"I found you."
Tumblr media
After decades of regret and longing, Adult timeline Zelda broke the Ocarina of Time against the Master Sword to open a fissure in time and space and sneak in-between realities.
She found who she was looking for and they are stuck between realities, suspended in time. Forever. Together.
----
Note: I got no credit for the shots. It's another shameless Final Fantasy VIII redraw, i still had last week's vibe. My post OoT/TP happen to legit have Time Compression sequence imagery and I couldnt resist.
I also needed a break from my comic. Cleaning it takes way more time than anticipating. It will be done when it will be done i guess.
Have a great day, fellow Angst fans!

Switched at Birth
Summary:
Two Baby Boys.
The first baby boy that went home to California with the Stilinskis was the apple of his parent's eyes.
The second baby boy that went home with Miranda and Harold Twombly was such a joy to his parents.
However, neither set of parents or the boys learned what had happened that fateful night until nearly two decades later.
AO3 Link
Two baby boys were born at one am on April the 8th, 1998. One was born to Claudia and Noah Stilinski and the other was born to Miranda and Harold Twombly. Unfortunately, Alekz and Elias, when placed in the arms of their respective mothers, had no way of knowing that at just hours old, their lives would forever be entwined all on account of a sleep deprived nurse and an overworked doctor.
The baby boy that went home to California with the Stilinskis was the apple of his parent's eyes. Claudia wanted to name her and Noah’s son, Shiloh and Noah understood why as Claudia had loved that movie since she first saw it. They settled on Shiloh for their son’s middle name and chose Elias after Noah’s father for his second first name. Thus their son was named Mieczysław Elias Shiloh Stilinski.
The baby boy that went home with Miranda and Harold Twombly received a much different name. He was named Alekzander Rhodes Twombly. Alekzander was chosen because it had been the name of his mother’s late brother and Rhodes was chosen because it had been the name of his father’s childhood best friend.
There had never been any reason to question whether or not their sons truly were theirs. It didn’t matter that unlike Miranda and Harold, Alekz bore little to no resemblance to them. His skin wasn’t as tan, his eyesight was terrible and his ADHD was a nuisance but the Twombly family hid it well. After all, he was their son. That was all that mattered.
He was sent to a private school from kindergarten until senior year of high school and he hated every moment of it. He refused to do sports, preferring to paint, write and participate in his school’s performing arts program. It definitely gave him an escape from the air of disappointment always suffocating him at hom—at the Twombly Estate.
Elias fared better if not by much. He never felt comfortable, always believing he was meant for more. His dad was a deputy, and his mother was a simple schoolteacher who took sporadic shifts at the hospital as a nurse until she fell ill with terminal cancer. Elias felt guilty at how little he cared but he was there when she died. After all, she was his mother. So, of course Elias grieved for her when she died.
Neither of the two boys knew the other existed and neither set of parents felt anything was amiss.
Alekz had both of his parents in some capacity his entire life. Once his ADHD settled down, they were the perfect trio. It lasted right up until he went to college. He got excellent grades, acing his studies due largely to the fact that his ADHD had been handled very early on. So, it didn’t affect his studies or his focus. He was thriving.
Elias, on the other hand, struggled in school after his mom died and if he hadn’t met Scott, who quickly became his best friend, he never would’ve been able to keep going. They joined lacrosse together their sophomore year of high school and became best friends with Aiden and Ethan. The four of them did so well they ended up joining the first string.
Alekz made fast friends at college with Isaac, Jackson and Brett. Oh and Brett? Well, the most beautiful guy that Alekz had ever seen was someone he had immediately started swooning over. He had known he was only into guys and he had believed his parents would be completely supportive of his sexuality. Alekz believed that to be true, until he brought Brett home for Thanksgiving, and with one look at their son, revealing their disgust, they instantly disowned him.
‿︵‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿
Brokenhearted and now without a home, Alekz didn’t know what to do. He packed his things and sought out his friends, softly asking for a place to sleep until he sorted things out. Of course Jackson, Isaac and Brett immediately came to his aid but it was Brett who was willing to let Alekz move in with him, without hesitation for as long as the amber eyed man needed. However, it took a lot of reassurance and convincing before Alekz agreed to do so. College was a lot harder after that, but in some ways it was also easier all because of Jacks, Izzy and of course because Brett.
