Jin
Tumblr media
"I told you, you should have done this sooner."
"Hey, if I had known this was gonna be this much fun, I would have."
"I did tell you, you just didn't believe me."
You huff. "Okay fine! You were right all along and I was wrong. Happy?"
Blair chugs down another shot and winces at the bitter taste. "I'll be happy when you listen to my advice."
"Asking for too much, now. Aren't you?"
"Cool then, mop over a boy for over a month again. Why don't you?" She retorts with no real bite, rather genuinely enjoying the glimpse of the old you back.
A wave of sadness hits you when you're reminded about the said boy and you sigh. "He isn't just a boy, he's also my best friend."
Blair immediately regrets her words when she notices the look on your face. "I understand that you would need time but if I hadn't dragged you out today, you would have not made any efforts to move on for at least another six months."
You feel an instant urge to deny it but end up not protesting because you know how true her words are.
Moving on would have been easier if you knew the answer to this one question; how does one move on from their best friend?
How do you forget the moments that made you fall for him? Moments when he was the only one you could confide in. When you two would spend hours talking on the phone about random things. When the two of you would sit on the balcony and judge every passerby. The inside jokes, the tears, the hugs, the words of comfort. How do you forget those and tell yourself to not feel the way you do?
And even if you manage to do so, will the two of you really ever get back to being as close as you once were? Won't that result in you falling for him all over again?
You take hold of another glass of shot when you realise that you were overthinking again. Today your plan is to get enough alcohol in your system so that you do not overthink the little things.
"What is he doing here?" Blair whispers to herself.
"Who?" Your tipsy mind gets distracted by that and you start checking left and right to catch sight of the person she's talking about.
"Jin."
Your eyes widen in shock and you freeze in your seat. "Jin is here?"
Blair nods, feeling the same amount of disbelief as you.
"Should I hide in the washroom?" You whisper shout. You don't even know why you feel the need to run when you and Jin have had a civil conversation just a few weeks ago. All you know is that you do not wish to face Jin. You are not ready to face the stir of emotions Jin would inevitably ignite.
"Fun fact, his eyes are fixed here," she quips with a mix of annoyance and amusement. "I'm also pretty sure, he's aware that we are talking about him."
You shut your eyes and groan audibly. "Fuck. Just what I needed."
"Fun fact part two, he's coming here."
As soon as she completes her sentence, you hear your name being called.
"Y/N."
"Jin!" You put on a fake smile and try to seem as excited as you possibly can. You won't allow your spirits to dwindle so easily. "What are you doing here?"
Jin thinks for a brief moment if he should lie and say that it was a coincidence but then decides otherwise. "Well, Jimin texted me that you're here and I had something important to tell you, so,"
"Well, I don't feel stalked at all." You grin sarcastically.
Jin smiles. That's the first stage of you getting drunk; getting sassy. "Well, I'd be hurt if you were to call me a creepy stalker."
He says it with such a soft look of adoration that Blair has to clear her throat loudly to announce her presence.
"I'm Blair," she introduces herself.
Jin understands that Blair's words are directed at him and he politely puts his hand forward in greeting. "I'm Jin."
Blair nods and shakes his hand. From the look in his eyes, she already has an idea about why Jin might be here and if what she's assuming is right, she should really get out of here as quickly as she can.
"Well, it's good that you are here, I have somewhere to go. Take care of her," as soon as the words are out of her mouth, Blair quickly leaves the spot knowing very well how you are going to react.
You gasp dramatically, concerned about how quickly she changed her colours. What a traitor you have as a friend.
Jin sits on the stool next to you before you can recover from your shock. "So what have you been drinking?"
You look at Jin with your mouth parted open, still having a hard time understanding what just happened in the span of a few minutes. How you came to the club to temporarily forget about Jin and how now, you are sitting right next to him.
You blink a few times to let the shock subside and with Blair gone, you feel your adrenaline rush fade away.
"I don't know, Blair ordered it," you shrug.
He hums, fiddling with his fingers on the table. "Any special reason you are out here clubbing on a weekday?"
"Nah," you say just as casually as you had uttered the previous sentence. Maybe it's because of the alcohol but you don't find yourself feeling anxious in his presence. There's only a very little amount of unease but that's only because you don't want to get too into your emotions.
Jin watches you closely. You don't look drunk, just tipsy. And thankfully, for him, you don't seem to be too bothered by the fact that he just invited himself.
Someone might say that he's being overdramatic coming all the way to say something he could have said any other time. But when Jimin texted him that you're here, his thoughts started getting a little wild.
What if you were in a club trying to get over him? What if some hot bartender catches your eye? What if your friends are telling you that you deserve better? (The last one, Jin agrees with)
It's fair to say that those thoughts made him rush to this place so that he can finally say what he figured out in the last few days.
Jin inhales deeply and asks the million-dollar question. "Do you– do you still love me?"
You choke on your drink and a series of coughs that follows. Jin immediately asks for a glass of water and helps you calm down.
"What kind of a question is that?" You ask in a raspy voice when your coughing fit subsides.
"A very important one?" He asks you back, his brows now furrowing in nervousness.
You mimic his expression, only that your brows furrow in annoyance. "What kind of people do you hang around with to get the idea that people's feelings change in the span of a few weeks?"
Ah, yes. You're sassy right now.
Jin's features soften and he looks at you with a look of disbelief.
"So you still love me?" He asks in a whisper, too scared to say the words out loud.
"Unfortunately, yes." You nod.
Before you can take hold of another glass of shot, Jin's hand comes to rest on yours. You look at him in confusion, wondering what even is he up to.
"Well, I love you too," a wide smile breaks out on his face as if the thought of you is enough to make him happy.
This time, you choke on thin air. "Excuse me?!"
He takes your hand and brings it to his lips. "I'm sorry it took me so long, but now that I know, I just want to be with you forever."
Your eyes follow his movements and you find your breathing getting shallower and only one question coming to your mind; Is this really happening?
Jin notices the way you seem to have run out of words. It makes him want to smirk in satisfaction but at the same time wrap you in his arms. Had he known you would react this way, he would have done this way sooner. But he was busy being a fool back then.
You were always by his side, through the worst and the best. You were his only constant in the world of variables. He always felt so at home with you, that the thought of changing the dynamics never occurred to him. You two were perfect being best friends and he thought that was how it was going to be forever.
But then he's also a hopeless romantic at heart. He has always dreamt of his perfect partner and what life with them will look like. He has also had his fair share of crushes and relationships but never did the faceless person from his dreams appear to be one of them.
Now that he thinks of it, he knows why that was the case.
"You don't have to say anything," Jin adds, not wanting you to stress about it. "I just needed you to know that I love you and I'm sorry for realising it so late."
Now as sassy as you are when you're tipsy, you're just as bold. Without thinking any further, you lean forward and kiss him. It's odd and something your sober self would never do, but right now you're definitely not sober. Plus, you can leave the overthinking for her when she wakes up tomorrow. At the moment, the only thing that matters to you is that the man you so irrevocably love, loves you back.
Jin freezes and his eyes widen in shock when he feels your lips on his.
He knows you are only doing this because you are drunk. He knows that had you been sober you would have asked a million questions by now. He also, knows that he shouldn't be kissing you back but when he hears a whine of complaint from you at his lack of enthusiasm, his resolve crumbles.
He gently puts his palms on your cheeks and kisses you back passionately. The warm sensation of your lips on his makes his head spin and he wonders how on earth has he gone so long without doing this.
However, he pulls back when he feels your tongue against his lips. "We should get you home."
You shake your head like a stubborn child. "No, I don't want to go."
Gosh, he wants to kiss that pout away. How did he not realise that it's been you all along?
Blair watches from a distance as you throw your hands in the air like a small child and a smile makes its way onto her lips. Guess, she won't have to worry about you moping anymore.
Yoongi
Tumblr media
As soon as the doorbell rings, you freeze. That must be Yoongi.
You have been looking forward to this moment and at the same time have been dreading it. But it's one of those things that you know just needs to be done.
You haven't had a single moment of peace since yesterday. It's tiring honestly. You don't know how the conversation with Yoongi will go, but you at least hope that after this you won't feel this heavy weight on your shoulders and will be able to have a good night's sleep.
With that hope, you open the door and you're greeted by Yoongi in a purple suit and the sight itself makes you swallow. You really wish you could marry him.
Shaking the thought away, you welcome him in and ask him to take a seat on the couch.
"Would you like some tea or coffee?" You query
Yoongi shakes his head. "Nothing really. I had coffee before leaving."
Well then, guess you won't get the time to figure out how to start the conversation.
You take a seat on the opposite couch and play with the rings that adorn your fingers. "I called you at my place because there's something important we need to talk about and I thought that a public place isn't suitable for the conversation."
Yoongi nods. He won't lie but he shares the same view. It's difficult for him as it is to talk about his emotions. He doesn't want to imagine having to explain why he came across as nonchalant to your confession and how he respects your honesty, more than he could show.
However, nothing could have prepared him for the next words that leave your mouth.
"I think we should not go forward with this marriage."
Your words cause Yoongi to choke. Out of all the things he wanted to discuss with you, he never saw this coming. "What?!"
Seeing Yoongi react like this catches you slightly off guard. Usually, he always has his emotions in check and is unreadable. It always makes you feel like he's out of reach. However, right now, you can read him like a book, which oddly enough gives you a sense of satisfaction.
"We should not get married." You repeat your words and wait for Yoongi's shocked features to subside.
Yoongi looks at you and notices how determined you seem, as if you have thought about this long and hard and only then have you come to this decision. The thought that there's probably no changing your mind, scares him.
Clearing his throat, he tries to sound as calm as he can. "Why though?"
Now it's your turn to be surprised. Isn't it obvious why the two of you shouldn't get married?
Chewing on your lower lip, you ponder how you should frame your words. After a brief pause, you start with a gentle tone that somehow comes out sad.
"When two people love each other, they get married. Not because they have to, but because they want to. It's like this celebration of their love, where they declare to the world that they are each other's for the rest of eternity. But you see, that's the most important factor–" you look up to lock eyes with Yoongi. "–love."
Love.
It's a word Yoongi has hardly ever given thought to.
