Went for Cisco & Jesse for this one, an underrated brotp! Some exploration of post-Zoom trauma for Jesse:

To say Jesse was struggling after Zoom would be an understatement.

She could barely sleep, and since Dad insisted on only one cup of coffee for her a day, she was also exhausted. But if she closed her eyes for even a moment—

"Your father has abandoned you..."

"You're lying!"

—she jolted upright, heart hammering with visions of that demonic black mask and terrifying blue lightning.

Barry's was gold. But sometimes, if even he moved too fast—

"Stop, stop!"

"Jesse? I'm...I'm sorry, I—"

"Just stay there! Stay there and don't...and don't move!"

"Okay. Okay, I'm right here. Not moving an inch, okay?"

It was pathetic. She was 17, nearly an adult—she should be better than this.

Surprisingly, though, it was Cisco who caught on first. Cisco who moved to Jesse's side when she started panicking, Cisco who warned Barry not to use his speed around Jesse...Cisco who made her a blanket fort when they both couldn't sleep.

(It was only those nights when she slept peacefully, curled up next to him in the fort.)

She'd never had a brother, but she could almost imagine this was what it felt like, even if she didn't know Cisco well enough to say for sure.

Except...it didn't make sense. It didn't...these people barely knew her. Surely they were just...just being nice to stay on Dad's good side, right? Or they wanted something from her. Yeah, that had to be it.

What it was, though, she couldn't fathom—Cisco only spoke to give her comfort, or to tease her about something unrelated, and he never asked anything of her. And even Dad seemed surprised at how well they were getting along.

But Jesse didn't like owing people. So one day, she finally asked, "Okay, what do you want?"

Cisco looked over at her, startled. "I mean...I'd like to fluff this pillow, but—"

"You know what I mean. What do you want from me?"

Cisco frowned. "A...good night's sleep would be ni—"

"Cisco!"

"Jesse!"

"Ugh!" She threw her hands up in the air. "I don't get you! Why are you being so...so nice to me, so accommodating? You don't even know me, not really!"

"Do I have to know someone to care about them?" Cisco retorted.

"Why do you care about me?"

"Because you're important to me, you little shit!" Cisco sighed, running a hand through his hair. "To all of us, really. I'm just...the best person to understand what you went through."

She scoffed. "Oh, were you kidnapped by an evil speedster for months too?"

"No. I was just killed by one."

She froze, her heart skipping a beat. "I...what?"

"Barry saved me." He smiled sadly. "He always does that. But...because of my powers...I remember it, clear as day. My trusted mentor, calling me his son...and then tearing a hand through my heart."

"Cisco...I'm so—"

"Don't apologize. You asked."

"If I'd known—"

"You didn't."

"But if I had—"

"You didn't, Jess. Let it go." He sighed. "If you get lost in the if-onlys, you'll never get out. Trust me. I only barely manage it most days."

They sat in silence for a few moments, pillow forgotten...and lost for anything else to do, Jesse slowly reached over and hugged him.

Cisco hugged back, with a fierceness rivaled only by Dad's hugs, and it wasn't long before both of them were crying—full on sobbing—all while clinging to each other for dear life.

Jesse didn't have a brother. But she'd guess this was what it felt like...and she couldn't imagine a better feeling.

Sexuality Headcanon: homosexual/homoromantic Gender Headcanon: Like Bart, his concept of gender is from 1000 years in the future so his boyness is different from ours, so by default he's sort of "boy adjacent" like Bart. He prefers he/him pronouns but is okay with anything as it doesn't really matter to him. A ship I have with said character: Preston. I'm also fond of him with Match and Kon. A BROTP I have with said character: I -really- want him to have a relationship with Kyle to carry on that Speedster/Green Lantern brotp theme DC has. Kyle has the personality to tolerate Thad's grumpiness so I feel like it would be a good friendship. A NOTP I have with said character: Him with his brother(s) and any of his family. A random headcanon: He's actually acrophobic scared of heights, but he hides it incredibly well. Helen is also "mom" to him even though to Bart she's in a more nebulous parenting role that's hard to define. To Thad she is strictly MOM. General Opinion over said character: Done dirty. I don't think there is a single current DC writer on the payroll right now that I trust with him. He was right at redemption then the rug was pulled on him for no reason. He's 100% a victim in his incarnation.

