autumn of terror

the small town of oakville is being taken over by a serial killer who goes by "the ripper" who uses fear as a tactic to control the town entire. you, an out of town detective, team up with head detective of oakville kim seokjin, to take down the ripper. @sweetempathprunetree @momnomnom @darkuni63 @bangtans-momma @chimmy-licious @investedreader

The leaves crumble beneath your feet as you step onto the pavement, a chill running up your spine at how chilly it was this autumn. The breeze runs through your hair and pierces against your skin like a knife. Your breathing is evident in the harsh, cold weather and your nose automatically sniffles.
Your legs continue to walk up the shallow stairs of the building, your gloved hand grasping the door handle and pulling it open. Warm air engulfs you and you sigh in relief, rushing inside.
It’s chaotic inside said building - there’s several phones ringing nearly nonstop, people running around in a frenzy. You never seen a precinct be in such a ruckus. There’s a crowd forming inside, all of which are hollering out demands while there are several police officers attempting to hold them back.
Your eyes scan the large precinct, eyes unsure where to fall - the telephones are ringing nonstop and you notice they are several officers already speaking. Officers who are attempting to keep the crowd at bay are seconds from drawing their weapons.
“What are you doing to catch the Ripper?!”
“How many people have to die before the Ripper is caught?!”
The Ripper.
The Ripper was the reason why you were here - all the way from your own town. The Ripper has taken over the town of Oakville spanning back to the end of summer. It began with one or two murders a week - it caused mumbles in the streets of Oakville. Murders so gruesome didn’t happen in said town - blood splattering the streets and the walls, intestines sprawling outside of the body and seemingly dragged away for miles.
One or two murders a week became murders every night - each murder more gruesome and cruel than the last. It caused a frenzy throughout the town that had officers and detectives working overtime for any clues; the Ripper left none.
As Autumn creeped in, it appeared as if the Ripper’s identity had remained a secret, but that didn’t mean that the Ripper worked alone.
“Excuse me?” you clear your throat, waving your hand high to grab the attention of the officers. “I’m here to speak to Detective Kim? I’m Detective-”
“Y/L Y/N.”
There’s a door to the far right that opens and you hear the ragged voice of just the man you were looking for. Seokjin is tall and his shoulders broad - they appear to be stressed as the weight of the town depends solely on his shoulders. “Come, please.” he says, waving you over to his office. “We’ve been expecting you.”
You do as you’re asked, rushing towards the man's office where he quickly slams the door shut and locks it in case anyone from the crowd wants to follow after you.
“Coffee?” Seokjin asks - the question comes out as a sigh. You assume that he uses coffee to keep himself sane and awake. There’s slight bags underneath his eyes and you understand that he must be working overtime to figure out clues.
“Uh, yes. I’ll make it.” you nod your head, making your way towards the pot of coffee that’s on the shelves while Seokjin makes his way around to his desk. “So, what do we have so far, detective?”
“Please,” Seokjin huffs with a shake of his head. He falls onto his office chair and opens up a few documents. “You can call me Seokjin or even Jin. We’re going to be well acquainted if we’re going to be working together.”
You nod your head at him. “Yes, Jin.” you say, the little nickname sounding foreign to your tongue.
It was a month prior when you got a call from Kim Seokjin, lead detective from Oakville, a small town a few hours from your own. The man appears slightly frantic and desperate, explaining that every precinct he has called for assistance outside of his town had refused any assistance - an act you found completely cowardly. You had agreed to help him with the investigation no matter how long it took and he was grateful.
You listen to Jin speak as you pour sugar and milk into your coffee.
“Right, as you know,” Jin begins, leaning back into his chair. “the Ripper has been plaguing this town for months now. The townspeople are utterly terrified of him - them.”
“You believe the Ripper is more than one person?” you ask, blowing at your coffee.
Jin shrugs. “It’s a possibility,” he states. “Nothing is off the table. I believe the Ripper is just the head of an organization - the same gang we have around Oakvale now.”
“Explain further, please.” you sip your coffee, leaning against the wall as your eyes watch Jin.
Jin sighs. His right hand reaches up to rub at his temple.
“There’s a small gang that we are positive that operates at the Ripper’s orders. We have someone on the inside undercover.” Jin says, glancing up at you. “By his words, none of them has seen the Ripper face to face, only speaks to him over the phone or through letters and such.”
You furrow your brows. “Interesting.” you murmur. You place your cup of coffee on the shelf and cross your arms, grateful that you were beginning to warm up. “The Ripper is doing a great job at remaining anonymous.”
“Tell me about it.”  Jin scoffs. “I had one of my men go undercover nearly a month ago and has seen everything except the Ripper.”
“I see.” you hum. “What is the plan while he’s on the inside?”
“The Ripper is one hell of a killer and none of those working under him is as calculated as he is.” Jin opens up a few envelopes. “His kills are truly horrifying and demeaning and this is how he even keeps his own gang in line. They’re just as terrified of him as we are.”
Jin continues. “I’ve seen this town go from safe to completely…barbaric. Prostitution is at an all time high on the outskirts of the town and my detective tells me that some of them are forced into it. The townspeople are attempting to take matters into their own hands and have physically brought in who they assume the Ripper is.”
You believe it, the angry crowd outside were just as restless and afraid. “I take it as none of the suspects were the Ripper.”
Jin snickers with a shake of his head. “You’re catching on quick, Y/N. Can I call you by name?” he asks, and when you nod, he continues. “By what I’ve seen the Ripper can do, he would not let a few townspeople catch him. He’s truly a force of nature…a shadow.”
“You must’ve had a lot on your plate.” you take another sip of your coffee.
“Indeed I have. Detectives and officers have quit because they received threatening letters…by the Ripper.” Jin glances your way, analyzing your reaction. “I should have told you before-”
“I understand why you haven’t.” you interrupt. “I’m from out of town, Jin. I won’t be scared away by the Ripper.”
Jin exhales.  “I hope so. We need all the help we can get.” he admits, eyes glancing back down at the stack of documents. “Do you have any questions?”
“Well, for one…is there a spare room around here? I already told my captain that I won’t be returning until the Ripper is caught.”
Jin’s eyes slightly widened. You were serious about staying and helping.
“I can have a room made for you!” Jin nods his head. “I live right above the precinct, as sad as that sounds. I have basically lived here myself ever since the murders.”
“Thank you.” you nod, offering a soft smile. “My next question is, what do you think we should do to take down the Ripper? I have a few of my own.”
“Please, explain.”
“Well,” you step forward to sit across from him in the arm chair. “The Ripper doesn’t work alone. I say we take down as many of his little gang and that should be able to draw him out, right? Your detective on the inside should be able to help with that.”
Jin slowly nods his head. He places a hand on his chin.
“We start by taking down whatever businesses he has. The prostitution ring is just the beginning I’m sure. There has to be a reason why he’s doing all of this.”
“Control? He’s completely taken over the city.” Jin shakes his head once more. “My detective said there’s parties nearly every other day at a secluded location.”
You nod. “That’s what the prostitutes are far, I’m sure. Maybe there may even be…higher officials at these parties?”
Jin tilts his head. “You mean like…?”
“Officers. Politicians and more. People in high places with power.” It wouldn’t be a surprise to you that this is why the Ripper can remain as anonymous as he does.
Jin releases another exhale. He licks his lips, beady eyes blinking a few times.
“You can be right, Y/N. We’ll have to infiltrate these parties.”
“We do. If I may,” you lean forward, elbows on his desk. “do you believe we should have another insider?”
“How so?”
“Well, like me?” you tilt your head. “I’m a new face. The Ripper nor anyone working for him would know who I am.”
“Y/N,” Jin goes to shake his head. “I don’t think-”
“The closest to the Ripper’s operation are the prostitutes, are they not?”
Jin’s beady eyes widened. “Y-You want to go undercover as a prostitute? Y/N,” he releases a shaky chuckle. “that is completely dangerous.”
“I’m well aware, Jin. I’m also a trained and skilled detective, unlike the women working those spaces. I’ll be able to protect myself.”
Jin eyes you, scanning your face. “You’re serious.” he states. “I’ll never forgive myself if you were harmed, Y/N. You are only here because of me, after all.”
“We both have jobs to do, don’t we, Jin?” you tilt your head. “I’ll be safe and grab intel while I’m on the inside. I’ll be nothing but a whore to them.”
A loud knock sounds on the door and it startles both you and Jin. The door creaks open, waiting for no answer. It shuts abruptly behind the intruder.
“Y/N,” Jin stands to his feet. “This is my undercover detective. Daniel,” he nods his head to you. “This is the detective I was speaking with you about.”
“The one from out of town.” Daniel nods his head. He appears to be out-of-breath, dark hair sticking to his forehead.
“Y/N is suggesting she infiltrate, as well. As a prostitute…”
Daniel’s eyes widen and he looks at you. “I…don’t think you’d want to do this.”
You raise an eyebrow. “For the sake of the case,” you begin.
“You’ll have to sleep with one of them in order to gain access. That’s how they determine if…” Daniel sighs, a pink tint to his cheeks. “...if you’re worthy or not to work for them.”
Your mouth goes dry for a moment. Slowly, you nod your head. What else would you expect - these women were working and selling sex. “Who would I have to sleep with?”
“You’re not truly considering this?” Jin scoffs in disbelief. “Y/N-”
“How else are we going to gain access to these parties? We’ll need someone else on the inside. Once there, I’ll excuse myself and find a way to contact you and that’s how you’ll be able to bust them, no?”
Jin shakes his head. This plan was already risky - but knowing now that you’d have to give up your body so soon is something he doesn’t want for you.
“It sounds like a good idea…” Daniel murmurs. “Even I don't even know where these parties are held. Only certain members are allowed to go for security purposes.”
“You’re sure you want to do this?” Jin murmurs to you. “Sleep on it for now. Tomorrow we can speak further.”
“Jin-”
“It’s not up for debate.” Jin says. “Enough talk of this case. Are you hungry? We can grab something to eat. Daniel?”
“Right,” Daniel nods. “I was just reporting back. Tomorrow there’ll be a shipment coming in.”
Jin nods. “I’ll make sure to have officers on hand,” he says. “Thank you, Daniel.”
Daniel nods. “No problem.” he sighs. He offers you a short glance. “Detective,” he bows to you before turning on his heels and making his leave.
As the door clicks shut, Jin frowns at you. You furrow your brows. “Are you upset with me?”
“No. Just…” Jin swallows his words. “...I don’t want anyone else dying at the hands of the Ripper or his weak henchmen.”
You understood completely. What you were doing is insane - but for the sake of the case, you’d do it. You were a renowned detective that always put whatever case you had first, no matter the consequences.
“What do you prefer to eat?” Jin asks, closing a few file envelopes before rounding his desk to you. “There’s a diner not far from here we can go to?”
“Uh, yeah sure. That’ll be fine.” you nod your head, lifting yourself up from the chair. You make your way to your discarded cup of coffee and quickly down it. It’s lukewarm now and easier to drink than when it was white it was piping hot. “Let’s go. I’m sure you can fill me in on whatever details we left out.”
Tumblr media
“I often enjoy breakfast for dinner.” Jin comments, digging into the smothered pancakes, syrup daring to drip down his lips. “I basically live in my office since the Ripper appeared.”
You take a sip of your juice and nod your head. “I can imagine. The phone was ringing nonstop.”
Jin snickers. “You’re not lying. I’ve unplugged the one in my office.” he says. “The calls were all useless. Some thought they caught the Ripper while others were just demanding that we hurry up and do our jobs.”
“Is it that ludicrous to believe that they did find the Ripper?” you ask.
Jin lifts his eyes to look at you, a look of disdain. He nods his head slowly. “Of course. You believe a regular person can find someone that doesn’t want to be found?”
You scoff. “Putting it that way…”
Dinner goes by smoothly. Jin has managed to give you as much information about the Ripper as possible and your mind processes it entirely. You didn’t have an easy stomach, so going through the crime scene photos didn’t bother your stomach, but your spirit. The way these people were harmed so cruelly - dismembered and body treated with such hatred. You want to ask if the Ripper has any tie to any of these people? Surely these could not be random murders committed - not when it appeared to be so personal.
“Enough about the case.” Jin nearly has to pry away the documents from you. He closes them and places it besides him. “What about you, Y/N?”
“What about me?” you plop a piece of toast into your mouth and begin to chew.
“What made you want to become a detective?” Jin questions. “I feel like we’ll be working together for a while. The Ripper isn’t an easy target.”
“I agree.” you chuckle. “Well…I…” you swallow, unsure of where to start. The beginning is always good and Jin didn’t appear to be in any rush. “...I always wanted to help. I actually…um…”
You bring your glass of juice up to your lips and begin to chug. Talking about your past was never easy for you. You don’t cry anymore - you’re an adult that doesn't need to seek out pity. In your line of work, you’ve experienced worse as do others.
“I was given up for adoption by my biological parents and that led me with people that weren’t so kind. I wasn't with them for long until I eventually found myself with people I don’t belong with - even as a child.”
You’re being vague and you’re positive that Jin understands this.
“I had to do some horrible things just to survive. Thing’s children shouldn’t have to do.”
Jin listens, no longer eating his food. His eyes are watching you, awaiting for you to respond.
“I wasn’t alone. I was surrounded by more children…they were my,” you put your fingers up to do finger quotations. “‘siblings,’ they said. I’m too young to remember any of them but I do remember the day we were rescued.” Jin furrows his brows. “Rescued?”
You nod your head. “I remember the two of them. I remember being so scared of them. They were adults and all the adults in my life ever did hurt me and my siblings. But they didn’t. They promised to help us…and they did.”
Your mind processes your memories, the blurred faces of the children and the two saviors who freed you all from captivity. “It’s unfortunate that I’ve never seen those kids again. I’m not sure if they’re still alive to this day but,” you exhale. “I truly do hope their lives got better. I prayed that they found peace and happiness in wherever life took them.”
Jin is quiet for a moment, probably taking in everything you’ve told him. You said a lot without speaking too much of the truth, not fully ready to address the early years of your life. You contemplate if you ruined the mood as speaking of your past could do that to anyone - even you at times. But you understand that Jin didn’t mean any harm and probably wasn’t expecting your past to be that chaotic.
“I see.” Jin says. He takes hold of one of his drinks - he ordered three, a coffee, a water and fresh-squeezed orange juice - and takes a sip. “I suppose we both had different childhoods.”
You raise an eyebrow. “My mother,” Jin drops his drink and blinks at you. You notice just how intense his eyes are - dark and nearly unreadable. “was a prostitute.”
You sit straight on your side of the booth, shoulders straightening as you listen to his speak.
“I’ve seen a lot of men come and go in my life and the same men take her life. I suppose you and I are somewhat the same. I was trafficked, sold to work in factories and warehouses alongside other children and even adults paying off their debts.”
Your eyes widened slightly, your mind swirling with flashbacks of your own past life and how you and the other children you grew alongside. You swallow the lump in your throat. To think Seokjin has gone through something similar like you and also managed to not allow his past to define his future.
“My mother had a long debt and since she was gone, I had to be responsible for it. I recall only sleeping a max of two hours before we were instructed to go back to work. The amount of times we’ve almost died working in such heinous conditions.”
Jin speaks without a stutter or as much as a short break. His face remains stoic and you just wonder how much he’s been through to be so numb to it all.
“I suppose maybe that’s why the Ripper is so personal to me. He once targeted prostitutes before his reign of terror around the town had widened. The same sun that would shine bright in the sky appears to always be hidden by dark clouds.”
You can hear your heart beating so rapidly and it pounds right outside your chest. You take a deep breath to process it all.
This wasn’t going to be easy, you note. The Ripper was a sensitive subject for everyone- especially Jin. By the few hours you’ve come to know him, you realized that he worked such long hours in catching the Ripper and now you understand why. His childhood followed him into his adulthood ; working on little to no sleep, nonstop. There’s slight bags underneath his eyes, and yet he still manages to look refreshed and young.
“Thank you for telling me.” you speak after a few moments of silence.
“I should be thanking you, as well, then.” Jin smiles with a tilt of his head. It causes your body to heat up slightly - but you weren’t here to act as a giddy teenager with a growing crush. “I’m glad we’re both getting to know one another. You are going to be my partner until we catch the Ripper. I do want us to be close.”
Jin leans forward and you’re caught completely off guard. You stiffen, his eyes boring into yours only making you a bit more awkward.
“I really do appreciate you for coming here, Y/N. It isn’t safe for someone like you here.” Jin speaks truthfully. He wasn’t going to sugar coat anything for you, and for that you were grateful. “You’re putting yourself into harm's way is truly admirable.”
“It’s nothing.” you murmur, body still warm at his words - and even the tone of which he says them. “I’m not doing anything differently than you.”
“True, but,” Jin shakes his head. “Oakville is my town. You came all the way here to help us, and for that you deserved to be acknowledged.”
After all these years, you weren’t used to being praised. It always caused you to just stand awkwardly as you received them, but you cannot say that his praises didn’t cause a warmth fill throughout you.
Slightly, you nod your head. You take a gulp of your drink, needing something to cool yourself off.
“I’m surprised I haven’t scared you off yet. I was hoping I would be able to steer you away from becoming…”
“A prostitute.” you finish the word for him. Understanding Jin’s childhood with his mother, it made sense as to why he didn’t want you to go undercover as one. “I’ll do whatever it takes to help catch the Ripper, Jin. I can handle whatever is thrown towards me. I’m sure we went through the same basic training in bootcamp.”
Jin chuckles with a nod of his head. He finally leans back into the booth. “I’m positive we have.” he responds. “I don’t wish to offend you. I just want you to be careful. If you ever need a way out, please, don’t hesitate to use Daniel to your advantage.”
You nod your head. Your stomach was satiated and you were glad that you had a chance to sit and speak with Jin on a deeper level. It made working alongside him better - more trusting.
Tumblr media
Jimin was an interesting character and he made you nervous - you’re positive that he’s aware. You were expecting someone grimey and old; maybe not ancient old, but old enough to be that creepy uncle.
Jimin wasn’t old and you truly wish to ask for his actual age as it appeared he and you were around the same age. His skin is fresh and wrinkle free, almost like a porcelain doll. His lips are hydrated and plush. His face is sculpted perfectly, oval face shaped with narrowed chin and jawline. His hair is styled neatly, the silver tresses on top swooped on the right side of his head, the sides cut shorter than the top. It seemingly reflects off of the dim lights of the room you’re in.
Jimin’s eyes are what makes you the most nervous. They’re dark and they appear to be watching you closely, trailing up and down your body entirely as if looking for any imperfections. It’s hard to be confident underneath his gaze, but you had to remain as such.
You’ve been in Oakville for a week and finally managed to make it inside Jimin’s large estate. It’s cleaner than you would have imagined a brothel to be and the women are all welcoming and inviting. There’s an aura around them that shines brightly even underneath the dim lights of his estate.
Only you and Jimin stood in this large room and it appeared to be like an office. There’s a desk directly in front of a large window - it displays a beautiful scenery of woods behind it, the tree’s moving silently in the wind from the outside. The floors are hardwood and a dark mahogany that doesn’t squeak or squeal when you walk on them.
There’s several paintings on the walls, most of which are of women and some are nude, but they aren’t lewd paintings as you might expect in a brothel. They’re artistic in a way and you recall hearing many people speak highly of art such as this.
“You like them?”
Your eyes snap back to the man in front of you. He’s still seated at his desk, leaning back with his arms placed in his lap as he stares right at you. His voice is as young as he looks, soft and calm. It has a level of coolness and sensuality to it that has you realizing why someone like him could be in this line of work.
“The art,” Jimin continues, glancing at the array of artwork on his wall. “do you like them?”
Slowly, you nod your head.  “They’re amazing.” you admit.
Jimin’s lip stretches into a low grin at your response. “It was once said by Michelangelo that the skin is more beautiful than the garments in which it is clothed.”
Jimin begins to tap his fingers against his thigh, again watching you closely.
Daniel had insisted - apologize profusely, as well - that you needed to dress the part if you were going to impress Jimin. This is how you found yourself, clothed completely in white. Your stockings stop at your upper thigh, held up by a garter of the same color. Your bralette is laced and similar to your panties, a floral pattern stitched onto the fabric and hides just enough for you not to be fully exposed.
You didn’t wear lingerie and your undergarments were as basic as they come. You had gone out your way to buy some new ones when Daniel had warned you - going with white as it was the safest color for a situation such as this.
“What’s your name?” asked Jimin.
“Y/N.” you answered truthfully.
“You’re not from here.” Jimin states. It wasn’t a question. Jimin is certain that someone like you wasn’t from Oakville - he’s lived in this town for years. “Where are you from?” “Nowhere, really.” you respond. “I haven't settled anywhere for too long.”
Jimin blinks and hums, mind taking in your response.
“Why have you chosen Oakville, Y/N?” Jimin leans forward, hands placing themselves onto his desk. “Surely you’ve heard of the Ripper.”
You swallow. You had to act the part and appear slightly afraid - even if the Ripper had not frightened you.
“I have.” you nod your head. “I assume if I stay in my own lane, I wouldn’t be his next victim.”
Jimin chuckles to himself, a boyish laugh that causes his eyes to turn smaller.
“You’re right about that.” Jimin nods. “Working for me means that you’ll also be working for the Ripper. Do you know what that entails?”
