by us– the older web blog features, the anonymity– that is still being taken away. it HAS been being taken away for some time now. i am urging you people to reveiwbomb the tumblr app. force them to acknowledge that users do not like these changes.