Carol (I assume you mean from Impulse).

Sexuality Headcanon: I really haven't thought about it, and she doesn't interact with many other girls in the comics unfortunately, but I think she's probably bi-curious. Gender Headcanon: Cis. A ship I have with said character: Her with Jenni is pretty cute. I also think her and Wade or Mike would be fair and wholesome. Cissie would also be really cute and I can imagine them talking about Bart and bonding together over him. A BROTP I have with said character: Her and Bart. A NOTP I have with said character: Thad. A random headcanon: Carol taught Bart how to draw and the appeal to art when he didn't see the value to it at first. General Opinion over said character: She's amazing and I love her, even if she's a little mean. I would have liked her with Bart better if it was not rushed to fulfill a man-pain narrative. The whole setup of them getting together was amazing, they were FRIENDS first and went through a lot of highs and lows and was setup to be great but like with Thad they messed up the execution. However, I also like them being just friends because I believe in STRONGLY of hetero-platonic relationships. We need to show men and women in strong close platonic relationships and Bart and Carol had that. So it's two-fold on two sides. Anyway, I love her and I miss her. I'm not sure why Valarie Perez was made to be a Carol clone when they could have just used Carol...

Hey! First of all, sorry for the late response. I’ve been super busy and have only had enough time to make short chat posts, and I wanted to answer this ask a bit thoroughly. So be prepared for a really long answer. I’ll be approaching this from both a brotp and otp point of view with wally and dick.

Barry: - Barry had no idea who Charge was for a really long time. To him, Wally West was his girlfriend’s nephew that went missing days after he accidentally found out Flash’s identity. When Charge emerged two years after Wally disappeared, Barry thought it was possible that he could be Wally. He tried to discover his identity. He really did. But the guy was just too fast, he slipped by every single time. And the one time he finally got him, Charge had started begging and crying! And, well, if Barry doesn’t let anyone know his identity, then what right did he have to know this guy’s? So he let it be - When he did find out, he was pretty confused. And pissed off. Pissed off at Dick, mostly. Because Dick knew. Dick had known for YEARS who Charge was and he never told Barry. So what the hell? But yeah, he was mostly confused and upset

Bart: - Oh Bart knew the whole time. I mean he’s from the future, he did his research on his family. He knew who Charge was. It made for a very shocking moment when Wally met him for the first time and Bart goes, “hey Wally!” and Wally’s reply is “... who are you and how do you know who I am?”

Jason: - Okay I think Jason has the best reaction to Charge, and any relationship he has with Dick. First of all, as soon as he becomes Robin one of his first duties is to find and confront Charge. He saw online that Charge is one of Robin’s top three nemeses, and well, he’s Robin now, so, declaring Charge as his enemy is the way to go. Wally of course argues against this because excuse you, Robin, I’m now NIGHTWING’S nemesis so jot that down. Nightwing then jumps in out of nowhere before Charge can throw fists with a 13-year-old - (BROTP) *to Dick* “You’re even weirder than I originally thought you were” - (OTP) “Gross.” “Sure, I’ll keep this a secret from the old man, are you serious? Finally, I know something he doesn’t.”

Okay so in this AU, since Wally’s a villain he can’t really have the same friends he has in the comics, you know Roy and Donna and all the other Titans, so I scoured the wikis to look for friends that Wally has outside the hero business, and friends who were ever villains. I found a few, and added them to this AU as the closest people in Wally’s life. The first four lived with Wally in an abandoned warehouse he found. Here’s their reactions.

