The “unforeseen hurdle” is Eddie going down to Texas to get Christopher but recognizing that his parents haven’t done anything in 3+ months to help work through his anger & have actually intentionally fanned that flame, so he picks Chris up but gives him a choice to come home or stay with Buck and go to therapy and work as a team to confront their issues, & Chris obviously stays with Buck & Tommy struggles with that.

Will this happen in the show?? I have no idea, I highly doubt it, BUT I would read the SHIT out of it as a fic.

Ideas of poly bts x reader:

Dating and eventually getting married to Namjoon and jungkook being upset because he liked him first. However, the more time Jungkook spends with you, the more he begins to develop feelings for you as well.

Hobi getting a partner who’s basically a carbon copy of him. Yoongi gets attached to you both, but prefers to watch yall blossom from the sidelines. That is until you start leaving him little hints of wanting a third.

V, Jimin, and Jungkook decide to stop making you the fourth wheel and let you join the poly fun.

Next door neighbors Namjin who live a picturesque life. It makes you sick how in love they are, especially when you start developing feelings for the house husband Jin. Although, he has been very friendly as of late.

I had this really sad Jungkook x reader , reader x Taehyung fic idea like FOREVER ago and I probably won’t write it now because like it’s sooo sad for me to think about it and the premise so upsetting in my soul but I thought I might as well tell it! 🫢

Basically the idea was is it’s a story told in two timelines, and I would break the chapters up like this because the two points in time would spawn from the same first chapter vvv

That’s the idea, but basically the first chapter would be you are in an established relationship with Jungkook. Taehyung is bff but has been in love with you forever. 😗

You and Jungkook are engaged but Tae in the start of this chapter decides to confess his love for you because he feels like he can’t continue without you knowing (and maybe you will pick him.) when this happens Jungkook kind of walks in on it happening. 🥲

This causes a fight between the three of you and then you get Tae to leave and then it’s just a fight between you and Jungkook and it’s a BIG fight. Jungkook ends up storming out, well the night goes on and he is not coming home and no one has seen him. So you wait and wait and then you call Tae to help you find him because this is all his fault and he owes you. You find out Jungkook is in the hospital and unfortunately… Jungkook dies because of a car accident. 😭

And that would be chapter one! From there the story splits — on Taehyung sides it’s everything that happens after Jungkook dies, so the grief and his massive amounts of guilt he feels and the pain you are in and after years of time you eventually fall in love with each other and you finally let go of Jungkook and your sadness and you also sort of blame Tae (again, years) 🤧

The other half of the split would be moving backwards in time for you and Jungkook, so we would be seeing your relationship in reverse, the engagement and the whole wonderful relationship you and Jungkook had together until the first chapter was the first time you met and how like sparkling and wonderful it was. 🥹

And each chapter on both sides of the timeline would have things that make sense together. So like Taehyungs last chapter is you and Taehyung finally end up together after so much time and work, while it’s the first chapter you and Jungkook meet and fall in love with each other instantly.

Anyways thank you for letting me ramble I needed to get this out there

Half Baked #3

Title: MUSCLE MEMORY

Cast: Boxer!Jeon Jungkook x FWB!OC/Reader

Plot: JK is a boxer and OC/Reader is his FWB that he hooks up with when he has a match in the area. No animosity form either side, they both have busy lives and know dating isn't in the books for them right now.

Notes:

He calls OC/R up, let's them know that he's going to be in town for a match that he books that little modern gothic a-frame cabin (he's obsessed with) out in the woods to meet her at afterwards. That they "can have sex in every bed".

So once OC/R gets off her happy hour shift at the bar, OC/R heads over with takeout in tow (because JK is always hungry especially after a match and a couple of intimate rounds in the bedroom).

OC/Reader is eating their takeout and watching the match on the tv.

The opponent is Seo Changbin and when they touch mitts in the ring, Changbin leans in for a peck which JK reciprocates.

-cue the rice from the hibachi falling out of OC/R mouth-

JK gets in late and OC/R asleep in the bed, wakes OC/R up with cuddling. Sleepy (consented) sex and mutual head.

His stomach growls and she reheats his food for him, -insert cute angry eating faces on Jeon Jungguk-

Cute bath session in soaker tub, where JK gets all pouty when they talk about Changbin.

I don’t know if I’m just imagining things but I feel like Olli and Aleksi are actually so close 🥺 for example I feel like they post so many pics together and I know they post with others too and it’s not a big deal but e.g. Olli has posted 5 pics with someone else this year and 3 of them are with Aleksi.. so it must mean something right?? 🥺 and I feel like they spend a lot of time together yk even ”outside the band” when they’re having a day off and they still do music (the remix) etc. together 😭

Would you mind talking about number 7 and 9, please? They look fun !

oooh i love that you asked about these two WIPs because 7 (space au) and 9 (hades and persephone au) are sci-fi and fantasy, aka the two genres i love most! you & i have something in common, anon 😎

#7 was inspired by the Black Mirror episode "beyond the sea" but 1000x less fucked up. let's just say that if this episode was an a03 fic, it would need trigger warnings bc of the trauma it causes.

in my story, yohan and gaon are two astronauts and the only people aboard a spaceship. machines run the ship except for tasks only humans can complete, like repairs. in-between fulfilling those tasks however, yohan and gaon go into mini hibernation states where, when they sleep, their minds connect to android versions of themselves back on earth. the androids look exactly like them and are controlled by gaon and yohan's minds from the ship but are incapable of sleep, eating, touch, or sex. having an android is how the two get to "live" life while their real selves are up in space.

halfway into their four-year long journey, gaon's family dies in a fire. his android gets destroyed too, so not only does he lose his family, he loses his real time connection to earth. he's awake on the spaceship when it's not designed for him to be, so it's lonely and cold and sterile.

enter yohan. until now, the two have only known each other in a professional capacity. following the tragedy, yohan spends more time awake so gaon isn't alone. lines begin to blur after yohan does this, compounded by his decision to let gaon neurally connect to the yohan android on earth, which means letting gaon experience things like sunlight again and birdsong but in yohan's skin.

it's a story about loss, loneliness, touch and love. i wrote it to have a plot twist that i don't particularly like anymore so i'm moving this further down the WIP list until inspiration strikes again

#9 was originally supposed to be a cut and dry retelling of the Greek myth featuring gaon as persephone. he genuinely falls in love with yohan but with a plot twist. but i came across some TGCF content that's giving me new ideas, so i may take this in a different direction.
