But why does Bongo insist on Jikook when it's clear taekook are more popular? Tae probably doesn't want to participate in this fanfic curated by Bongo himself. In AYS, it was pretty clear how JK deflected Jm's advances sometimes, pushing and shoving him, and exposing him of lying. Maybe he grew tired as well. Now that I think about it, it's crazy how Jm is being pushed by the company so much. He gets the most lines in their songs (only 2nd to JK sometimes), he gets the most bangtan bomb contents, being pushed in the west, like wow, really privileged. For JK, he deserves the push coz he's way talented and really has the popstar quality, but for the other guy? I don't understand the insane push though he's not even the most popular member. I can say he's only 3rd after Jk and Tae. There's something fishy going on in that company.

Because, for starters, Taehyung doesn’t wanna partecipate in anything like that. Secondly, Bang pd can’t stand Tae so he’s not gonna make something that could give him the spotlight somewhere. Thirdly, he already was in variety so I guess they said “enough”.

Bang pd loves Jm so it doesn’t surprise me he gets all that, and Jm likes him too so.

Y’all there is no way I’m seeing some big ARMY accounts pushing 10mil for Jin’s debut… and that btsprotect account I called out before is one of the main ones, I’m crying 😭 of COURSE they are. I'm too lazy to post screenshots from their account but scrolling through and I'm seeing some wild takes - like apparently the 5mil filtered goal set by our fanbases is aiming LOW???

These specific ARMYs are clearly just doing all this because they got spooked by the numbers the BP members are pulling but it's actually sad how bothered some of them are. They're literally setting Jin up but they don't care because of this ego driven pissing contest. It's not even just about wanting to prove that the BTS members are the best for some of them, it's about wanting to prove that ARMYs are the best (biggest and most powerful fandom and all that).

ARMYtwt is a whole circus right now, omg. I fear things are going to get nasty if Jin doesn't debut with big numbers. But the way they drop all nuance and context regarding these chart conversations is so tired to me. I swear these people setting some of these "goals" must not actually stream because they have no idea what they're talking about. Also something something Jimin goalpost again (love when they specifically aim to beat one of his records but treat him like a random competitor and not a member of the same group lol. it's the specific way they do it, if you know what i mean, nothing wrong with aiming to do better each release).

tbh I thought the original goals were pretty reasonable so maybe the majority of ARMYs are more grounded on this than I'm giving credit. I have no clue what Jin might pull though. Fri(end)s pulled 4.7mil filtered iirc? And I feel like the normal range for these solo songs has been around 3.5-4.5mil, so 5mil feels like a solid goal. IDK it'll be interesting to see where the numbers land. I'm seeing a lot of hype and energy but at the end of the day it really depends on the song I think. It would be nice if this energy actually lead to something productive and ARMYs started getting it together again though.