Christina “Tina” Weller: - In this AU, she’s just three years older than Wally instead of like twelve. She’s basically a big sister to him. She was the first friend he made after running away from home and beginning to live on the streets. He tells her about his powers a couple of months after knowing her. She, as an aspiring scientist, was SO excited! A speedster! She had so many questions!! Questions that she asked Wally every single day even though they both knew he didn’t have the answers, Tina! - The two of them never passed up the opportunity to use Wally’s powers to their advantage. He used his speed to steal what they needed in order to survive. So she was no stranger to thievery. When Wally comes up to her with the idea of a name and a suit, she was all for it! Even helped him with the colours and name. - (BROTP) “I don’t think Batman would approve of this if he knew” - (OTP) “Oh my god Batman is going to kill you. Oh my god my little brother is going to be killed by Batman”

 Mason Trollbridge: - Two years older than Wally, Mason acts as the annoying older brother. In the group Wally coined as the “Two Syllable Squad” he was the last to join, as he was skeptic of the other four. As the last to join, he was also the last to find out about Wally’s powers. He was confused, because if he was a speedster then shouldn’t he be running around with the Flash? This resulted in an argument between Wally and Mason, which resulted in the group realising that the Flash is a sensitive topic, so don’t bring him up - He found out that Wally was Charge when he was out on a walk one day, and suddenly Charge was in front of him and handing him an Xbox and an apple and telling him to start running, police sirens blaring in the distance. Mason of course ran and hid, but as soon as he got back to the warehouse he was walking up to Wally, saying, “seriously, man? You’ve joined Flash’s weird colourful bank-robbing fanbase?” and Wally replies, “first of all, no. Second of all how’d you know!?” “You’re the only one I’ve told that I wanted an Xbox and I told you I was craving an apple this morning!!” - (BROTP) “Can you even do that?” - (OTP) He laughs for like two minutes before going “wait you’re serious. How does that even WORK?”

Ashley Fox: - Mason finding out about Wally being Charge led to the rest of the group finding out. Ashley claims that she already knew because “who else do we know who’s a speedster, has Wally’s physique and steals a bunch? Come on, it was obvious.”  - (BROTP) “Robin? As in Batman’s Robin? The Boy Wonder? He wants to be your friend? ... Why?” - (OTP) “You kissed WHO? WHEN? He wants to WHAT? YOU SAID YES? HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO GET THE BOY WONDER TO WANT TO DATE YOU? No offense.”

Connie Noleski: - She’s upset at first that Wally didn’t tell her as soon as he began being Charge, but after he explains to her the dangers of all of them knowing, she understands and promises to keep it a secret. So long as HE promises to steal the brand new line of barbie dolls that came out last week for her. - (BROTP) “Does this mean I can meet him? I’ve always wanted to meet him.” - (OTP) “I... oh my god, really? Way to go King! ... wait I called dibs on Robin like three years ago!” (Wally and Connie’s nicknames for each other are King and Queen because of that one time they pretended to be King and Queen of a magical kingdom. The names kind of stuck)

Hartley Rathaway: - Hartley and Wally first met when they bumped into each other at a park. Wally was 14 and Hartley 13. They quickly became good friends, Wally learning sign language with Robin’s help so he could easily communicate with his new friend. - Hartley becomes Pied Piper when he’s sixteen. Immediately recognising him at a Rogues meeting, Wally pulls him aside and confronts him, asking “what the hell do you think you’re doing?” Hartley stares at him for a moment before whispering, “Wally?” the conversation delves into a loud and heated argument, which ends with Wally snapping at him to “just be careful” and storming off. Needless to say, Hartley was pretty pissed at Wally when he first found out, but after a while he was just happy to have someone familiar on his side - (BROTP) “That makes sense” - (OTP) “Pretty sure I already knew. Pretty sure everyone knew. Except for Batman, because if he knew you wouldn’t be standing here right now”

Frances Kane: - Frances was Wally’s best friend before he ran away. When she bumps into him four years later, she gets as angry as an 11-year-old can get, frustrated beyond belief that he’s ALIVE and he never TOLD HER!? Her! His best friend! She thought they trusted each other with everything, but she guessed she was wrong. - They reunite slowly over the next couple of years, and when she starts experiencing the development of her powers she confides in him. She does end up becoming a villain and takes her anger out on him for abandoning her, but through it all she never knew that he was Charge. - She finds out after he comes back from the speed force. After she remembers him, he confesses to her who he was. This sets off Magenta, who immediately attacks Wally for lying to her all those years. All that disappointment she got from him for her becoming a rogue, and he was one the entire time!? How dare he? After he tells her his side of things, she calms down and eventually forgives him.

least favorite thing about them - I wish he wasn’t JUST the punchline of the show, I really want some more depth to his character. I need backstory, where he lives, I want to know it all.

