sometimes i wish i could just, like, blog a particular set of physical sensations without having to translate them into words first

not that often, because really i love the expressive artistic possibilities of wordsing and also most of the time i think my own particular idiolect is one of my greatest charms,¹ but, like. pat the blogger board book when, you know?

anyway the particular physical sensation i want to communicate at the moment is the one where like. you didn't get enough sleep and it's fucked up yr circulation,² so you're just absolutely shivering-shaky down to yr bones well beyond anything the weather would actually justify, so you take a steaming-hot shower and then pop yr damp pink self straight into thick comfy sweats and flop around feeling actively quite warm but in a way where it's like you're a reptile baking & basking in lovely dry heat and mammalian sweaty discomfort is, like, a failure mode unknown to yr species—

⸻ ¹ i mean every once in a while i instead have the opposite reaction and bounce really hard off it in an absolutely self-excoriating way, but i think that's just badbrains stuff really?? slash fundamentally not all voices are appropriate for all moods even if both mood and voice are a person's own ² which i think is like. not the way that works for everyone but it's pretty reliably how it works for me? my feet and hands go first and if i don't get myself to bed at that point then eventually i just get chilled right thru like a gay little otter pop

you sit in trees and the wind blows in your hair as you read, to help your friends, to help yourself. you learn more every day, both useful things; to build a thing yourself! and other not-useful things; no ame we shouldn't do that, grandmother wren said we shouldn't and she's a grown up! eursulon, stop her!

you forget how desperately you want things to return to normal until normalcy approaches and you realize that your worldview has changed.

you are grown.

you are grown and you still sit, as helpless as you were at six, as normalcy leaves you as quickly as it tends to.

i feel like it's less to do with their literal positions and more with the language used to describe them or personality traits given to them (in some cases). ygm?

like if the black/darkskin character is being described using animalistic or overly aggressive language and the white/lightskin are being described as delicate, fragile, that type of language, that's where the issue lies.

i would say write them as tops but be careful with how you're describing them

12. Any pets? Two! Snowflake (bunny) and Loki (dog). Loki loves making friends with any animals who hate him (birds, wild bunnies, other birds) and hates other dogs who actually want to meet him. So he tried to make friends with snowy but snowy hates him. He tried to give him rocks and toys and everything but it didn’t work. So they just stay in their separate areas of the house

14. Favorite school subject? Hmmmm a real thunker. Idk because I don’t like school anymore but it used to be science and arts

15. Dream job? Palaeontologist or any job in caring for endangered animals or stray pets that isn’t a veterinarian