Yoongi knows what it feels like to be loved. His parents love him, his sister loves him, his friends love him, his dog loves him. He also knows what it is like to love someone because he loves these people just as much. But love in the way you describe it? Yoongi has never felt that.
From a very young age, he has known that it will be his parents who will choose who he is to marry. Which is why he has never felt or given much thought to what it is like to want to spend his whole life with someone.
But clearly, you have.
It looks like you know exactly what you want and he won't lie, he envies that. He wonders what it's like for someone to know what they want so clearly that they won't settle for anything less.
"We can always fall in love," he says with a small shrug as if it's not a big deal. The gesture makes his words look insincere and although it's true that he doesn't realise the intensity of his words, it's also true that he had shrugged simply to hide how uncomfortable he feels. He has never had to talk to someone about falling in love with them.
You chuckle humorlessly. "I don't think you realise what falling in love really means."
Yoongi wants to feel offended by your words but he can't. Because you're right. "Well, it's never too late to learn."
You can tell that Yoongi is being genuine. But you don't know how you should perceive his genuineness. Should you feel flattered that he's willing to give your marriage a try? Or should you feel sad that he has to try falling in love with someone?
You don't know what the answer to that would be but the thought of him falling for you because he had no other choice, does not sit right with you. Even if you two were happy one day, maybe somewhere at the corner of your mind will be the thought that he fell for you only because you two were forced into this marriage.
"I don't think it will work, Yoongi," you say with a sigh.
Yoongi's brow furrows in frustration. Why are you complicating things like this? "I don't understand what exactly is the problem?"
Here goes nothing.
"We have been on ten dates so far and on none of those occasions, did you ever seem interested in getting to know me on a deeper level. You are a closed book and I respect that it might not be easy for everyone to be open, but what counts is the effort. We have never had an open conversation or proper communication." Your voice comes out even, not a speck of anger or disappointment lacing your words. It sounds like you're only reading out observations from a science experiment. "Why do you think that is? If you were to ask me, and I might be wrong, but it's because you were never interested in the prospect of marrying."
"Had I not asked to break the marriage, things would have been pretty much the same and I would have never voiced these thoughts. You would have made no effort and I would have been trying way too hard to fulfil my wishes. Don't you see how wrong that could go?"
Yoongi remains speechless with his mouth parted.
"It's not only that, though," a small smile appears on your lips. "When you believe in love as much as I do, you'd know that love is inevitable. Everyone deserves it, including you. And I hope that when you do fall in love, you get to walk with them with your head held high without worrying about the wife you had to marry to boost your business."
With each word that comes out of your mouth, you feel a weight being lifted off of your chest one by one. Last night, you stayed up with countless thoughts running through your head. Countless reasons and scenarios why this marriage won't work and would be painful for both of you. Especially you.
Yoongi takes a deep inhale and lets the silence linger.
What else is even there to say? You have given this a whole lot of thinking while he has hardly ever thought about it. Which only goes on to prove your point and how different both of your views on marriage are.
Indeed, he has never shown much effort towards establishing a connection between the both of you. There's no denying that, but he wishes he could tell you that it's not because he wasn't interested in forming one but rather that he does not know how to.
He knows there's no point in clarifying that now though, it will only sound like he's making excuses. Hence, he settles for responding to you with the only sentence that he thinks is relevant.
"We can't break this alliance."
"I know," you nod. "It won't be easy but I'm sure we both will come up with a way to convince our parents."
Yoongi huffs, sensing that you are underestimating his words. "Do you know that the deal has been signed?"
Your eyes widen in shock and disbelief. "What?! H–When?"
Your reaction is enough for Yoongi to know that you indeed, had no idea about the papers being finalised and signed. Your previous words make much sense to Yoongi now and why you thought that the two of you even had any other option but to get married to each other.
"About a week ago," he replies, expression now turning sombre. "I got to know about it only a couple of days ago."
A week ago? That would be around the time you and Yoongi went on your last date where you had confessed to him your feelings. Was it around the same time that both of your doors to escape were closed?
Panic shoots through your veins when the thought that there might be no way out, comes to your mind. No, no, no. There has to be some way.
But is there really?
Yoongi's company is way bigger than your father's. If the two of you back down now, the deal will be cancelled but it will be your father's company that will suffer the most whereas Yoongi's will recover in a few days. It was one thing if the deal was not signed. No gains, no losses. But now, it would be no gain, only losses.
How can you do that to your parents knowing how much stress it will cause them?
You can't.
"I don't have any other choice, do I?" Your voice comes out small, highly in contrast with how confidently you were speaking a few minutes ago.
"I don't think we do," Yoongi sighs, a deep sadness looming over his chest at how dejected you look. "But if it makes you feel any better, we can make a deal."
An abrupt chuckle escapes your lips. "Another deal? Haven't we already had enough?"
"This deal gives you the choice to be free," he comments, noticing how a small hopeful glint appears in your eyes.
"How?"
"Let's stay married for a year, if you still want an out after that, we will get divorced."
Yoongi's words give you a pause.
You can't say that the deal is ideal but it is better than nothing. It gives you the hope that the two of you won't be stuck in a loveless marriage. It also does not create the pressure of being happy with each other because that's the only option.
After thinking for a few moments, you realise that this indeed is what it has all come down to and you'll have to accept it whether you like it or not.
"What about the business deal?" You query, your brain jumping to the concerns of the after-effects of having a divorce.
"By that time, the majority of shares will be transferred to me, I'll take care of it so that there is minimal loss."
You nod and sit back, feeling exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster this conversation has been. You just wish things were simple. That you both could get married to people you were in love with. Or that you both were in love with each other.
The thought makes you look at Yoongi. You can still feel the butterflies in your stomach but there's also this dread that tags along.
Last night, you had considered every possible scenario, and each one of them convinced you why this marriage is not a good idea. But out of all those, there was one which stood out, one that scared you the most and was the most heartbreaking.
The possibility of you falling in love with Yoongi but his response being the same as it was on your last date. You know that the pain you went through this time, would be nothing compared to the pain you would experience then.
You don't want that.
The thought scares you so much, that you make a promise to yourself to not let your guard down so that the situation never occurs.
Hoseok
Tumblr media
"You went a little too hard on us today," you say, breathless as you take a bottle of water and uncap it.
Hoseok chuckles. "You say that after every class."
"Do I?" You ask with a small smile, knowing very well that you indeed do. But can you be blamed when Hoseok loses track of time when it comes to dancing and the only thing he focuses on is perfection?
He raises a brow as if asking you to stop pretending and you raise your arms in the air in mock surrender.
He chuckles and shakes his head in amusement. "That's what I thought."
"Oh by the way," you say all excited. "I binge-watched little women during the weekend."
Hoseok's grin widens at the thought that you took the time to watch his recommended show. "Did you enjoy it?"
A thoughtful look appears on your face. "I think it would have been better if the girls had more wins throughout but then I guess it wouldn't have been realistic."
Hoseok hums, understanding where you're coming from. That's an emotion he shares as well. While watching the show, he too wished that the girls didn't have to go through so many ups and downs.
"But you know what I liked?" You say with sparkling eyes.
"What?" Hoseok asks, the gleam in your eyes doing something to his heart.
"Choi Do-il's character!" You say with a small smirk on your lips.
Hoseok finds your behaviour amusing. "Liked him huh?"
"How can I not? He's so cool! He was so loyal to In-joo and he has such a sharp mind, made such tough decisions on the spot." You blabber. "I wish there was someone like him in real life, I'd fall for him in the blink of an eye."
"I wonder what Henry would have to say about that," he replies in a teasing tone, trying to pull your leg. But his smile fades when he sees that your excited expression has now turned sombre.
You shake your head with a soft smile. "Well, we have broken up, so I don't think he would have anything in particular to say."
Hoseok hates that his first reaction is that of joy, which is soon followed by a feeling of guilt. He had convinced himself that he wasn't waiting for this particular day but now, his reaction clearly proves otherwise.
For the time being, he puts his emotions aside and puts your feelings first.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
You sigh. "There isn't anything to talk about. The relationship had run its course."
And that's the truth.
Things were pretty smooth at first, but when the honeymoon phase faded, somewhere down the line, both of you realised that you two weren't right for each other.
The breakup wasn't painful for either of you and maybe that's what acceptance is supposed to be like. It was coming to this understanding that the both of you make great friends but there isn't much hope when it comes to something more than that.
Hoseok chews on his lower lip and wonders what's the right thing to say.
It has been six months since that day in the club and five months and three weeks since he realised that his feelings for you run deeper than he had initially thought.
The first three weeks that followed after his realisation was not easy for him at all. He tried his best to be in denial but with time, he couldn't deny it anymore and he felt anger. Anger towards himself for having the audacity to accept that he has any form of romantic feelings for you after you had been so brave about yours and had put your heart on a plate only for him to be a complete dumb wit. Which was soon followed by the feeling of loss. He lost the opportunity when he had it and won't probably ever get it again.
But after that, it started getting better.
He accepted the fact that you have moved on with someone else and are happy with them. But that doesn't mean he did not get jealous every once in a while when he stumbled upon a picture of you and Henry on Instagram. That little spark of jealousy would serve as the reminder that somewhere deep down, he still wishes for you to be his.
There have been times when he had thought about what he would do if someday, years later you and Henry were to break up. But never did he prepare himself for it. Plus, now, he finds it ridiculous that he had always thought that this would be an opportunity for him to correct his mistake when you could have very well removed any feelings for him from the very root.
Before he can figure it out though, you sense the awkward silence and make an effort to break it. "I'm over it though, it does not bother me."
Hoseok nods softly, his thoughts still muddled. "How long has it been?"
"About a month."
Hoseok observes you closely from his peripheral. He notices how relaxed your features are and concludes that the topic of your breakup isn't necessarily a painful one for you. You also seem, pretty okay with the idea of the two of you having broken up, which makes him hope that you have moved on from Henry. And if in case you haven't, he will wait as long as it takes for you to let someone new in and he will do everything he possibly can to be that someone.
"This might be inappropriate but are you planning to return to the dating world?" Hoseok tries to look as casual as he can by pretending to arrange the CDs on the shelf.