With no parents Alekz felt like he was drifting, but then he officially met the Talbot Family. They took such a shine to him almost immediately. With their love, their acceptance and their help, Alekz finally felt whole again.
Elias ended up dating a lovely girl named Malia, from his grade. He didn’t really feel comfortable with the whole thing but he was worried, his father, the sheriff wouldn’t approve of him dating a guy.
However, after Thanksgiving when he returned from dropping Malia off at her house, his father told him he loved him no matter what. So Elias started dating Theo, a jock that had moved back to California after the death of his sister. Of course, that’s when things went majorly sideways.
‿︵‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿
When Alekz got confirmation that his book had been greenlit for publication, he was beyond excited, eager to tell his boyfriend and soon to be fiancé. When he got home however, Brett wasn't there.
So, he went looking for him and unsurprisingly found Brett at the library. What irked him though and sent his protective side into overdrive was that Brett had been cornered by some guy that Alekz didn’t know.
Alekz slid up to Brett’s side, said man relaxing at his touch kissed the anxious man’s cheek and fixed the strange guy with a glare. “Who the hell are you?”
Elias gave him a mocking smile. “Hello, Alekz . Care to give me my fucking life back?” he snarled with so much venom, Alekz felt sick.
“W-What?”
The other man—Elias—told Alekz everything in a caustic tone, taking pleasure in the way Alekz was breaking. Then Elias walked away, wearing a smug smile as he headed straight to his real parent’s home where he should’ve been from the time he was born. He didn’t care that he left Alekz in a state of shock and didn’t give a flying fig about his fucking baby ass tears.
‿︵‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿
Brett took care of travel arrangements and after a phone call to Sheriff Stilinski, the two boarded their flight, Stiles being unsurprised to see Isaac and Jackson a few rows behind them. He finally let some of the tension fade. He would be okay. Even if his dad wanted nothing to do with him, he still had his fiancé and his best friends.
‿︵‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿
“Hi, Mama,” Alekz whispered, staring at the cold slab of concrete.
Claudia Marie Stilinski
Born: May 11th, 1973
Died: February 17th, 2005
Alekz sniffled, fighting back tears as he stared with blurring vision. “Gosh I don’t know why I said—but you are. You are my mama and I never got to meet you. I’ve never met you and yet I miss you. I miss you so fucking much. I-I wonder if you got to hold me even once. I brought you a lily. My mo—I mean Miranda—never liked them but I’ve always found them beautiful. I guess now I know why.
“Sheriff—I mean d-dad said they are your favorite. Well, I mean he said they were your favorite once upon a time. I feel like I don’t have the right to cry but I’m so angry. I’m so hurt, Mama.
“Elias has his parents. They’re alive and you should have seen them. When I told them I was gay, they disowned me. They kicked me out and I was left with nothing but my boyfriend. He’s amazing but, when Elias came out to Miranda and Harold as gay, do you know what they did? They threw him a fucking party in their backyard and invited everyone to celebrate their perfect son.
“It still hurts sometimes but I’m healing with time. I’m lucky to have found love, Mama. You—Well, I like to think you would’ve loved him. His name is Brett. He saved me, Mama. Without him, well I wouldn’t be here now. We’re engaged too.” He blushed, a soft smile on his face that he always wore when thinking about his fiancé and future husband.
“Then there’s Jackson and Isaac whom I have as my best friends. We’re here visiting but it’s just me here to see you today. I think I’d like to come see you—to come talk to you—more.”
Alekz sat the lily down, kissed the tips of his fingers and brushed them against the top of the headstone. “I love you. I mean that with all my heart. Sheriff says I look like you.” He checked the time. “I’m meeting him for lunch and then Brett will be over for dinner. I’ll come back tomorrow, Mama.”
He stood up and turned to leave before glancing back. “Until another sun and moon, Mama.” He said it in a whisper before hurrying to the jeep that Elias couldn’t stand—which was stupid and Alekz thought it was beautiful, making sure to treasure the connection to his mama—and driving home. Yes. Alekz smiled to himself. He was headed home. Home.
‿︵‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿
After learning that his name was supposed to be Mieczysław but that was instead given to Elias, Alekz adapted what would have been given name to Miezsko as a way to honor his mother. Now he went by Miezsko Elias Shiloh Gajos Stilinski-Talbot.
