• Armand's tone during the coffin scene is very soft, but he's actually making himself clear he's mad MAD. Mad that Louis is trying to goad Lestat back to him again through the interview. Seeing how Louis always fast to reassure Armand with "all I said is trash" about Lestat, this is definitely an old problem to them. It makes me curious what made Louis stay with Armand post-Paris. What happened in Paris exactly? Lestat definitely knows Louis is alive and with Armand, unlike in the books. What has made him stay away? Did Louis pull a Nicki on him in Paris? Edit: wait, what if Armand reaches out to Lestat here is the equivalent of him going to NOLA in TVL and goes "news flash, Louis is actually alive. we were/are together"? Daniel doesn't hear Armand's first sentence to Lestat. and by that time, Louis does know lestat is alive but still numb 🤔 Armand mentions if Louis wants Lestat to chase him again, that's definitely about Lestat coming to Paris after the patricide.

• "All you had to do was ask" he says to the burnt Louis who is in need of his blood. A war flashback to "The silence is cruel. But you're never cruel" but in worse condition.

• Armand, making it clear he is extremely mad at Louis for trying to reach Lestat, that Louis is ungrateful cos he's been treating him better than Lestat, then dangling this channel of communication to Lestat in front of him, making Louis feels bad and coercing him to reassure him again. Armand has a PhD in gaslighting.

• The words from Armand afterwards. Louis certainly knows his answer but well, you can't answer that if you don't want Armand blowing up again.

• Armand only answers Louis back with Maitre once Louis assures him that he will stay with him.

• "I'm a bright young reporter with a point of view" Young Daniel is full of life and optimistic. Stubborn, refusing Armand's words, but they work. Then Louis came, saying it back to him, give him more words to re-find that motivation to live. Give him words to live on.

• Ngl I almost teared up to this scene with Louis and Old Daniel. They're precious as friends.

• To alter and surpress Daniel's memory, Daniel is already under a stage where he's very easy to be influenced and they give more drugs again.

• Old Daniel beeds to stay alive. I want Louis has one (1) friend that call out his and his boyfriend(s)' bullshits 😭

Favorite Thing About Them

Jared is so bad at communicating he reminds me a lot of myself. I have ODD so it’s a little different, but the man is an asshole in the best way possible. He is petty and gives off angry cat energy in both fandom aspects and canon. Also I appreciate that he never acted against Evan even when he had the opportunity and reason to do so, he threatened it but he kept his mouth shut. Real friend right there <3 (I could tell everyone everything! Okay great! You go ahead! Do that! Tell everyone how you helped write emails pretending to be a kid who killed himself! Fuck you Evan!)

Least Favorite Thing About Them

He doesn’t have enough screen time/show time. People mischaracterize him because his entire character is shoved into as little time as possible. I know I just said that I love how he’s an asshole but he’s more than an asshole. He’s so clearly lonely and more than just an angry kid. At least in the book they made him “hot” in the end but the show and movie pretty much get rid of him come act two

Unpopular Opinion

Idk if this is unpopular or not but I’m glad they cut Goin’ Viral. It only pushes the he’s an asshole idea and even though I love the song it wouldn’t have helped his characterization. I would have liked for them to properly record the song when they released the deluxe album but apparently Disappear Pt. 2: the duet version was more important.

Also Jared Goldsmith was my favorite Jared actor other than Will Roland. Nothing can beat the Will Roland vibes

YOU FUCKING KNOW IT BECAUSE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THAT I CANNOT SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THEM-

This is going to be centered within MBJR themselves but if you wanna ask about BroTPs outside of MBJR, lemme know~! I can go on and on about these guys and how Aruto basically has tried to adopt them and the YuaNaki brotop and the IkaAruto brotp listen i got so much

Of course, we know Jin and Horobi are close as father and son but Horobi and Ikazuchi are these two absolute adult figures but while Horobi has mostly a level head, Ikazuchi is a bit more brash. He will jump to defend Horobi and Horobi has to physically hold him back. But honestly, these two are these older kindred souls that go out and just sit under a tree and look at the stars and talk philosophical things. Ikaika also tries to get Horobi out of Daybreak Town more and thus, tends to invite him to his workplace and planetarium. Subaru is always happy to see him and even though Horobi is slightly hesitant to get to know Subaru, he warms up to him and basically signed the adoption papers. In return, Horobi reminds Ikazuchi to relax and visits to "check up on him"