Talking about the X-Men...

Hi @camsthisky!  I know you asked if I had any reading/watching recommendations for X-Men.  First of all let me say that my knowledge is REALLY scattered, as are the individual X-Men I am obsessed with.  Like, in DC, I know and love almost everyone, but when it comes to the X-men I mostly obsess over just a few characters...and I have never read any of the comics, so my knowledge comes from movies, shows, fanfic, and reading pages of wikipedia.  So with that fair warning out of the way, let me just spend the rest of this post dumping my thoughts and recommendations out for you :D  (Also I don’t know what your familiarity is with any of this so....)

A few short character introductions mostly per the movies

Movies

1. X-Men, X2, and X-Men: The Last Stand:  I enjoyed the first two films.  I absolutely love Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellan, and to watch the two friends play best frenemies is a treat.  I love the teams and the people, though Cyclops several of the characters get screwed over and Wolverine several of the characters try to take over the story.  As far as I am concerned, 75% of the third movie does not exist

2.  Wolverine: Origins, The Wolverine, Logan: Apparently Origins is a terrible, terrible adaption of the comics.  I secretly love it anyway...mostly because we get an appearance from Gambit, the card throwing, stick-wielding, energy-kabooming Cajun thief who was probably the first X-Man I really fell for.  That said, even he is not a great adaption.  I’m just desperate for what I can get.  What I really want is a live-action film of his life story (not with Channing Tatum, sorry my guy I really do love you but you just don’t fit my picture of him), not to mention his romance with Rogue, the woman who literally kills whatever she touches.  Ahem, anyway.  The Wolverine was pretty cool--I enjoyed most of it, though there is one ethical dilemma that I still scratch my head over.  I HAVE NOT YET SEEN LOGAN BUT IT IS ON MY LIST BECAUSE APPARENTLY I AM DYING TO WATCH ANGSTY MOVIES

3.  X-Men First Class, X-Men Days of Future Past, X-Men Apocalypse: I love love love First Class.  James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender KILL it as young Professor X and Magneto, and they get to be besties almost the whole movie!  And we get an origin story for how the X-Men began in the first place!  And Alex Summers makes his first appearance as Havok, and I can’t help it I fell aboard the fangirl train I love him.  Days of Future Past isn’t my favorite but HOLY HECK I love Quicksilver and there is a fabulous speedster scene in it!  Apocalypse is my fave out of these three movies because my faves are almost all here.  Also another great speedster scene. Bby Nightcrawler is in this movie and HE IS THE FREAKING CUTEST THING TO TELEPORT THE EARTH!  He also happens to be the first X-Man who I decided to adopt as my son.  My sweet sweet blueberry son who deserves only happiness...look at his face again!

Cartoons

Okay, this is easy, seeing as I have only seen one so far.  X-Men Evolutions. I LOVE IT.  I LOVE EVERY CHARACTER’S PORTRAYAL.  ROGUE GETS JUSTICE.  NIGHTCRAWLER IS PRECIOUS AS ALWAYS.  WOLVERINE DOESN’T MAKE ME WANT TO PUNCH HIM.  JEAN AND SCOTT YESS.  IT’S FUNNY!!! LAST I CHECKED IT WAS ON YOUTUBE

Fanfics

      This is a really cool fic about who Scott Summers is.  A great intro to his character, one that makes me love him more and more.  

2.  “The Way Things Break” by GrayJay      https://archiveofourown.org/works/7227142       This fic is an au of Alex and Scott Summer’s relationship and meeting.  “It might help to watch First Class, Days of Future Past, and Apocalpyse, but you could probably get away without watching them, if you really didn’t feel like it.) The fic is a brilliant explanation of part of the FREAKING MESS that the film and comic timelines has become.  Because Scott is the older Summers brother and Alex is the younger Summers brother...except, well, after they find each other after YEARS of separation, Alex is 30 and Scott is 15.  It’s weird.  Both brothers have issues, but they love the heck out of each other.  There is soooo much angst!!!