That you’ll be one step closer to defeating the Ripper and stopping his reign of terror in the town of Oakville. Instead of stating that, you shake your head.
“It means you do what you are told.” Jimin stands, his chair scrubbing against the hardwood floor as he pushes his chair back.
Jimin’s taller than you expected and he rounds the corner of his desk and stalks towards you. “It means that while you work for me, Y/N…” Jimin is in front of you now, tilting his head to peer at you with dark eyes. “...you’ll do as I tell you to. Turn around.”
Your shoulders are tense but you have no choice but to turn around. If anything, you’re sure you would be able to fight off Jimin if needed be - but you couldn’t resort to that just yet. You were undercover; expected to be nothing but a prostitute in their eyes.
Your eyes are then covered by a silk fabric. It’s tied behind your head tightly and you lick your lips in nervousness.
You know what you are expected to do, you think. If Jimin was going to invest in you, he needed to test out whatever product you were selling - that only meant your body.
“Turn back around.” Jimin’s cool voice speaks to you, his hands on your shoulders to guide you around to face him.
Your mind is making up images as your eyes cannot see. Jimin removes his hands from you and takes a few steps back - you can hear his footsteps creak away, as if watching to see your reaction.
“Get on your knees.”
Jimin’s voice is farther and you are given no choice but to do as you are told. Your knees hit the cold hardwood floor, hands in your lap.
You hear the footsteps come closer again and you inhale a shaky breath as you feel warm hands on your chin. It lifts your head up as if to look at him.
“Working for me means you’ll be more privileged than any other prostitute.” Jimin words hit your heads, a thumb swiping across your bottom lip. “I want to see how good you are.”
Your heart is pounding now and your body heats up at the obvious sign of sex. You were going to have to make the first move - after all, you came to him.
Your hands reach out to touch him, finding his wrist. Your mouth opens slightly, tongue poking out to poke at his thumb. Your tongue twirls around his thumb idly, your grip on his wrist tightening.
You lightly nibble on his thumb, your thighs pushing themselves apart as you inch closer to the man. Your hand trails from his wrist to reach out until you are sure you find his thigh. It would be easier if you could see, but you would have to manage.
There’s a bulge that you finally manage to find and it causes you to gulp once more - you were actually doing this. But there was no going back now. You were one step closer to the Ripper.
Your hand caresses the bulge in his pants, squeezing it into your embrace teasingly.
“It looks like you want to taste something else.” Jimin states.
“If you’d let me.” you retort, head lifting as if looking at him in the face - you wish you could.
“If you truly wanted to, you would. I’m not stopping you.”
Your hands trail up until they feel a belt buckle. It’s leather and it takes you a few tries until you manage to unbuckle it. Your hands tremble as they go to pull down his pants, breathing increasing.
“You look so scared, Y/N. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” you respond. “It would be easier if I could see you.”
“You made the impression that you’ve done this before. Have you not?”
Jimin speaks as if he knows you’re lying and that’s not something you wanted. Your life was on the line for this and you truly didn’t want to die this soon.
You don’t respond, and instead your hands proceed to tug at the briefs he wore until they are down. Your mind has to connect the dots that you cannot see.
Your hand finds his cock, the naked flesh already hard and warm. It pulses in your grasp and your thumb circles the tip of his cock to assure you had it in your possession. Without warning, your tongue licks up the slit as if licking a lollipop. It swirls around the tip, the salty taste of precum meeting your taste buds immediately.
You wished that you would have taken something upon coming here - you knew what you would be getting into. A type of aphrodisiac of the sort so that you could enjoy yourself without the thoughts in the back of your mind.
You didn’t have time to think about your actions now, and instead wrap a hand around the base of his cock to continue sucking, your cheeks suctioning inward with each slurp. His cock is coated with saliva. You can hear him - short moans that have your ears perking at just the sound of them. You suppose it’s nice, as the sounds of his boyish moans shoot straight to your core - an act of service you indeed needed if you were going to go through this case.
Your palm begins to pump his cock, focusing more on the tip than anything. You’re sure you looked exactly like you were supposed to - exactly what they were looking for in a woman in this business.
Your slurping increases, bouncing off of the walls of the quiet room. As your slurping increases, so do the moans he releases. It comes out in short breaths, dancing through your ears as a compliment that what you were doing was indeed working.
Your hand falls onto your lap and you widen your mouth to take more of him. You pop his cock from your mouth and lick your lips - you could taste pre-cum, the salty taste bitter in your mouth. “You’re such a tease.” your ears perk when Jimin finally speaks and you cannot help but believe that you had no effect on him.
You gulp, breathing through your nose a bit. “I can’t help but believe I’m doing all the work.”
Your hair is gripped suddenly and without warning, he slides into your mouth. Your eyes widen behind the silk ribbon and you’re unable to react fully as he’s already sliding in and out of your mouth.
It’s rough, you note, and maybe your words set him off. With each thrust, it hits the back of your throat and you feel the need to gag, but you manage. Your fists clench in your lap, legs clenching together tightly for whatever friction you could get.
His moans increase, grunting and groaning with each thrust into your mouth. There’s drool dripping down your chin sloppily to match the forming tears in your eyes. The sounds that now echo across the room are filthy, suckling and gagging from you and his increased breathing.
“Ah, maybe you are a good whore, after all.” Jimin sing-songs, amused. “You’re excited, aren’t you?”
Your head is yanked back. If you could see, you would be looking up at the man now. His thrusts slow down and your mind has to connect the dots once more. You’re positive that he’s watching you, possibly admiring the way you look now; vulnerable and slutty - something a man like him would enjoy.
“I can see the way your legs clench together…” his words hit your ears once more, this time his tone is low and deeper. “...you like this, don’t you? A woman like you enjoys being treated like this…”
You cough when his cock is released from your mouth. Air finally hits your lungs and you take it all in as you’re unaware when you’d be able to process what’s coming next.
Again, you’re pushed. This time, you’re on your back and your legs and forced open. Your head crashed against the hardwood floor as hands touch and grip your skin with such greed. You’re unsure what to do and all you could do was whimper to yourself silently.
“You’re a whore, right, Y/N?” Jimin asks you. “Has anyone ever pleasured you?”
You feel pressure on your clothed clit - he was cupping it. Your stomach churns at the feeling; forbidden and dirty. You weren’t supposed to want this; you weren’t a whore. You were a detective, and for a moment you forget about the case entirely.
“No…” you respond.
“Tsk,” Jimin murmurs.
You whimper once more when you feel circular motions being rubbed onto your clit. The lacy fabric of your panties were beginning to stick to you and you feel utterly exposed to the man, now more than before.
“Take them off.” Jimin suddenly commands. There’s a slight tug at your bralette. “I want you to strip for me, Y/N. After all, I’m paying you to be here, aren’t I?” You inhale, lifting yourself up from the cold hardwood floor to do as the man asks. Your bra falls off of you and without warning, your panties are tugged off, as well, a ripping sound sounding through your ears.
“You look so scared.”
Jimin’s voice doesn’t have any concern in them. If anything, you could hear a tint of amusement. He got off by embarrassing you and other woman. To him, you were indeed a whore that needed him to succeed in life. You’ll make it your mission that he would be brought down alongside the Ripper.
“Whore’s usually…” you are pushed down against the floor once more. “...pretend they're with another man while doing this. Who are you pretending you’re with?”
Your mind flashes for a moment, seeing Seokjin. His dark eyes shining with concern at not wanting you to be here. He was kind, truly, and it hurts to think that he showed more concern for your safety than you had from your own.
“Tell me.” Jimin speaks again. “What’s his name? Is he a childhood friend? A former lover?”
“Jin.” you murmur, defeated.
Jin was the first man that came to mind - if you were going to pretend you were with anyone, it could possibly be him. Back home, you devoted yourself to your cases. You worked alongside mostly women. There wasn’t any man in your life that you could think of in a moment such as this - besides Seokjin.
You haven’t known Jin long, but seeing as your relationship with most men were close to nothing, he was the top candidate. While you’ve been in Oakville for such a small amount of time, he was determined to keep you out of harm's way. He had given you a room in his home that also had its own bathroom for privacy purposes. He had allowed you to take over smaller cases that involved the Ripper’s henchmen and had treated you with respect - like an actual equal. He hadn’t been a typical man who would use their authority over you and for that, you were grateful of him.
Your skin prickles with goosebumps as a shiver runs down your spine.
“Jin…” Jimin says, the name trailing off his tongue. “Jin…who is Jin?”
You don’t give a response and after a few moments, he doesn’t care to hear one. His hands are upon your body once more and it causes you to flinch. His hands are softer than what you expected and they grip and tug on your naked flesh.
Your breath hitches when those soft hands grip at your breast, pads of his thumbs pressing against your erect nipples.
Your thighs are forced apart and you can feel him between you - you assume his own thigh right where your heat is at. He presses it ever so gently against your clit, his palms squeezing your breast.
Maybe if you imagined it was Jin then things would be a bit better - you wouldn’t get too far into your head about what you were doing. You didn’t technically see Jin in a sexual light before; of course you’d admit that he was attractive. But whatever attraction your eyes enjoyed would not allow you to ruin what you were here for - not until now.
You gasp when a warm sensation runs through the skin of your neck - slimy and wet. You notice it immediately being his tongue. It swirls at the nape of your neck before trailing down towards your collarbone. He presses his clothed thigh harder against your clit, his left hand removing itself from your breast to place it onto your hip. He doesn’t speak and instead attempts to guide you.
He wanted you to rub yourself against him as if the moment wasn’t embarrassing enough. You do without a fuss, your eyes closed (even if they were bound by the ribbon) and imagining a kinder man that wasn’t Jimin.
Your hips buckle, rubbing yourself against his thigh. His tongue runs lower and lower. It’s right between your breasts now. The coolness of the large office causes your skin to shiver once more, body heating up.
There’s a groan from him. His left hand leaves your hip to then grasp your breast once more. This time, his tongue is connected to your hardened nipple and hungrily he suckles onto it. His right hand begins to pinch your other nipple with his index and thumb, tugging and pulling onto it.
You swallow back a moan, unable to control the way your body feels about receiving pleasure. You clench around nothing as you glide your clit against his thigh, all the way he continues to suckle slopping onto your breast.
He seems to be insatiable, moving onto your next breast to suck just as needily onto it as he did the first one. He now forces his thigh hard against you, right hand slapping your hips to grind even more.
You sigh, a shaky moan coming from your throat that has you embarrassed by how much you liked this. You know when it was all over that you would have a hard time looking at yourself in the mirror, but you were also aware of what you were getting yourself into.
Don’t think of Jimin, think of Jin, you tell yourself.
And as your mind thinks of the tall man with broad shoulders with such kind eyes, it makes it easier for you to touch him. Your hand places itself onto the back of his head, soft tresses greeting you. Your back arches slightly towards him and with that, you feel both of his arms engulf you entirely. His lips release your swollen nipple with a low pop and you can now feel his lips, so plump, press against your neck once more.
His teeth sink into your neck, biting down harshly - possessively. In reaction, you yelp, holding onto the back of his head for support. You can hear him breathing so intensely, getting into the moment just as you were.
“Ah-”
His hands are large, you note, ranking down your naked back as he pushed himself against you. Your thighs now cage his waist between your legs and you can feel how excited he is, a hardened bulge pressing right against your clit.
His tongue reappears, swiping over the spot he bit at, determined to leave a mark upon you no doubt. Just like before, his tongue makes its way down your collarbone, his head lowering. He goes past your breast before it stops at your stomach. This time, his lips press a kiss by your belly button.
This felt far too intimate and the part of you that knew that this wasn’t Jin was left confused - did Jimin do this with all the women he slept with? Was he always so intimate and sensual?
But in order to not be grossed out by the scenario, you pretend it’s Jin, and the thought causes you to relax. You give into the kisses, mouth opening slightly to allow a low moan to be heard.
His kisses trail further, kissing your abdomen and it’s then you realize that he was going to be right between your legs. Your body is already hot while in the moment, heat radiating off of your skin like a furnace in the cool room. A part of you wanted to see him, but the other part didn’t want to ruin the fantasy.
He presses a kiss directly onto your clit. Your thighs quiver at the sudden action, inhaling a breath. He presses a few more kisses before his tongue licks a stripe up your slit. Your back arches once more at the foreign feeling. His tongue is so warm - warmer than it felt against your skin.
He continues to lick between your folds, both hands forcing your thighs apart so that you’re unmoving. You don’t hide how good it feels - especially since your mind is connecting pieces that aren’t there. Your mind displayed images of Jin between your legs, ravishing you so hungrily; similar to the way he appeared at the dinner. His dark eyes would look up at you, watching the way you came undone on his tongue for him.
Your hand tangles into his soft hair, hips buckling to feel more of his tongue - and it’s as if he gives you exactly what you want from him. His tongue lays flat against your clit, allowing you to take a bit of control of your own pleasure.
With your free hand, you grasp your breast in a semi-tight hold. Your lips get caught into your teeth in an attempt to not be too loud.
There’s a slap onto your thigh and without much warning, your legs are pushed farther apart. They are brough upwards to your shoulders - a position you weren’t aware you could be put in - and he takes back his control. His tongue suckles onto your clit sloppily, his head weaving back and forth with such speed.
Your groans increase higher and maybe that was his plan all along, to hear how good he’s making you. His wet suckling along with your cries soon echoes off of the walls, a filthy sound entirely.
Your mind flashes again, with Jin’s tongue buried so deep onto your pussy that it causes your skin to litter with goosebumps again, your pussy clenching around nothing.
“Ah…!” you shriek, genuinely surprised with the sudden pressure inside of you.
He never gives any warnings. His fingers enter you whole, pumping greedily inside of you - he wants more. More moaning and groaning, more arousal to pool onto his tongue.
More.
Your pussy is tight as it clenches around him and your thighs are quivering once more with pleasure, but he doesn’t allow you scurry away from him. His fingers are so long and they fuck into you with such experience, hitting spots you never knew existed.
You're humiliated with the squelching sounds your pussy makes, an obvious sign of how much you enjoyed it all - his tongue lapping between your folds causes severe overstimulation.
Your eyes squeeze shut harder, hips jerking. You’re breathing intensifies, your body appearing so much lighter than before. You can feel the slick pooling out of you.
“I-I can’t…” you try to speak, but it doesn’t go anywhere. You’re trembling with pleasure right now, and your mind can only display images of Seokjin fingers curling inside of you. He stares at you with those dark eyes that tell you to cum all over him without having to utter a single word.
“...gonna…cum…” your hand reaches out to push the man away when the feeling comes - a sudden urge to let loose. It’s not something you’ve ever truly felt before and you were frightened by what it  was.
The man doesn’t move as you expected. He removes his tongue from you and replaces it with his tongue instead, fingers drilling inside of you while his thumb rubs harshly against your clit.
Your toes curl, your hand holding onto his soft locs in need as the feeling grows closer and closer. You don’t realize that there’s tears forming until they slide past the silk ribbon and onto your cheeks.
“P-Please…” you plead, sounding utterly pathetic. Your head dips back and you let the pleasure consume you entirely, pooling out all at once with a humiliating splash that hits against the floor. It sounds like water spilling, a disgusting sound as this was your first time experiencing anything like this.
You fall back against the floor, chest rising and falling. Slowly, you feel his fingers leave you and you feel so empty with them. Your legs shake, pussy clenching and unclenching. You've never experienced such a thing, your body enduring the aftermath of such an orgasm that has you feeling dirty.
Your body is being pulled once more, a sign that the man wasn’t done with you just yet. You are handled like a doll, legs forced apart once more.
There’s another sensation against your clit - it’s already so wet that when it rubs against you, it squelches.
You knew it was time for him to fuck you - the tip of his cock inching closer and closer to your entrance.
You’re more willing now, widening your legs. You are still seeing Jin in your mind and imagine that it is him. When he enters his cock inside of you, you gasp, back arching from the ground once more.
He enters you deep, allowing you to adjust to his size. You cannot help but groan, your hands reaching out to touch his wrists. His own hands dig into the naked flesh of your hips and for the first time in a while you hear his own groan.
Your breast bounces as he begins to thrust inside of you. He lifts your lower body up from the floor a bit to get a deeper entrance. He isn’t quiet in the slightest. With each deep thrust, there’s a groan after it.
You are positive that you aren’t meant to last long - not with the amount of pleasure you experienced in such a short amount of time. You’re so full of him, his cock ramming into you so fast and deep that you don’t have a time to react to it.
Your hands trail from his wrist to his arms, holding on for support. Your moans dance along with his and you cannot help but want to be closer to the man. You initiate the embrace first, lifting yourself up from the ground to wrap your arms around his neck.
The act causes the man to fuck you ever harder, hands gliding from your hips to wrap you in his own embrace.
His shoulders are so broad, you note, and you rub onto them needily. Maybe it was the sex blinding you from the fact that this wasn’t Jin as Jimin didn’t have the same body - but the ribbon causes you to imagine that it was. It’s what has you moaning and begging him for more.
The ribbon blocking your sight is what has you licking onto his own skin hungrily as he fucks into you so good. It’s what has you buckling your own hips to meet his thrusts.
Your lack of sight of Jimin has you seeing Jin in your mind, and it causes your lips to meet his plump ones that are coated in your arousal. Your hands grip onto his hair as your tongue dances with his, your pussy clenching so tight around him that neither of you want to stop now.
You wonder what he sees. Maybe a girl once shy, turned so aroused that she’s pleading for more. She’s leaking all over the place, soft moans growing higher and higher until she’s nearly screaming.
He gives you exactly what you want him to, fucking into you with a stamina so great that it has you cumming all over him again, more hot tears streaming down your face pathetically.
He doesn’t last too long, either. His thrust becomes sloppy and he’s grunting into your ear so melodically. He manages to pull out of you, cumming right onto your stomach - it’s hot and the amount is alarming, but you allow it, your mind seeing Seokjin, so fucked out and full of lust that you are completely content with being used by someone that wasn’t him.

“Y/N…I wasn’t expecting to see you so soon.”
It’s been another week since you’ve last seen Jin.
Daniel nods his head before closing the door to his office.
Jin places whatever documents he’s going through down onto his desk and rounds it to come closer to you.
“Jin. Hello.” you greet him, nodding your head. “Mind if I have some coffee?”
“You don’t have to ask.” Jin snorts and nods his head yes. “How are you?”
You’ve adapted in Jimin’s mansion and had gotten your own room. It was luxurious and completely your own.
After the day with Jimin, you were told to keep the ribbon on until he specifically told you to take it off.
Looking Jimin in the eye was easier than you expected. He didn’t appear different or smug after having just fucked you. You assumed it was because he was accustomed to it already.
Looking Jin in the eye a week later is what frightens you.
“Y/N.”
“S-Sorry.” you had poured coffee onto the counters. You grab several napkins to clean it up, blinking away the thoughts.
“You seem so shaken up.” Jin places a hand onto your shoulder to grasp your attention. “Do you need me to find you a way out-”
“No.” you shake your head, turning to look at him. You swallow when you look into his eyes - the same dark eyes you’ve seen in your mind constantly.
“You don’t look good, Y/N. Is everything…alright?” Jin doesn’t want to dig deeper into what you’ve gone through the past week, unsure of where he should inject himself. “I don’t want you to get too deep into something that isn’t for you.”
You offer Jin a short smile.
“I’m…not a prostitute.” you murmur to Jin who nods - he knows that. Whatever you had to do while undercover was just that. He would never label you as such.
“Jimin…he keeps me around as his maid. So he says.” you admit. “Said I was…too good…to be a prostitute.”
Your body burns now with even more embarrassment. Jin’s ears are red and he nods his head. “I’m glad.” Jin admits, a part of him content that you wouldn’t have to be selling yourself for the sake of the case. He isn’t sure how to put what he feels into words at times, you note. “I just want you to be safe, Y/N.”
You continue to clean up your mess, your mind racing.
You were a detective - you’ve managed and solved several cases. You’ve gone undercover countless times.
And yet…
This was the straw that broke the camel's back?
You didn’t want things to be awkward between you and Jin as you still had a job to do at the end of the day. Yet, it was difficult being around him when you had to have him on your mind in order to sleep a little better at night; in order to not feel so shitty about yourself.
“I’m able to handle myself, Jin.” you murmur, pouring a few sugar packets into your coffee and grabbing a little straw to stir it. “Jimin doesn’t suspect that I’m nothing but a whore.”
“A maid.” Jin corrects, knitting his brows.
“Right.” you scoff. “A maid. There’s going to be a gathering this weekend at the mansion. I was told that several high-ranking individuals would be attending.”
Jin nods his head slowly as he processes the information.
“I don’t think the Ripper would be there, however.” you admit, taking a sip of your coffee and humming when it hits your throat. “He appears to be…an entity. People speak of him but no one’s ever seen him. I’ve asked a few women who work for Jimin-”
“Y/N, you have to be careful!” Jin interjects. “You’re the new girl there who managed to be a maid instead of a prostitute. You don’t think women are pining for your position?”
Your eyes connect with his and instantly, your mind replays you the events of the week prior - how content you felt being with him even if it wasn’t with him.
You take a deep breath before nodding your head. “You’re right.” you murmur. “I’ll be more careful.
Jin stands straighter. “Thank you.” he responds. “I do appreciate your dedication, Y/N. I don’t want to be so hard on you.”
