Congrats on making it to 3k followers and for making the grand debut of your new blog mascot~ I look forward to seeing your future works, as well as all of the (inevitable) Vil brain rot once your EBG (Extreme Bias Game) is over!

Imagine this...

“Unacceptable.”

“Eh?”

“Your skin,” Vil clarified. “It is simply unacceptable. You don’t truly intend on marching to the opening ceremony looking like that, do you?”

“My...skin?” Your hands subconsciously trailed to your cheeks. “What’s wrong with--”

He cut you off, his pupils dilating in absolute horror. “No...!! Don’t touch your face! Your hands are breeding grounds for all manner of nasty bacteria!”

Your hand jolted away at Vil’s remark. He sighed in relief--but the repose is short-lived.

“You haven’t even properly buffed out the sunscreen along your hairline. See to it that you wash your hands and blend it in. Now.”

“Ah, I must have gotten some grated parmesan on me while I was making my mac ‘n cheese for lunch,” you explained, your expression sheepish. “I only put sunscreen on when I work out, Vil-senpai.”

“Excuse me?!” He brought a finger to his chin and frowned. “I don’t know whether I should be more appalled at the fact that you somehow got cheese in your hair or at the fact that you scarcely wear sun protection...What, if I may ask, does your typical skincare routine look like?”

“I splash water on my face once in the morning and once at night. And I already told you about the sunscreen when I exercise.”

“...That is all?”

“Yup.”

Vil cradled his head in his hands.

“...Sit.”

“Huh? Oh, sure.” You seated yourself on a sofa and glanced up at your senpai. “But won’t we be late for the ceremony if we wait around for too long?”

“It will only take a few minutes,” Vil insisted with a dismissive wave. “I will be right back.”

The Pomefiore dorm leader swept out of the room, his dark sleeves billowing out behind him. The intricate golden designs on his robes seem to twinkle and dance under the lights.

He soon reappeared with a tray--upon it, a few towels, several small bowls of water, and an assortment of containers. Vil sat down beside you, placing the tray on a low coffee table.

“We can’t have you going out looking a mess,” he declared, “so I shall be giving you a quick facial.”

“Whoa, really? Thank you so much for this, senpai.”

“Don’t thank me yet. The magic has yet to start.”

He took a pump of soap, working it into a rich lather, then dipped his hands into a bowl of water and patted dry with a towel. Vil dispensed a viscous substance from another bottle and swiped it on your face--from your chin to your forehead, massaging in circles.

“What’s this slick stuff? Moisturizer?”

“It’s an oil-based cleanser,” Vil corrected, “Listen well, potato. There are three essential steps to every skincare routine--the first is cleansing.”

“But I’ve already washed my face today.”

“We need to break down your sunscreen first before we apply more product,” Vil chided, wetting his hands again before running them across your cheeks. “Next is a water-based cleanser.”

He popped open a tube and squeezed out a coin-sized amount. Rubbing his hands together produced fine suds.

“You’re washing my face again?” you asked, giggling while Vil worked the product onto your face. The lather tickled a bit—and it smelled like a field full of raspberries, bright and bursting with sunshine.

“Skin has both fat and water. Therefore, you should wash once with an oil to bind to oils, and water to bind to water—this will give you a thorough cleanse.”

Vil’s words were stern, but his touch remained gentle. Even as he chastised you, you could not help but indulge in the moment, melting in his voice—rich and velvety and decadent.

Hehe...like mac ‘n cheese...

You could feel a trickle of drool forming in the corner of your mouth.

“...45 to 60 seconds washing with each cleanser,” Vil recited in a murmur. “Upward and outward circular motions to promote lymphatic drainage, and to keep the skin from sagging. Be sure to exfoliate at least once a week...Are you listening to a word of what I’m saying, potato?”

“Huh? Uh...yeah, yeah, I’m listening.”

“Hmmm.”

“I-I swear I am!”

“Pop quiz, then. How many steps are there in a basic skincare routine?”

“Three! Four if you count washing twice!”

Vil cracked a small smile. “Excellent. I expected nothing less from you.”

He moistened his hands again and removed the bubbles on your face . Then Vil patted you down with a towel, leaving your skin just a bit damp.

“The next step is moisturizer. Normally, I would have you apply a toner, essence, and serum first, but we do not have the time for that.”