      This short little fic involves Wolverine watching Scott Summers play pool with Matt Murdock.  I never would have thought of Scott and Matt being good friends but I read this and the world makes sense.  Also I really really love Logan and Scott being kinda friends?  Despite their differences?  (The author has a few Daredevil stories that are really good too btw)

     Scott Summers wants to hire a lawyer to teach at the the Institute, so he pitches his idea to Matt Murdock.  Two guys with red glasses read Braille menus.  I REALLY LIKE SCOTT AND MATT BEING FRIENDS

5.  “Rex Racer on the Final Turn” by you guessed it GrayJay (I stumbled on her fics I am just so enthralled by them I can’t help it I have to spread the word)       https://archiveofourown.org/works/2356574/chapters/5200295

     This is a bit of a long fic but I LOVE IT TO DEATH.  It’s a mostly comic canon compliant au of how Alex and Scott reunited after having been seperated for many years.  Mostly it is letters, texts, emails, and phone calls, and normally I am not as into that but the author does it really well.  Realistic dialogue, a great mix of angst and fluff, so many freaking feels.  The author also links various fics along the way that more like traditional fics set in the same universe.  You like brother things?  You’ll like this.  When you start though, know that Scott is secretly Cyclops, that Alex hasn’t manifested his mutation yet, and he doesn’t know that Scott is a mutant.

      This fic is heart-wrenching.  Deals with the aftermath of a major death in X2.  Storm has a lot to deal with--mostly people dealing or not dealing with grief.

     A friendship fic for Scott and Ororo (Storm).  Scott really loves his plane

     I feel like I’m staring to just randomly throwing out a bunch of my recent fave X-Men fics at you without regard anymore to whether you will appreciate them as a newcomer...so feel free to set these aside till you get better acquainted with the characters and stuff.  Anyway, this fic is a quiet one where Scott Summers and Kitty Pryde have a talk about griefs and miracles.  And weird relationships with former enemies.  (I love Scott but the guy’s love life is a mess.)

listen idk how common it is for people to gush abt their familial f/os ( i feel like not enough people do it and yall DEFINITELY should family is v v important too ) but guess what im just gonna say it i absolutely LOVE MY BROTHERS ok i cant keep it to myself anymore i just 

theyre so fun to be around but also VERY protective of me and i honestly ?? love that a lot ??? they look out for me and are so quick to notice is someth is wrong and correct it ??? and they stand up for me which is perfect bc im an absolute pushover at times but ;;;;;;

they’re both v different but both care for me in different ways like. william is a hugger and is my prime candidate when i need affection ( next to barry ofc ;) ) and he never minds even if hes working or something. and also he v much likes to check on me bc he just ,, is kind of a small worrywart at times

and wally always offers to go with me places bc he knows how anxious i get doing stuff on my own sometimes ?? and he’s my number one hype man and supports everything i do, even if the choice is a controversial one ( william is usually the one to get me to not do dumb stuff. but wally will do dumb stuff with me 👀 )

you can just. imagine how interesting it is to have a speedster and a billionaire hacker for older brothers ok. it just. it gets eventful sometimes.

i just love being close to them and having big brothers who would do anything for me and honestly in conclusion ?? i would die for them

West Family Stuff

some little random headcanons bc i feel like talking abt my fam ...

iris helps me stay organized, or at least keep a less messy workspace. she also reminds me about deadlines and stuff when she can, because sometimes they creep up on me and i dont realize it.

i teach iris to cook in return

i call cecile mom ... im also the only west kid to do that haha

i stay with joe a LOT because his house is like a safe space for me and also. cecile's cooking is godsend

i share a room with wally whenever i say over ... or i just use his room when he's not there

CLOTHES. im always wearing either iris or wally's clothes bc theyre big on me and oversized clothes are just. one of my biggest comforts

wally and iris are so used to it that if something is missing from their closets they pretty much just assume it was me

me, iris, and wally have a group chat where we just. send each other memes or updates or whatever.

i literally cannot be upset around cecile because she can literally feel my emotions and therefore she ALWAYS knows when im upset. she WILL make me talk about it and if i dont, she will ask wally to come talk to me ( because i always talk to him abt my feelings )

i get to proof read iris' articles and give her suggestions!

we have certain holiday traditions like going out to pick a christmas tree for joe's house together ( and barry comes along too )

we also decorate it together ( barry isnt allowed to help anymore bc superspeed 😔😔 )

joe is VERY protective of all of us !!!