You take another sip of your coffee after blowing on it a few times. “I can handle whatever you throw at me, Jin. I’ve worked alongside harsher men.” you place your cup back onto the counter and lean against it with crossed arms. “Back to the gathering. It’s being held in a neighboring town instead of Oakville.”
Jin furrows his brows. “Oh?”
“Yes.” you nod. “They never have any form of gatherings in Oakville incase of…you know, you.” you slowly grin his way. “Having so many people come to a small town suddenly raises questions that they don’t want to answer.”
Jin returns your grin - an act that causes the hairs on your arm to raise.
“Uh...I’ll give Daniel the details when I get them.” you avert your eyes to the ground. “I’m sure we can get the neighboring town police force in on what is happening and go forward with the raid that way?”
Jin nods his head. Without warning, he places a hand on your head. He pats it, almost as if he was patting a small child's head. Your head slowly turns toward him for answers. “Good job.” he chuckles, a twinkle in his eye. “I have to admit having you on the team has made my life a lot easier. No one has such great ideas as you do.”
Your heart begins to pump faster and mentally, you’re screaming at yourself to stop acting like such a pathetic little girl with a growing crush. This was nothing but an attraction for your lack of love and (former) sexual life. Maybe you craved attention you never got - not even as a child - so any form of it was making you weak.
Jin’s hand slowly slides from the top of your head down to your cheek. Your skin is even hotter, unaware of what to do in this situation.
“I’m always here, Y/N. If you ever need anything.” Jin assures, years ears perking at the sound of his voice that any background noise seemingly dies down. “Just ask and I’ll do my best to deliver.”
Your lips part and a shaky breath releases. You begin to nod your head at his words, swallowing down a gulp. His eyes are so intense and you couldn’t truly read them. They scan your face for any form of reaction, possibly reading right through the facade you’re attempting to put up.
“I want you to be safe, as well.” you testified, your hand placing over his - still resting on your cheek lazily. “You can call upon me, as well. If you need me to do anything while on the inside.
“Let’s catch the Ripper.” Jin hums, that familiar twinkle in his eye returning once hearing your words.
Tumblr media
“Is this a gathering for important people?” you ask as you fix Jimin’s tie, your eyes fixed on the piece of fabric. “Or do you usually dress this way for them?”
Jimin’s attire has always been up to par, you’d admit. The suits he adorned were always tailored to fit him perfectly. You were advised to hand-wash his clothing and let them air dry before ironing them just the way he showed you how as he was specific about how he wanted his clothing to present him.
Jimin tilts his head just as you were done with his tie. “Is this your way of flirting with me?” he teases, a smirk forming onto his lips.
You take a deep breath and put on a smile that wouldn’t reach your eyes. You’d play nice for now for the case. You lightly tap his chest as that was the only response you were willing to give.
“It’s a gathering, yes. But also a meeting.” Jimin speaks, strolling towards a small, rectangular box in his bedroom and opening it. It’s where he kept most of his expensive watches. “We have a lot to discuss, Y/N.”
A meeting? Your mind racks through different ideas and possibilities - would the RIpper be at this meeting? Of course not, you think, most of his henchmen never even saw him in person and surely would not start now.
“You’ve been with me long enough to know the struggles we are facing, I assume.” Jimin places his watch onto his wrist as he speaks. “Our men are being arrested. Prostitutes not doing what I am paying them to.” he shakes his head. “It’s so hard to find decent help.”
You want to boast that you were the reason that the men in their “gang” were being arrested - thanks to you and Daniel. You had given information to Jin about whereabouts; when shipments would be coming and days where they would be causing havoc before it happened.
Prostitutes were escaping - also thanks to you - this lifestyle. Majority of them were young and had never spoken to anyone with positivity who encouraged them to be better. It wasn’t an easy task to do and you still had hundreds of women to speak with, but you were determined to do just that.
“I’m sorry to hear that.” you tell Jimin, lying through your teeth. “I wish there was something I could do to help.”
Jimin’s eyes flicker to you when you respond. He hums. “There is.” he says. “Just do as you’re told.”
You nod your head slowly, licking your lips.
The journey to your destination wasn’t a long one, only about an hour. You arrived alongside Jimin and a few men while the other remaining prostitutes arrived separately. You were surprised to find that the gathering would be held in what appears to be a theater. The inside is clean and pristine with high ceilings with such amazing white lighting that shines down on the bodies surrounding you. There’s rows upon rows of seating available, even ones upstairs in booths. The stage is right at the center, tall and grand and you ponder just how many theater performances have been right here.
“You,” Jimin catches your attention, placing a hand at the low of your back. “represent me, Y/N.”
You understood as such when Jimin had chosen your clothing - a dress that is entirely too long that you often find yourself nearly tripping if you weren’t so quick on your feet. It’s a dark maroon color to match that of his suit and for some odd reason, you adorn a corset that was tied by Jimin himself to shape your figure, it’s laced and tied behind your back.
“You’ll be serving us tonight.” Jimin begins to steer you away and into a room to the right. It’s a bar area where rows of drinks are set up ready to be served. “Just make sure people’s cups are full. Easy enough for you?”
You nod once more, eyeing the cups. You assume they’re wine mixed with more - something to have the girls and whatever attending this gathering be more loose. You cringe at the thought.
The night drags on and you do as you’re told, serving people as they mingle. You shouldn’t be surprised to see familiar faces - officers from other neighboring towns, high police officials and politicians alongside mayors. They all funded the Ripper - you’re unsure as to why but that didn’t stop you from collecting the desired intel needed. You had their faces and names locked deep in your mind, the case only growing larger.
Your eyes catch Daneil from across the theater. He’s sipping his own drink, looking around the same as you are. You ponder if he notices anyone familiar or something off about those who are attending.
The theater is loud with chatter and laughter, prostitutes being seated in the laps of powerful men. You take another deep breath.
“Excuse me,”
There’s a loud voice - Jimin’s - followed by clapping. He strolls onto the stage and makes a grand entrance that has you rolling your eyes.
“Y/N, please serve our guest the specialty wine of the night.”
You stand a little straighter as Jimin calls for you. You go into the backroom to find the wine he was speaking of. It’s a dark color of crimson on a medium sized silver platter. It took you longer than you desired, especially with the waiting eyes of the attendee’s around you, but once the last glass was full, you scurried off to the side.
“Thank you all for coming.” Jimin begins, his clapping together. “It’s been too long since we have been together. Just like old times.”
There’s a few murmurings of agreement.
“As you know, however, there's been a slight…inconvenience to our operation.” Jimin’s tone lowers and you assume he’s speaking of several of his men being arrested and the police force - that’s not involved with the Ripper - was zoning in on them.
“It’s nothing we cannot handle, surely.”
You turn to the sound of the voice - an officer. Maybe this is why they’ve never been caught before. Having officers on the inside was a smart move from such a sick man like the Ripper.
“As I thought.” Jimin nods. “However, we’re also losing our girls. With these men being arrested and charged every other day and whore’s leaving…”
You lick your lips, scoffing to yourself. This is what the gathering was about - trying to find ways to stop the decline of their operation?
“I have a shipment coming from out of the country.”
A shipment from out of the country…?
You gasp to yourself at the statement. The man was a mayor not from Oakville, but elsewhere. They were trafficking girls from outside the country - how they managed to do a thing, you’re unsure. The thought makes your skin crawl, your mind flashing of your past and what you had to endure alongside your “siblings”.
“That’ll help.” another member of this cult - because this couldn’t be anything but - has said. He has a girl seated in his lap as he speaks, his hand rubbing onto her thigh.
“It’ll help. But,” Jimin appears stoic. His eyes glance around the room as if in search of someone. “Let’s raise our glass and drink to the Brotherhood.”
As you expected. This was some sort of sick cult of elitists. The Ripper wasn’t the only sick individual as he was surrounded by much more.
“To the Brotherhood.” the surrounded men all state in unison. Your eyes meet Daniel’s once more and not that he had not lifted his cup to drink anything.
What comes next is what shocks you. As the men all take their drinks, it’s followed by sudden screeching. Chao’s ensues and you could only watch in horror as things began to go haywire.
Coughing and gagging are heard, followed by the screams of the prostitutes who all scurry away and surrounding one another. Several men fell to their knees and began to vomit their guts out, blood pooling from their noses.
“W-What-”
“There has been a traitor among us…”
That voice is different. It’s not Jimin’s, you note. It comes directly behind you all and it takes everything in you to not freeze in your stature.
A man, tall and covered from head to toe in dark clothing. His trenchcoat is black and leather and sways behind him as he trails down the carpeted stairs to reach the stage. He’s sporting a mask that covers his face entirely. It’s ghostly and adorns an expressionless expression.
“One of you,” the man says, coming even closer. “has betrayed me.”
It happens entirely too fast. He lunges at the prostitutes, a large dagger in his hand and manages to stab one directly in the heart. The other’s scream, crying to get away from his attack - but none of them manage.
It’s a shocking sight to behold - the men are slowly dying, obviously poisoned…by you.
You feel sick to your stomach having been a part of such a sick set up.
The Ripper is here.
The Ripper is here.
Your eyes blink several times, as if trying to comprehend what you’re witnessing is true. He is so brutal in the way he murders the prostitutes without a care. They’re thrown around like ragdolls, being, blood seeping from such quick attacks upon their skin.
Your mind is racing, eyes darting all around the room. It was pure chaos - utter havoc. The screams only grow louder and louder.
“S-Stop!”
You found your voice, going to screech as loud as you can to grab the attention of the man. Your heart nearly stops when, ever so slowly, he turns towards you, knife raised. Crimson blood seeps off of it and drops onto the carpet.
You swallow, taking a step back when the man stalks towards you.
You’re unsure what you imagined yourself doing in a situation such as this, never truly expecting to be in it. You thought of ways of figuring out who the Ripper was and what you’d do if you ever came face to face with him - but now you appeared to cower.
You had witnessed a massacre right before your eyes. You were a part of it, having served these same people with poison.
“Y/N, what did I say earlier?” Jimin’s voice rings through your ears and before you could process anything, you’re being pushed harshly onto the ground. Your head nearly crashes against it but you catch yourself. “Just do as you’re told.”
You exhale a frightening breath, eyes slowly looking upwards at the man, knife clenches in his gloved hand. He’s looking down at you, almost as if waiting for you to react.
You weren’t a prostitute or a maid.
You were a detective.
You have trained for years to be where you were at.
You had come to Oakville to bring down such a horrid person - you couldn’t just lay here and cower.
It takes far more strength than expected, but neither of the two men - the Ripper and Jimin - were expecting you to react so quickly, or at all. You attack the man's legs, bringing him to the ground with you in an attempt to get the knife out of his hand.
Your hair is being pulled, yanked harshly. Your eyes clenched shut and your hands immediately clasp onto your hair. You can feel your body being dragged against the carpeted floor.
Your heart thumps, pounding into your ears. You couldn’t contain the low grunts coming from your lips, pain shooting throughout your body as you continue to be dragged so violently by the Ripper.
“Now why shouldn’t you be killed for your actions, Y/N?”
Jimin’s voice oozes with disappointment, like a superior upset with their students' actions as he steps off of the stage.
You were finally released and pushed aside roughly. Your head throbs but you whip it around to look at the tall man. You cannot see his eyes and they appear to be pitch black holes of nothingness staring right back at you.
Daniel is looking between Jimin and the Ripper, his own heart thumping in his chest and he’s visibly trembling. This is his first time meeting the man in person. He was stunned at the sudden appearance of the murderer slaining people in plain sight - only when you were in trouble did he snap back to reality. “S-Sir!” he speaks forward, stepping closer to where you three stood. “I-I can take her back to the-”
“Get the fuck out.”
You don’t blame Daniel for being terrified and you could only be upset with yourself if this is how you did die. You could only hope that Daniel wouldn’t meet the same fate.
Your chest heaves, your eyes fixed on the Ripper who seemingly is staring right back at you.
Daniel’s mouth shut once he heard Jimin’s stern tone. His eyes flicker to you onto the ground, trying your best not to cower away, but even he was frightened of what would happen to you if he left.
“Are you deaf or stupid?” Jimin snorts, shaking his head a bit. “Get the fuck out! Wait for us outside.”
You can hear footsteps scurrying away, going farther and farther, and yet your eyes never leave the ghoulish mask of the Ripper.
Jin, if you managed to make it out alive, was surely going to be upset with you. You had managed to come face to face with someone so heinous - and piss them off to the point that it might just lead you to your death.
“She’s a feisty one. I like her.” Jimin is leaning against the stage with his arms crossed. “She’s different….not a whore in the slightest.”
You swallow, your eyes remaining on the dark sockets of his mask. You didn’t want to give yourself away or appear suspicious.
What did Jimin mean that you weren’t a whore in the slightest? Did he know who you were - no. He couldn’t have. He would have gotten rid of you if he did.
Still, why keep you around if he knows you weren’t a part of this world? Just what was he planning on doing?
“What say you, Y/N?”
“Are you going to kill me?”
You didn’t waste any time. If you were going to die here, you’d make sure you had the chance to fight back.
“If he wanted you dead, you’d be dead already.” Jimin looks bored as this was not entertaining in the slightest. You and he stared at one another, as if daring the other to strike first - no one had. “You look determined to survive. How about this…we all love a little game.”
Your first clench at your sides. You weren’t in the mood to be toyed with - especially not when you’re at such a disadvantage.
“You make it out of here alive, Y/N…we pretend none of this ever happened, yeah?”
For the first time in who knows how long, you glanced at Jimin, the Ripper in the corner of your eye becoming a blurred figure.
“I’ll be making my leave…”
Jimin begins to stroll away, a strut in his walk.
“W-Wait!” you call, looking back at the Ripper. “Where are you-”
“I’m not going to be here. If you want to live, you’ll escape yourself. You know where to find me if you survive.”
You let out a low gasp as his footsteps clogged your mind, his words replaying over and over  - and over again. Your eyes slowly turn back to the tall man a few feet away from you. It’s eerily silent, only the theater door opening and closing behind Jimin.
You were powerless and had not a weapon on you. Your mind races of ways to survive this. You were positive that if he didn’t want you dead then, by now he surely did.
You barely have a second to process when he suddenly lunges at you. You throw yourself to the side and manage to get onto your feet.
Your dress is entirely too long to function properly and you ponder if this was Jimin’s initial intention.
Your hands scrunch up the dress so you could run freely.
He’s swinging the knife as it slices the air close to you. You continue to dodge, finding that this would be the easiest option instead of trying to attack the man head on.
“You’re a coward!”
You hiss at the man after managing to dodge another attack, this time it slices at your side and fortunately slices the dress and not your skin.
“Attacking women because you cannot take on a man!”
Maybe it wasn’t smart to taunt someone hellbent on killing you - and if not killing you, at least hurting you. However, you weren’t going to give him the satisfaction that you were frightened to your core at the disadvantage.
“I know men like you.  I’ve dealt with men like you.”
You round a corner, a beam separating you and him. His attack stops and you’re met with his eyeless stare.
“Weak.” you spit, your hands clutching onto your dress for support. “You take your pathetic anger out on innocent women simply because your life is miserable. Were you rejected…maybe…”
Your breathing increases, determined to stay alive.
“...Mommy issues?”
The man attacks again, this time dropping his knife to come at you full force. You should have expected it and could only blame yourself when both of his gloved hands crashed onto your face. You’re forced backwards until your back hits against a wall.
Your hands punch along his chest - it’s broad, you note, a thought that he was a man of either great strength or smart enough to wear protection beneath his clothing.
You weren’t doing any damage to him and he gave you little room to do so. His body pressed against yours. Your face throbs beneath his clenching hands.
You wheeze when you’re pushed away, back slamming against the wall once more. Without warning, you’re turned around, your cheek now pressed to the cold, theater wall and his right hand clasp around your neck.
Your hand reaches back to attack him once more, an attempt to claw at him to release you.
No man should have strength like this - this was inhumane.
“Let…me…go…”
It was getting hard to breathe.
Your body tenses up when you feel him press up against you sickly, your mind going to the darkest possibilities of what he was going to do to you if you didn’t escape him.
“...fight me like a-”
His gloved hand reaches upward to clasp against your mouth while his free one grasps your waist harshly. You’re pulled from the wall and suddenly, slammed onto the ground. Your head crashes against the carpeted floor and before you could react, you feel pressure on top of you.
There’s a knife pointed to your throat, dangerously close. You can feel the cool tip prepared to slice against your skin.
“Hurry up and kill me.”
You weren’t going to give him what he wanted. It’s obvious that he wanted you to cower before him and beg for your life - but you weren’t.
If you were going to die, then so be it. But you would not feed into his ego.
The man tilts his head, eyeless sockets staring right at you.
The man comes closer to you, his masked face inches from yours.
You swallow, remaining whatever eye contact you could.
The knife pinches your skin a bit, trailing from your neck to your collarbone. It stings -  but not the way you thought it would have. It feels more like a papercut slicing through delicate skin.
It pierces through the fabric of your dress, slicing ever so slowly - as if  to taunt you. Your lower half is constricted, but your arms are free.
“Get off-” you hiss, your hands balling into fists and you throw a harsh jab at the masked cheek. It was just the amount of reaction you needed to kick him away from you, freeing yourself from beneath you.
You begin to crawl backwards, your eyes not leaving his figure as you struggle to get to your feet. Your breathing has increased tremendously. “Fuck you!” you spit, stumbling further away from him. You needed to grab a weapon - any weapon.
As you were rushing away to find said weapon, the masked man lifts himself up, knife gleaming in the lowlights of the theater.
You’re behind the bar now, grasping the largest bottle of alcohol you could find and hurling it at him, then another. The third bottle you grasps you slam against the large bar island, the sharp now being used as your own weapon. The excess alcohol splashes against you, but you don’t move your eyes from his.
You duck just as the man attacks, the knife swiping right above your head and with instinct, you thrust your own weapon towards him.
“Ah-!” you swing it once more and with each swing, the man dodges it. “Get,” swing. “away,” swing. “from me!” you scream, swinging once more, but the Ripper’s glove hand catches your wrist.
Your free hand is quick, however, grasping the nearest bottle and smashing it against the man's head.
The Ripper stumbles back, the alcohol shattering and the liquid staining his clothes.
You know well enough that the attack would only stun him, not fully halt him. You toss another, this one hitting him directly in his masked face.
Your eyes move around with great speed, wondering what you could do next - what weapon could be used upon him to save your life and the life of others.
Your eyes catch them, the small, square box of matches.
You swallow, your body moving before your brain could fully process what you were doing.  Your hands are slippery as you grasp them, but you knew exactly what you were going to do.
You struck the match, the small flame illuminating against your face. Your eyes meet the Rippers eyeless ones and you tilt your head.
“I won’t allow you to kill anymore people.” you say to him, almost as if he would care what you would say to him.
You fling the match and, almost as in slow motion, does it fall onto the pile of alcohol behind the bar and directly in front of him.
The flames spark immediately and you attempt to make this your exit. You had no idea how long you’d have, especially with the flames growing larger and larger, but you understood that you had to make your way out somehow.
You’re positive that Jimin is long gone, having no hope of you ever making your way out alive.
The fire spread rapidly and quicker than expected was the entire scenery full of smoke. Your eyes begin to water and your throat clog up. All your ears could hear were the cracking of the flames surrounding you, unsure if this was your final moment alongside the Ripper - and if it truly was, then you couldn’t be upset with yourself.
You promised that you would stop the Ripper - that his reign in Oakville would come to an end. You promised Seokjin that his once quiet and safe town would return to just that, not realizing that your life would also be a part of that promise.
Tumblr media
“What the fuck were you thinking?”
Your chest felt heavy, as if someone was seated right on top of you. Your head is pounding, an increasing pain at all angles that even with your eyes closed, it feels as if the room is spinning.
You were trying so desperately to open your eyes - to see what the fuck was going on like the voice was speaking.
“Y/N?”
Y/N.
Y/N.
The voice appears far away, like a distant echo. You recognize the voice - Seokjin.
Where were you?
Where was he?
Why was everything so dark?
Seokjin presses a hand to your shoulder, squeezing it gently as your eyes begin to flutter open, completely glossy and dazed. The oxygen mask clings onto you, assisting in your breathing.
“You’re finally awake.” Jin sighs, closing his eyes for a few moments. “Can you hear me, Y/N?”
You cough, as expected, and Jin waits for you for him to continue.
“Jin…” you cough once more, your eyes wandering around to where you were at. “...how-”
“Are you fucking insane, Y/N?!” Jin hisses, his once soft eyes now enraged. “I had to hear from Daniel that you came face to face with the Ripper?!”
Daniel.
Jimin.
The Ripper.
Your mind swirls with what happened. Where was Jimin? Had the Ripper survived the fire since you had - did he manage to escape?
“Jin.” you begin to lift yourself up from the bed and Jin shakes his head. “I-”
“You are not capable of going anywhere, Y/N! You’ve literally survived a fire!” Jin nearly screams.