Horobi and Naki on the other hand are the two parents of MBJR. They tend to sit in silence most of the time and simply enjoy each other's company and often share books and things of the sort. IT's like a mini book club between them. Because of my headcanons that Horobi knits, he gives Naki a sort of scarf even though they don't need it. It's his silent way of showing that he cares. Naki is Horobi's reminder to take time to himself and relax, to enjoy life and if anything...Naki wants to help Horobi find a "dream" even if it's something small. It's one step at a time. Horobi is also fiercely protective of Naki as is Naki of Horobi and while all of MBJR would shoot Gai on sight, Horobi is rushing to get to his ass first just to stab him.

Ikazuchi and Naki share exactly one (1) brain cell and Naki has it most of the time. Ikazuchi is only allowed to have it because he's planning something that could either cause some sort of chaos or he's driving. He tends to rope Naki into dumb things (like how they tore off Gai's clothing) and records these moments to share in the MBJR group chat or to Aruto and Yua. These two are highly competitive with one another and Ikazuchi triggers Naki's feral brain half of the time. Don't let them play Mario Kart together because they can and will yell at each other. Naki on the other hand, is Ikazuchi's restraint half of the time but because they're being...influenced by Ikaika and Fuwa...sometimes they willingly join Ikazuchi on his escapades. Subaru is roped into this most of the time as well.

Naki and Jin on the other hand is more so Naki is the dotting sort of person who reminds Jin to take care of himself and Jin just replies with this cute, "I know~!" if Horobi is a hands-off but caring parent. Jin visits Naki at A.I.M.S often, just to hang out and chat and sometimes with Yua as well. He brings lunches for the humans and a new book for Naki to read. Compared to sitting in silence, Jin is always sitting in a chair beside Naki just watching them work oro stealing Naki's jacket because, "It's unfair that Naki has all the cool clothing!!!" and honestly, these two trade clothing the most out of all of MBJR.

Ikazuchi and Jin are just begging for trouble. Ikazuchi can restrain himself half of the time but most of the time, these two are egging each other on when it comes to like the dumbest fucking shit. Ikazuchi is bringing out his motorbike? Jin asks how fast he can drive that thing vs his own flying and suddenly you hear Yua being called up because those two got pulled over by some cops. But if anything, Ikazuchi is the person Jin goes to for spontaneous shopping trips. Sure he can ask for Horobi and he often does but Ikazuchi (and his knowledge of human things is better than the other's) knows things that Horobi doesn't and Ika is like friends with a lot of vendors and thus, they warm up to Jin too.

They all have made a "Subaru Protection Squad" because Subaru tends to visit Daybreak often whenever he isn't busy. He's still working out his own Singularity but with Ikazuchi by his side, he's gotten a lot better in understanding it. He went to MBJR to understand more about it and Horobi has basically adopted him. Sometimes Subaru makes deliveries to Naki just for the excuse to hang out with them and Jin is always barging into Subaru's personal space just to tackle him into a hug.

Now that Horobi and Jin have a much healthier relationship, Jin actively calls Horobi his father in public. Horobi also has begun collecting magnets since Jin draws a lot and hangs his drawings on the wall with the said magnets but has this framed picture of all of MBJR (Subaru included) on the wall as well.

Three ships: Oh gosh, I'm not much of a shipper, but when I do, I ship HARD.

Entrapdak (Entrapta/Hordak) - Where do I even begin? They're perfect for eachother, the truest sunshine/grumpy ship, evil scientists in love, Entrapta teaching Hordak to have his own identity and that imperfrction is beautiful!! Hordak being somebody Entrapta can really connect to, that understands what she's saying and wants to hear more!! They love being around eachother so much, no wonder Hordak committed fratricide/deicide/patricide for her! Also the height difference and him being a monster and she's a human and just aaaaaaa I KNOW imperfection is beautiful but DAMN is this ship just perfect!!!!

Huntlow (Hunter/Willow) - If I had a nickel for every time I somehow ended up shipping a het-passing ship between a pathetic, menacing-at-first but-really-just-an-angsty-dork clone with an abusive creator with a strong and intelligent woman that struggles with vulnerablity and being othered and has pigtails in a show where the main ship isn't het, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice! Their dynamic makes me so happy!! I love their characters!! They're so cute together!!