Vil unscrewed the cap on a tall, frosted glass bottle. The contents were pure white, sloshing around like melted snow

“Isn’t moisturizer usually like...lotions and stuff? That doesn’t look like a lotion to me.”

“This is a 2-in-1 toner and moisturizer. Cream skin,” he explained, carefully pressing the product onto cheeks and forehead.

Ah.

His fingers. They were so plush, so soft through the thin slip of the product—like clouds brushing against your face, planting dew drop kisses.

Your eyes drifted shut for a few moments, relishing in the feel of him.

“And, last but not least, sunscreen. You must always wear sun protection, even in winter and on cloudy days. UV rays can wreak havoc on your skin.”

“Y-Yes!”

Vil sighed, squeezing a generous heap of white goop into his palms. “If you understand, then you must promise me that you will take better care of yourself in the future.”

“I promise...”

“Good.”

His hands ran across your face, tracing every contour and curvature until each spot was slathered with sunscreen. Vil was the artist, and you were his canvas to be molded into a work of art.

A sweep here, a dab there, and...

Done.

Vil held your face, cupped within his hands, and gazed upon his work. His lips pulled into mirthful smirk—and his eyes glittered like amethysts embedded with stars.

He was so close--yet you cannot make out even a single pore or imperfection on his milky face. Your heart hammered from his intense gaze, and how his pink lips--today, the color of raspberries--were parted just so. How soft they must be, if he takes such good care of his skin.

“D-Do I look better now?” you asked nervously.

“See for yourself.”

Vil passed over a handheld mirror.

In the glass, a familiar, yet unfamiliar, face stared back at you. Your reflection bore a plump complexation—all rosy cheeks and supple skin. No white cast, no oily sheen, no flaky patches, no rough texture.

It almost doesn’t seem like yourself.

“Well?” Vil inquired, his arms folded.

“It’s me, but like...way better. It’s like you cast a spell or something.”

You cautiously poked your cheek. It conformed, then bounced back.

“No touching!” Vil hissed, yanking your wrist back with a frown.

“Whoops...ehehe, sorry. I forgot.”

“Honestly,” he groaned, reaching out and grasping your other wrist, “if you are going to disregard my advice so blatantly...”

Vil flashed his pearly whites in a sly smile. “ ...then perhaps I should keep a firm grip on these traitorous hands of yours until further notice.”

He lifted the back of your hand to his mouth and planted a kiss. His lips were every bit as tender and smooth as you had imagined them to be.

A single thought emerged from the back of your mind: just what would those lip of his taste like, set upon your own?

You reddened.

“That color is most becoming on you, potato,” Vil chuckled, pulling back. His grip on your hand remained firm, yet somehow also delicate--as though handling a precious gem.

“Come. We cannot afford to dawdle any longer. The ceremony awaits us.”

Hand in hand, you venture out into the world--

--putting you best face forward.

summary: it’s been a while since you arrived at devildom and made yourself feel at home, but asmodeus still can’t figure out why you always looks really tired. a late night visit gives him the opportunity to solve the mystery once and for all.

Asmodeus sat in front of his giant boudoir and let out a long sigh. He stretched his arms to the ceiling, feeling tension release with a few cracking sounds from his back. He grabbed one of his makeup remover tissues and started softly wiping the makeup off his face. His mascara faded a little under his eyes as he did so, making it appear like he had bags under his eyes.

He couldn’t help but think about you.

At first, he had thought they were hereditary. Your eye bags were the first thing he noticed about your face. Your face structure was beautiful and your eyes gleamed whenever you laughed, yet the thing that first struck him was how tired you looked. His hypothesis of it being hereditary crumbled down when he noticed you falling asleep during classes, almost matching Belphie in how many times Lucifer had had to loudly clear his throat to make you wake up with a youepish smile.

Once his face was clear of makeup, Asmodeus threw the tissue away. He grabbed his bottle of tonic and put some on a cotton pad, softly patting his skin. Knowing you were into the same videogames Levi was, he figured you may have been spending too much time after hours playing them.

His second theory was disproved when weeks later, after sharing a table with the third oldest and you, he overheard Levi complaining about how you didn’t have time for him anymore and warned you you would lose your ranking in the game if you kept missing your daily missions. You excused herself and blamed it on the amount of French homework you had. Asmodeus stayed silent, even if you were taking the same class he was and he knew for a fact there hadn’t been any homework for weeks. He still wasn’t as close to you as he was now, so he decided to indulge you a little and keep your dirty little secret.