It takes a few moments for you to think about the question before you can come up with an answer.
Are you looking for someone you can date? Not really.
When you had downloaded Tinder all those months ago, it was simply so that you can find a distraction from Hoseok and move on. Fortunately, you found that and more in Henry. But now, that chapter is over and you don't find yourself actively looking for someone to be with.
"Not at the moment, no," you reply honestly. "Maybe a few months later, I'll reinstall Tinder," you laugh at the thought.
Hoseok hums, with his back facing you. "When you decide to reinstall the app, do tell me."
You don't think much of his words and innocently ask, "Why?"
The whole of Hoseok's body heats up in anxiety and he starts putting the CDs on the shelf at a much high speed. "Because then I'll install tinder too and will search you up."
Your frown morphs into an expression of surprise and your lips part to form a small 'o'.
Is…..is Hoseok saying what you think he's saying? Is it his way of saying that he would like to take you out on a date? And say, if the answer to these questions is, yes, what will you do?
In the six months that you have been with Henry, you haven't thought of Hoseok in that way. The intensity of your feelings lessened and you could let yourself be friends with him without letting your feelings get in the way.
But are your feelings for him gone?
You don't know.
Hoseok is a great friend of yours. He is nice, charming, kind, helpful and talented. Not to mention that he is utterly gorgeous. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their partner. But do you still want him as one?
You look at Hoseok and realise that the thought of being with him doesn't feel weird. If anything, it causes a little bit of excitement to stir up in your stomach.
It's true that your crush on him is not as deep as it once was and you're not looking for a relationship at the moment, but for some reason, you feel like when you're ready, you may just fall for him harder than you have ever before.
Clearing your throat, you come up with a response that you think is just right. "In that case, I'll have to make sure that I don't forget to tell you about it."
Hoseok turns around immediately to look at you with a surprised look as if that was the last thing he had expected you to say. But when that surprised look turns into that of relief, your previous questions about Hoseok's intent are answered.
A smile appears on his lips when his surprise fades and he makes a promise to himself to not waste the chance you have been kind enough to give him again. "I'll eagerly wait for that day"
Something in your heart blooms at the soft look he gives you and you nod.
After that, both of your chit-chat resumes and you two giggle and laugh like never before while you pack your stuff. Once you're done, you get ready to leave. "I'll get going then?"
With a gleeful smile, Hoseok responds, "see you next Saturday."
As you're walking out of the door, a thought appears to you. "Oh, also, you can't search for people on Tinder."
And then you're gone.
Hoseok watches your retreating figure and he has to try really hard to stop smiling like a fool.
Maybe there will be no need for Tinder after all.
Namjoon
Tumblr media
"I love Y/N," as soon as the words are out of his mouth, he winces, anticipating and dreading Yoongi's reaction.
Yoongi, on the other hand, merely blinks at Namjoon's words. ".....and?"
Out of all the reactions, Namjoon thought Yoongi would give, this was not one of them. This makes things way scarier for him because he thinks this is Yoongi's version of 'calm before the storm'.
"Listen, you can be mad at me all you want. I understand but I just wanted to let you know." Namjoon rambles, his voice coming out high-pitched.
A small frown appears on Yoongi's face. This is it, Namjoon thinks.
"Why do you assume that I'm mad?" Yoongi's question, however, leaves Namjoon perplexed. He searches for any form of pretence on Yoongi's features but when he doesn't find any, he sighs.
"I don't know–" Yoongi's frown deepening is enough for Namjoon to backtrack and start speaking the truth. "–you told me that if I were to ever try to show interest in your sister, our friendship would be over."
"I mean, I don't recall saying that but it does sound like something I'd say," Yoongi nods.
Now it's Namjoon's turn to frown. Is Yoongi mad or not? "What am I supposed to make of it?"
"Nothing," Yoongi shrugs. "I should rather ask you, what was your purpose in telling me that you have feelings for Y/N? Was it because you felt like you had to ask for my permission? Or were you scared that it would affect our friendship?" A chuckle escapes Yoongi's lips.
Namjoom sighs, feeling his muscles relax as he finally lets himself realise that Yoongi isn't mad. "I think it's more of the latter."
"So you won't ask for my permission, before pursuing her?" A scowl appears on Yoongi's face which immediately makes Namjoon stutter.
"I–I–I didn't mean that. Of course, I would ask for your permission."
Yoongi tries his hardest to hold back the satisfied smirk that tries to make an appearance. It's nice to see Namjoon being scared of him every once in a while.
"That's better," Yoongi hums. "And you don't have to worry about ruining our friendship and all that shit. That's very high school."
Namjoon feels like he can breathe again. After weeks, it feels like he can finally be honest with himself and most importantly with you, without being scared. A wide dimpled smile appears on his face at the thought of finally confessing to you.
"Gosh, that's annoying," Yoongi huffs, with no real annoyance in his tone. If anything, he's glad to see the wide grin on his friend's face. "If she does reciprocate your feelings and the two of you become a couple, I do hope that the two of you don't turn out to be one of those intolerable ones."
You find almost everything intolerable. That's the thought that comes to Namjoon's mind but before he can speak those words, a much scary thought appears to him which takes his breath away.
"What if Y/N does not accept my feelings?" His voice comes out in a whisper, too scared to speak those words loudly.
Yoongi thinks the chances of that happening are very low. But he chooses not to say it. It's your feelings, you're the only one who knows where they lie. Yoongi does not wish to assume. Instead, he chooses to assure his friend that even if he were to get turned down, he will be there for him.
"I will order a bottle of champagne and soju, each. If things work out, then we will celebrate with champagne. If they don't, then we can have soju."
Namjoon is grateful for Yoongi's words, he really is but the fear that courses through his veins makes it impossible for him to think straight. "You don't get it. She confessed to me and I turned her down."
This time, a genuine scowl appears on Yoongi's face. "Why would you do that?"
Namjoon lets out a heavy breath. "I thought you'd be mad and our friendship would get ruined."
Yoongi tries his hardest not to let his eyes roll but ultimately fails. "Now I remember why I had told you not to pursue my sister."
Namjoon's heart drops at the comment. Is Yoongi about to change his mind?
"One because it was high school and you were going through your fuckboy stage," Yoongi says, with squinted eyes that make it obvious that he's judging Namjoon. "Second, you were dense as fuck at times. Which, clearly, hasn't changed even now."
That had been two days ago.
After the very scary chat session with Yoongi, Namjooon needed some time to recover. Two days to be exact. Now he has finally managed to grab the courage to talk to you and be honest.
His hands hover in the air for a few moments before he knocks. He hopes and wants this to go well, otherwise, he thinks, he won't be able to forgive himself.
You frown when you hear the knock. Who has decided to bother you on a fine Sunday?
You set aside the book you were reading and begrudgingly get up. With heavy steps, you head towards the door and swing it open. The regret that hits you is instantaneous. You should have checked through the peephole before opening.
Namjoon notices your features drop and it makes him feel terribly guilty for his actions and words. With that guilt, also comes the strong need to make things right.
"Do you need something?" You keep your tone cold to avoid any display of emotion. It's not that you are mad at him for the rejection. You're hurt about it, sure. Mad? No.
However, you feel incredibly embarrassed about confessing the way you did. You are aware that you were under the influence of alcohol but that doesn't make it any less humiliating.
"I need to talk to you," Namjoon replies shakily as he finds his anxiety increasing. What if you have decided to move on or have come to the conclusion that he isn't worth it?
You'd really like to make an excuse as to why you wouldn't be able to talk right now but something in you makes you decide otherwise. Maybe it's because you don't want things to be awkward between the two of you as it would put Yoongi in a tough spot. Or maybe it's because you hate seeing Namjoon so anxious, that you find yourself moving out of his way.
"Can I take a seat?" He asks awkwardly, with his index finger pointing at the couch, when he realises that you are simply waiting for him to start talking about whatever it is that he is here for.
You are aware that you are being rude but you honestly don't know how to behave 'normally' around him, anymore. So, you simply hum and wait for him to take a seat.
"Uhm," he clears his throat, "I wanted to talk to you about what happened at the party."
"We can talk about anything but that," you say pointedly. There's no way you are going to talk about that night when all you want is to leave that memory somewhere far behind.
Namjoon notices the discomfort that etches your features despite your attempts at hiding it and sighs. "Okay, then I won't bring that up but I need to tell you something."
"Go on."
Namjoon takes in a deep breath before closing his eyes to grab the courage to let the words spill out. "I'm in love with you."
At first, the words don't sink in.
You stand there, leaning against the wall, watching Namjoon. However, when you see the scared and anxious look on his face, you replay his words in your mind.
I'm in love with you.
He's in love with you.
The thought makes you angry.
You scoff. "Do you expect me to take you seriously?"
Namjoon shakes his head. "I don't expect you to but just hear me out."
"I don't want to." You declare stubbornly.
"I know but give me just one chance to explain myself." He pleads gently, not wanting you to feel as if you have to hear him out. He has already caused you enough pain and if you choose that you do not wish to hear him out, he is going to respect that.
You want to laugh at Namjoon's request. You can accept the fact that he does not have feelings for you, no matter how hard that might be. But accepting that he is in love with you after the pain that you have been through? You can't accept that.
You'd very much like to close this topic and never have either of you mention it. But you can't say no to Namjoon when he looks like that. He is one of your biggest weaknesses and not hearing him out would cause you pain as well.
Instead of telling him verbally that you will hear him out, you look out of the window and stare outside blankly, which is enough for Namjoon to know that you're listening.
"I never thought that my feelings would be reciprocated. Which is why, I did not know what to say and said what I thought was right, at the time," his voice comes out vulnerable.
You feel your annoyance flaring. If that really were the case he could have just said the truth. Why lie? Whose first instinct is to lie about their feelings, upon realising that they are not one sided?
Namjoon's next words answer your unasked question. "After my last two relationships ended the way, they did, I thought that all my relationships were destined to be doomed. I was scared to commit to anyone, especially you."
He sighs. "If we were to date and break up, it would change everything not only for the both of us but also for Yoongi. And if that were to happen I'd never be able to forgive myself."
It was around the time that Namjoon mentioned his last two relationships, that you stopped pretending to not care about what he had to say. You know how sensitive the topic is for him and for him to bring it up now, it must be serious.