Trobed (Troy/Abed) - Fuck it. Trobed time. Can be an OTP AND a BROTP!! I don't even know what to say these guys were made for eachother and I will forever be upset about them being separated. Community movie please just bring them back together again I'm begging. Troys got homing pigeon DNA now he must be compelled to come back PLEASE.

1: sexuality headcanon - demiromantic ace and probably bi.

Also I hc him as a trans guy, and I think he figured out the gender part pretty early, but haven't figured out his sexuality yet, because he never felt attraction before and was never really bothered by it. Then he meets Ladybug, gets to know her and oh. It all starts to come together.

2: otp - Felix/Bridgette, my original otp. I also have a soft spot for Felix/Allan.

3: brotp - Felix and Allegra as childhood friends. Felix and Claude as frenemies. Felix and Allan as the type of friends who just chill together (I think maybe Claude would bring out his Chat side and Allan his Felix side? Anyway I love this trio). And Felix and Plagg as unlikely friends that start out on a really bad note.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head: autistic Felix! Also here is a bunch of random ones:

Any time an obstacle appears in front of him, he finds a way around it. Guards who are going to check your dwarf-filled barrels? No problem, just pour fish in on top of the dwarves to hide them. Spies watching your house? That's easy, sneak the dwarves in through the toilet. Dragon about to kill you and your longbow's broken? Just DIY a bow using the broken pieces and your son. Nothing keeps him down and I love it.

least favorite thing about them -- if we're going by the movies (and although I've read the book a multitude of times, I definitely go by the movies), the fact that he keeps giving Alfrid the benefit of the doubt or any responsibility at all. I know it's probably supposed to illustrate that he's a good guy and not vindictive and will therefore be a good king, but come on. Nobody would judge him for indulging in a little payback.

Sokka/Suki/Zuko Brotp Headcanons

These three are a god-tier brotp and i'm here to prove it

100% that one friend group who does the stupidest, most impulsive shit but they’re also super nerdy at the same time?

Like they'll be left alone together and you can guarantee that by morning they'll have broken into several heavily guarded government buildings. But like,,they didn't even steal anything important? they just wanted to see if they could find bosco's birth records and figure out why he's a regular bear

The last time they got drunk together they woke up on the Beifongs' roof in librarian's robes with a fully labelled diagram of a nonbending submarine in front of them

Suki and zuko braid each other's hair and sokka got jealous that he couldn't join in so he grew out his hair until it was long enough to braid

Suki teaches zuko how to fight with kyoshi warrior fans and he's absolute shit at it

In return, he teaches her how to fight with dual broadswords and she is not shit at it, which zuko thinks is unfair

all three of them spar together, all the time

sokka’s the unofficial leader of the group

he’s almost always the one who suggests the dumb/smart ideas

suki and zuko are pretty much on the same wavelength as him when it comes to plans so whenever he suggests something it goes like

no one else can ever eavesdrop on their conversations because they just don’t make sense

the story of their escape from the boiling rock becomes legendary and they make a game out of retelling it. every time someone asks about it they’ll add something new. eventually the story ends up involving a platypus bear named Mai II, Chit Sang’s identical twin, a rope made out of bedsheets and three separate riots

sokka and zuko thought for a solid year that suki didn’t really like drinking because she always ended up relatively sober whenever they went out. turns out she drinks more than both of them combined and she’s just really, really good at holding her liquor

the amount of decrees they’ve passed while drunk is honestly ridiculous. only half of these decrees were cancelled afterwards because the other half actually made sense

suki once genuinely threatened to throw hands with one of zuko’s ministers. her reasoning was ‘he kept making weird faces whenever sokka suggested anything’

sokka and suki once ganged up against zuko. they called it ‘nonbenders solidarity’

zuko retaliated by creating a super-secret best-buds-only handshake with toph and they did it in front of sokka and suki whenever they could. sokka and suki eventually went ‘okay OKAY we GET IT also can you please...teach us the handshake it looks really cool’ and zuko was like ‘hm. no i dont think i will’

he then proceeded to drive them insane by immediately teaching the handshake to everyone he knew. aang? knew it. katara? knew it. mai and ty lee? knew it. every single one of his ministers knew it. the kyoshi warriors knew it (and wouldn’t tell suki). hakoda knew it. iroh knew it. that random regular visitor to iroh’s tea shop knew it.