To some it might have seemed like overkill but Miezsko didn’t care. This way he would be able to honor everyone who was important to him.
Miezsko was for his mother’s grandfather.
Elias was for his father’s father.
Shiloh was for his mother’s favorite movie.
Gajos was for his mother.
Stilinski was for his father.
Talbot? Well, Talbot was for his fiancé, soon to be husband in less than a month. Alekz used to feel like he didn’t fit, that he was a circle trying to fit into a box but now, he finally fit. He had his dad, his best friends, his mama’s memorial garden and the love of his life. He was happy now and Elias never once crossed his mind again.
Miezsko didn’t wish for him to suffer any but when he heard about a series of bank heists in New York and saw the mugshot of the ones responsible—Elias Twombly and Theo Raeken—he couldn’t help but feel satisfied. Though their circumstances had been nearly identical in many ways, they were complete opposites. Fate had been cruel to them but now, Miezsko believed everything was as it should be and after getting the money back that Theo and Elias had stolen from Stiles’s father, everything was perfect.
The day he married Brett was the happiest day of his life and for the first time in his life, Miezsko couldn’t wait to see what was in store. Switched at Birth became a worldwide bestseller and life went on as it always would, but this time nothing was out of place, everything fit together perfectly. The Sheriff remarried and a few years later became a grandfather. Life was good. What more could Miezsko ask for than a loving family, a loving stepmother, two amazing best friends, his father, his children and the one who got him through it all..his husband and forever love Brett Andrew Stilinski-Talbot?

GHOST STORIES AND HISTORY -- WHAT COULD BE BETTER?
Here's a ghost story about Oklahoma's (Indian Territory's) Fort Gibson.
The fort guarded the American frontier in Indian Territory from 1824 until 1890. When constructed, the fort lay farther west than any other military post in the United States; it formed part of the north–south chain of forts intended to maintain peace on the frontier of the American West and to protect the southwestern border of the Louisiana Purchase.
As the sun came up on a bitterly cold morning in January 1870, a sentry patrolling the grounds around Fort Gibson in the Indian Territory discovered the body of one of the fort's troopers, young private Thomas, lying dead across a grave in the cemetery neat the fort. The body was taken to the fort's infirmary and as the doctor tried to discover the cause of death, an unusual discovery was made.... Private Thomas, who had enlisted only a few weeks before, was a woman.
As the doctor and the fort's commanding officer pondered just how she had managed to pass herself off as a man and get into the Army, the old priest at the fort came forward with one of the strangest stories in American military history. Thomas had given her secret to the old priest just a few days before her death. The priest's story was the beginning of the legend of Vivia, which has been told by the people of eastern Oklahoma ever since.
Vivia Thomas was the daughter of a wealthy family from Boston. She had been educated at the finest schools and attended the finest affairs of Boston society. It was during one of these elegant parties following the Civil War that Vivia met and fell in love with a handsome Army officer.
After several months of courtship, their engagement and wedding plans were announced, but then suddenly, shortly before their wedding day, the young officer disappeared. He left Vivia an apologetic note and explained that he was going out west in search of adventure.
Brokenhearted and seeking revenge for the embarrassment that the young man had caused her, Vivia left home in search of the man who had betrayed her. When she learned that he had been stationed at Fort Gibson, in the Indian Territory, her journey began. The trip was extremely difficult but the fury in her heart pushed her onward.
During the several months of her journey, Vivia cut off all of her long, flowing hair and started dressing in men's clothing. At first, her motive had simply been to disguise herself for protection while traveling through rough country, but the disguise proved so successful that she decided to use it to get close to the young officer by enlisting in the Army at Fort Gibson.
In the months that followed, she somehow avoided detection and she carefully stayed away from her former lover, watching him closely and wondering how she would go about exacting her revenge upon him. The young officer had taken up with an Indian woman who lived a short distance from the fort and he visited her each evening. Vivia followed him through the darkness on may occasions, each time growing more bitter.
On a cold winter evening in late December of 1869, Vivia followed the officer on his trip. She waited for him behind and outcropping of stone and when he rode by on his horse, she shot him with her rifle, hitting him in the chest and knocking him off of his horse. She left him there on the ground and the next morning, his body was discovered by a passerby and brought to the fort. The soldiers at the fort assumed that he had been killed by Indians.