To put it simply, his last two relationships ended terribly. But each time, Namjoon blamed himself and thought that it was entirely his fault, which you know isn't the case.
Now that Namjoon breaks it down to you, you find your anger fading and find yourself sympathising with him. You may not agree with his actions but you can understand where he was coming from.
What you don't understand, however, is why he is telling you these things. If you're understanding him right, he said what he said at the party because he was scared. But now, he is here, telling you that he loves you. But why?
"Why are you telling me this?" You ask and you are surprised by the lack of coldness in your voice. Maybe it's because he's being vulnerable with you that gives you the courage to put your embarrassment aside for the time being.
Namjoon smiles softly. "I had a chat with Yoongi and it made me realise that I am the only one who thinks this way."
He was indeed scared shitless of his feelings affecting the friendship between him and Yoongi. He had taken Yoongi's cautionary way too seriously and while he was under that impression, what scared him even more was that he would take the risk of being with you only to later wish that he had stayed in his lane. He thought that maybe Yoongi too shares the same viewpoint as he does and hence had asked him to stay from you.
When he had gathered the courage to talk about it to Yoongi, it was with the intention of getting Yoongi's approval. Namjoon already knew that he wasn't going to listen to the voice in his head and that you were worth the risk.
However, when Namjoon went back to his dorms and thought about the conversation he had with Yoongi, it made him realise that he was the only one who was holding these beliefs. Not only that, but Yoongi's reaction made him believe in himself, because even if Yoongi won't ever say it out loud, his calm and nonchalant behaviour was him letting Namjoon know that he trusts him.
"Plus," Namjoon continues, "I know I would regret it forever if I were to let you go simply because I was scared."
You swallow at his words as any remaining trace of anger is washed away from your body.
You know it can't be easy to do something when your insecurities are constantly telling you to do otherwise. But him doing just that, serves as a testimony of his love for you. Hence, even though at the beginning you weren't willing to accept his declaration of love, now you find your heart melting.
"So," you fiddle with your fingers. "What does all this mean?"
"Well if you have forgiven me for my stupidity, I'd like to take you out on a date." Namjoon hopes it isn't too soon to ask you out. But more than anything else, he wishes for your forgiveness.
His words make your chest hurt and you immediately rush to make things clear. "There's nothing to be forgiven, I never held a grudge against you."
"But you wouldn't even look at me?" He asks, with a pained look.
Your heart sinks further. You had thought that it was only painful for you clearly that wasn't the case. "That's because I was embarrassed. It's just incredibly stupid to get drunk because you saw the man you love kissing someone else and then going and confessing like that."
Aaaahhhh.
Right, that whole him making out with someone, thing. He now remembers you mentioning it at the party.
"Sorry to break it to you, but I did not kiss anyone," a small amused smile plays on his lips. "I was only helping the girl to get rid of something that had gotten into her eyes."
Your eyes widen when you hear that. Gosh, could you be any more stupid? You close your eyes tightly and groan in annoyance.
Namjoon gets up from the couch and slowly walks towards you. He understands why it might have looked like he was making out with someone, after all, parties have the worst lighting. But he doesn't want you to feel embarrassed about it. After all, if it hadn't been for that misunderstanding, you would have never confessed and neither would he.
After a small moment of hesitation, he puts his palm on your cheek and urges you to open your eyes.
"Hey," he whispers. "I'm really glad you misunderstood things that day. But I can assure you, that yours are the only lips I would ever want to kiss."
His words make you gulp. Here you were drowning in embarrassment a few moments ago and here you are now, breathless from the close proximity.
"Prove it," you whisper back.
Namjoon's eyes fall on your lips. As much as he would like to feel how soft your lips are, he wants to do things right.
With great willpower, he brings his eyes back to yours and kisses you on the forehead. "Trust me, there's nothing more I want than kissing you right now. But I want to take you out on a date first."
You chuckle at his words. "Well then, take me out on a date and at the end of it, kiss me like you mean it."
Namjoon's heart does a little dance at your words and he already feels his mind coming up with ideas of how he can make the date one that you never forget. "I'll make the date as perfect as you are."
Maybe you two will indeed be like one of those couples, Yoongi finds intolerable.

Kiss Me More
Tumblr media
pairing: namjoon x f. reader
genre: brother's best friend au, one-bed trope, tiny fluff, 18+
summary: Your older brother, Seokjin, is nothing but a schemer when he goes out of town and forgets to mention he's also asked Namjoon to house-sit. Oops!
wc: 1.4k
warnings: none?
date: April 8, 2023
Tumblr media
This was wrong! So wrong! But it felt so right. Years of pent-up sexual tension, years of crushing on your brother's best friend, all for this moment.
You’re not entirely sure if Seokjin meant to get you and Namjoon to house-sit while he went off on vacation with his boyfriend, but when you showed up with your bags to find Namjoon lounging in gray sweatpants on the couch, you were very surprised.
You had driven over three hours to be here, and you’d be damned if you drove all the way back. Namjoon had also driven here from the same city you lived in, and he’d be damned if he didn’t collect on his payment.
The first night had been slightly awkward, avoiding each other as much as possible, both calling Seokjin to chew him out, but all your brother had to say was ‘oops.’
“Take the bed,” Namjoon insisted as he grabbed a blanket out of the linen closet.
“No, you were here first. You take it,” you stated, stomping your foot. Namjoon rolled his eyes. “I don’t want it.”
“I don’t want it,” you said, making him sigh heavily.
“And why not?”
“Because you were here first!” you shouted, huffing as you crossed your arms.
“Oh my lord, you’re just as stubborn as Jin!”
“I resent that!” you scoff.
“Just take the bed, Y/N.”
“No. Let’s share it,” you suggest, and Namjoon raises a brow.
“Share the bed? Are you mad?” Namjoon scoffs.
“Okay,” you shrug. “I was just trying to be nice ‘cause your big body won’t fit on the couch. Enjoy being folded up like a lawn chair.”
Namjoon looks over at the couch, cursing when he realizes that you’re right.
Clearing his throat, he says, “Well, maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to share the bed.”
“That’s what I thought,” you grin as you head to the bedroom to get ready for bed. Namjoon waits until you’re back in the living room, his gaze trying to focus on anything except the supple skin of your thighs in your tiny sleep shorts.
Were you trying to torture him? Wasn’t it bad enough that he’d always had a crush on you, but now you were essentially forced to share a bed?
“Are you just gonna stare or get in bed?” you ask as you grab a glass of water from the kitchen. Namjoon hesitates for a moment, but the couch is digging into his back and he’d rather not end up at the chiropractor snapped like a glow stick.
Upon entering the bedroom, Namjoon pauses at the end of the bed. You pretend the heat of his stare doesn’t bother you.
“What?” you finally ask, raising a brow in question.
“That’s usually my side of the bed.” he clears his throat, feeling heat rise to his cheeks and on the tip of his ears.
You sigh, scooting to the other side. “Anything else, your highness?”
Namjoon ignores the sarcasm in your tone.
“Well, now that you’ve asked…” Namjoon rubs the nape of his neck. “Would you care if I slept without a shirt? I get stuffy at night.”
You freeze, biting your lower lip. Your body thrums with nerves and excitement, clearing your throat. “Do as you please, Joon. It’s not my house.”
Namjoon shrugs, knowing that’s the best he’s gonna get from you. He grabs his shirt from the back of his neck, obstructing his view and missing the way your jaw drops, nearly unhinged when you take in his smooth honeyed skin.
When Namjoon’s face comes back into view, you’re looking down at your phone, scrolling as if having him shirtless was a normal occurrence.
Without another word, Namjoon gets into bed, pulling the covers over him while he scrolls through his social media on his phone. You’re not sure who moves closer first, or who shares their screen, but soon you’re both laughing at videos and yawning until you’re fast asleep at his side.
Tumblr media
Waking up in the middle of the night is unusual for you. For a moment, you panic, not recognizing the room as your own before remembering its Jin’s. Just as the realization hits, your eyes widen when you feel the weight of an arm around your waist. You’re shocked to the core, debating whether to roll over or just try to go back to sleep. However, the arm comes with heat, so much heat that you grow clammy almost immediately.
Carefully, you tug the covers off you until they bunch at your waist and you finally feel like you can breathe.
Behind you, Namjoon grunts, his arm sliding off your body as he rolls onto his back. You inhale and exhale, slowly rolling to face him.
You smile when you note he’s still sound asleep. He looks so cute with his hair ruffled on the pillow, his broad chest rising and falling with each of his breaths.
“How long are you gonna stare at me?” Namjoon asks.
You blink, jumping in your spot.
His chuckle makes your face heat. How long had he been awake?
“Long enough,” Namjoon answers with a shrug. He smirks when he sees the startled look that crosses your face. “Cat got your tongue?”
“I was just…” you have nothing to say. No lies come out of your mouth and all you can do is suffer in your embarrassment as you clear your throat.
“Well, goodnight!”
Namjoon laughs, shaking his head as he scoots closer to you. He gently places his hand on your face, making you look at him. “Don’t shy away from me now, love.”
You nod, unable to form a response. Namjoon remains silent as his thumb circles your skin, going to trace your bottom lip.
“You’re so beautiful,” he whispers.
“What?”
“You’ve always been so beautiful. Inside and out,” he goes on as he traces your lip again. “It’s been so hard to hide my feelings for you for so long.”
“Namjoon,” you start, unsure of where this is going.
However, Namjoon continues. “I’m sure Seokjin set this up, and I can’t say I’m mad.”
“Seokjin knows?” you ask incredulously.
“I mean, I don’t keep secrets from him. I’m sure he noticed years ago.”
“That nosy, meddling, little snot! I bet he set us up! He was asking me about you the other day and like a dumbass, I told him you were hot!” you exclaim, annoyance bubbling in your chest.
“You think I’m hot?” Namjoon smiles smugly and you scream into his palm. He laughs harder, his shoulders shaking as he hushes you.
“Don’t let it go to your big ole head, Joonie! You know you’re hot! You own a mirror!” you scoff and he rolls his eyes playfully.
“Just admit you like me,” he grins.