“Where is he?” your throat is aching, but you had to know what was going on. “Where’s Jimin-”
“Gone.” Jin grits his teeth. “We…don’t need to worry about Jimin anymore, Y/N. Focus-”
“Gone?” your hands reach up at the hospital mask and you begin to lift it from your face. “Gone where? Has he been arrested or-”
“He was gone by the time we arrived, Y/N!” Jin doesn’t want to take out his frustrations upon you, but you were acting daft. His hands slap yours away from the oxygen mask and he places it back where it was once located. “Obviously he had no intention of you escaping the Ripper. Daniel told me as much as he knows.” Jin explains. “The theater is burned to the ground, Y/N. You’re lucky to even be alive.”
You inhale, the information clogging your brain.
Jimin was gone - as expected. Who else managed to escape?
“The Ripper…” you trail off.
“There wasn’t another body recovered in the fire.” Jin murmurs back, eyes blinking away. “And right now, Y/N, I don’t care about the Ripper.” he shakes his head. “You could’ve lost your life right then and there. I…”
Jin turns away from you and you understand that this would weigh on his shoulders. Your heart jolts at the thought of Jin and what guilt he may be feeling.
“I’m capable of taking care of myself, Jin.” you inhale. You could still hear the harsh cracking of the fire as it spread throughout the theater. “I did this for the case-”
“Fuck the case, Y/N!” Jin’s eyes turn back to you, dark ones staring right into your own. “I wouldn’t have cared if the Ripper was still alive and well as long as you made it out of there alive.”
Jin swallows, inhaling deeply.
“I don’t…I don’t want to blame you. It isn’t your fault, Y/N. You couldn’t have known but…” Jin blinks a few times, trying to find the words to say to you. “...I don’t want you on this case, anymore. It’s too risky and-”
“What?”
You look pathetic, barely able to raise your voice past a hoarse whisper.
“You’re off the case.” Jin repeats. “Don’t fight me on this, Y/N. I’m-”
“I’m not getting off the case. I-”
“I want you to stay in Oakville.” Jin interrupts, raising his voice to challenge your own. “I want you to stay here. With me.”
You swallow, throat aching for some water but all you could think about are Jin’s words at the moment.
“I want you to be safe.” Jin begins. “And I can only assure your safety if you’re here with me. Jimin is gone and the majority of the Ripper’s men have since been arrested.”
You sniffle, eyes roaming Jin’s face.
“I…”
“I won’t force you.” Jin shrugs his shoulders, a bit awkwardly. “I…have grown to like your company. I would like you by my side. Here. With me.” he murmurs, hoping that his words - as vague as they were - would have you understand what he truly wants from you. “I appreciate all that you’ve done for the case but now I just want you to fall back. Heal and-”
“I’ll stay.” you nod your head, swallowing back the lump in your throat; that or it was soot, who knows.
“Good.” Jin licks his lips. “Good.” he sighs in relief, glad that he didn’t have to fight too hard. You were a stubborn one and in a way, he likes it. Not when your life is put into a compromising situation, however.
As days dragged onto weeks and weeks dragged onto months, your mind can do nothing but wander to Jimin and how someone of his status could just disappear into thin air. The streets of Oakville were slowly returning to how Jin said they were once before - safe and homely. There was very little crime and death was at an all time minimum unless caused by natural causes.
The once ringing telephone in Jin’s office now laid silent most days and it was just as it was before, peaceful. You began to think that maybe the Ripper was truly gone; that Jimin would never return to Oakville as it was far too risky.
The Ripper’s name was uttered as something in the past - somewhat like a folktale. The town of Oakville now allowed the sun to shine bright above their small, happy town.
“Are you sure you don’t want to return to your own town?” Jin asks as he sets down your boxes onto the ground of his apartment. It’s labeled “kitchen”. “I don’t want to force you here with me.”
“Are you telling me you want me to go?” you tease, placing a smaller box on top of the one he sat down and cross your arms.
“Of course not.” Jin scoffs with a playful roll of his eyes. “I just don’t want to remove you from your home.”
“Oakville is my home now.” you uncross your arms to throw a jab at Jin’s side, an act that he dodges effortlessly, smooth hands grasping your wrist to bring you closer to him.
You’re unsure how you’d ever explain to someone how you and Jin got closer with one another after the death - or disappearance - of the Ripper. His admission to wanting you by his side was just the first (awkward) step. You working alongside him constantly was another step of you two getting closer, mixed with shy glances and awkward encounters in his home.
“What are you thinking about?” Jin questions, arms wrapped loosely around you. “And don’t say nothing, either. I know you.”
“Sure.” you scoff, but it was true. Jin did know when your mind was clouded with a thousand thoughts at once. “Jimin…”
“Ah, of course.” Jin rests his forehead against yours.
“You think I’m foolish to keep thinking about him, huh?” you snort.
“No, of course not. It’s in your nature.” Jin responds. “Jimin is like…an unsolved case to you. You’re fiending-”
You pinch Jin in the chest slightly and he yelps.
“Hey!” Jin flinches but chuckles heartily at your reaction. “It’s the truth! You’re just a determined detective.”
Jin squeezes you a bit. “It’s not your fault. I want to know where the bastard went, myself. But dwelling on it would only drive me insane.”
Jin leans his head back to scan your face. He inhales deeply, a smile slowly creeping onto his lips.
“I like to think Jimin met his demise. That he’s somewhere laying in a ditch. It’s easier to accept that he could still be out there in another town alive and well.”
“Ugh,” you groan and throw your head back. It’s easier for Jin to not care about things such as this - maybe it was because he was a man. Men tend to lack any form of sense.
Jin is quick to press his lips against your neck, plump lips kissing the spot he knows would be your sweet spot.
“Just forget about Jimin and everything else for now.” Jin murmurs.
“We’re supposed to redecorate…!”
“We have all week for that.” Jin exclaims. “It isn’t like there’s a lot of crime, Y/N.”
You hated when Jin was being logical. There was a lot of time on your hands as Oakville has become such a safe haven for the townspeople again.
“How about you,” Jin’s lips crash against yours to silence you and you’re only partially surprised. “mph, just go lock up downstairs and-”
“Ugh,” Jin groans but he knows you’re right. He has already told several officers that they could go home early. Business had really slowed the last few months. “fine.” he sighs. “Then we’ll pick up where we started?”
You nod your head, a glint in your eyes that has Jin excited.
Your eyes follow as Jin scurries out the door, his footsteps growing more faint with each passing step. You release a sigh, your body radiating heat.
“Let’s see what I can do while Jin is locking up.” you speak to yourself, eyes roaming to the array of boxes until your eyes catch one.
Jin had insisted that he move the boxes full of items you didn’t use into the attic. They’re filled with memorabilia mostly instead of day to day items.
You grab a chair to open the attic door to the ceiling, the stairs squeak as you drop them down onto the ground. A bit of dust catches your nostrils and instantly, you sneeze.
You grasp the box and begin to slowly ascend the attic stairs. It’s dark mostly, but your phone light is all you truly needed to not be completely creeped out by the scenery.
There’s already boxes up there - expected seeing as Jin did state he kept the area as storage. You place your box down on the ground and grasp your flashing phone from on top of it. You scan the area, not finding anything out of the ordinary. There’s rows of boxes all closed and on top of one another, your camera finding that there’s an insane amount of dust covering the top of it that indicates that neither of them has been opened in years.
Though, your eyes catch a chest that is the only item inside the attic that isn’t covered in dust and grime and you hum. Your feet stroll towards the chest, kneeling down to shine your flashlight right at it. It’s wooden and a mahogany color, the top drawer slightly cracked open.
Your free hand pulls at the drawer to open, shining the light inside. It’s nearly  empty, aside for a few pieces of jewelry, you note, and what appears to be picture’s facing down.
“Is this an invasion of privacy…?” you ask yourself but your hand grabs at the pictures either way.
They’re old pictures and now you think they're of Jin in his youth. Your eyes scan each passing photo, more and more children coming into each frame.
Your eyes stop at one in particular, dozen of children standing in front of what appears to be a warehouse-like building.
Your eyes blink a few times before squinting.
“What…?” you murmur, orbs staring at a familiar face of you, right in the corner of said picture. You recall the exact outfit you wore that day, covered in mud and grime.
You swallow, slamming the picture down into the drawer. Your heart is pounding and your head is swirling with far too many emotions to count.
Your eyes catch onto the next photo and your heart sinks at who.
Jimin.
Jimin and Jin.
They’re young - possibly teenage years. However, they’re both smiling ear to ear with arms wrapped around the other’s shoulder.
Your breathing increases.
“Jin…”
Your ears hear him - Jin. He isn’t home yet, however he will be. He’s just down the hall and you sprint out of the attic. Your nerves are causing you to shake violently and you’re truly unaware how you managed to close the attic door and put the chair back to where it belonged as he entered.
“I’m back. Do you think we should order a…” Jin’s eyes turn to you and instantly, he freezes. “...pizza...? Is something…wrong?” He tries to laugh but nothing is amusing.
“Huh?” you try to sound unfazed, but you know you look as though you’ve just seen a ghost.
“Is everything okay?” Jin steps closer to you and without thinking, you step back.
“Yeah.”  you nod your head. You touch your forehead with the back of your hand. “I’m…just feeling tired.” you lie. “And…hot. I need a-”
“Y/N.” Jin takes another step forward and with each step, you take one back. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
You swallow.
Jin and Jimin knew one another. They were friends the least.
Jin knows you - for fuck sakes you knew Jin. You’ve blocked out your past life as much as you can that you completely forgot your ‘brothers and sisters’ and now Jin stands before you, reminding you everything of the past life you wished to keep behind you.
“Y/N.” Jin repeated, this time his voice was deeper and more stern.
“How did you know where to find me?” you ask Jin. “When…the fire broke out?”
“Daniel told me.” Jin responds with a tilt of his head. “Is something wrong?”
“How did you know I fought the Ripper?” you question. “Daniel wouldn’t have known. He wasn’t in the theater with me.”
Jin is silent and only his heady eyes are watching you.
“Is there something you want to ask me, Y/N?” Jin stands straighter. “Go out and ask. Don’t jump through useless questions.”
You want to ask Jin what was truly on your mind - you were just afraid of the response.
“Why…how do you know me?”
“That’s your question?” Jin scoffs. “You’ve been in the attic, have you? You look like you’ve seen a ghost…like a person who’s been shown the truth.”
“Stop coming closer.”
“Why?” Jin doesn’t listen and he slowly steps closer to you. “Are you afraid of me, Y/N?”
“Stop.” your teeth grit.
“Ask me what you want to know, Y/N. I’ll answer you truthfully.”
You have nowhere to run without him easily catching you. Your heart was beating so loud that it was getting hard to focus.
“You…you’re him.” you shake your head in near disbelief.
“Are you upset with me, Y/N? Do you look at me differently because…I was the Ripper?”
You release a choke gasp of disbelief.
“You tried to kill me!” your back hits a wall and you curse at your own bad decisions. “You-”
“I could’ve gutted you a long time ago!” Jin suddenly roars - one so loud that it echoes off of the walls. He stomps towards you. “I could’ve had your blood seeping through these floors the same night you came.”
Jin slams his hands on either side of your face against the walls.
“I could’ve killed you that night you presented yourself for Jimin so willingly…for me so willingly.”
“What…?”
“I knew you and I were meant for one another right then and there, Y/N. When you said you would be thinking of me while giving yourself to another man.”
Your night with Jimin was another night you would rather forget and often block out.
“I don’t…I-I don’t understand-”
“You don’t think it was Jimin who fucked you, right?” Jin scoffs with a shake of his head. He looks so different. His eyes…they were so cold and deranged. So distant.
Your stomach churns at Jin’s words.
“You’re as strong as I remember you were. You fought me the entire time at the theater. I wasn’t expecting you to be so dumb and cause a fire.” Jin shakes his head with a low tsk. “I had to get the both of us out of there before anything happened.”
Your hands, as rough as they could, shove along his chest to get him away from you.
“Get the fuck away from me!” you hiss, eyes blurred with hot tears.
“You’re being rash, now, Y/N.” Jin spit. “Don’t let this ruin us.”
“You’re a murderer!” you hiss, your eyes viewing Jin as he was; the Ripper.
“And you’re any better, Y/N?” Jin laughs. “Or does it not count because it was just a bit of poison?”
Your eyes widened at Jin’s words.
Your fist clench - another memory unblocked.
“I didn’t…you and Jimin and-”
“If anything, you were an accessory. You caused the fire that got rid of all the evidence, baby.” Jin shrugs his shoulders. “You’re just as bad as me. Get off your fucking high horse.”
“No.” you shake your head.
“Yes.” Jin scoffs. “The Ripper is dead, Y/N. I killed that part of me so that you and I can be together. Don’t you get that!”
Jin is quick in his movement, snatching your shoulders and forcing you to look at him.
“The Ripper is dead. Kim Seokjin is not.” Jin grits his teeth, appearing utterly deranged. “You and I can be a family again, Y/N. Eventually you’ll come around to Jimin, too.”
“You know where Jimin is?”
“Of course I do.” Jin smiles. “Jimin is my brother. Our brother.” he murmurs. “We all went down different paths but we’re together again. The Ripper was just a phase that I’ve gotten over.”
You didn’t know Jin - not as much as you thought you had. These eyes weren’t the eyes of the Jin you were growing to love. He didn’t look as kind and soft; his eyes were different. They dance with insanity as he speaks.
“You aren’t going to leave me again, right?” Jin watches you intensely. “I'd hate to have to kill the both of us, Y/N. But if that’s what you want.”
You stiffen, your ears not believing what they were hearing.
“We can pretend you never found out about the past and go back to what we were doing.” Jin’s hands begin to sooth you, rubbing along your shoulders. “We can order pizza and do what we normally do.”
You feel the tear drop onto your cheek before you realize you’re crying. You’re unsure of what to say or how to respond to this new information - you’re left with more questions than answers; questions you’re far too afraid to truly grasp.
“Or…I kill you. Then myself.” Jin shrugs his shoulders. Don’t let your emotions get in the way of our love, baby.”

。❅*⋆⍋*。*⍋⋆*❅。
After being thrown into a brick wall, drowned in scolding black liquid, ran over twice, and bent to the point of snapping in half did sweet mercy come to relieve the pains of the world. It just so happened to be in the shape of a large metal box. And smell like every health violation known to man and hybrid kind.
Clunk!
Y/n’s damaged phone hit the bottom of the dumpster, the loud noise nearly being lost in the dark alleyway thanks to the busy traffic of the city. The device was now gone and irreparable (which may or may not have been extremely fun to do- perhaps he has some pent up rage he should work on...) meaning it could no longer be tracked. He was oh so careful about it.
He was careful when arriving in the city, taking detours and making random stops before settling on a random alleyway with a dumpster. Despite knowing he was alone Jackson remained careful though, double checking his surroundings before exiting the dumpster and heading back into his car. It might have seemed too extreme to someone looking in, but if the knew the Spades family. Knew what they were capable of...
Closing the door with a little too much force, he leaned back in his seat and let out a long sigh. Jackson closed his eyes, feeling the freshly fallen snow slowly melt and dampen his jet black hair. His lips were pulled into a thin line, nearly sucking his teeth, as the events from the day played back in his mind.
The day was supposed to be an easy one. Get the new heiress into the new home, help unpack, question her mini library and the knickknacks he had noticed from prior visits, then head home. Simple. Done. Takoda made this all sound extremely easy in the will. But that man could make lassoing the moon look as easy as riding a bike. He was the kind of man who accomplished what he put his mind to and didn’t hesitate. Jackson admired him for it, looking up at him as a mentor ever since he was first hired. Even now the young man wanted to strive to be like his late boss.
He really wished the old man was right there with him, to help shed light on what Takoda was up to. And what Jackson should do with the chaotic mess he was in.
Not only does Jackson now have to worry about the Spades family but now hybrids. He never held any ill thoughts towards the beings and honestly viewed them just as he viewed humans: there were good and bad hybrids just like there were good and bad humans. Of course he found it odd that even now, so long later, they weren't given basic human rights. Hell, many places still want to keep them on leashes. He just couldn't see how they could be treated that way.
Well... maybe for one hybrid he could. Jackson scowled at the fresh memory of the shaggy brown haired hybrid that held him in that death grip. He would enjoy that one being in a doghouse, more for the sake of his injured ego than for the hybrids actions. A large part of him wanted to stay and ensure Y/n was in good hands. But judging at how they reacted to him was enough to let Jackson know she was going to be safe. His ass still hurt from the youngest canine tackling him to the ground.
‘Little shit.’
Bzz! Bzz!
His cell phone vibrated in his pocket, breaking the warm and calm atmosphere of the car. At first he was prepared to see a new number, knowing Y/n would be calling to give him her new cell phone information. However he was surprised at the name that appeared, his eyes narrowing for a moment. He really didn’t want to take this call…
But he had no other choice.
“Hello?... Hold on, what? … No, that’s not possible. I just… He what?...” He paused as he heard the new information being told to him. “... Of course he did… Alright.” The line went dead and he tossed the phone into the passenger seat. For a brief moment he stared straight ahead, allowing the new information to sink in.
He blinked.
Sighed.
BEEEEEP!
And banged his head into the car horn.
People walking about on the sidewalk jumped and stared at the parked vehicle who’s car horn was going off for a long period of time. But Jackson didn’t care. No, at that moment only one thing was on his mind: what the hell was Takoda up to.
。❅*⋆⍋*。*⍋⋆*❅。
The entire drive was rather relaxing. Namjoon kept a keen eye on the road while also engaging in conversation here and there. Jungkook and Jin decided to ask you a million questions, the duo's eyes were shining the entire time. It were as though you were telling them the greatest story to ever be written, even if it was just tidbits of your life. You did try to ask them questions about their own lives as well but they would get shy and nearly clam up.
It was shocking compared to how flirty and outgoing they were most of the time. You wondered if it had to do with their files... Those manilla envelopes might be holding their history and maybe some secrets they are afraid of speaking. It was hard to ignore when Namjoon would tense up beside you; Jungkook would let his hair fall in his face and glance down; Jin's smile would freeze before he stuttered a question of his own.
Did they really think you would kick them out from what those files stated? You heart clenched at the mere idea of it. Judging with how they acted you knew they were kind, too kind for the world they were created for.
And it made you nervous thinking of all that could have happened to them while being alive.
"You have arrived!" The GPS announced as the car slowed down. You were too busy with the pack that you failed to realize how fast time had gone by. "Welcome to Unova Mall!"
There was a time where shopping centers were dying out. Online shopping had grown and become popular with how easy it was to merely pick up your device, press a few buttons, and you’d see the item within the week. It wasn’t until hybrids came to be that mall’s began a resurgence. As more and more people began to adopt they soon realized that they had no where to showcase their new adoptions; restaurants were hardly allowing hybrids in due to them being seen as animals and highly dangerous (especially the first generation of hybrids), and parks were working on regulations on whether they needed leashes or not.
As the world shifted with the new profound creations certain businesses picked up on this opportunity; mall’s were revamped to accommodate hybrids, allowing specialty stores of all types to gather together. For some it was convenient to shop for themselves and hybrids in one go. For others it marked a great place to allow their hybrids to be seen by the world; from owning the latest generation to the rarest of breeds it was the place to go.
Personally you never shopped in malls before, never had a reason to. You preferred to get what you needed online or by running to whatever market you stumbled upon. However you knew there was no better place to complete your shopping list than the mall. Even if it made you cringe on the inside. The mere idea of being mistaken for someone who uses hybrids for clout... It left a rotten taste in your mouth.
Pulling up you could see the appeal of walking around in the large shopping center. The stores appeared to be outside but upon closer inspection you could see a glass ceiling covering all the stores, protecting shoppers from the elements. There were large and tall metal pillars placed throughout the area; units designed to heat or use AC depending on the weather. While there was a parking lot for people to park, the stores had large paved areas for everyone to walk around freely without worrying about traffic.
“I’ve never been to a place this large before.” Jungkook whispered, gold eyes large as he watched everything from his window. The car parked itself close to the front of the main entrance.
You were taken back once more to those files, wondering what their histories were like. Even now, stepping out of the car, that logical part of your brain was alerting you that you didn’t truly know these males. And, of course, that small voice in the back of your mind was reluctant to think of them as anything less than perfect. Nearly purring at the idea of them being the best men out there.
You really hated your brain sometimes.
“Alright beautiful, where do you want to go first?” Seokjin stood next to you. He kept close, his body acting as a shield to the wind and most of the snow.
“Furniture first, it’ll be easier to get that out of the way.” You responded. You stuffed your hands in your pockets, trying to keep the cold away.
Despite being mainly outdoors, the main entrance to the shopping center could easily be noticed by the large LED 'Welcome!' screen, models posing with hybrids wearing big smiles. The screen would shift and list attractions and new sales that the stores located all around would have. The stone pathway began right where the large welcome screen was, a directory stationed right beside it to assist in finding certain stores faster.
Namjoon walked beside you with Jin and Jungkook following close behind. “Do you know what you need exactly?”
“A bit, yes. I have a mental list of everything.” You beamed at him, your eyes meeting his amber ones. “It really shouldn’t take too long. Hardly any time at all.”
“Are we going to buy things for the arcade room?” Jungkook asked with a hint of hope in his voice. It did have you grinning but you shook your head at him.
“No, at least not today. We’re going to focus on the basics today.”
"There's still hope." He whispered, Namjoon rolling his eyes as the youngest grinned at the mere idea of having an entire game room to themselves.