sometimes i help out cecile at her agency/law office

on holidays if we plan to have a party, barry and i will go over to joe's early to help set up/help cook/etc.

that leaves iris and wally with clean up 😏😏

we will randomly send each other silly pictures from wherever we are. sometimes these pictures include other members of team flash or coworkers or something

baking !! and by baking i mean cecile bakes and me n wally eat it all haha

comparison between my relationships with my sibling f/os:

iris: basically my mom. checks on me a lot. my advice consultant who is also my lowkey babysitter. looks out for me indirectly. usually the one i hang out with to clear my head. vice president of the quill x barry protection squad.

wally: chaotic twin. just as destructive as i am. the reason iris feels the need o babysit us. protective brother who will square up with anyone who even just looks at me sideways. team flash's tag team. knows like 95% of my secrets. has probably told barry a ton of them. usually the one i hang out with when im looking to have fun. often paired with william.

william: the one who talks me out of doing dumb stuff. especially if that dumb stuff includes wally. usually roped into me and wally's antics but has fun in the end. the voice of reason who i also go to for advice. looks out for me and makes sure i always have a snack on hand. the one i hug most and the best hugger out of all my siblings. always worried about my health for whatever reason. also the one who does stuff with me that im too anxious to do alone. usually the one i go to for ... well a lot of things. often paired with wally.

mia: who's older ?? neither will say. badass who always has my back. kind of cold but obvs cares abt me and william. can always count on her to back me up. tried to teach me archery one (1) time because i begged her to and never did again. always shows up at the right time. despises hugs. surprisingly good at pep talks. usually the one i go to when i need help getting something done but also the one im seen with the least.

I do celebrate christmas !!! in fact its my favorite holiday !! :D

so, caitlin, iris, and i usually do our christmas shopping together !! we get our gifts for everyone and exchange tips on what the others like ( bc some of us know others better than the other ). I always try to get barry really special gifts but he almost ALWAYS outclasses me and im like 😔 let me have one win 😔😔 rgsgfsghs. 

barry and i’s winter dates usually consist of going to look at christmas lights, marathoning christmas movies, and ice skating ( barry is SO good at it ?? like ?? i’m just holding onto his arm 99% of the time bc i have 0 sense of balance on those thin things ). im equally as bad at roller skating lmao. but its fun !! we also bake together sometimes and i love making cookies from scratch with him even though it always ends up in a mess ,, teaching him techniques and stuff is so fun and then we get to eat some after !! :D

but YEAH we always go to joe’s on christmas !!! either on christmas or christmas eve ( sometimes we do this thing where we all stay overnight on christmas eve at joe’s house so we’re together all on christmas day and its pretty great !! ) we exchange gifts, eat good food ( cecile’s cooking is GODSEND ) and if it snows we’ll all go outside and build snowmen ( and me or wally will iniciate a snowball fight .. bc we ALWAYS DO ) and we just have a lot of fun !! and yes, i very much like mama esther’s eggnog, i LOVE eggnog and i always end up drinking too much of it ( and having the worst headache the next day ... ). im also the one that brings the gingerbread cookies every year bc i have a family recipe that SLAPS and everyone loves them !!!

What kind of sibling shenanigans do you and Wally get into?

okay so. we are like team rocket. double trouble. thing 1 and thing 2. tweedle chaos and tweedle havoc. something we love to do is just. initiate things for other people. cisco and harry get into a fight ?? we must form a plan to get them stuck in the same room until they make up. iris likes eddie but wont tell him ?? ok for sure no problem, lets set up a not so blind date for the both of them. cisco and caitlin are literally just minding their own business ?? WE’RE GONNA MESS WITH THEM IN SOME WAY .. we just gotta scheme up how. and then blame it on boredom.

also we bug iris SO much. like. we love her a lot and so whenever we do sibling stuff we just gotta include her ( even though shes just keeping us from making too dumb decisions at that point ). wally, iris, and i have this sibling group chat and we frequently like to kick iris out of it and then add her back in or just spam her with random things until she replies to us and she says she hates it but. cmon. she adores us. 