You huff, rolling onto your back to stare at the ceiling. Namjoon sits up on his elbow, “Come on, love. Just say it. Admit it, you like me.”
“I liked you more when you were snoring away,” you grumble.
“And now I’m wide awake. Come on, I told you I like you,” Namjoon pouts. You sigh heavily before muttering something under your breath.
Namjoon cups his ear with his large hand. “I’m sorry. What was that? I didn’t quite hear you.”
“You’re so annoying!” you groan. “I said I like you! There! I said it! Now, go to sleep!” you demand.
“You expect me to sleep after that?” Namjoon rolls his eyes as his hand rests on your hip, making you roll over to face him. “I’ve been waiting for ages to hear you say it. There’s no way I’m going back to sleep now.”
“Well, I am,” you lie as you close your eyes. Namjoon giggles as he cups your face, lowering his lips until they brush against yours. You’re surprised but immediately kiss him back, your arms wrapped around his neck to pull him close.
Namjoon kisses you gently, allowing you to lead, and parting his lips when your tongue presses against them in your urge to taste him. Your name escapes him in a breathy moan, sending tingles down your spine before you break apart.
A bashful smile illuminates your face as Namjoon presses his forehead to yours. “That was better than I ever imagined.”
“Oh yeah? How about we do it again?” you grin as you press your lips to his, moaning when he bites on your bottom lip. Namjoon groans, kissing you deeply like he’s always wanted to. He hopes this isn’t a dream as you pull him closer, melting beneath his broad body, hands roaming over his back.
“Kiss me more,” you plead when he trails kisses to your neck. He nips at the column of your throat before making his way back to your mouth, kissing you again and again until you’ve had your fill.

namjoon’s studio isn’t any bigger once the cheque snakes it’s way through sports, visual, and performance art sections. it’s still nestled in the far back of the basement floor, soundproof and insulated well, with a new processing ram and very expensive soundboard from his personal wishlist.
his canceling headphones have a snag, the sound comes out in gurgled static on the left side; it vibes with the old school urban hip hop sound he’s been going for.
“yoons’ help me out with this one.” he explains when a smooth bass filters through.
it’s melodic, nothing like anything else he’s played before.
her brother’s talented where he wants to be, but she’d rather die before letting him know.
“boo sucks at everything he does.” she replies happily, turning one of the few dials she knows. unlabelled and confident.
“you suck too.” he pulls her in his lap; the gaming chair he bought from jungkook creaks.
her eyes are closed as he kneads her skin; digging at his favorite spots. his lips search for her’s from the shoulder onward and up.
his voice is steady out the speaker, raw and rough.
it reminds her of their recent escapade in the pantry. tucked behind sauce and spice, bending out of pots and pans’ way.
she can taste him if she tries,
“and swallow.”

Welp here is another one. This will be OT7(focus on Namjoon coz he is my bias, but bonds will be formed with others too) with A/B/O dynamics, Vikings influences, with badass but slightly low-esteem oc, stray kids as her platonic family, battle, blood, revenge, game of thrones-esque plot, death and lots of sex.
It will be multi chaptered.
Please share your thoughts and let me know what you think.
P.S. The title means 'to find' in old norse.
SUMMARY- You never really thought that your destiny would take you so far away from home.
CHAPTER 1|CHAPTER-2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It rains the day you lay eyes on your intended.
In the blood-stained field in front of the castle that you call your home stands him, Kim Namjoon, the biggest warlord the world had ever witnessed. His army consisted of thousands even millions, those savages, as the south would like to call them, were more powerful and disciplined than any army you had ever seen. Their troops were roguish in looks, yes, but their skill in battle was no joke.
Kim Namjoon’s skill in battle was no joke. He fought bare-chested with an axe and a sword; you had heard that he could cut down men with a single sweep of his sword. He was a true demon in battle, as most raiders were, but his skills put the best warriors in your homeland’s army to shame. His great heathen army slaughtered your king’s army by thousands every day, other than leaving hundreds of men injured.
You would know as the chief healer, stitching wounds, cauterizing them, applying salve to burns, cuts were fine. Holding the hands of dying soldiers as they hallucinated their mothers, lovers, wives and sisters was not, not even for someone like you who was used to blood, battle and death.
But you pushed on, for the king, for the country, for the people, you worked day and night you pushed on.
These days the workload had been increased as the king had no taken to treat the prisoners of war as well. The injured and the dying of the heathen army were brought to the camps to get medical assistance if possible and the injured ones were returned to their camps and the dead were returned to the opposing army with respect.
You were not thankful for the workload but what could you do, the king commands and the rest follow.
You were not thankful for the workload but you applauded your king’s nobility nonetheless. Your brother, Christopher Bang was nothing if not noble and kind and humble. Maybe that was why his army were ready to die and kill for him. Maybe it was because he thought of all as equal, be it the duke or the beggar’s son, Alpha, Omega or Beta everyone was equal in the eyes of your Alpha brother.
Maybe that was why you, an Omega, were working in an army camp filled with betas and alphas at all times of the night and day. Maybe that’s why you as an omega, could kill and maim as well as any alpha.
He was strong, your brother, but too kind, too truthful and too righteous for the world that he was in, younger than you but still on the throne for the gods gave him a cock and the second gender of an alpha and you a cunt and the curse of being an omega.
You weren’t brother and sister by blood, you were the orphan the previous king found on a hunting trip, half feral, in the jungle, at the age of seven.  You were brought to the castle, Christopher took one look at your small, slight frame, for he was a giant to you even at the age of five, and decided that you would be his noona. You took his hand and resolved to protect him forever. Nothing much was needed after that.
He deserved better though, you thought. Better than this wretched war and that godforsaken alpha Kim Namjoon who is intent on busting down the doors of your home.
Your name being called out draws you out of your mental reverie.
“Princess, the king calls for you at the front.” Ser Seo Changbin of your brother’s personal guard says.
You finish stitching the heathen soldier’s wound and apply salve and bandage before patting him roughly on the shoulder and getting up.
“What is it?”
“The king calls for you. He did not tell me the reason, your grace.”
You gesture ser Changbin to head the way as you follow him to the wall where your royal brother awaits you. He turns towards you as you come near.
“Leave us.” He commands.
“Is everything alright, my king?”
“Call me Chris, sister, how many do I have to repeat that?” he says.
“When we are alone, my king.”
He sighs, but motions to the battlefield, a far away look in his eyes as he looks down upon the ruin the battle has caused on the once green fields.
“We are not going to be able to defend ourselves for much longer if this goes on, sister, Kim Namjoon gets closer to defeating us every day. We cannot keep going for much longer.” He says. He sounds tired, too tired for someone his age.
“Why don’t you sit on the war council with me sister, we could use your skills?”
“You know why, you might not mind your omega sister, one of common blood at that running around with a sword in her hand, but others do. Alphas do, I would rather die than let anyone of them insult you again after what happened. You know better.” You spoke.
He sighed heavily.
You look at your younger brother, he looks as though the weight of the world sits on his shoulders. It does in some way, you think, this kingdom, as large as it is, it is your world.
His world.
He fights for it today, for its very existence.
Of course, the weight of this responsibility weighs him down. He is fighting, not only for his kingdom, but his world, his home.
“Is it time that we seek a truce with them?” You ask.
“We have no leverage; he knows he can defeat us. He needn’t sue for peace to ask for anything, he can take it, all of it.”
The sun has gone down, you see the enemy camp at a distance, its torches shine bright.
“Then we can only hope to reach stalemate, Chan-ah” You call him by the name your mother called him when she was alive and try to calm him down with your scent.
“I hope so”
He suddenly seizes you by the shoulders and says, “Stay near the battle field tomorrow, sister, I feel that tomorrow might be the day- “he stops, his hands trembling slightly.
“I need you by my side noona, I need you there, the troops need their lioness. I need you, We need you. It could be tomorrow that that godforsaken man would break down the doors of the castle. I don’t care about what happened five years ago on that wretched battlefield. I care about now, about today.”
You looked in the distance. Towards the enemy camp and remembered the amount of injured and dead on your hands, the heavy losses and the weeping mothers, fathers, daughters, sons and wives. You had to be there, if not for your sake then for the sake of your country.
“I will be there Chan-ah. Noona will watch over you. Ask my personal 300 to report.”
He takes you in his arms after that, keeping you in his embrace and you let your forehead rest on his broad chest. He holds you tight enough and breaths your scent in, as if you are the only thing keeping him grounded.
Nothing is said after that, as both of you silently carry the fear of tomorrow in your hearts.
…………………………….
The next day clouds gather in the sky as you don your armour.
You hadn’t stepped in the battle field not since the last war, not after what happened five years ago.
Blood.
All that you could see was blood, it stained everything in sight.
Your hand, your face, your armour, the field around you.
There was a strange ringing in your ears, you moved forward regardless, your axe cutting down everyone and everything that stood in front of you.
A voice called.
You knew that voice.
It was coming nearer.
The person was in front of you.
You swung the axe, but people were suddenly holding you back, you could not move.
The voice was closer, louder, shouting.
“Noona”
You gasped as if you had just broken the surface of the water in the lake and looked around.
You saw worried and slightly horrified looks. You saw your brother looking at you, scared and unsure.
In your daze, in your state of berserk, you had tried to kill your brother.
You hadn’t stepped in war since. You were afraid to lose control, afraid that you would kill your own men in that state.
Being a berserker was not easy, the warrior lost themselves in that state, all that mattered was killing, not injury, not pain, not fatigue, just death. You had been stabbed in the arm and calf that day but you had not stopped your killing spree regardless. The title of lioness bestowed upon you that day and your fame as a berserker had spread far and wide.
Stories were told about the omega berserker who had lost herself and battle and killed half a million people in a single day, who had won the war in a single day. No one had dared to attack your homeland after that, until now.
So, for the sake of the king, your brother, and your people you don the armour you had abandoned.
You sighed and headed to your horse, and followed your brother to the battlefield.

Helppp...