The minute you stepped foot on the stone pathway entrance you felt warmth engulf you. The entire area felt warm and cozy, and even smelled good: you could smell hints of something sweet in the air almost like a bakery. A nice place such as this would provide air scents to boost appeal from the customers and create a relaxing atmosphere. Even Namjoon looked calmer though he was looking around and familiarizing himself with the place. His eyes were alert on the few people walking around, body shuffling closer to you.
‘What a good alpha.’ The pesky little voice in your head swooned. You mentally stomped on it with a boot and shook your head. With a quick glance you spotted the store with ease. “The store is right over there! Hopefully they have expedited shipping.”
“Are you in a rush for a coffee table or something?” Jin quirked an eyebrow, bright blue eyes looking confused for a moment.
“Not that, but I need a place to sleep.” You laughed as you all walked into the store. It was brightly lit and held displays for various rooms a household could have. It went far beyond what you could see from where you were standing. Glancing around you saw the bedroom area and quickly went towards it. “You guys got the bedroom since there are three of you in your pack. I’ll take another room and make it my own.”
You could feel a small amount of tension and turned to see the three hybrids staring at you, stone still at the entrance of the store, with mixed emotions; Jungkook looked hurt, Jin looked confused, and Namjoon appeared to be troubled. There was no telling what was going on inside their minds as you stopped mid-walk and blinked at them.
“What’s wrong?”
“That’s what we want to know? Was it the nest?” Jungkook quickly walked up to you, eyes searching yours for something that you didn’t know. “I can do better. Make it better.” Your face heated up as he knelt to your level, hands on your shoulders creating warmth and security that you hated to admit that you loved. “What did we do?”
“I- you guys did nothing,” You stammered over your words, noticing the rest of the pack gathering around you as well. A million questions rocketed in your mind, not knowing where this behavior came from. You really needed to do your own research or communicating would be nearly impossible. You could ask but you couldn't find the nerve to; you were already viewing yourself as a terrible owner for leaving them alone for months. Asking questions on basic information made you even worst in your own eyes. Stressing them out, not knowing enough about their species... you needed to do better and give them some hope in you and your abilities.
“You guys are a pack and would want to stay together, so you guys can take the master room. Since I’m not a pack member I really shouldn’t intrude.”
You could tell Jungkook was ready to argue, however a deeper voice was faster. “We understand Y/n. Thank you for thinking of us.” Namjoon gave you a soft smile, though it was a small one. His eyes seemed to be swimming through emotions that you couldn’t decode no matter how hard you tried. There was a pang in your heart at the thought of hurting them though you had no idea what you even did. If anything you were trying todo what was best for them.
As if sensing your doubts he gently took your arm and began to lead the way to the other showcases. Jin followed and offered you a soft smile as well, but just like the pack alpha’s it was small and didn’t reach his eyes. You pushed  your questions to the back of your mind as the bedroom displays came into view. Instead you focused on what you needed and went straight to the mattresses first, needing to test them out and see which one would be comfy for you.
Namjoon and Jin did help you, making good points. Jungkook, however, not so much. He decided to full on pout and whine, hands tugging on your jacket as he tried to sway you with pitiful words. Small attempts at pointing out minor flaws (“It’s an ugly color!”) didn’t help him either. Sitting on the seventh bed, you felt like it was made from a cloud. And no pouts from the youngest hybrid could sway you.
“It feels like I’m on a cloud, I really like this one.” You sighed and leaned back, closing your eyes. “I think I’m taking this one. Scratch that, I know I’m taking this one.” Since entering the store you could feel yourself feel less tense and stressed, boy molding into the soft material. You were ready to take a nap right there and then. The mattress shifted and you cracked your eyes open to be met with a pair of gold eyes boring into your very soul. You heart nearly stopped in shock at the canines presence. You didn't even notice him near you.
“But why not just stay with us?”
Jungkook saved the puppy dog eyes for last. Large doe eyes were staring right into your soul, lower lip jutted out in a pout that could shake even the iciest of hearts. There was determination behind the adorable stunt that you could see; the sharpness in his eyes as he waited for the perfect moment to try and persuade you once again. And what better way than when you had your guard down? He was hovering over you, hands on either side of your head, knees placed on either side of your waist though not a single ounce of his weight touched you. He was holding his own weight easily, without so much as a second thought. Your cheeks heated up as you realized the position you were in and blinked rapidly up at him, trying to collect your scrambled thoughts.
Your heart hammered in your chest, nearly jumping up your throat. You willed it to be steady for your own sake. “Jungkook, we talked about this. You guys need space as a pack.” Your words were met with a frown tugging on his pout, eyes searching yours once more. But you had no idea what he was looking for. So you changed tactics instead. “Besides, I’m the worst to sleep near. I’m certain I snore a lot.”
“I doubt that. Prove me wrong, spend the night with us. If we don’t mind then you stay.” His tone was firm, almost a command. Having him be this persistent should have made you roll your eyes and be snippy with the hybrid. But instead of feeling annoyed or even angry you felt yourself sag a little. Almost as if you were going to follow his orders, your eyes dilating ever so slightly as you stared up at him. Some type of trance seemed to take place over you, as if you were in your own little bubble with Jungkook where he was in control over everything. And somehow you were perfectly fine with that, hell you found yourself relaxing even more.
You couldn’t explain what your body was doing, you just felt the need to let go and let him take control. Maybe he was right… “Trust me, it’s best if you don’t. I-I also toss and turn all night.” You sounded weak, words spoken in a hush that not even you would have believed.
The pout had disappeared moments ago, the moment you relaxed under him. Jungkook was now gazing at you with a small smirk and hooded eyes, the gold shining brilliantly against his dark lashes. He seemed to be in a trance himself as he slowly lowered himself closer to you. His body was a hair's width away from you now, if you so much as took a deep breath you would be pressed against him. You could feel his warmth radiate off of him, his voice dropping several octaves, almost a growl, as he spoke. “We can keep you in place. Namjoon-ah especially.”
The next second happened too fast for you to grasp. The smallest of whimpers slid past your lips just as Jungkook yelped and disappeared from your view. It was as though the trance you were in shattered entirely and you sat up quickly, face ablaze as you looked around. Namjoon was gripping Jungkook by the back of his neck, the youngest looking almost ashamed with his head bent. Jin was reaching to slowly pull you up with sigh. There was no one else around (thankfully for you) and you nearly forgot where you were.
“Sorry about the brat, beautiful. He can be very persistent. We looked away for one moment and this happened.” His tone sounded remorseful, hands carefully pulling you up from the mattress. Those blue eyes carefully watched your face for a moment, as if waiting for something to happen. For you to do something or act out.
What even was that? You didn’t know what came over you or how it happened. Truth is you honestly didn’t want to know. Not yet at least. For now you were blaming it on your lack of intimacy. It has been quite some time since you were with someone…
Shaking your head you sighed. “It’s alright, he tried though. But I want this mattress.”
Taking note of which one you wanted, you continued down your list and got the rest of the things you needed. Namjoon kept Jungkook a bit away from you, the leader sending cool glares when he got too close. Jin was the one who did most of the talking with you, assisting you in certain items and his thoughts. An hour later and you were heading outside the store with your new belongings expected to be delivered that evening. While Jin was walking with you, Namjoon and Jungkook were following behind. The youngest was sulking while the leader was giving him a side eye. Whatever happened definitely wasn't approved by Namjoon.
'It's probably best if to keep my distance.' You thought, trying to keep some space between you and Jin. The husky sent you a questionable look that you ignored completely. You needed to get everything done before something else happens.
Next on the list was the hybrids themselves and getting them whatever they wanted or needed. You didn’t want them to feel rushed to shop, hence why you grabbed the furniture first. This ensured that they had plenty of time to browse and take a look around at whatever they needed. The store you had seen was not too far away; a mere few stores down was the famous store known for hybrids: Brand New Day.
BND was a large store that was filled to the brim with supplies for any type of Hybrid. It was a staple store in the community, being known for their amazing customer service and embracing acceptance towards all Hybrids. The four of you walked through the glass doors and towards the softer glow of lights that gave the store a warm appearance. The entire place felt like a giant hug; from the soft color scheme to the classic wooden floors. Displays scattered all around the store showcased all sorts of items, you felt lost looking around for a moment- where to even begin?
“Hi, I’m Lisa! Is there anything I can assist you with today?” A young woman approached your group, her hair glossy and as black as night. Her smile was kind, eyes meeting each person in your group. She wore an all black outfit with a beige apron, the BND logo embroidered on the front. Lisa looked relaxed and eager to help, eyes mainly trained on you since you were the owner of the trio.
You smiled back at her. “Hi, yes we need help. You see, I recently adopted my hybrids and…” You trailed off, obviously not knowing where to start. You feared you were going to look like an idiot and maybe even laughed at but the smile never once faltered. Lisa seemed to understand your predicament and give you a reassuring smile.
“I totally understand, it can be overwhelming. Especially if this is your first time.” Sliding her hand into her apron pocket she pulled out a small stack of pamphlets of various colors. “Now, what breed are each of your hybrids?”
You told her their names and their breed and she handed each one a pamphlet of different color. Jungkook had her faltering for a second, eyebrows knitting as she looked at the pamphlets. The wolfdog shifted his feet, gold eyes cast down as the seconds ticked by. Jungkook seemed uncomfortable as Lisa flipped through more pamphlets. You frowned, opening your mouth to ask what was wrong but Lisa was quick to perk up and smile at the two of you.
“Ah, here’s one for general canines and one for wolves! A crossbreed such as his is rare and while these are a good guide to buy the products you need, but Jungkook can absolutely browse and make his own selections. They all can really. These just help answer any questions you may have.” She explained, smiling gently at your group.
It wasn’t hard to tell that Jungkook looked almost embarrassed about the whole thing. And to make matters worse he seemed to be watching your reactions, gauging how you reacted to it. Sending him a soft smile you nodded.
"Thank you for your help!" You truly meant it too; Lisa provided a warm presence and reassurance. The fear of being laughed at or frowned upon for your lack of knowledge was slowly melting away. There was something about her presence that made you feel better.
"It is not a problem, if any of you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! I'll be on the floor if you need to find me." One last cheerful smile and a small bow she made her way back to her associate duties.
The pack was looking around with wide eyes, glancing in every direction. BND certainly had a wide variety of items, which was incredible for those who had owners of different breeds, and easier to find what you were looking for. You were about to ask where they wanted to go to first but held back as you remembered how Namjoon behaved earlier; his iciness when Jungkook behaved in the furniture store was hard to ignore.
'It'll be best if I let them get their own items. Give them space.' You didn't want to cause another incident and have an angry wolf on your hands. Instead you gave each of them a small smile, ignoring the uneasiness you felt of your choice.
"Why don't you guys go and gather what you need? I'll have Lisa open a register for you to place your items as you go." Your voice was light and positive, watching their facial expressions, especially Namjoon's.
Those amber eyes met yours, the corners of his mouth turned ever so slightly down. "Actually-"
"Sounds like a lovely idea, beautiful." Jin smiled at you, grabbing his pack mates arms. "We'll gather what we need. Is there a limit on what you wish to spend?"
"No, gather what you need or want. If it can fit in the car it can be purchased. Have fun!" You quickly turned on your heel, looking for Lisa. You didn't want Jungkook or Namjoon to try to persuade you to linger. Besides you assured yourself that they would love the space to shop freely without you hovering.
Spotting the raven haired woman, you explained your plan to her: leaving the trio inside the store to shop while you ran out to get a new phone. You were vague, explaining that your previous one was damaged from being left on top of the car. Whether she believed your or not did not matter and she only smiled and promised to keep an eye on the trio while you were out.
Exiting the store you nearly jogged to the phone store located several stores down. Not too far to cause worry and only a few minutes to walk to. Once inside you got down to business, determined to finish everything up as soon as possible.
Which happened to take over an hour.
You had to close your old account and open a new one with a whole new number (you claimed you had a stalker named Jackson) and decided to add three more lines to your account. What took you the longest was picking out which color phone to give to which hybrid. It was so slow in the store that several phone service representatives began to vote for colors for each hybrid (you did have fun with that though) and settled on three new colors along with one for you.
Once they were set up, you were handed a bag and free to dash back to Brand New Day, mentally praying that nothing bad had happened. However opening the glass door you stumbled upon a heartbreaking scene.
Jungkook was alone and curling in on himself, tail tucked between his legs, merle ears so low you could hardly see them from his fluffy hair. Soft whines poured from his hunched figure, back starting to shake. Lisa was next to him, her words soft as she tired to calm the canine down. She didn't touch him however; she was attempting at keeping his personal space for his own sake. But her words were falling on deaf ears.
Your heart splintered at the site of the hybrid shaking and turning his head to the side and away from Lisa and the door. A single tear rolled down his cheek, lips trembled as another whine came through. He sounded almost as if he was going to start howling. A wave of worry finally got you rushing forward, sliding towards your hybrid.
“Jungook?” Your voice was high pitched, the worry leaking out into the open. Your own eyes were wide with worry as you tried to make your way towards the hybrid.
Hearing your voice he snapped his head to you, his ears perked up and twitched at the sound of your voice. Gold eyes brimming with tears. It only took a millisecond before you were nearly tackled. Strong arms encased you close and tightly as though you’d disappear if he loosened his grip. His nose was pressed into the crook of your neck, breathing in deeply before he sighed. “Couldn’t find you. I kept looking. Thought you left.” Although his words were muffled in your skin, you could hear them perfectly clear.
‘Was he left behind before?’ You had to wonder if this was something he had experienced, given that it was the first thing he thought of when he couldn’t see you. The mere thought had you holding him just as tight, a hand running through his locks. “I’m sorry, I had to grab something. Besides I can’t leave, not without my hybrids.”
Your eyes met Lisa and you mouthed a thank you to her, and she smiled back and nodded to the register where you spotted a confused looking Jin setting some clothes down and heading over to the two of you. "Jungkook? Y/n? What happened?" The concern in his voice had you feeling a little safer; knowing he was worried about you was almost reassuring in a way you couldn't explain.
"I had to run an errand, Jungkook couldn't find me and thought I left you guys..." You trialed off, feeling guilt eat at you now. You honestly didn't think it was going to take that long to get everything done, thankfully he only just realized that you were gone.
Jungkook peeked up from your neck and looked at Jin, the two staring at one another for a few moments before Jin sighed. "I'm glad to see your okay, Y/n." His lips curled down however, eyebrows knitting as his bright blue eyes pierced into yours. "However, you need to tell us next time. What if something were to happen? We wouldn't know where you were or went to."
His tone wasn't condescending, but there was authority behind it. An order of sorts. It had you looking down, feeling small and weak for a moment. "I told Lisa, I wanted you guys to have some shopping and fun without me breathing down your necks."
Hearing this had the pair of hybrids looking at you with confusion, Jungkook pulling away from you. His lips parted and whether he had a questions or statement you wouldn't find out; Namjoon's voice broke the three of you out of the quiet stare down you guys had going on.
"I think we got everything we need." The ashy haired wolf approached the group, eyes lingering on everyone with an eyebrow raised. Seeing the questionable look you jumped away from Jungkook, creating some distance from yourself and the others.
"If you guys got what you needed we can pay and head out." Ducking your head, you headed towards the register where Lisa stood with a smile. Everything was rung up and ready to go, two shopping carts filled with items the hybrids had picked out. With a quick good day your group left; Jungkook and Jin pushing the carts towards the car while you gripped the single shopping bag from earlier.
"Y/n?" Namjoon was standing right behind you, his deep voice making you freeze on the spot. Slowly you turned and looked at him with eyes slightly large.
You managed to squeak out a 'yes?' and stare at the wolf, wondering what he was going to do. Was he going to go off on your for what happened in the furniture store? Or for leaving and making Jungkook upset? You were on the verge of fidgeting the longer he looked at you. Those eyes scanning over your every feature making your heart beat faster. It was soft, barely heart but you know you did: Namjoon let out a soft whine in the back of his throat, his hand quickly reaching out for one of yours.
"What's wrong?" He sounded concerned, his voice coming out in a hush. His thumb was brushing slow circles on the back of your hand, the gentle action helping quiet your hammering heart. "Did something happen?"
"I... I just thought you guys would want space as a pack." You wanted to kick yourself for sounding so weak and quiet. It seemed to be happening a lot as of late and it bothered you a bit. Closing your eyes you decided to be honest and not dance around the bush. "After all that happened today, I thought it was what you wanted. You seemed upset at the furniture store-"
"Oh angel." Namjoon cut you off with a sigh, his hand pulling you closer. Your eyes snapped open, meeting his gaze head on. The new nickname had your cheeks turning rosy. "I'm not upset. At least, not with you. Jungkook... he did something that I disapproved of." Reading your confused expression he only brought your hand up to his mouth, pressing his lips to the back of it, breathing your scent in deeply. "I'll explain once you read our files, angel."
When you only nodded he raised an eyebrow at you, not pleased with no verbal response. He raised his eyebrow for a second before his teeth nipped at your knuckles playfully, making you leap back and scowl. "Fine, yes!" He laughed at your response, gently pulling you towards the car.
"Let's get the groceries and head home." He laughed again, and looking up you spotted dimples with his wide smile. Grinning back at him you nodded in agreement with only one thought on your mind: You really liked how he said 'home'.
。❅*⋆⍋*。*⍋⋆*❅。
It was eerily quiet in the large vehicle. The soft sound of the heater flowing through the vents from the front seat would have created a beautiful little bubble in the car. If it weren’t for the two passengers sitting in the back seats, shivering in their thin jackets. They learned quickly that the vents were either broken or the driver simply refused to turn the back vents on. The teasing of the heat that barely reached them would have created a sour mood.  But not today.
No, today was indeed a perfect day in their eyes. And no amount of cold could dampen the light that their eyes held as they watched the large city come into view. Towering skyscrapers twinkling in the late afternoon, their lights illuminating the grays and whites from all around. The lights seemed to glow brighter as if sensing their hopeful hearts. He pressed his head against the glass, ignoring the biting chill of the surface and watched with wide eyes as the world around them zoomed by. What would they look like? For months he had envisioned what their savior would look like. He wondered what their hobbies were, their favorites, he wanted to know it all.
The daydream came to an abrupt halt much like the car that screeched to a stop on the side of the road, right outside of an apartment complex. It towered and loomed over the pair as they stared with mouths slightly agape. Was this the place? Was this where they were meant to go? The company gave them zero information on the matter with the exception of one name.
“Get out.”
The driver’s voice was as cold as the winter winds. Beady, dark eyes glaring at the two from the rearview mirror. One hand was gripping the wheel and the other was on the gear shift. He wanted them out as soon as possible. Obviously he wasn’t a fan of hybrids. It was a common occurrence but still the hate in his eyes had the pair tensing up.
“B-but which one do we-” The eldest tried to speak up, the cool glare already rattling his nerves. Even his sensitive ears he could hear the insecurity and softness in his words. He wanted to sound brave for his pack but it was hard when his own heartbeat betrayed him. He could have spoken up, perhaps sound stronger but those words died on his lips as the man in front of them laughed. It was scratchy and deep, full of mockery.
“Like I care. I was told to deliver you two here, nothing more, nothing less. So get out. Now.” He tapped the gas pedal once, cackling as the vehicle bucked forward sending the pair forward into the front seats.
Anger brewed inside but he knew arguing with the older man would only cause problems. Gripping his younger brother's hand he gently pulled him out the doors and into the cold winter air. The lightweight jackets they wore were no match for the icy winds and snowflakes that whipped around them. The moment the door was closed the car screeched off and out of sight.
“H-hyung, what now?” Arms crossed over his chest, the youngest leaned into the eldest to try and get warm. Pointed ears flattened against his head and bushy tail wrapping around himself as protection. “Sh-sh-should we kn-knock?”
They both knew that wouldn't work. At least not for them; two hybrids knocking on every door would only have Hybrid Protective Services called. And going back was not an option, at least not for them. Being homeless and living on the street would have been better than returning. Anything would have been better than returning to their company.
Today was supposed to be the start of a new life for them. A new chapter with possibilities and hope for a better future. A fresh start. Was this all a joke? Fear began to creep in as the thought of this all being one large prank grew; giving the two of them one last bit of hope only to have it ripped from them. It was very possible, knowing their company, and the thought had the eldest almost spiraling when a soft voice broke the chain of thoughts.
“Are you two from Faux Inc?”
A young woman stood behind them, shocking the pair for a moment. Dark hair was glittered in snow flakes, with equally dark eyes watching the two with curiosity and, from what they could tell, hope. She wore a professional pantsuit with a thick outer coat to help protect against the harsh weather. The air she had was calm and collected, though not cool- she was someone who felt dependable, a safe place to land.
The youngest perked up, tail wagging at the young woman. “Are you Mr. Takoda?” There was a hint of desperation in his voice, fingers gripping his hyung’s jacket.
She smiled and swallowed the giggle that tried to escape and shook her head. “I’m afraid not. My name is Soojin Seo, I was one of his three assistants. I was informed by your late owner to provide you with a home for a while, letting his niece get settled in before escorting you both to the home.”
“Late owner? Mr. Takoda has passed?” The eldest blinked in surprise, turning to the other. This was not something that they were told.