At first, Vivia was happy that her quest for revenge had been satisfied, but then after a few days, she realized what she had done and became deeply grieved. She began leaving her quarters every night and going to the young man's grave, where she wept uncontrollably and would pray for hours for forgiveness.
Then, one night, she froze to death on the grave and she was found the next morning. But has she found peace? Many believe that she has not and it is said that her spirit still haunts the national cemetery which is located near the fort. People claim to have seen an apparition of a young soldier there, pacing about and weeping loudly. Could it be that of Vivia Thomas?
Regardless, the story of this young woman touched the commanding officers at the fort. In the national cemetery stands a large circle called the Circle of Honor, which was set aside for soldiers who had distinguished themselves in service. Among the graves here is one stone that seems out of place. It simply reads "Vivia Thomas, January 7, 1870".
Fort Gibson is located just outside of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma in the eastern part of the state. It is a few miles northeast of Muskogee.

Thursday: Preparation for the Twenty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time
Complementary Hebrew Scripture from the Former Prophets: Joshua 22:1-9
Then Joshua summoned the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and said to them, “You have observed all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and have obeyed me in all that I have commanded you; you have not forsaken your kindred these many days, down to this day, but have been careful to keep the charge of the Lord your God. And now the Lord your God has given rest to your kindred, as he promised them; therefore turn and go to your tents in the land where your possession lies, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side of the Jordan. Take good care to observe the commandment and instruction that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, and to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.
Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given a possession in Bashan; but to the other half Joshua had given a possession beside their fellow Israelites in the land west of the Jordan. And when Joshua sent them away to their tents and blessed them, he said to them, “Go back to your tents with much wealth, and with very much livestock, with silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and with a great quantity of clothing; divide the spoil of your enemies with your kindred.” So the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned home, parting from the Israelites at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, their own land of which they had taken possession by command of the Lord through Moses.
Semi-continuous Hebrew Scripture Lesson from the Former Prophets: 1 Kings 4:20-28
Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand by the sea; they ate and drank and were happy. Solomon was sovereign over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, even to the border of Egypt; they brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.
Solomon's provision for one day was thirty cors of choice flour, and sixty cors of meal, ten fat oxen, and twenty pasture-fed cattle, one hundred sheep, besides deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fatted fowl. For he had dominion over all the region west of the Euphrates from Tiphsah to Gaza, over all the kings west of the Euphrates; and he had peace on all sides. During Solomon's lifetime Judah and Israel lived in safety, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all of them under their vines and fig trees. Solomon also had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen. Those officials supplied provisions for King Solomon and for all who came to King Solomon's table, each one in his month; they let nothing be lacking. They also brought to the required place barley and straw for the horses and swift steeds, each according to his charge.
Complementary Psalm 34:15-22
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,  and his ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against evildoers,  to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears,  and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted,  and saves the crushed in spirit.¹
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,  but the Lord rescues them from them all. He keeps all their bones;  not one of them will be broken.² Evil brings death to the wicked,  and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. The Lord redeems the life of his servants;  none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
¹This stanza is quoted in 1 Peter 3:10-12 ²This verse is quoted in John's account of the crucifixion (John 19:36)
Semi-continuous Psalm 84
How lovely is your dwelling place,  O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, indeed it faints  for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh sing for joy  to the living God.
Even the sparrow finds a home,  and the swallow a nest for herself,  where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts,  my King and my God. Happy are those who live in your house,  ever singing your praise. Selah
Happy are those whose strength is in you,  in whose heart are the highways to Zion. As they go through the valley of Baca  they make it a place of springs;  the early rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength;  the God of gods will be seen in Zion.
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer;  give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah Behold our shield, O God;  look on the face of your anointed.
For a day in your courts is better  than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God  than live in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield;  he bestows favor and honor. No good thing does the Lord withhold from  those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts,  happy is everyone who trusts in you.
New Testament Lesson: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers and sisters, you do not need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. When they say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them, as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape! But you, beloved, are not in darkness, for that day to surprise you like a thief; for you are all children of light and children of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness. So then let us not fall asleep as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober; for those who sleep sleep at night, and those who are drunk get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, and put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has destined us not for wrath but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep we may live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.