Mafia step- brother x reader: This is a fairly popular concept on wattpad and even youtube. I haven't found any good ones so i want to write it in my style. Now for the summury Y/N was the middle child of - and - with a twin brother- and a younger sister -. They were a close knit family until tragedy struck where her father died protecting her younger sister. Your twin, being the man of the house decided to take over his dad's legacy of protecting the family, who were weak. But in the process forgetting about you since you knew how to defend yourself, thanks to your father. One day tired of the neglect, you leave home to clear your mind, only to find a man on the brink of death, who refused to go to the hospital. After treating him with limited medical supplies, He revels to be your fathers old friend. How will Y/N's life change? Will she find happiness on the new path that she takes? Or regret it for the rest of her life?
This was just something that came to mind after writing my recent 8th member fic. Summery: You joined Hybe along with BTS, befriended them, Helped them, Became famous, They fall for you. The only difference is you were an idol in your past life as well and returned to the past with all the modern knowledge. Basically the same concept just a few story difference.
This came to mind while reading the manhwa " Death is the only Ending for the Villainess" so the Summery: Y/N was adopted in the family to be the fake daughter, running after her family's affection. She poisions herself after one of her brothers tell her she is better off dead, Reader wakes in the body, Does everything in her power to avoid them but they now want her attention. Will she give it to them? What will happen if the real daughter comes back?

They Reject You (Hyung Line)- Part One
Pairing: BTS x Reader
Warnings: small mentions of alcohol, there might be curse words here and there.
Genre: angst (but it's not that bad, i think?)
A/N: If you enjoy my writing and wish to support me, consider joining my patreon!
Jin
Tumblr media
"That's cute," Jin quips.
"Huh?" You say in a questioning tone. Not understanding what exactly he is commenting on.
"The guy preparing dishes for the girl, even though he sucks like really bad at it." He replies with an amused smirk playing on his lips.
Your eyes drift back to the screen for a brief moment to see the said guy now mistaking sugar for salt.
"I mean, dude is trying, so yeah, it is cute," you agree with a nod and take another scoop out of your ice cream tub.
"If only he had my cooking skills." He boasts, leaning back slightly as his smirk turns cocky.
"You went from complimenting the lead guy to complimenting yourself, real quick." You quirk a brow at him, letting him know that you totally intend on calling him out.
"Does that surprise you?" He ask, quirking a brow of his own, in return.
A soft smile appears on your lips. "Considering that it's you, no, it really doesn't."
He nods at you to agree with your words. "Hey, but it's true though. I am a great cook and my girl would be really lucky to have me as her man."
Something about the phrase my girl rubs you off in the wrong way. Maybe it's because when he speaks it like that, your brain comes up with the image of someone faceless being all coupley with him. But that's the thing, you don't want that person to be faceless, you want it to be you.
"So you'll cook for your girlfriend?" You ask trying to keep your tone playful to hide the way your stomach is currently churning.
He looks at you as if you have asked the most ridiculous question and as if the answer to that question should be obvious. "Duh, that's like one of my top date ideas. To cook for the girl I love and wooing her with my skills."
You hum in response.
Does he ever think of you that way? Is the person faceless to him as well? Or does he have someone he likes already?
"Jin," you call out, not thinking straight and acting solely on the emotions that are coursing through your veins. Perhaps, you have had enough of bottling up these feelings and of not having a clue where you stand.
He responds with a hum before glancing away from the screen to look at you.
"I have feelings for you."
For a few moments there's only silence except for the noises from the TV and in those few moments you keep your eyes locked with his, simply because you're far too anxious to move even in the slightest. Plus, having your eyes on him allows you to notice every emotion that plays on his face.
But the longer the silence stretches, the more your heart sinks.
If you were to go by his reaction, or lack thereof, you know, that whatever words he's about to speak, will only break your heart.
Jin closes and opens his mouth a few times, searching for a reply. He just wants to say something, anything that will break this awkward silence.
"You can just be honest with me, you know?" You say, adding a light chuckle at the end, in hopes that it will make him feel comfortable enough to spit out whatever it is that he wants to say.
Thankfully, it seems to give him enough courage.
"I just, haven't ever thought about us like that and your confession caught me extremely off guard." Jin sighs. "But I'm glad you confessed, I can imagine how tiring it can get to keep your feelings to yourself. I just hope now you feel a little lighter and I really don't know what's the app–"
He is cut off by a something small hitting him right across the face. When he realises that it's a popcorn and that it's you, who has aimed it at him, he stops his rambling and looks at you with a confused frown.
"You don't have to ramble so much," you snort.
"I just don't know what to say," Jin for some reason looks disappointed with himself. "Just give me sometime?"
You shrug, pretending to be totally unbothered. "Don't worry about it. Take all the time you need."
With that you turn back towards the tv screen, and rewind the movie a little bit because you have no idea how the plot progressed in the last ten minutes. Jin takes the hint that this conversation is over, at least, for now and resumes watching the movie.
However, you can feel his eyes swiftly move to your face every now and then, just to make sure you're okay.
Any other time, you'd have appreciated it and cooed at how sweet and caring he is, but right now, you honestly hate it.
Because even though he didn't directly say it, you understood what he meant. He does not know how to turn you down.
You understood it the moment he said that that he has never thought about the two of you like 'that'. As someone who knows what falling in love feels like, you know, picturing yourself with the person you want, is something that happens automatically. It's just a part of the process.
But it never occurred to him that way because he never really found himself falling for you.
So for the next twenty minutes, you pretend to be slowly falling asleep to avoid any sort of interactions with the man sitting a few feet away.
Min Yoongi:
Tumblr media
"You're late," that's the first thing Yoongi says when you take your seat. Rightly so, you think. Afterall, you're half an hour late and had it not been for your text you're pretty sure Yoongi would have left by now.
"I'm sorry, there was too much traffic," you lie hoping he buys it.
He nods but a part of you thinks he doesn't completely believe it, yet chooses not to question your words.
Instead he hands over the menu to you. "What would you like to order?"
"I will just have the usual, I guess," you reply not bothering to skim through the menu.
"Well then," he dings the bell, notifying the waiter that you both are ready to order.
Once the waiter has noted down both of your orders and is gone, you find yourself glancing around awkwardly to avoid his eyes.
"How was your Sunday?" His deep voice greets your ears and you mentally curse out loud.
"It was just another Sunday," you shrug, not bothering to keep up the conversation because honestly, you're scared as fuck to exceute your plan.
Okay, that sounded very spy like but it's not that serious.
Your plan is to confess to Yoongi.
Yoongi is the man you're engaged to.
The man you're engaged to because getting married to him, would be extremely beneficial to both of your father's companies. The man with whom you have gone on ten dates so far, because although, arranged, you two should get the oppurtunity to get to know each other before marriage. The man for whom you've found yourself falling, just after the third date.
When you put it like that, it does sound as intense as being a spy. Because even though the two of you have been on dates and are about to get married, Yoongi isn't someone who's emotions can be read very easily.
You don't even know if he enjoys your company or agrees to go on the dates with you just because he feels like he has to. He doesn't make you feel unwanted but that doesn't mean you feel particularly wanted either. It's somewhere in between. Which is confusing as fuck, to be honest.
But it's not like all that matters. You both are getting married eitherways, so the bare minimum you can do is to be honest about your feelings for him. That way, you'd let him know where you stand in this arrangement.
You have told yourself that just because you found yourself falling for him this quick doesn't mean he'll too. If his current feelings for you, turns out to be platonic, you'll be okay with it. But that doesn't mean that a part of you does not hope for him to reciprocate your feelings.
And it's because of your 'plan' to confess, that you were late by half an hour. You just kept pacing in your office and lost track of time.
But now that you're here sitting infront of him, and staring at him, you realise that there's no point in stalling.
"Actually, I realised something this Sunday," you say.
He quirks a brow that lets you know that you've got his attention. "What that realisation might be?"
You sigh, feeling your nerves take over. "That if we're going to get married, we should be honest with each other."
His curious expression turns into that of a confused frown. "What do you mean?"
You chew on your lower lip before taking a deep breath in hopes that it will provide you with the courage you need to just let the words out. "I like you."
Yoongi's face remains neutral but you don't miss the glimpse of surprise that flashes through his eyes. That surprise is enough to tell you that he wasn't expecting that.
He remains silent for a few moments and you let him be. Before he can speak, the waiter comes with the food which breaks the tense atmosphere.
Thanking him, you take your portion of chicken on your plate, when Yoongi starts speaking.
"Thanks for being honest with me," he says it softly and in a tone that lets you know that he means it. It also lets you know that there is a but coming. "But I guess I have been too stuck in my head to let myself relax and feel anything."
There we go.
You know you said that you'd be okay with him turning you down but now you don't feel okay at all.
It hurts.
But you guess, you should have seen it coming.
It doesn't help that from the very moment, you realised your feelings for Yoongi, your brain had been imagining you two being happily married and being in love with each other. Basically living with each other like any other couple who marry in normal circumstances.
Your hurt must have been visible on your face because as soon as Yoongi notices the effect his words have, he starts fumbling with his words.
"Look-What I mean to say–"
You chuckle, albeit a fake one, to put him at ease. "You don't have to explain yourself, it's okay."
Yoongi looks unsure but figures he doesn't know what else to say. Which is why he ends up asking, "are you sure?"
You nod and give him  smile, hoping to reassure him.
As you look back at your plate, you find yourself wondering what this marriage is going to be like. It's not exactly loveless, but then that love isn't reciprocated. You find yourself panicking extremely, when you think of the both of you living together.
Fuck, what's worse is now he's aware of what you feel for him. You two would pretend to be happily married to the rest of the world and be awkward when away from the public eye.
What the fuck have you gotten yourself into.
Hoseok:
Tumblr media
It's weird now that you have confessed to Hoseok, your dance teacher.
You know when the term "teacher" is used in a sentence like that, people usually frown. But you'd come to your defense and say, that there's nothing frown-worthy here.
You're twenty two and he's twenty six, both adults and belong to the age group where you both can make your own decisions. Plus, it isn't the usual teacher-student scenario here. Although, you and Hoseok started off with him being your teacher, gradually the two of you became friends.
Hence, it's fair to say he isn't just your teacher.
It's when you started to get to know him outside of the four walls of your classroom, that you started to fall for him. How could you not? He's a literal sunshine. A person who can light up anyone's mood and someone who's presence feels so warm and bright.