That was how his curiosity started. Even if he wouldn’t tell anybody, he had to know what were you hiding. What was that you desired that was enough for you to lose sleep.

Asmodeus set the toner aside and grabbed his vitamin C serum. He poured a few drops on his palm, rubbing his fingers together before applying it to his skin.

He started to spend more time with you in order to discover what was going on. Even if that was his plan from the start, he ended up befriending you and enjoying the times they got to be together. Not realizing he was actually following you, you had started feeling more at ease with him, and shared stories about your life back on Earth. You had apparently been a very diligent person and were in charge of a lot of activities in the different groups you were a part of. One day, while having some ice cream after a long day of class, you confessed to him you had two younger siblings, a pair of twins that were four years old and the apple of your eyes. It suddenly made sense how motherly you were to the demon twins, always making sure there was enough food for Beelzebub and sharing your lap when Belphie was sleepy and wanted to take a nap while you were reading in the living room. He learnt you were very mature, always providing Satan with advice to manage his temper and had even shared conversations with Lucifer, helping him with time management.

Asmodeus days with you were filled with laughter, tea, ice cream and, of course, your tired eyes that remained a mystery. He took his eye cream and started applying it, pursing his lips in frustration as he hadn’t found out the reason behind your tiredness. He was about to open his moisturizer cream when he heard soft knocks on his door. He walked to the door and opened it to reveal you wearing your pajamas with a shy smile on your face.

“Hey Asmo,” you greeted. He smiled back at you.

“Hey beautiful, what’s up?”

“Uh, I remembered you mentioned you had lavender candles? I was wondering if you could lend me one,” you said, putting your arms on your back and softly swaying your body.

“Sure, sure,” Asmo said, letting you inside his bedroom as he walked to the shelf filled with different candles. “I never knew you were into candles as well”

“Oh, I heard they were relaxing so I wanted to try it out,” you shrugged, sitting on the edge on Asmo’s bed. You bounced a little, giggling at how soft it was.

“Having trouble falling asleep?” he asked, trying to sound as casual as he could. His eyes were still occupied looking for that candle, so even though he missed your expression, the silence after his question let him know you were preparing a lie.

“A little? It’s okay, though, I just promised Mammon I would try and jog with him tomorrow so I wanted to be able to rest before that,” you said, a soft chuckle escaping your lips. “It’s okay if you don’t have the candle, though, just thought it would be nice.”

Asmodeus finally found the lavender candle and turned on his heel. He walked to the bed and sat beside you, holding the item in his hands.

“Are you sure?” he asked, cocking his head to the side.

“Yeah,” you smiled, your eyes not meeting him.

“You know I can sense when people really want something, right?” he asked in a teasing tone. “I feel you really desire something right now. And my gut tells me it’s not my lavender candle.”

Asmodeus noticed you tensing up for a couple of seconds before letting go with a long sigh. You passed your hand through your hair and finally looked back at him, your smile no longer bright but rather sad, as if you had finally been found out after doing a prank.

“I haven’t been sleeping well recently, to be honest,” you admitted. “I’ve tried almost everything and nothing seems to work. Seems nothing can replace it-- I mean,” you quickly corrected yourself, your face burning. “Nothing can help me with it. The falling asleep part,” you clarified, your eyes again on the floor.

“I heard you!” Asmodeus teased you, scooting closer. “C’mon, I won’t judge you. You know me,” he said, a friendly smile on his face. You turned your head at him and sighed once more.

“I… I always slept with a teddy bear a friend won for me at a fair. And… when I came here I realized it was really pivotal in helping me sleep,” you said, your words too fast and low, but good enough for Asmodeus to listen. “But I’m okay! It’s just my head messing up with me. It may be the bed, I can ask Lucifer if I can somehow change the mattress and--”

“I know what could help,” Asmodeus interrupted you, a knowing grin on his face. He quickly got up the bed and walked back to his boudoir, taking his softest brush and then kneeling on his bed behind you.

With care, he passed the brush across your hair, earning a pleased sigh from your lips. Contently, he did it again, taking his time to detangle your hair as soft as he could. His brush made your hair shine and turn soft in a matter of minutes, but he kept brushing it for quite longer. You were quiet, and he noticed how you were nodding off at his ministrations, too focused on relaxing under his touch. He then let the brush on the bed and started massaging your scalp with his fingertips, loving the way your head seemed to lean into his hand, your shoulders way more relaxed than they were when you first got into his bedroom.