“That is correct. However do not worry; his niece will be your new owner. She is slowly adjusting with the changes.” Soojin smiled at the two softly, knowing this was a confusing situation. She could only do her best to help the pair while under her temporary care. Takoda was a well planned out man; she had her instructions and would follow them perfectly. “While she is getting settled, you two will be with me for a bit.”  As she spoke she walked towards a large white SUV, gracing them with a reassuring smile. “I can answer all your questions to the best of my ability on the way back to my home. I’ll do my best to ensure your safety and happiness.”
The two shared a look with the same thought bouncing between the two of them: they had nothing left to lose anyway. Perhaps it was blind trust and the cold, or maybe it was the desperation of wanting a home. Regardless the pair climbed into the warm car, their hands clasped together as questions crept to the tip of their tongues.

༻❤︎︎ ★ ★ ❤︎︎༺
taehyung sits on the couch with yeon-tan laying on his lap. he has a bottle of wine in his hands, unopened and eyes tired. his heart is ringing loud in his ears and he feels like he's about to die. you're nowhere to be found. it's been two hours since he called you, warning you. but it's only him in the apartment, no sound or chatter of another person to accompany him. it forms a lump in his throat because if you don't come by morning, will you continue to see him? have him pay for your things? spend time with him? what about everything you guys did together. when the bell finally dings, taehyung rushes to the door, leaving the pomeranian along with the wine behind. he hugs you as soon as the door is opened. he can smell your perfume and a mix of something else. a smell that only happens when—your voice snaps him out of daze. "tae, have you been staying up for me?" there's a pinch of worry in your voice, it softly wavers. he nods his head that is still hidden in your chest. you finally manage to enter the apartment, you have him sit while you cook his favorite food as an apology. "do you think your gonna pass?" you don't think about the lie you told earlier, letting the words fly out, "pass? what are you talking about?" you smile at him, "i think you're sleepy." taehyung just looks at you, eyebrows raised and that's when it hits you. "i'm joking!" you stutter out, face burning up from the embarrassment.
luckily, yeon-tan barks at you, distracting the both of you with his high pitched barks and swigging tail. the two of you end up in each other's arms with tannie in the middle. you play around with taehyung's hair and the little dog's tail. an old, french cartoon is playing on the television. one that taehyung loves to watch with you because he knows how much it makes you laugh. he opens the wine with ease that the cork flies out so easily. the white shirt you're wearing gets stained with the dark red splashes along with the silk, white sheets. out of the corner of your eye, you see yeon-tan run out of the room as fast as he can. you're tackled onto the bed by taehyung softly. his bare chest sticking to your t-shirt, you laugh at his face that's spilling the red vino out of his lips that form a tight-lipped smile. your sight catches the name of the black bottle that is has taehyung's hand wrapped around it, the red top shining: Pétrus and Romanée Conti. your eyes widen at the name, having heard it's taste is great but the price to it was unbelievable. half the bottle is already empty, either leaked onto the fabrics of your clothes or taehyung's bare chest or drying up onto the comforters.
taehyung laughs at your squeals to escape as he kisses your face all over until he he places one last, deep kiss into your lips. his eyebrows moving up and down, "want a drink?" you nod at the suggestion. that night, you stay in taehyung's apartment with your and his body all sticky, drinking and enjoying each other's company. almost like lovers. his fluffy hair is messed up by all the goofing around, his nose is covered by lip stick that will always be yours. while your neck is covered in one single love bite, one that taehyung pecked with passion after he was done making it. you fall asleep before him, his arms pulling you closer to him: chest to chest and legs wrapped around each other's. taehyung can almost hear his heart burst. his eyes closing with his head near your face, slightly falling into your neck.
you left taehyung's apartment after a home-made breakfast with him and a quick laundry wash. the afternoon has already come into place and your coming back home after finishing classes at your college. but a man standing at your apartment door with black hair and a bag of your favorite fast food place has you frozen on your feet. a shock on your face when he finally turns around. "i'm not too late, am i?" you giggle as you run up to him, bodies close to each other as the both of you find comfort in each other. "i brought your favorite!" he says while winking at you after entering into your apartment. "it's been so long jinnie!" you squeal, taking a large bite of the hamburger in your hand along with french fries. the place you love is always packed with busy crowds, the longest lines to order fast food. so how did he get them? oh right, kim seokjin is the son of a wealthy ceo. he can get anything he wants with a snap of his fingers. the conversation drifts smoothly between the two of you, comfort in your home. "you remodeled your apartment. it looks good." seokjin wiped the corners of his mouth with a napkin. "yeah! i saved enough money." you give him a fake smile, knowing that each penny was from the man in front of you or the other men you spend time with.
"how was your trip?" you muttered, resting on the couch upside down with a full stomach. "beautiful. the people there were nice and the food was great," he lies down next you, "but i missed a certain, special someone." he whispers to you, "a lot." your hand wraps around his shoulder, "really?" there's a knot in jin's throat as he can't believe he's right in front of you after such a long time. even if it was just two weeks. his eyes gawk at your pretty face, still youthful with happiness and ethereal. his breathing seems to stop as you come closer to him, lips too close to his. just as he's about to land a peck, your head turns to side and he catches a flash of a grin on your face. feeling a featherweight kiss on his cheek. his heart warmth's at your action. "wanna do something?" your eyes give him a questioning look. "lets watch the night sky tonight. maybe a cooking show until then?" you laugh at the uncertainty on his voice as he mentions the cooking series. "good to see you're still the same seokjin."
while you put on the show, you don't care to look at the lingering eyes on you. knowing it's just seokjin. don't care to notice how he can't keep his eyes off you or more like your phone that keeps buzzing with messages. seokjin's hand itches with a need to grab it. and he thinks he just might.

5 June 2024, Friday
Gigophone Headquarters, Seoul.
8:15 p.m.
Taehyung’s pov
“Jin hyung, want to go out for drinks today?” I plead as hyung just looks at me cryptically and declines by shaking his head sideways.
why? i need someone to accompany me while i have my daily dose of liquor and i choose you today, jin hyung.
“Please brother, the drinks are on me this time.” i insist, yet again, receiving a devastating sigh from him as i anticipate a no.
“Okay but only this one time” Jin hyung says coldly, this was to my surprise
I smile at him and nod my head
As we’re walking towards the bar, which is located in the same vicinity as our office so we didn’t have to walk much, I feel a tap on my shoulders.
I turn to look around but I spot no one.
“what happened Taehyung? is there something on your shoulder?” Jin hyung asks concerned
“No-no hyung. I just felt something on my back probably a twig?” i dismiss the sensation i felt on my shoulder.
time skip.
In the Bar:
8:40 p.m.
Author’s p.o.v.
“ Our boss is such an A-hole, that bastard has kept my promotion on hold since the last two years. “
taehyung groans in frustration as jin just sighs as he pushes back his spectacles upwards to correct its position on his nose bridge.
“he still favours you a lot as two years ago” jin says ominously. if taehyung wasn’t aware about jin’s professionalism, he would have thought that jin sounds salty but that isn’t the case.
“i know i know but he thinks i don’t deserve the raise until i prove my competency again” taehyung rolls his eyes as he blurts this out, half wasted.
taehyung loosens his tie as he feels the warmth due to the drink creeping up
Seokjin can hold his alcohol well but cannot hold his pee. he excuses himself to use the washroom.
Suddenly, while Taehyung is immersing himself with the club’s ambience and his bitter drink, a woman enters the bar.
the woman is dressed in complete black. her black satin dress hugging her curves, her medium length silky hair reaching her mid-back with red streaks at the end, wearing two inch pointed YSL heels and carrying a black bag that slung around her shoulders. she is the embodiment of beauty.
she walks over to where the taehyung is sitting.
“Good Day Sir, May I have one glass of vodka topped with soda?” the woman in black asks
the waiter mesmerized by her charisma responds, “Sure madam, drinks are on the table today”, she smiles at this statement.
taehyung’s pov
‘what a seductress.’ i think as i feel myself growing hot because of this new presence in this club.
the woman takes her drink and then places herself on the seat right next to mine.
i can see her up close, her features are remarkable but she feels somewhat familiar . have i seen her somewhere? is she perhaps a model?
I’m pulled out of my train of thoughts when she snaps her fingers at me, grabbing my attention.
“Hi, I’m-“ loud music overrides her statement so i never get to know my name and to not sound aloof i don’t ask for her name again either.
“Taehyung.” i say, “What is a pretty girl like you doing in this cheap bar?” I ask curiously. by the looks of her attire, she looks like she lives a lavish life.
“Just reclaiming what’s mine” she says in a weird tone. ah whatever, i’m too drunk to decipher the underlying message of her statement.
her hand slowly starts to travel up my right thigh, whew that is hot but too fast too.
“ma’am, i’m not that easy” i state coquettishly as i remove her hand from my thigh and place a gentle peck on the back of it.
“oh really?” she says smirking a little
she then sips her drink, leaving a red lipstick stain on the glass and offers me to drink from it
i look at her lips. she has some kind of charm to her, she is so fucking pretty.
beep. beep.
my phone rings,
a notification pops up
“when are you returning home?”
the text displays
i grunt in annoyance
“half an hour” i text back dryly.
i keep my phone to the side again, i better go get jin hyung so that we can leave for home.
the pretty lady catches my eye again as she offers her drink to me, once again.
i politely decline. “no thank you madam.” i say. even when you’re 29, stranger danger still exists.
a slight frown forms on her face as she persists for me to have a sip.
I feel annoyed so I get up, bow to her and leave to find Jin hyung. he must be in the washroom.
I enter the men’s washroom. I knock on the door in which Jin hyung is but he asks for five more minutes.
Just as he says that, I feel the door knob click before me as I sense another person entering the bathroom stall as well.
The lady at the bar has invaded the men’s washroom.
I’m too drunk. this has to be it. otherwise, why would a woman enter into our territory?
“Taehyung-ah” she calls out my name
oh shit. she is inside the men’s washroom. i feel scared, doldrum and fear creeping in, never in a lifetime has anyone made me as uncomfortable as her.
my safety is compromised.
I compel for Jin hyung to get out as quickly as possible amidst ignoring her reprimands for not responding to her well.
He gets out, he sees the woman inside, he washes his face, to get a clear view of her, he looks shocked as he contemplates her existence in the washroom.
He grabs my hand and rushes out of the washroom, going over to pay the bill for our drinks.
My head starts throbbing a lot.
Suddenly, the woman screams at the top of her lungs. “Taehyung” that’s all she says.
my headache grows worse
she jumps onto me and starts attacking me by clinging to me.
I scream back in protest, trying to defend myself.
Everyone else in the club except for Jin hyung because he has gone over to pay our liquor dues gathers around us
Seeing the lady ferociously attached to me like a beast, they try to remove her grasp over mine.
They succeed so in doing that, her nails engraved marks onto my skin.
What a crazy woman
“Who are you miss? why are you troubling this fine gentleman? you know you could be locked up for physical harassment?” one of the people from the crowd asks her.
“I AM HIS WIFE” she shouts at the man
a brick hit my head, is this gaslighting or no way…is she my wife??
my head hurts a lot
the woman comes closer to me, “I’M YOUR WIFE TAEHYUNG, YOUR WIFE, YOU LOVE ME AND YOU ALWAYS WILL LOVE ME. EVEN DEATH CANNOT DO US PART” she says.
My wife…?? Why do I have no recollection of her then? who is she really?
so many unanswered questions flash my mind, why can i not remember what happened two years ago.
what? why did i suddenly think of what happened two years ago.
Suddenly i feel a broad, well built chest hugging me, i look up at his tears stained cheeks.
Jin hyung is weeping sorrowfully but why?
“your wife is dead, Taehyung, Y/N is dead”
too much to decipher, i fade into unconsciousness.
Author’s POV
flashback
5th July 2022
“Happy birthday sweetie, daddy loves you so much”, Taehyung says that to his five years old daughter
“Thank you so much Appa”, His daughter says smilingly.
His daughter then looks at him and smiles sadly, “Daddy, mommy made me a cake”
Taehyung listens to her surprised
“A cake? your mommy baked you a cake? aww that’s so nice of her” He says praising you.
“But she added salt instead of sugar” Minjee sighs as she says that.
“Sure it wasn’t intentional sweetie, mommy loves you a lot!” Taehyung says while he internally is aware of the truth.
“Mommy loves me? I’m sure she wants me dead” a frown forms on her face as she states this into nothingness, she quickly plasters her face with a giggle to not make the ambience of the house depressing.
Taehyung hugs his daughter, she is so mature for her age, he feels angry at you for not controlling your sentiments towards your own blood.
“How do you know that honey, every mother loves her child” taehyung tries to convince his daughter but his attempts go futile,
“She’s been bathing me with rubber gloves on, the thought of touching me with her bare hands repulses her”, minjee says with pools of tears in her eyes.
Taehyung tries to change the topic by bringing up the fact that Minjee’s grandfather, your father who is also the chairman of the company he’s working for, has nominated him for a promotion.
“That is so cool daddy, I’m so proud of you” Minjee says as she pecks his cheeks afterwards to congratulate his victory, he smiles and looks at her endearingly.
He goes into his shared room with you, his wife, who has been diagnosed with post partum depression due to the twin you miscarried while having Minjee.
“WHAT KIND OF SICK MOTHER ARE YOU?” taehyung screams at you
you say nothing
“Answer me Y/N” he says strictly, “YOU COULDNT EVEN MAKE HER A NORMAL CAKE, YOU WASH HER USING A GLOVE? HOW THE FUCK DOES SOMEONE HATE THEIR OWN AKIN?” he continues raging.
“I don’t want to hate her Taehyung”, you say crying,
“She’s my own, how can I hate her but whenever I go near her, I feel disgusted with myself and her, for some reason, i just cannot shake this feeling and this is causing a wreak havoc in my life!”, you continue,
“I’m a terrible mother, I’m not even a mother for how I feel towards my own child, I’m a moster!” you exclaim.
“THEN FUCKING CHANGE YOURSELF” he shouts at you.
“the therapy is not working, i just hate her so much. sometimes i wish for her death” you scream
taehyung feels something switch within himself, he simply grabs your shoulders, set up a noose using his belt, “you die, not her” he says without thinking and then leaves the room going to meet his daughter.
After some time, silence is all he hears in this house but then suddenly the door bell rings, revealing his father in law who also happens to be his boss.
“How are you taehyung, happy birthday to my little princess”, your father takes out a large trunk filled with toys for his beloved granddaughter.
Minjee hugs her grandfather and peppers his cheeks with little kisses as a sign of affection.
“Okay now let me go meet my daughter, Taehyung, son, please call her”
Taehyung complies as he opens the door.
he falls on his knees to his horror, as he sees you hanging from the fan with the same noose he tied for her.
He feels his heart and his head throbbing, realising he has a heart attack, he falls down.
He hears footsteps coming inside, he then grasps faint shouting from your father.
…flashback ends
5th july 2024, 9:40 p.m.
Taehyung regains his consciousness with fleeting memories from the past.
He has had another heart attack due to the sudden whiplash of events from the past.
“TAEHYUNG” jin calls out to him as taehyung slowly opens his eyes, his heart rate returning to normalcy
he hears another cry, “Appa” from his daughter whom he started to ignore ever since that incident, he got into anti depressants and memory suppressants which repressed a part of his hippocampus’s ability to remember heart wrenching moments.
he has forgotten about the existence of his little family due to the medication and the deep state of trauma but his daughter did not deserve this.
He immediately hugs his daughter and apologises to her for putting her through so much bullshit, she hugs him back. (she will need a lot of therapy when she grows up god)
“Taehyung, you had been in coma ever since the incident at the bar” Jin says worried.
“Hyung, was Y/N really there? you saw her didn’t you? Hyung please answer, she’s alive right?” Taehyung says with glint of hope in his eyes, hoping his lover is alive and well.
Jin looks down at his feet, “you’ve been suffering from visual and auditory ever since the…everything happened in the club was in your imagination that’s why i wasn’t willing to accompany you that day because you imagine her especially on that day, the same thing happened last year but not as severe as you going bonkers and then landing up in a coma” he says sadly.
Taehyung feels upset evidently, he apologises to Jin hyung and then his daughter, “I promise I will provide you with everything you want, I will compensate you for all the emotional damage by diligently going to therapy and actually trying to heal and move on”, he trails
“as for her, I haven’t processed her death yet so I will unfold myself slowly during the therapy session and hoping I could also reconcile with my father in law but i don’t think that would be possible anytime soon” he says maturely and then faints
3 years later.
Taehyung is sitting on a crimson coloured sofa in the confines of his therapist’s office whose name he keeps on forgetting as she sits in her white blouse, black pencil skirt in front of him, holding a notepad in her hand with a pencil stuck to her hair as a hair pin, scribbling down his condition and symptoms. She has administered him with a large dose of anti depressants to deal with his post grief depressive syndrome which has resulted in the suppression of few parts of his memories while this does not disrupt his daily life routine but surely does provide minor inconvenience such as forgetting trivial details. although the medication and counselling sessions have thoroughly helped him gain clarity over his past and how to deal with the trauma he has been through to be able to nurture and nurse his daughter better but still he is a lot of therapy sessions behind to reach the state of invigoration.
The therapy session begins:
“ so the medications are working, sir? “, the therapist asks.
“yes ma’am, I have reconciled with my father in law while I now prove myself to be worthy enough of that promotion, madam.”, Taehyung replies, delivering the happy news that she acknowledges with a cryptic nod.
“I think we’re ready to unpack now.” she says, expecting him to speak about the most crucial part of his past, you.
Taehyung breathes in to relax before saying, “about her? well i think i’m ready as well to face my inner demons, to face her.”
the therapist puts her notepad down on the table and sighs. Taehyung looks at her expectantly.
Therapist: we’ll go over that in our next session, till then, take care mister taehyung.
Taehyung nods his head in agreement to her statement, smiles at her, “Thank you so much for your help till this moment, miss..” ah there he goes forgetting her name yet again.
“Ah you seem to have forgotten my name mister kim”, the therapist smirks to which taehyung just shoots a boxy smile and says, “sorry madam.”
The next statement of hers, rubs that smile off his face and sends chills down his spine as she says her name.
“Y/N”.

La la la la Love
The school bell rang, signaling the end of another tedious math class. Hana quickly packed her books, hoping to avoid any unnecessary encounters. But as she turned the corner, she ran into the last person she wanted to see—Kim Taehyung.
“Well, well, if it isn’t Hana,” Taehyung drawled, a smirk playing on his lips. “Where are you rushing off to?”
Hana’s heart pounded in her chest. “J-Just going to the library,” she stammered, avoiding his piercing gaze.
Taehyung’s smirk widened. “I think you have time for a little chat, don’t you?” He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming.
She took a step back, fear evident in her eyes. “Please, Taehyung, I don’t want any trouble.”
He reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “Who said anything about trouble?” His voice was soft, almost tender, but Hana could see the dangerous glint in his eyes.
---
During lunch, Hana sat alone in the cafeteria, trying to enjoy her meal. Taehyung watched her from across the room, his eyes never leaving her. His friends, Namjoon and Yoongi, noticed his fixation.
“Why don’t you just leave her alone, Taehyung?” Namjoon suggested, concern in his voice.
Taehyung tore his gaze away from Hana and looked at his friend. “I can’t. She’s… different.”
Yoongi raised an eyebrow. “Different how?”
Taehyung didn’t answer, his eyes drifting back to Hana. He stood up, ignoring his friends’ questioning looks, and made his way to her table.
“Mind if I join you?” he asked, not waiting for a response as he sat down next to her.
Hana tensed, her appetite disappearing. “Why are you doing this?”
He leaned in, his voice low. “Because I can’t stay away from you.”
---
Hana was sitting alone in the cafeteria, trying to eat her lunch in peace.
Suddenly, Taehyung and his friends approached her table. He sat down next to her, an unsettling grin on his face.
"What's for lunch today, Hana?" he asked, leaning in too close for comfort.
Hana tried to ignore him, but he grabbed her sandwich, taking a bite.
"Not bad," he said, his eyes never leaving hers.
"Give it back, Taehyung," she said quietly, her voice trembling.
"Why? So you can eat it in your little corner all alone?" he taunted, tossing the sandwich back onto her tray.
Hana felt tears prickling her eyes but refused to let them fall.
 "Why do you do this?"
"Because it's fun," he replied, his grin widening.
"And because you react every time."Before she could respond, he stood up, his eyes flashing with something darker.
"See you around, Hana."
--
During gym class, Hana tried to stay out of Taehyung's way, but he seemed to find her no matter where she went. As they played dodgeball, he made a point of targeting her with every throw.
"Hey, Hana!" he shouted, just before hurling a ball directly at her.
It hit her hard, knocking her to the ground.Laughter erupted around her, but Hana felt only the sting of humiliation and pain. She looked up to see Taehyung smirking down at her.
"Better watch out, Hana. You're an easy target," he said, his voice mocking.
Hana picked herself up, her cheeks burning with embarrassment and anger.
"Why can't you just leave me alone?"
Taehyung's smirk faded, replaced by a flicker of something more complex.
"Because I can't," he said quietly, before turning and walking away.
--
The cafeteria was abuzz with the usual chatter as Taehyung and the boys sat at their usual table, joking and laughing amongst themselves. Suddenly, a hush fell over the room as someone approached their table.
"Hey, Taehyung," a voice called out. It was one of the school's notorious troublemakers, a cocky grin on his face. "I've got a challenge for you."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh yeah? What kind of challenge?"