You've honestly, never met someone like him before.
You think he should have seen your confession coming but the surprised Pikachu face he made upon your decaration of love, told you that he clearly did not anticipate that.
The whole confessing thing went fine. You were scared, yes, but you did it. What isn't fine, however, is how he is yet to give you an answer.
But it was you who had asked him to take as much time as he needed and to not feel pressured. But after seven long days, you're getting antsy.
Which is why, once the class is over, you linger until everyone else is gone. Once you notice that there's no one else and just you and Hoseok, you head towards him.
You tap on his shoulders to make him aware of your presence.
He turns around and upon noticing that it's you, he gives you one of your sunshine smiles. "Hello."
"Hey," you return his smile and greet him back. "If you don't mind, can I talk to you about something?"
He nods without missing a beat and you honestly love how this isn't awkward at all. Although, by the look in his eyes, you think he has some idea what you want to say. "Did you think about what I said last week?"
Hoseok gives you a nod again, and this time his smile turns apologetic. "Yes I did and I'm so sorry for not reaching out to you any sooner."
You wave your hand in the hair dismissing his words. "Don't apologise, it's obvious that you'd need your time to gain some clarity."
"Thank you so much for being so understanding." He feels relieved to hear your words but sighs when he realises what he will have to do. "But I think I'd rather us be friends, I'm sorry."
Ouch.
You chuckle. "Again, there's nothing you have to apologise about. Thanks for letting me know."
With that you give a tiny little wave and head for the door.
"Wait, you're leaving?" He queries, not expecting you to just leave.
You smile at his question. "Although I'm like totally cool, I still need some time away to let it sink in that the guy I have been crushing on for months, just turned me down."
Hoseok feels bad when you put it like that but he knows you're right. "I get that, I'm sorry–"
"Stop apologising, will you?" You say in a light tone letting him know that there's nothing that he should be worried about and that you're definitely not upset about his rejection. When you notice that his expression has softened, you offer him one last smile before heading out.
When the warm air greets you outside, you feel a bit of melancholy. It's just your mind that wonders how beautiful it would have been had you got the opportunity to call Hoseok, yours. How lucky would you have been had you got to see the side of Hoseok that he reserves only for the special someone. How you could have easily fallen in love with him and would have cherished him.
But alas, you don't think that you'll get the chance to do any of the above.
You just hope whoever, gets to do those things with him, they cherish him and treat him right.
Namjoon:
Tumblr media
"I have feelings for you," you slurr, the evidence of alcohol heavily present in both your breath and words.
Namjoon, the person your words are directed at, completely freezes. He blinks a few times for you to say something like sike! gotcha but when you don't, he lets out a nervous chuckle. "You're drunk, you probably don't even know what you're saying."
"Just say that you don't feel the same. Don't try to educate me about whether I'm drunk or not," you whine in complaint. "I anyway saw you making out with that girl a few minutes ago."
Namjoon's expression changes when he realises that although you're saying this in your drunken state, you very well know what you're talking about. Were you really confessing to him? Right now? At your brother's birthday party?
"Hey, c'mon we can talk about this later." He says trying to keep his voice gentle so that he doesn't sound as panicked as he feels.
"No, I need you to say it to me." You reply, voice as firm as it can be in your drunk state. "I need you to say that you don't feel the same. That would help me get over you."
At the end of it, you end up looking like a child throwing tantrum with a pout and a sad yet annoyed frown on your face.
Any other time Namjoon would have cooed at the sight but right now he's too concerned about not making a scene and gain unnecessary attention.
His eyes do a quick scan of his surrounding and when he makes sure that so far the two of you have managed to not draw attention, his eyes drift back towards you and he speaks in a hurried, hushed tone. "I don't think this is the right time to talk about this. Especially not in a room full of people."
"You're deflecting from the topic," you huff and cross your arms. "There's nothing too difficult about rejecting my confession. Just say so and we will be done."
"Can we do this later–"
"No we can't," you cut him off and stomp your feet in anger. "You don't know how much it hurts everytime you treat me as just your best friend's little sister. I know you'd never see me like that but seeing you make out with someone else was a whole different level of hurt."
Namjoon's features soften when he notices that now your features have turned that into of heartbreak.
"I understand what you're trying to say," he says his eyes now on the floor. "But still, I think that this is a conversation that should be saved for later."
You get closer to him, your eyes visibly fuming with how he refuses to take your words seriously.
"You tell me that you don't feel the same, right to my face or I'm not moving an inch from here." You grit the words through your teeth.
Namjoon sighs and you're standing so close to him, that you feel his breath hit your face. "Is that what you want?"
"Yes," you reply without missing a beat with your eyes fixed on him, refusing to move an inch. It's your drunk mind's attempt at registering everything so that you don't forget it when you wake up tomorrow. You need to remember this so that you can put a stop to this one sided pining for once and for all.
"Well then, I don't feel the same." He whispers the words so slowly and so gently, that had it not been for your undivided attention, you'd have missed it.
But you don't.
The words have you flinching even though this is very much what you had asked for. You take a few steps back and nod at him, letting him know that you're satisfied with his answer.
You don't look up at him as you leave the hall and ultimately, the party. You think you hear a voice calling your name and you think it might just be Namjoon's but you don't turn around to confirm your suspicions.
Right now, your utmost priority is to reach your apartment and let things sink in.

Dear Namjoon| 23
Tumblr media
✧ Pairing: kim namjoon x reader ✧ warning(s): explicit language, suggestive content, mature content ✧ genre: angst, fluff, smut, slow burn ✧ synopsis; You're sent to live with your father and older brother. only that your older brother is in a band called BTS. you meet jimin's friends and automatically get tangled with one of his band members. you're relationship has to be kept a secret but for how long can you keep it that way?
prev | index | next
Jimin has been avoiding my calls, and only exchanges dull messages. I  stopped texting him completely my last message was me telling him that I'm waiting for him to want to talk to me.
Namjoon was also unreachable, it seemed as if everyone was too busy or bothered  to even acknowledge me. I were planning to visit this week but no one answered me in time to even plan the visit so it didn't happen. It was scary how the deadline namjoon had set to telling jimin was approaching and you weren't anywhere close to making up with him over this trivial matter.
but this time it wasn't you who postponed telling jimin, but rather namjoon. "it's fine, it's not like I visit very often these days" you nibble on your bottom lip as your boyfriend tells you that jimin still isn't doing great and with the next album approaching it just didn't seem like it was a good idea.
he was frustrated, with work and the backlash of what had happened had not quiet down at all. people are really good at reminding you of your worst moments. but everything he was saying was only adding to your reasons of ending this relationship with him. he was adding to the fire without knowing and the flames were getting to the point to where it will be impossible to tame.
"namjoon, I-"
"Give it to jungkook" namjoon yells to jin from across the hall as he was sneakily talking to you. "sorry babe, we're just so busy...what were you going to say?" you felt bitter.
"nothing, I have to go. let's talk later alright" you try to sound as cheerful as possible but it was in vain, his attention was somewhere else completely he didn't notice you weren't ok, or maybe your expectations are just to high.
"alright"
that's all he said before ending the call.
Namjoon was laying on the floor of the practice room, he could not sleep and decide to just practice since he should do good with any free time he had. he stared at his phone screen, his finger hovering over your photo. glancing at the corner of his screen 3:30am, he lets out a sigh turning off his screen.
You both haven't seen each other for a long time now, and he was feeling like a jerk about it.  He kept thinking about how you might've been right about ending it, but he didn't want that. He knew how much this relationship was stressing you and that you thought there were more cons than pros.....but he wanted you.
sitting up he stared at himself in the mirror before looking down at his phone again.
"fuck it" tapping on your photo the phone rings.
and it rings
and it rings
and it rings
"hello?" her soft voice making his beating heart calm down as he exhales.
"hey" he says slowly
"are you alright?" he hears shuffling in the other end and knows you were sleeping but his selfishness didn't let him feel bad for waking you up. "sorry I woke you up" he lets out a chuckle.
"no it's alright, I was just surprised you called"
"I know..I haven't been there for you a lot lately"
"it's fine, i understand"
laying back down on the floor he stares at the ceiling, so many thoughts flooded his mind and your silence didn't help him with keeping rational thoughts. he was starting to see what you meant, how this relationship right now could cause so much trouble and he thought he couldn't be as confident as he was before.
"can you just...what have you been up to" his voice shakes, but you were too tired to notice.
shutting his eyes he holds his phone up to his ear and hears you talk about the stuff you've been doing, he wanted you to tell him everything you had not been able to these past weeks but what he really just wanted was to hear your voice.
before he could respond to you he hears the door to the practice room open automattically he sitting up he faces the man who walked in.
"jimin" he says quietly, your voice freezing at his name
"what are you doing here" the younger member says, walking to him.
"practicing"
"i see you on the phone" jimin laughs
"yeah...it's y/n" namjoon says, eyes never leaving jimin. as if to read his reaction but jimin didn't do anything, he put down his bottle and stood in front of the mirror, looking at namjoon's reflection.
"this late?"
"yeah"
jimin stared for a moment then reached for the control on the floor and turned on the music. his body moving to the choreography they learned earlier as he ignores namjoon's stares. "are you planning to never make up with her" namjoon speaks up.
"that's none of your business" jimin continues to dance, jumping he lands on his left foot as he leans forward.
everyone was silent, he tried to concentrate on the phone against his ear as he tried to hear you but noticed that you weren't saying anything either.
"I'll just hang up now...it's late so" you're voice was small, his eyes never leaving jimin as he thought how much of a jerk he was for how he was treating you.
"alright, i'll call you later" he says into the phone before hanging up.
placing his phone in the bag that laid near him, he gets up and joins in on the choreography. it didn't last long before jimin who had the control in his pocket suddenly turns off the music.
"since when are you close with my sister?"
wiping his front, his eye brows creased at the hostility in his voice, "we became friends ever since you introduced her to us" trying to avoid eye contact he walk over to the bench that had a 24 of water bottles.
"yeah? just friends huh" he scoffs
"yeah, just friends"
"close enough to be calling this late?"