sokka and suki gave up on ever learning the handshake. exactly one (1) day later zuko and sokka were playing their own modified version of pai sho with suki watching them and then zuko just casually went ‘so now that you’ve given up do you want to learn the handshake’

sokka and suki went FERAL and suki flipped the board

also sokka, exactly 0.02 seconds later: also yes please teach us the handshake sifu hotman

the handshake is the stupidest most needlessly-complicated thing in the world but they learn it anyway and they don’t stop using it for approximately a month

and oh did i not mention that they made their own version of pai sho? they call it die sho and it features 16 homemade tiles and a set of rules that only suki understands. one game can last anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 days

they once wrote a book together under the pseudonym Wang Kyo-Lee. The book was a 500-page rant about plant husbandry. it became a bestseller in the earth kingdom.

they also once did a role swap for a day. zuko dressed up as a kyoshi warrior/the fire lord’s elite guard (complete with makeup to hide his scar), sokka was acting fire lord, and suki was his water tribe ambassador. that was how they discovered that they worked together so much that their jobs were literally interchangeable

there are rumours that the three of them are involved in a poly relationship. when asked, none of them will give a definitive answer

sometimes they’ll just go on holiday to some random obscure place without telling anyone and come back four days later with a frog, three new swords, a crate of theatre props and a valuable compilation of historical accounts that’s been lost for over a century

the most memorable thing they ever brought back was druk, aka a literal dragon

out of the three of them, suki makes the best tea. however, she’s also the worst cook

sokka learnt how to knit and promptly made them matching scarves. the scarves were ugly af but suki and zuko wore them anyway

when zuko overworks himself sokka and suki will literally manhandle him away from his desk and into his chambers, all while lecturing him as he nods sleepily and dozes on his feet

when suki overworks herself sokka and zuko will bring her tea and wrap her in blankets until she eventually falls asleep

when sokka overworks himself suki and zuko will drag him out somewhere under the open air and just sit with him until he relaxes and falls asleep on one or both of them

they have a running joke where suki and zuko will, in the middle of a discussion, go ‘GODS you remind me of this one guy i met while i was travelling’ and then proceed to describe sokka until he realises they’re talking about him

they all have a very dark sarcastic sense of humour that can honestly be alarming to anyone who doesn’t know them. mai thinks it’s hilarious

suki knows how to juggle. she tries to teach sokka and zuko and they both fail miserably

sokka takes them ice-dodging. sokka (once again) earns the mark of the wise. suki earns the mark of the brave. zuko earns the mark of the trusted.

hakoda takes one look at suki and zuko and immediately goes ‘oh ok youre my children now’

zuko can handle himself pretty well in the cold (breath of fire, remember?) but that doesn’t mean he likes it. sokka and suki constantly tease him about it whenever they visit the south pole

zuko once startled suki while she was sleeping and she accidentally chi blocked him. sokka laughed until he cried

Kaiba for the ask game?

👀👀👀👀 oh boy I don’t talk about tall, dark, and brooding very often, do I?

Favorite thing: he’s such a dick and you know what? I respect that. He’s a dick and he knows he’s a dick. He owns it. It’s his brand. And if we’re being serious than I love just how much he loves his little brother. It’s what makes him so likable as a character. Like yeah he’s an asshole but he’s like that because of all the bullshit he had to deal with as a kid and then having to step in to parent Mokuba when he himself still needed a parent.

Least favorite thing: he’s such a dick. I know he has good reason for it, but it makes me want to suplex him. Just go to therapy. Please.

brOTP: he and Mokuba. No for real. Anytime we see Mokuba being an annoying younger brother and Kaiba going into big bro mode I live for it. You can just tell they’re the type of siblings that grow up to be best friends.

OTP: puppyshipping!! As far as I’m concerned, the reason Kaiba fucks with Joey specifically is because he has a big gay crush on him and instead of dealing with those feelings he tries to squash them, but only ends up falling in deeper because his being mean only amplifies Joey’s personality. And Joey’s not the brightest so it takes him forever to realize what’s going on but once he figures it out, he has a field day and becomes 3x more annoying just to get a rise out of Kaiba. I also have a soft spot for flare, pride, and rival shipping

nOTP: Kaiba is gay in my book but I’m not necessarily opposed to shipping him with women. I just don’t think he has chemistry with any of the women we see him interact with

Random Headcanon: he listens to Nickelback, Eminem, and Three Days Grace unironically. He also speedruns games as a hobby because he enjoys the challenge, and holds a few world records. And cats inexplicably love him.