The troublemaker leaned in, a mischievous glint in his eye. "I dare you to kiss the first person who walks in through that door."
Taehyung's friends exchanged uneasy glances, sensing trouble. Namjoon opened his mouth to protest, but Taehyung held up a hand, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Fine," Taehyung said, his voice filled with bravado. "You're on."
Just as the challenge was accepted, the cafeteria door swung open, and Hana walked in, her eyes downcast as she headed towards the lunch line. Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he watched her, a rush of conflicting emotions flooding through him.
"Wait, Taehyung, we shouldn't—" Namjoon started, but it was too late. Taehyung was already on his feet, striding purposefully towards Hana.
"Hana!" he called out, drawing the attention of the entire cafeteria. She looked up, startled, as Taehyung approached her.
The room fell silent as Taehyung stood in front of Hana, his heart pounding in his chest. He could see the confusion and fear in her eyes, and for a moment, he hesitated. But then, with a determined glint in his eye, he reached out and gently cupped her face, leaning in to press his lips against hers.
Gasps echoed through the cafeteria as Taehyung kissed Hana, his friends looking on in shock. But as he pulled away, he saw something in Hana's eyes that gave him hope – a flicker of something resembling understanding.
He met her gaze, silently pleading for forgiveness, before turning and walking back to his table, leaving the entire cafeteria in stunned silence. As he sat down, his friends stared at him, speechless.
"What was that, Taehyung?" Yoongi finally managed to sputter.
Taehyung shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant despite the turmoil raging inside him. "Just a kiss, right?"
But deep down, he knew it was so much more than that. It was a bold declaration of his feelings for Hana, a risk he had taken in front of the entire school. And as he stole a glance at her across the cafeteria, he couldn't help but wonder what would come next.
--
As the cafeteria gradually returned to its usual buzz of activity, Hana stood frozen in place, her mind racing. She felt the lingering warmth of Taehyung's lips on hers, a confusing mix of emotions swirling inside her. Part of her was shocked by his boldness, while another part couldn't deny the flutter of something resembling excitement deep within her chest.
Meanwhile, Taehyung tried to maintain his composure, but his heart was racing with anticipation and anxiety. He stole glances at Hana from across the room, hoping to catch a glimpse of her reaction, but she avoided his gaze, her expression unreadable.
Namjoon cleared his throat, breaking the tense silence at their table. "Taehyung, what was that all about?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.
Taehyung shrugged, attempting to play it cool despite the turmoil churning inside him. "Just having a little fun, Joonie," he replied with a smirk, though his eyes betrayed the uncertainty he felt.
Yoongi raised an eyebrow, his gaze piercing. "Fun? That didn't look like fun, Taehyung. It looked like you were making a statement."
Taehyung's smirk faltered, and he shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He knew his friends were onto him, but he wasn't ready to admit the true extent of his feelings for Hana – not yet, at least.
Before the conversation could continue, Hana quietly slipped out of the cafeteria, her mind spinning with confusion. She needed time to process what had just happened, to sort through the jumble of emotions that Taehyung's impulsive kiss had stirred within her.
As the bell signaling the end of lunch rang out, Taehyung glanced around the now-empty cafeteria, his heart heavy with regret. He knew he had crossed a line, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had just made a mess of things – not just for himself, but for Hana as well.
With a heavy sigh, Taehyung rose from his seat, his friends following suit. As they made their way out of the cafeteria, he couldn't help but steal one last glance at the door through which Hana had disappeared.
--
As the days passed, Taehyung and Hana found themselves caught in a delicate dance of proximity and avoidance. There were moments of intense closeness, where their paths would intersect in unexpected ways, followed by abrupt withdrawals as the weight of their shared history hung heavy between them.
One such moment occurred during a school event, where Taehyung and Hana were assigned to work together on a project. As they sat side by side, their elbows occasionally brushing against each other, the air between them crackled with tension. Taehyung could feel the warmth of Hana's presence beside him, a comforting yet unsettling reminder of the connection they shared.
But as they delved deeper into their task, the conversation between them flowed easily, the barriers that had once stood between them crumbling away with each passing moment. Taehyung found himself laughing at Hana's dry wit, while Hana marveled at Taehyung's genuine enthusiasm for their project.
Yet, just as they began to relax into each other's company, a familiar pang of guilt washed over Taehyung, reminding him of the hurt he had caused Hana in the past. Sensing his discomfort, Hana withdrew slightly, her smile faltering as she retreated into herself once more.
Their interaction left Taehyung grappling with conflicting emotions – the desire to reach out to Hana, to bridge the gap between them, battling against the fear of causing her further pain. And so, despite the undeniable chemistry that simmered beneath the surface, they both retreated into their own respective worlds, their connection left unexplored and unresolved.
In the days that followed, Taehyung and Hana found themselves falling into a pattern of avoidance, their encounters becoming increasingly fleeting and strained. They would exchange polite nods in the hallway, their gazes skirting away from each other as if afraid to acknowledge the tension that lingered between them.
But amidst the awkwardness and uncertainty, there were fleeting moments of vulnerability – a shared glance across a crowded room, a hesitant smile exchanged in passing – that hinted at the depth of their unspoken connection.
--
The teasing began innocently enough, with Namjoon flashing Taehyung a knowing smirk during one of their late-night study sessions.
"So, Taehyung," Namjoon began casually, flipping through his textbook. "How's your little crush on Hana going?"
Taehyung felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment as he glanced around the room, hoping none of the other members had overheard. But to his dismay, Yoongi, who had been quietly scribbling notes in the corner, looked up with a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Yeah, Taehyung," Yoongi chimed in, his voice dripping with amusement. "We all saw that steamy kiss in the cafeteria. Got anything to say about that?"
Taehyung's face turned an even deeper shade of red as he sputtered for a response. Before he could come up with a suitable comeback, Hoseok and Jimin burst into the room, their laughter echoing off the walls.
"What's so funny, guys?" Hoseok asked, his grin widening as he caught sight of Taehyung's flushed face.
Namjoon wasted no time filling Hoseok and Jimin in on the latest gossip, much to Taehyung's chagrin. Before long, the entire room was abuzz with speculation and teasing, with Jin joining in the fray as he entered the room with snacks in hand.
"Looks like our Taehyungie has a soft spot for Hana," Jin teased, winking at Taehyung as he passed out snacks to the rest of the group.
Taehyung buried his face in his hands, mortified by the attention. He knew his friends meant well, but their teasing only served to highlight the awkwardness between him and Hana, making it even harder for him to navigate his feelings.
As the teasing continued into the night, Taehyung couldn't help but wonder how he would ever be able to face Hana again without feeling like a complete fool. But deep down, amidst the laughter and teasing, he knew that his friends had his back – and that maybe, just maybe, there was hope for him and Hana yet.
--
The teasing from his friends continued in the days that followed, with every mention of Hana's name accompanied by a knowing look or a playful nudge. Taehyung couldn't escape the relentless ribbing, no matter how hard he tried to brush it off with a laugh or a witty retort.
One evening, as they gathered in Taehyung's room for a movie night, the topic inevitably turned to Hana once again. Taehyung tried to steer the conversation in a different direction, but his friends were relentless in their teasing.
"So, Taehyung, when are you going to make your move on Hana?" Jungkook piped up, earning a chorus of laughter from the group.
Taehyung groaned, sinking lower into his seat as he tried to deflect the attention away from himself. "Can we please talk about something else? Like, I don't know, the movie we're about to watch?"
But his protests fell on deaf ears, and soon the conversation was back on track, with each of his friends offering their own unsolicited advice on how to win Hana's heart.
As the movie played in the background, Taehyung found himself lost in thought, his mind drifting back to the kiss he and Hana had shared in the cafeteria. Despite the awkwardness that had followed, there was something undeniably electrifying about the moment – a spark of connection that lingered between them, waiting to be reignited.
Lost in his musings, Taehyung barely noticed when the movie ended and his friends began to drift off to bed. But as he prepared to turn in for the night, a nagging voice in the back of his mind reminded him that he couldn't keep avoiding the inevitable – he had to confront his feelings for Hana, no matter how daunting the prospect may be.
With a sigh, Taehyung climbed into bed, his mind swirling with thoughts of Hana and the uncertain future that lay ahead. Little did he know, his friends were already plotting their next move, determined to help him navigate the rocky terrain of love and friendship with Hana by his side.
--
One afternoon, during a particularly chaotic school event, Taehyung and Hana found themselves accidentally locked in a small storage cupboard. At first, they panicked, banging on the door and calling out for help. But as the initial panic subsided, they realized they were alone together in the confined space.
Taehyung's heart raced as he looked at Hana, their faces inches apart in the dim light of the cupboard. He could feel the heat of her breath on his skin, the proximity stirring something primal and undeniable within him.
Hana's apprehension melted away in the warmth of Taehyung's gaze, her heart fluttering with a mixture of fear and excitement. Despite her reservations, she couldn't deny the pull she felt towards him, the magnetic energy that seemed to draw them together.
In the silence of the cramped space, Taehyung reached out tentatively, his hand brushing against Hana's cheek. She shivered at his touch, her eyes fluttering closed as she leaned into his hand.
Their lips met in a tender, hesitant kiss, the passion building between them like a wildfire. Taehyung's heart soared as he lost himself in the sweetness of Hana's kiss, his hands tangling in her hair as he pulled her closer.
For what felt like an eternity, they were lost in each other, the world outside the cupboard fading away as they surrendered to the intensity of their desire.
When they were finally freed from their confinement, Taehyung and Hana emerged flushed and breathless, their hearts racing with the knowledge that something irrevocable had shifted between them.
From that day forward, Taehyung and Hana found themselves paired together in every project, their classmates and friends no longer able to ignore the undeniable connection that crackled between them.
As they navigated the ups and downs of their newfound feelings, Taehyung's feelings for Hana only deepened, bordering on obsession. He couldn't get enough of her, craving her presence like a drug that he couldn't quit.
But Hana remained cautious, her heart still guarded despite the passion that burned between them. She knew that giving in to Taehyung completely meant risking everything, but with each passing day, she found herself drawn closer to him, her walls crumbling in the face of his relentless pursuit.

“how long do we have?” part one
@investedreader @sweetempathprunetree @darkuni63 @momnomnom @bangtans-momma @chimmy-licious @princess-sunshyn @
word count: 3.707 warning: smut, affair/cheating, dirty talking, jin is conniving and sneaky, but he's also kind when he wants to be, car sex, kissing, unprotected sex, creampie, dirty talk, licking, face-slapping
kinktober masterlist - early release :3
“No.” Jin scoffs, not raising his eyes to look at his elder brother. “You know we’ve been extra busy. We have deadlines coming up.”
“I've never asked for a day off.” his brother responds with a frustrated sigh. “I already missed our anniversary.”
Jin halts his writing, slowly lifting his eyes to his brother. He sits in his office, the quiet scenery was something he always enjoyed on the days he was supposed to be at work. However, his brother has ruined that for him once more - this time infiltrating his office demanding requests.
“You didn’t miss your anniversary, brother. You forgot it.” Jin scoffs, tossing his pen aside and leans back into his office chair. “There’s a difference.”
“You overwork me and I barely have time to eat or sleep.” his brother grits through his teeth. “I never forgotten before-”
“But yet you have.” Jin waves his brother off. “And I don’t like your tone, either, brother. Have you forgotten just who you’re speaking with?”
Jin would never allow him to forget. For months he had allowed his brother to overwork him to the bone to pay off his debts. He appreciated his brother for allowing him and you to stay with him, allowed him to drive his cars and allowed him to have the highest paid job his company offered. Only it was such a high demanding job, as well, that required him at all hours of the day for weeks on end.
On his off days, he was far too tired. He recalls the times he and you would spend together - the dates he would take you on. Even if they were simple dates such as movies or walks in the park, to the restaurants and expensive vacations. He missed you - his wife - who could barely manage to look at him most times.
He could never blame you and he is positive that you’re growing to despise him. He had no time for you and it was entirely his fault. He had gone bankrupt and completely broke. It was his wrongdoings that caused him to lose his job, the house, car - everything. It was embarrassing to bring his wife into another man's home, even if it was his brother.
With the amount of work he busied himself with, he realized that he’s come to neglect you and your needs. You and he no longer slept in the same bed. He cannot remember when he had a home-cooked meal from you that was hot instead of warmed up after a long day.
“No, brother.” he murmurs, defeated. “I…I just don’t want to lose my wife.”
Jin wants to laugh, to cackle in the face of his older brother. Of course he didn’t want to lose you, but he has already.  You were left alone the majority of your time and that only meant that you had more time for him - the brother that didn’t leave you broke and bankrupt. Over time, you’ve grown to enjoy your time together. He would say it began after Valentine’s Day after your time with him. He had spent thousands to assure you had the gifts he felt you deserve - the gifts his brother couldn’t take time off to give you.
“She’s still there, isn’t she?” Jin questions. “After you’ve gone bankrupt?”
Jin watches the way his brother faces drops, biting the inside of his cheek. He cracks a smug grin and nods his head. “She is, brother. She isn’t going anywhere.”
Jin crosses his arms and tilts his head. “Besides, her birthday must’ve not been that important to you.”
“Of course it does!”
“If that was so, you would’ve requested the weekend off instead of trying to do it the day before.” Jin raises one brow and he wants to scoff, but he doesn’t want to appear too harsh to his brother. “You’re a last minute person, brother. Have you forgotten that you were needed in the meeting at our partner company?”
It was intentional, of course. He knew his brother would be too caught up in work that he would forget your birthday until the last minute. He understood that it would take his brother far too long to realize just what he was going to do, and by then he had since already planned for his brother to be away for the entire day.
Without you.
“You have hundreds of staff that-”
“You,” Jin roughly slams his hand onto his desk. Several items scattered across his desk bounces but it causes his brother to fall silent. “are who I pay to go to these meetings, brother. You get paid handsomely for the amount of work I give you.”
He remains silent, his eyes blinking away from his younger brother and slowly he nods. There was no arguing with Jin - he was the man who signed his checks at the end of it all. He understands that what his brother says is true - he should have requested the necessary days off, but he also wished that he could get a little weight cut off his shoulders.
“Anything else?” Jin sighs. “I have to get through this paperwork by the end of the night, brother. Your ticket is bought."
Witnessing his brother shake his head sullenly, Jin nods. “Good. The meeting starts in…” Jin checks his watch. “In about an hour. You should get going, brother.”
He doesn’t say anything else and instead makes his way out of the office. Jin could only scoff at how pathetic his brother was. To be the eldest but yet always depend on his younger brother.
Jin had tried to warn you countless times that his brother was not the one for you - that he couldn’t provide for you; especially since technically he was. He had missed Valentine’s day, your anniversary and now your birthday.
Sure, it was Jin’s doing by scheduling him to work extra on certain days, but if he truly desired to be with you, nothing would stop him , right?
Right.
Jin taps his foot against the ground, his mind thinking back to just how long he could have you to himself if he ever decide to send his brother on a weekend work trip. He could wake up to you without you worrying about if your husband would come to your bedroom to look for you. He could hold you closer at night and inhale your sweet aroma; your favorite perfume you’d douse yourself with. He would get to wake up to you after a long night of fucking you into submission.
Tumblr media
“You look beautiful.”
Your eyes flicker up from your drink to Kim Seokjin. Your lips turn to a low smile at his compliment.
“You look sad.” Jin takes a sip of his wine and raises his brow. “Why is that? Is my restaurant not enough?”
You roll your eyes.
You were disappointed - but never surprised - when you realized your husband would be missing your birthday this year. You’ve come to celebrate most things without him, but you were never truly alone.
Seokjin always made sure to accompany you and after a while, your fear for him slowly lessened. You would joke around with him just as much as he would you. You enjoyed his company even if it was outside of sex.
Sure, you still felt terrible after it all. You were cheating on your husband, but he didn’t make it any better. Him never being around was what made it easier - but you could blame Jin for that as your husband wasn’t the one who set his own hours.
“Of course it’s enough.” you respond. “It’s a five star restaurant that you closed tonight just for my birthday.”
This is a restaurant you could never afford to go to alone as of late. One of the many businesses Jin owned, this restaurant was a spot that was always littered with wealthy individuals and it was difficult to find a table without a reservation. You could only imagine the money lost by being closed earlier than usual.
“Your birthday is a special day that deserves to be celebrated.”
“At least one of the Kim brothers agrees.”
You take a deep breath. You shouldn’t be angered with your husband - not now. Remember that it isn’t his fault; not completely. At the end of the day, you were just as bad as him. You know what Jin wants from you - the same thing that you were giving to him willingly.
“Thank you, Jin.”
Your eyes connect with Jin’s as you take a sip of your wine. You and he were alone in the restaurant, him having sent everyone home. The meal was cooked by him entirely, an act you had laughed at when he told you. “We could’ve stayed home if that was the case” was your response to him. However, the act warmed your heart.
“Thank you for joining me.” Jin sets his wine glass down and picks up his chopsticks to eat. “It doesn’t look like I dragged you here tonight.”
You snicker. “You’re funny.” you murmur. It’s true, however, that you don’t appear to be as frightened as before. You were walking on eggshells and allowing Seokjin to do whatever he desired because of how frightened you were of being kicked out.
Now, however, it’s evident that Seokjin had no true intentions of letting you go. It’s an adrenaline rush for him to do what he does with you behind closed doors; an ego boost, as well.
You continue to drink the expensive wine, enjoying the moment of serenity. The music is low, but it’s nice. You hum along to it, nodding your head a bit as you continue to revel in the experience.
“Do you….do you want to dance?”
Your eyes flutter open at Jin’s question, realizing that your food and his is already eaten and you’re slightly buzzed due to all the wine. He has an amused look on his face as he watches you.
“Dance?” you snort. “You dance?”
“You couldn’t see me on the dancefloor, Y/N.” Jin jokes. “You’re drinking yourself tipsy as we speak. We’re the only ones here…”
Jin’s chair squeaks as he pushes himself back from the table and lifts himself up. He holds out his hand for you to take. You’re truly skeptical of dancing with him, even if it was something juvenile. Or maybe it’s because it felt more intimate; more than just two terrible humans being in an affair.
Jin licks his lips at the way your eyes look up at him. They’re clouded thanks to the wine, but they’re staring right through him the way they always do.
“You better not let me fall in these heels.” you mumble, taking his hand in your own and allowing him to help you up.
Jin only chuckles at your words. He doesn’t take you far from the table until he’s holding you close. The music isn’t upbeat for you two to dance faster than you are, but even if it was it’s a different world you and he are in.
“To the untrained eye…” you look up towards Jin and scoff. “...someone might think you’re in love.”
You’re only teasing him. You’re positive that Jin does have a sort of love for you - in a ‘I’m fucking my sister-in-law’ way - that you have for him. He does allow you to live for free in his home and drive his cars. The gifts he buys you are expensive just as they are unexpected.
“Oh?” Jin raises a brow. “What would make people think Kim Seokjin was in love?”
Jin grasps both of your hands as he hears the music change to a song that's more upbeat. He begins to raise your arms up to dance along with him, to wave them from side to side.
“I never seen Kim Seokjin dance before.” you catch yourself laughing at how idiotic you two possibly look. “Or have any type of fun.”
“Ah,” Jin’s eyes widened a bit. “you make me sound like an old, grumpy man that has no fun.”
You don’t respond - it’s all the response you need.
You weren’t accustomed to this Jin - the carefree man who’s laughing as the two of you dance around the empty restaurant, spinning and twirling. It’s a new sight from the usual reserved and, oftentimes, cold individual he usually is.
It’s a refreshing sight to behold, truly. It made Jin more human, you think. Sure, you were no longer afraid of the man, but witnessing him smiling and laughing is still a breath of fresh air.
Suddenly, Jin turns you around so that his chest is against your back.
“Do you like gardening?” Jin asks.
“What do you mean?” you ask. You swallow, once again the music changes to a more calm tempo. “That’s a random question.”
“You usually tend to garden.” Jin states. “You’ve been planting flowers all around. You’ve even added a few inside the home.”
You nod slowly. You lean your head back to lean against him. “I do like gardening. It keeps me occupied.” you then shrug. “Is that a problem? You and your brother tend to have allergies.”
It’s true. Jin finds himself sneezing a bit more due to all the pollen inside the home, yet he doesn’t complain. He’s decided that taking allergy medication was best seeing as content you appeared to be when you watered the plants inside the home. “If it was a problem I would’ve gotten rid of them.”
You roll your eyes.
“I do think someone like you should have a greenhouse.” Jin sits his chin on top of your head. “I have ordered one to be placed in tomorrow. Think of it as…a birthday gift.”
You turn around to face him quickly - so quick that it almost gives you motion sickness.
“Well…say thank you.” Jin is taken aback by your reaction; or lack of one. “Are you alright?”
“You…are getting me a greenhouse?” you murmur, trying to understand him fully. “All because I like gardening?”
Jin blinks.
“Yes?” Jin is unsure if that was the right decision or not. “It’s something you’d like to do, is it not? It’s large enough for you to grow more than just flowers-”
Jin is interrupted by the loud sound of a ringtone. He turns his eyes to where your phone is sitting on the table. You and he aren’t too far from him to witness the name on your phone.
“Your husband’s calling.”