"she had called me yesterday and I didn't see until now, you know how busy I am after what happened"
"for what"
"to ask how her brother was doing" sitting on the bench he clenches the bottle in his hand as he talks to jimin, the real answer as to why he called you was at the tip of his tongue but he couldn't say it. the way jimin was treating you made him want to just tell him that you guys were dating.
"it's not her fault you know, and i'm not saying it's yours either but still. the way you're treating her isn't right" gathering his things, namjoon pats his shoulder as he makes his way out the practice room.
"I didn't get to talk to her like i wanted" he mumbles.
he was pacing in the dorm, his thumb nail between his teeth as he stared at the screen "jimin?" jungkook calls out his name
"whats wrong?"
"my sister" is all his says but those two words still made jungkook feel his heart beat race "what about her?"
"I've been acting like a dick and now I wanna call her but I don't even know what to say to her" he put his phone on the counter and takes a seat. jungkook stares at him before glancing at his phone "just call her, thats it"
"since when is namjoon close with her?" jimin looks at jungkook, after yesterday the whole conversation replayed in his head. "did you guys also get close?"
jungkook swallows before chuckling "your sister is a really friendly person. it's not like she isn't unlikeable"
"yeah but...i don't know..forget it" he laughs making jungkook feel even more uneasy.
a little over a month passed and the announcement was released for the next album. Namjoon and you talked more, since jimin had seen namjoon that night talk to you and he didn't say anything in the matter the two of you thought it would be fine.
but you wouldn't say that everything was better, jimin still had not contacted you and well the secret was still there. Namjoon said that it'll be better to not say anything until we talked again but i'm not sure I want that.
how can I tell him right after we make up, he'd stop talking to me all over again.
but it didn't matter how much time I thought I had, I should've known with this luck of mine that nothing would've gone my way.
entering the building you looked around trying to find someone you recognized but there was only one person in the lobby.
bitting your lip you take a deep breath as you head for the elevators... it was his birthday, of course he wouldn't kick you out...would he? walking down the hall as you exited the elevator you stood in front of the familiar door.
your hand hovered over the door bell as you hesitated to press and confront your brother.
"what are you doing" startled by the voice behind you, you turn quickly looking at a more mature jungkook. holding your breath you bit on your lip "i'm here to see my brother"
"then why not enter" his brow raises in question, stepping forward he leaves no space between the two of you as reaches next to you sliding up the cover to enter the code. you could smell his cologne from how close he was standing "he's in his room, exhausted from practice" he pulls the door open "even if he is your older brother, lecture him will you? he doesn't take care of himself as he should and if someone points it out he" frustrated just thinking about jimin's recent behavior he stares down at you "why aren't you entering"
"you're in my way" breaking eye contact he steps back and you enter the apartment "right" jungkook mutters behind you as he enters after you.
"he stares at his phone a lot, debating if to call you or not. honestly I didn't think he could drag it out this long but then again the work he does doesn't give him the luxury  to sit around and call people" setting down the bags on the counter he turns to look at you with arms crossed against his chest "you could've also called instead of following his stupid childish tantrums...you both really are siblings" he rolls his eyes.
"all you ever do is blame me for everything, brat"
"yeah well" shrugging he begins to unpack the bags. you glare at his back for a second before walking down the hall towards his room. turning back you call out to him "hey, who else is here"
"if you're asking for..him. he's not here, he's at the studio recording" you give him a small nod, turning the door knob, the dark room gets a bit of light from the hall.
closing the door you sneak up next to the bed, hearing his small snores you couldn't help but smile. the little light that manage to enter the room from the curtains let you see his face that just like jungkook's had changed significantly.
so much was running through your head, how'd you try to make up with him. tell him about namjoon, and hope he doesn't kick you out in the spot or fight namjoon. but seeing him sleeping made you also realize how petty he had been towards you. who cares if what jungkook said was true, he was still being a dick towards you.
so you did, the only thing you could've done as his sister.
pulling on the sheet slowly, you climb onto the bed. grabbing a good grip on him you push him with all your force off the bed his body slamming to the ground made him yell.
"what the fuck" jimin curses, groaning as he held his head.
sitting up he pulls at the curtain, the window not so far from his bed he lets light come in. "sleeping in this late? you're lazy" jimin who had been rubbing his eyes stops, and stares at you. "oh it's you" he mumbles as he lifts himself off the ground to sit on the bed next to you. "I'm not lazy, i've just been working hard"
"i've heard" you roll your eyes as he tries to lay back down, pushing you as he gets comfortable. not wanting him to ignore you or feel awkward because of the distance that was obvious between the both of you.
sighing you pull the covers up and lay next to him, the two of you are silent as you both stare at the ceiling. usually he would apologize first when ever there was a fight but he was silent and you thought he had fallen asleep.
turning to face him he slightly looks your way before clearing his throat "what"
"are those wrinkles" you jokingly touch the corner of his eye, swatting your hand away
"stop" he scowls
"you have to stop stressing brother, it's starting to show. mom has a good anti-aging cream maybe if I ask her she'll send a ba-" sitting up he chuckles "you really are so annoying you know that" you smile at him and shrug your shoulders as if you did not care.
"i'm sorry" you both say in unison
"no, you shouldn't need to apologize. it was me who took my anger out on you" scratching his head he sighed "you were just there and I blew. I didn't know how to..."
"I understand, I was being rather annoying too wasn't I" shaking his head, you both smiled at each other awkwardly.
"I should thank namjoon"
"namjoon? why?"
"just for checking on you and well reminding me- doesn't matter...but you both are just friends right?"
he shuts his eyes, leaning against the head board as he yawns clearly still tired. opening his eyes he looks at you and raised a brow.
"jimin-"
"yeah just friends" you felt your body jolt at the voice that came from behind you. turning around you see your boyfriend leaning against the door frame "as much as I'm happy you both finally reconciled the food is here and we're all hungry" walking into the room he stops beside the bed "and you know that if you're not fast enough there won't be any more food" placing his hand on your shoulder he smiles "how have you been?"
you chuckle at his acting and stand up to hug him "good, and you" jimin who didn't give the action much thought makes his way to the door "well lets go then" you watch as jimin walks out the room with the two of you close behind him. you kept giving namjoon glances, inside you were screaming so happy to finally see him.
leaning down he whispers into your ear discretely "i've missed you"

i’m somewhat glad namjoon brought up the whole icky comments last night, and i hope it sort of puts into perspective for people that the stuff they thought was cute or funny really isn’t because sometimes i sit there on live and i have to keep the comments off because i seriously can’t take it and hate to imagine how the members feel 🧍‍♀️
anyways using this as a mini hiatus announcement too until i’m done with this ot7 fic 🫂

BTS x Big Brother
A/N: Not expecting this to get a ton of traction, but I’ve been binging big brother us and I can’t stop thinking about what type of player each of the bts members would be.I know that is a niche cross section of fandom but I truly have that kpop and big brother brain rot at this point and want to talk about this. Thanks for reading and I'm more than happy to talk about either of these topics.
Jin: He would be the quiet guy that slides through for a while. I think he would be a bit out of his element but could get solid enough relationships to protect him for a bit. But I think he would get evicted about halfway through the season and be one of the first few jury members. He just wouldn’t want to make the big enough moves to justify keeping him in the game and eventually winning it.
Yoongi: He would be the one to lay super low the entire game. Throwing comps and floating between alliances and groups. Maybe having one really solid ally and no one else. I feel he would be someone that would be more successful in older BB seasons than the newer ones. Depending on who else is on his season/which BB season he’s on, he could win. I see him as a bit of a player like Jun from BB4. Stay low, don’t win too much, become a staple in the house because of his cooking for everyone, and make moves when needed.
Hoseok: He’s the super sociable one that everyone loves. His strategy is to get everyone to like him and to keep people laughing so that they’ll keep him around. He’s finally seen as a threat really late into the game and gets voted out very late. Think something similar to Enzo from BB12 and BB22. I truly don’t know how he would do in the comps. I feel the endurance competitions would be something that he could do amazing in because of his dance background but the others I feel are a bit of a toss up depending on who is in the house with him.
Namjoon: He is the brains of the season. He’s the one to start an alliance like the Brigade and make it very very far. I think he would be the most likely to win out of the entire group. He would be able to protect himself enough to get to the final two. On the flip side, I could also see him making too many moves too soon and getting voted out because of that. I feel that Namjoon gets in his head too much and that could really hurt his game. I think that would also hurt him from winning a lot of comps. Especially ones that include asking about other houseguests’ opinions. He would absolutely talk himself out of the right answer or be able to justify either one and then not knowing which to choose.
Jimin: He’s the full package. Most likely to form a showmance due to how much he flirts with everyone. He’s athletic enough to win the comps while sociable enough to form those essential friendships/alliances to keep him in. I think he would be a bit hesitant to stab anyone in the back or lie which would be his downfall. I can see him getting put up with his showmance because its a showmance and then being voted out because he’s seen as the bigger threat between the two. I think his sass could possibly cause waves depending on who else is in house with him. I can see people taking it personally if he says something sassy and then starts a fight with him. Although I see him as coming out as the good guy with the fight and the other person as in the wrong.
Taehyung: He’s a very sweet guy, but I think he would be the one out of the group to be willing to make the big moves and get blood on his hands. Not fully sure why I get that vibe but I do. He is one to not hide how he feels and could cause issues with other houseguests. Although I don’t think he would be one to purposefully start anything, but he would make faces that people would misconstrue and that would cause fights. His thought process is different enough that I could see him potentially winning because of that and absolutely becoming a huge game changer of the series. I think it would be hard to know how he was thinking at any point and that could make other people nervous. Which could make him a target.
Jungkook: He’s the comp beast. He’s a physical threat that people would be gunning for from the start but he would win comp after comp to keep himself around. I think he would also form really solid alliances early on with a few people and that would propel him for a bit. Although I do think he would have to be a late game blindside/backdoor due to how well he does at the competitions. If he made it to the end, he would win because it would be hard to argue against the sheer amount of wins he would have. I do think that if he stays past the first few weeks, he could form really strong bonds with some of the other guests. I can also see him latching onto the mom/dad of the season too. He’s also entertaining enough that it could help sway some votes away from him if need be. Similar to Frank from BB14 and BB18.