and me n wally ?? when we join the legends ?? thats a whole other can of chaotic to be opened. basically iris’ babysitting job except its sara and now includes time travel and a gentle reminder that we’re adults.

what about if quill has a very very near-death experience out on the field, how would barry handle it? would quill have to physically peel her bf off of her and tell him shes gonna be okay? I GOTTA KNOW........

oh man .. OH MAN ... ok so listen -

if quill got into a near-death experience that put her out of commission for a few days, barry would be glued to her bedside ( hospital bedside? whatever that thing is in S.T.A.R. Labs LMAO ) until she’s stable and fully awake without passing in and out again. he probably would give flash duties to wally or vibe for a while ( not frost bc caitlin would have to keep an eye on quill too ) so he could stay with her and when she does wake up he’d be *almost* in tears and just glad she’s awake and okay. he’d probably try to hug her and she’d have to remind him that she does not have speed healing and that HURTS. and that's about when helicopter barry comes into play.

first off, he’d refuse to let her help on any missions until she’s 100% recovered and then some, leaving her stuck to work on repairs and upgrades in S.T.A.R. Labs and doing excessive coffee runs because shes got nothing better to do but sit around and watch barry fight heroes without her. H.R. doesnt mind this of course. more coffee for him.

finally he lets her go on missions again ( after barry practically begs cisco to upgrade her suit with extra padding or something just to make it more resistant to attacks ) but he wont let her go on anything too dangerous and basically lets her handle the c tier metas of the week while he handles the big bads like savitar or zoom. she would INSIST on him letting her do more and that she can handle it but it takes a while before barry starts letting her handle more dangerous things. and even then he’s pretty much attached to her, focusing more on making sure she doesnt get hurt again than actually fighting. he’ll also be there for her smaller maintenance missions that she often goes on. she’ll just be there fixing an electrical line and the flash would just be vibing a few feet away watching, even tho electricity cant hurt her gthgshbgshbgs. even wally ( who’s VERY protective of quill ) is like ‘ ok this is a little much ‘ but nonetheless quill obliges.

but eventually she tells him ‘ hey, you know i can protect myself right? i need a little space here ‘ and ofc barry understands and just admits he’s worried and doesnt want to be responsible for her getting hurt again. quill would tell him that none of it was his fault and that he knows shes pretty rash when it comes to fighting villains so they make a pact and agree that quill will be a lot less wreckless on the field if barry reduces the policing by 99%. and quill makes a ( hopefully kept ) promise that barry won’t lose her.

i didnt really want to celebrate halloween but joe's having a halloween party at the west house and we're inviting team supergirl so i wont pass that up :)) also barry said hes going to go out in his flash suit with wally and hand out candy to kids ... im thinking about joining them as thunderbird ... either that or stay and watch horror movies with the others ... i think i'll be the only one getting scared >>

where would william and wally take you when they show up in front of your house at 3 am and say you three are going on a road trip?

i absolutely love how oddly specific this question is omg ,,, anon u are godsend ...

first lets address the fact that wally absolutely sped all the way to star city just to get william bc ?? william would not have agreed to this otherwise ( and was also probably dead asleep but dw abt that ). this entire thing was def wally’s idea

meanwhile i ?? would probably have just gone to bed due to my nonexistent sleep schedule so i would be v disoriented the moment my phone rings and i half-awake have to get up and open the door. wally definitely got me n’ will coffee bc 1. we’re both not morning people and get grumpy and 2. you can get me to do anything for a cup of coffee

that being said we’re all junk food stans and wally has to consume abt 10,000 calories a day which means hes ALWAYS hungry so ?? we go on a fast food run !!! ofc at 3 am all the 24 hour food places are empty and some places are just opening up, so you bet we’re hitting up all of them >:D 

big belly burger, jitters, sushi places, pizza places ,, and whatever the HELL star city has because i rlly couldn’t tell you they. only eat BBB and like. sometimes a v obscure diner

and barry and oliver will be very upset with us in the morning because wally will bring back both me n’ will who are both stuffed and just wanna take a 5 hour food coma nap and otherwise refuse to do work ( also we. dont look at food for the rest of the day )

and wally is just like ‘ 😬 ‘ while barry and oliver do the arms-folded-disappointed look @ him >>>