Unpopular Opinion: I wouldn’t call this unpopular, but i don’t see it a lot. I think Kaiba is autistic. Just with his intense feelings towards duel monsters (and bewd special interest) and his strange mannerisms, he just screams autistic at me. But maybe I’m just projecting.

Sexuality HC: we obviously know Kya is a lesbian, thanks to the comics, but I also headcannon her to be demi as well as sapio ( and yes I know there are a lot of people who don’t agree with sapio sexual but I believe in it). She needs not only an emotional connection but also intelligence , she wants to share all the information she’s gathered as she’s traveled, wants to bounce ideas off someone and have a response that’s carefully thought out and concise.

Favorite Ship(s): kyalin is my number one…no surprise if you look at my Tumblr. Although I would mind seeing Kya end up with a really well created OC (there may or may not be a story on my desktop that is in the early stages…I’m working on the OC currently).

Brotp: Bumi and Kya, I feel like they have such a rich history together and of course he’s the big brother that loves his little sister beyond everything.

I also really like the thought of Korra and Kya…there’s so much potential for their relationship. Kya having to overcome the feelings surrounding her father’s passing, but not being able to help love this precocious toddler turned avatar. It’s like a second chance to make her dad proud (or so she thinks).

Notp: any of the younger krew…just doesn’t sit right with me 🙁

Happy HC: Kya keeps extensive notes and journals of all her travels, each having a different topic including Indigenous Medicine, Airbender History/Archaeology, and her personal favorite, LGTBQIA+ accounts from all over the nations. She hopes one day to publish these journals.

Angsty HC: as I said in this post, I believe that Kya suffers from severe anxiety. It seems to be worse when she settles in one place for long periods of time, that’s why she’s constantly moving in her younger years. But when Aang passes and she moves back to the SWT to be with Katara, she comes to the conclusion that she has to find a way to cope with it on a daily basis. She has panic attacks fairly often the first few months after they arrive, Kya and Katara are exhausted emotionally and physically. Her mother suggests some sort of creative outlet, something similar to Katara getting lost in books to quell her own anxiety when she was younger. She takes up morning meditation again (Her dad would be ecstatic) and begins to write when things become too much. She can get lost in a story or recount of a procedure, she makes sure every minute detail is recorded

Random HC: Kya has tattoos (and I know lots of people HC this but you know 🤷🏻‍♀️), but they are all strategically hidden. Only really visible when she wears her bindings while swimming and let’s be honest it’s been a while since she’s done that with her family. There are a select few who know about them. She has a brother/sister tattoo with Bumi, on her inner right bicep; he has a miniature version of Uncle Sokka’s boomerang and she one of Aunt Suki’s fans. It was from the summer they spent training in hand to hand combat on Kyoshi Island. She has the words to an old air nomad prayer tattooed on her ribs from when her father passed away, talking about serenity and how a soul is never truly gone, but whispers constantly through the breeze and the trees. She has the waves of the SWT tribe and a miniature version of her mother’s water pouch under the curve of her left breast, her mother’s culture and lessons always close to her heart. She has one half of Tui and La on her right hip bone, conveniently low enough so it is hidden by her wraps, the other half located on the opposite hip of a certain green-eyed metal. How did they end up with matching tattoos? Well that’s a whole other story…

General Opinion: I love Kya! She is in my top ten characters in the Avatar-verse, I just wish there was more content about JUST her…she is such a complicated yet interesting character. I would read everything and anything about her. She is so much more than what some in the fandom portray her to be.

I wish I had confidence in my writing abilities and thought I could do her justice. I’m trying to research so I can make sure that she is developed with the utmost respect in my story. There needs to be more Kya content.

Blinded - Virgil gets temporarily blinded on a rescue, but he doesn't tell anyone until he almost gets hurt. 15. Star Baby - A few soft Little!Alan drabbles. 16. No Grave to Visit - It's the boy's first Father's day without their Father. 35. Post-Eos - Scott calls to check his brother is ok, and finds John battered and exhausted. 36.