Jin wants to tell you to not answer it - that if you didn’t, it wouldn’t raise alarms - but he doesn’t.
“R…Right.” you click your tongue and move yourself from Jin. You grasp your ringing phone and for a moment contemplate actually sending it to voicemail.  “Yes?” you answer the phone, not an ounce of emotion in your tone.
“Baby. Hey.” your husband sounds apologetic. “I know you’re mad at me for missing your birthday but I managed to get out of the meeting on time.”
Jin is directly behind you as he hears his brother speak and he scoffs to himself.
“Did you?” you swallow.
“Yes. I know you’ve been wanting to try that new restaurant.” your husband speaks on the other end. “I’ve made a reservation for later tonight. I should be back in another hour.”
Jin understands that he technically couldn’t be upset with his brother for having luck on his side. He couldn’t be upset that his brother was trying to spend time with his wife on her birthday.
However, Jin was upset. He was pissed that his brother was ruining the moment you and he were having, no matter if he had the right to be or not.
“I can’t wait.” you murmur, clenching your phone tight in your hand. “See you then.”
Just as you hang up your phone, you can feel Jin directly behind you. His hand snakes around your waist, pressing you against him.
“How long do we have?” Jin murmurs against your ear; a low tone that causes goosebumps to ride up your skin.
It happens entirely too fast. Jin dragged you to his car. It isn’t ideal for him, but he didn’t have enough time like he intended.
You don’t care either way, finding that even you were craving Jin at this moment and not a minute later. Your lips crash along with his tongue dancing along with one another. It’s hot and wet, just like this moment you and he were sharing.
“No time for foreplay this time.” you say between rushed kisses, your hands going to tug at his belt.
“You know foreplay is my favorite.” Jin sighs in protest.
“We only have a little under an hour, Jin.” you shake your head.
“Fine.” Jin grumbles. “One condition is all I ask from you.”
Jin’s hands are sliding beneath your dress, embracing the smoothness of your skin. He shudders with a groan. His slender fingers find your panties and he proceeds to push them aside. “I’m gonna cum in you.” Jin murmurs. “I want you to keep my cum in you while you’re with your husband.”
Your hand is tugging at his cock, a need to have it inside of you.
“Speak.” Jin demands.
“Yes.” you nod your head in agreement. “I will.”
“Good.”
It’s easy when you’re already wet. Jin always did this to you when he spoke with a certain tone of voice along with the correct authority.
You center Jin at your entrance, slowly allowing him inside of you. Both of his hands are atop of your hands and he licks his plump lips as you sit on top of him fully.
“Shit…” you and Jin say in unison and at any given moment you’d laugh about it; but there was no time now.
Your hands place themselves onto his shoulders, fingers gently digging into his shirt and you begin to buckle your hips.
Jin wants to feel more of you. He’s accustomed to having you naked in the comfort of his bedroom, not rushed in a cramp car. He supposed beggars can't be choosers.
Jin’s hand squeezes your hips encouragingly, his eyes fixed on the way his cock disappears inside your pussy with each bounce you do on top of him. He’s panting, probably going to regret not turning on the car for some air first - but fuck it.
“Ah…” Jin’s eyes turn to your face. Your head is leaned back slightly as you continue to fuck yourself, mouth slightly agape. “...to the untrained eye someone might think you’re in love. Especially the way you’re fucking yourself.”
Jin doesn’t allow you to respond. Instead, his hands go to grip your neck roughly to force you to look at him. He begins to thrust upward, meeting your hips halfway and allowing his cock to plunge deeper inside of you.
You hiss at the newfound pleasure, your eyebrows knitting together to focus. You lick your lips once Jin’s words register in your mind and the way he throws your teasing back at you.
“It makes you feel dirty doesn’t it?” Jin continues, his lips pecking your neck. “Fucking your brother-in-law in the backseat of his car. Anyone could just come by and see us.”
Your pussy clenches at Jin’s words. It does make you feel dirty - adrenaline boosting. You haven’t felt anything like it before with your husband in years. But the idea of being caught was always such a rush, especially with the person you’d be caught with.
“I think you love doing this with me, huh?”
You nod your head, biting your lip. The car is full of pants and aggressive skin slapping.
“You love it, too.” you moan, allowing Jin to take over completely. Your right hand grips his shoulders for support. “That’s why you keep coming back for more.”
Jin groans, the grip on your neck only tightening. He’s appreciative of your words and the way you were only growing more comfortable with this affair; he would be honest and say what it was instead of sugar coating it.
“It’s not like my brother’s fucking you.” Jin grunts. “It’s a shame you’re on birth control, Y/N. It’d be funny to see you pregnant with my child and have to explain to your husband who fucked it into you.”
You clench your eyes shut, juices leaking onto Seokjin’s cock by the second.
“My idiot brother wouldn’t suspect a thing. He wouldn’t know it’s mine. Wouldn’t that be funny, Y/N?”
Jin couldn’t tell you the issues he had with his own brother - at least he couldn’t face them aloud to himself. A therapist would tell him that he was jealous of his brother. That even if Kim Seokjin had it all - fortune, notoriety and fame, he didn’t have you. He didn’t have a wife like his idiot older brother; a wife that stayed regardless of his financial situation - even if said wife was with him tonight.
You yelp upon feeling a slap onto your cheek. It stings, sure, but it’s the sting that causes you to cum.
“Yes, sir.” you gasp, knowing full well what Jin wanted to hear.
Jin grunts, eyes dark and clouded with lust and adoration for you. He embraces you with both arms and begins to thrust sloppily, fully intended on cumming inside of you. He couldn’t have you all to himself - yet - but he could still have you in ways that his brother wouldn’t know about.
“Gonna cum so deep in you.” Jin hisses. “Mark you as my own. I want you to sit there with your husband with my cum in you.”
Jin cums hard, his legs twitching. You fall against the back of the passenger seat for support, panting to yourself.
Jin doesn’t remove himself from you until he’s softening. His head sits against the back seat as he attempts to catch his breath.
“We have 20 minutes to get home.” you murmur, wishing you’d told your husband to raincheck as you were growing sleepy.
You fix yourself, placing your panties back to where they belong. You can feel his cum daring to be released, staining your panties in the process.
Just as you were going to remove yourself from atop of him, Jin grasps your wrist.
“Jin-”
“Happy birthday.” Jin murmurs, his eyes fluttering open.
Your eyes soften, nodding slowly. “Thank you…” you respond lowly.

The three knight was relived to find Hoseok and his company amidst off the celebration, he explained that once every year on specific day everyone in the town gathers around heart of town exchange foods, clothes as well as any item they deem worthy of sharing, throughout the years it developed into a grand festival in the village, the festival was just reminder that everyone is equal and importance of kindness, compassion and happiness.
the town was buzzing with chatter and music, everyone was laughing exchanging goodness among each other.
Hoseok and the three knights were sitting down inside the liquor shop sipping wine, enjoying the pure happiness radiating from the people around them. On the other side was Ameon surrounded by young men and women who eagerly listing to his words daydreaming life in the castle. For some it felt like a destiny an honor to serve the royal family and to some it is new opportunity, a new life the curiosity to know what is like outside there home.
“Are you not participating Hoseok?” yoongi ask making the said male smile as the knight was silent for some time while the other two was laughing and chatting off
“Oh no, I do not think its for me” he said with a smile
Jimin and Jungkook who now listening them stare at Hoseok in confusion “why? Is it a one-time opportunity?”
“Yeah, are not curious to know about life outside your town?” jimin adds
He looks at the guards with a tilted head, a longing look on his face “of Couse, I always wanted to know and see the castle how was life in there. But this is my town, my home I have everything I needed here so why should I leave?”
“You satisficed with your life here” yoongi said with small smile
“Yes, I am” Hoseok said with a bright smile in distance his father calls him he node his head at his father and shift his attention back to the knights “l will take my leave now, enjoy our festival”
The three-knight watch as Hoseok leave “that’s a one happiest man I ever seen” jimin said before adding “expect the royal advisers”
“yeah” Jungkook scoff at the comment before sighing.
He and jimin go back drinking as Yoongi once again lost in thought glance back at Amon then to Hoseok and his father, they look like they’re having a heated conversation. “Why do l feel we will see him again” he said as take another sip, long finger delicately wrapped around the glass
Jimin and Jungkook glance at each other in confusion before shrugging “guess we just have to wait and late the fate plays its game” Jungkook mummers
Tumblr media
“I am not going?”
“What do you mean you are not going?”
“It is simple father; I am staying not going “Hoseok almost rolls his eyes at his father’s word
Irritated with his son’s response he tugs him away from everyone, Hoseok allows him to do he rather not display the drama to everyone and ruin the good time
“Son do you not understand the fortune? With your skill you could become one of best knight my son. I heard that recruitment of knights also happening, you will regret later if you let this chance go in vain”
He thinks for a moment making his father sigh in relief “no I do not think I will” his father takes a minute register his word before shaking his head
“This for your own good son, you will have better life there”
At his father defeated voice Hoseok walk closer towards “I am not being ungrateful father nor am I being disrespectful to you. I am happy here father, this is my home I don’t want to leave this behind for a life that I don’t know we do not know how true that is”
“I can only say its your life son”
“I am content with my life here father” Hoseok smile at his father as he pats on his shoulder and walk away letting out a sigh, he sits down on the ground looking at the sky, when the last sun ray was fading a smile creeped upon his face as he stands up and fix his hair and attire before walking into the woods.
“We are following him, right?” Jungkook question jimin and yoongi as he watches Hoseok walks into the woods his question was answered when the two starts to slowly trails towards.
Uncontainable happiness and energy suddenly hit Hoseok the thought of seeing you giving him a boost to starts skip towards yours home, unknowingly making the men who following him puzzled at sudden cheerfulness in his demeaner. He makes quick stop and when he sees some wild flower of light colors, he crouches down near flowers before carefully selecting some of red, pink, white and yellow, blue, purple beautiful ones and arranging them in order before using a plant vine to tie the flowers stem together.
He examines his quick work with a satisfied smile before standing up and fixing his hair and dress and starts to walk towards slight slope way behind three lost knights share an unsure glance before yoongi shrugs his shoulders and the three continue to follow him Curiosity filling them pushing to walk forward.
Hoseok smile warmly at the home as the knights also stands behind him “so who lives here in the woods?” Jungkook whisper softly in a dreamy state Hoseok whisper back your name before freezing and jump at the presence of the three knight a shriek escaping from him.
“What are you guys doing here? Why are you here? Were you following me?” Hoseok throw questions after questions at them perplexed look on his face.
“What you so afraid off us being here?” yoongi voiced a suspicious glint in his eyes making him sweat at ice look on the knight
Nervously he laughs body twisting side to side “who is afraid me? Me …no heavens never”
Jimin utter your name as if testing the name on his tongue gawking at Hoseok “who is that. Is the flowers foe this y/n?”
Hoseok throws the flower away “what flowers...... I do not see any flowers….” The three looks at Hoseok with a blank look on their face Jungkook walks towards the flower and pick it admire it gently brush away   up as jimin roll his eyes at Hoseok.
“You know we should head back to town” Hoseok starts walk backwards look at the three knights but they stand there.
Jungkook who closer to the house as the door open, he cautiously the walk closer towards with his dominant hand on his sword and other hand hold the flower “y/n is a deer?” Jungkook voice make them snap their head towards the door of home the deer walk freely as it owns the place when Hoseok walks towards the deer enthusiastically move towards him, he lean down with clam smile on his face and run his hands on the deer back giving it a rub the three knights watch this scene.
“Who are you?” your question startling Jungkook making him draw his sword as well as Jimin and yoongi, Hoseok yell at him to stop quick in his feet’s standing in front of you.
“Put that down” for the first time they see Hoseok furious words firm and eyes sharp giving the knights whiplash at the shift of persona. “She is harmless now put that down”
Yoongi observes Hoseok, seems like he is ready to fight if it is necessary, it’s obvious in his stances even though the three Can over power him quickly. He tries to look pass him to glance the she in question but Hoseok shifts his body completely hiding her no y/n from his view.
Yoongi node at jimin and Jungkook and lower the sword. “Hoseok is everything alright?” you tug on his tunic; he turns his body towards you gives you a reassuring smile. “Who are they?”
He glances back at them and stand beside you perceive the three knights each stand with certain aura of fairness and grace, the one draw eye shows the apologetic for his action, the other second one was filled with confusion and curiosity while last one was didn’t betray his emotion you tilt your head at last one in confusion as you only known expressive Hoseok face its puzzled you, urge to know what is behind the walls one that one peculiar knight.
Hoseok, seeing you take a long look at yoongi, clear his throat and have satisfice smile once he sees your attention, walking towards you with guilty expression “I did not welcome them to come with to your place, they followed me”
Jimin’s and Jungkook’s eyes wide at the sudden betrayal “we did not do such thing” Hoseok glare at them as jimin trail of “we were just making sure you are alright”. The two was only received Hoseok side eye.
While Hoseok was glaring down at jimin, Jungkook take this opportunity to apologies to you “forgive me for impulsiveness, I mean no harm my lady” he offers the flower to you. Hoseok watch in disbelief as Jungkook offers you his flowers and you accepting them with small smile, these two will be his headache that sure.
“You can call me my name”
“Are you the crazy girl lives in the woods” yoongi tilt his head at you
“Hey don’t talk to her like that” Hoseok was quick to interfere
While you just smile at him “crazy girl huh, here I thought I was witch”
“Do not feed their amusement y/n” Hoseok said with stern voice he knows even though you put on mask of unbothered inside you hurt at the words of people, you just watch him with adoration in your eyes
“Forgive me Hoseok, are you still willing to take to the festival”
A bright smile all that you needed.
Tumblr media
Loud. Loud was the word that describe the festival state, people’s heartly laughs, Childrens yells and young women and men dancing to the music that playing one conner. Everyone was lively and happiness radiated from them.
Hoseok successfully takes you away from the three knights, he admires the way you watch the crowd with twinkling eyes, looking beautiful as ever even though you asked if you look decent enough to attend the festival in your worn-out clothes while you were walking toward the town.
He could tell you are still cautious about the way you look; he saw the way glance at the young women dance around in nice clothes so he couldn’t help but pull you to one of the shops which sell clothes hopefully they have something that you like and he could make you fully content.
“Come on this will be fun” Hoseok was bouncing on his toes with excitement
“What if they did not like me enter the shop?” you look around so far no one made a comment about you, you doubt someone even saw you coming everyone is lost in the celebration but still you never can be too careful
“Do not worry about the pretty head of yours” Hoseok takes your hands in yours “everything will be alright; I will be with you”
You could never deny him, with reluctance you let him take you the shop. The shop owner was drowning in booze.
“we just have to a little sneaky” Hoseok eyes was filled with mischievous as he put a finger on his lips, his other hand grasp your as he sneaks the both you inside the shop.
“This is so wrong” you said with a smile on your face
“That is why you need to be quick and pick some things before someone come” he gently pushes you further. You shake your head at his antics “now do not come out without something you like” a false stern looks on his face as he tries to conceal his grin from breaking out but fails. He can never pretend Infront of you.
You watch as he exits closing the curtains on his way
“Are you stealing now” Hoseok almost let out a scream at yoongi question his chest heaves pressing his hands on his chest he steadies himself.
He narrows his eyes at the knights “are you seriously following us now?”
“Yes, we are” Jungkook answer truthfully
“Is she yours?” jimin asks Hoseok as he take seat on the table where the owner of the shop is passed out
Hoseok rubs his neck nervously “well she is mine?” it came out more of a question than statement
“Are you asking us or telling us?” yoongi asks
“Why does she live up there not in the town?” jimin voice his confusion
“So, she is not your partner?” Jungkook ask Hoseok making the male narrow his eyes at the younger
Hoseok looks at them with irritation “first we are not stealing we are just borrowing” he glances at jimin “she can leave anywhere as she pleases” eyes moving towards Jungkook in stern voice he state “not yet.  I am planning on telling her tonight” he said with a confident smile
But it crumbles away when you set up out “tell me what Hoseok?”.
(choose this or that )
Hoseok was quick to put a confident face, he tries to effortlessly look charming by leaning on the table, with jimin sitting and guy partially laying on it the old table couldn’t hold the three grown men as it all broke by the leg quickly.
You gasp covering your mouth eyes wide, the drunken man drowsily wakes up starts look around, Jungkook was quick on his feet leap towards you and grab your wrist together you and him flee out the scene yoongi was also disappeared quickly leaving Jimin and hoseok run after them.
“Are you not punishing me for stealing?” you ask the knight standing Infront of you
“Well, I have helped you escape didn’t you and both culprit of the crime” a smug smile graces his charming face “beside I won’t dream of hurting a lady”You hum with an impressed look on your face.
Jungkook tip of ear start to redden as taken your appearance you look like just normal maiden in the festival but somehow you feel more than just that.
He knows that the you are not the most beautiful women he ever seen but there is something captivating about you.
He cannot figure it out, it's just appears to him that you walked in and everything he ever know and learned achieved seems held no value to him.
He cannot even say how gorgeous you are .
No royal fabrics or ornaments doesn't match the mesmerizing essence of beauty and elegance that of you in simple dress with an innocent smile on your face.
While jungkook was enthralled by you. behind you annoyed hoseok give Jungkook a glare seems like the bunny boy need to take care of.
yoongi sigh at the both males. Jimin was leaning on hoseok after all the walk and now the small rendezvous he is tired.
Hoseok push of Jimin from him making the male whine, hoseok suddenly pop in between you giving the knight a side eye puzzling the him turn to you with a happy smile “come on, let me show you around”
You beam at everything around you with a childlike curiosity, hoseok had hooked his arms around yours stating that you might get lost if he let go. The moon was shining down dark could never looked so beautiful sky glittered with stars cold breeze was soothing the night felt so unreal to him maybe it was not the mesmerizing night maybe it is just you near him making him on cloud nine Hoseok take you his shop, he was eager to show his work place as you both entered the shop it almost like you two enter on another universe.
“Hoseok this is beautiful” you said looking around, everywhere was the flowers that you and hoseok found, from white to black flowers was arranged in specific order according to size and shape and color of the flower small lambs in between here and there light shining reflated by yellow tinted glass plants and pots floral ornaments pollan and aroma of flowers was hang in the air.
He can feel his heart raising as he know what is about happen. There is so many things could go wrong. You could cruelly reject him. You might end up cutting off him from your entire life. Maybe you might want someone else someone who is more charming, brave , confident and less annoying like jungkook or jimin.
Years of years of insecurity come in surface. Maybe you just putting up with him for the sake of it and inside you're just tired of him like everyone.
God this is so nerve wrecking.
But there is also a chance you might accept him and he is willing to take it.
Why waste time when he know it can might lead to something that worth so much more than gold and diamond, something priceless, something he can cherish and adore his upcoming days.
You were looking around and admiring the beauty around you when hoseok took your hands in his making you halt with a furrowed eyebrow you glance at he takes a deep breath “y/n I want to tell you something, I don’t think I can keep it in any longer”
Slightly concerned and perplexed you give a nervous smile “you can tell me anything Hobi”
That name calms him a bit “y/n …I” the door opening making both of you glance at it.
The last person he wants to see stand there.
This is going to be a long night.

Inconspicuous Glance's
Chapter One ~ the first glance [M] ( ❥ ) ( ✔ )
— pairing: taehyung x seokjin
— genre: romance, mystery, drabble, fluff, smut.
— ° ☆★▪︎~▪︎☆★▪︎~▪︎☆★ ° —
Summary: Two neighbours, one in a world of blue hues and the other in a world of yellow hues. The world of blue is cold and lonely, and the world of yellow is warm and inviting. They catch a glance and from there, more glances follow.
— ° ☆★▪︎~▪︎☆★▪︎~▪︎☆★ ° —
Hello, hopefully, you enjoy this fic. The scenes should follow a loose sort of collection of scenes. This fic is drabble and all parts following will be short and should give the sense of glimpses of an exchange between these two characters.
Another detail I'd like to add to this part of the series is the presence of a gender-neutral character. Which character is gender-neutral will become more clear in later scenes. I wanted the atmosphere to be mysterious and somewhat cloudy. I wanted it to elicit a sense of questioning instead of a clear picture and make the reader inquisitive about the story.
— ° ☆★▪︎~▪︎☆★▪︎~▪︎☆★ ° —
The sound of bare feet slapping against vinyl floors echoes down the corridor.
From the corner of their eye, they catch a glimpse of bare skin.
The skin belonging to the body in the house across the lawn.
They skid to a stop and their chest rises and falls in rapid succession.
Sheer curtains obstruct their view, a breeze sways the material.
More skin is visible to their eye, up-up-up until their neighbour's shirt is tugged off their upper body.
Their toned abdomen is now on full display, with corded muscle and toned pecs feeding prying eyes.
Their complexion is a honey tan deepened by the yellow hue of their lamp.
Inching closer their brown nipples are pebbled and like following an unknown path, their eyes stop at the button of their jeans.
Long slender fingers pinch together the fabric that is grasped between the pads of their fingers and just like that the button pops open.
They tug down their jeans and white boxer briefs, visible enough to see with imagination what lies within.
A puff of warm breath fogs up the glass, realization follows and with a silent gasp the very same feet tumble backwards.
Then all too quickly they flee, cheeks tinged a blossoming pink.