“This is so relaxing,” you mumbled in a haze. Asmodeus smiled behind you, feeling accomplished.

“And I’m not done yet,” he announced with a giggle. He put the brush back in his place and then took his items from his nightly skincare routine. Sitting next to you again, he grabbed a cotton pad and poured some of his cleanser. Even if you weren’t wearing any makeup, he wanted to make sure your skin was as fresh as possible. You chuckled as he took his time taking care of your skin, letting him use all the creams and oils he had brought to the bed. You weren’t sure what most of them were for, but you did notice the difference when he was finally done. Your skin felt clean and so soft you kept running your fingers across your cheek to feel it.

As a response, Asmodeus took your hand and started massaging it with some moisturizer.

“Don’t touch your skin so much or you’ll get it oily again,” he teased, massaging the pulse point between your index and thumb. You hadn’t noticed your hands had been to tense before.

“You are the best, Asmo,” you breathed out with a content smile. He winked at you, earning a chuckle.

It was almost half an hour later when Asmodeus finished pampering you with his different creams. For the first time since you had arrived at Devildom, your eyes were getting tired with every minute that went by. You finally let out a yawn and stretched your arms in front of your chest.

“Thank you, this was what I needed. I feel so relaxed I don’t want to walk back to my room,” you pouted. Asmodeus was putting back everything to its place when he listened to you, and an idea struck his mind.

“You can stay here. This isn’t a queen size bed for nothing,” he offered. You looked back at him and he loved the way your cheeks were noticeable red. Even if what you were thinking wasn’t an idea he would be opposed to, he wanted you to know it wasn’t his goal for the night.

“What? Really?”

“Definitely. C’mon, it’ll be like a sleepover,” he said. You stayed in silence for a moment, considering your options, the demon staring back at you with a small smile.

“Okay, I’ll stay tonight,” you accepted. Grinning, Asmodeus turned off the lights. His night lamp was on, giving his room a cosy ambience.

Both of you got under the sheets, a small distance between you. You sighed happily against Asmodeus’ soft pillow.

“Thank you for not laughing at me,” you whispered, your eyes closed.

“I would never,” he replied, turning to face you. “If you need to snuggle anything, I smell good and love late night cuddling,” he added, your eyes opening wide immediately.

“Don’t make fun of me!” you pouted, covering your face with your hands.

“I’m not!” he assured you. “I mean it. We both smell like fancy cream and our skin is as soft as it can be. If you were used to hugging your teddy bear back home, I have nothing against you snuggling up to me. It would definitely help me sleep better too,” he said. You peaked between your fingers and saw Asmodeus’ honest smile. You took a deep breath and uncovered your face. Looking at his eyes, you nodded and got closer to him.

What started as a shy hand on top of his chest turned into a full-body hug once you fell asleep. He knew you needed your rest but was still surprised it had happened so fast. You must have been really tired. With his free hand, he put a rebel strand of hair away from your face, not wanting anything to disturb your sleep.

You were strikingly beautiful. He had always thought you were, but somehow seeing you in your most vulnerable state, your arms and legs wrapped around his body made him see you in a tender light he hadn’t noticed before.

Asmodeus grazed his lips against your forehead and whispered an almost inaudible good night wish. The smile you had painted on his face lasted until the very last second before he fell asleep as well.

fhjfkdsf okay, im gonna put read more since its pretty long

so i have.. combination skin and i never know when my skin is going to be dry or oily? so ive been trying different products out so my current routine is this:

first things first, i remove all of my makeup, preferably cleansing oil (i used the face shop rice water bright cleansing oil [x] but i used that up so i used garnier micellar water [x] which works well but cleansing oil helps break down makeup better imo. then i go to the tap, wash my face with lukewarm water, then i use a homemade exfoliator (sugar, honey and olive oil, a lot of people say you shouldnt use abrasive things on ur face but🤷🏻‍♀️ this is my routine n it makes my skin feel great so) then the innisfree blueberry rebalancing 5.5 cleanser [x] along with a electric facial brush [x] (i got mine from vanity planet, its p cheap compared to clinique and other high end brands, it does its job) n just work cleanse w it lmao.

i wash all the cleansing foam off n pat my damn skin dry. after i use a mask, and Everyone has talked about this but this shit damn works okay!!! i use indian healing clay [x] w water (i havent tried the apple cider vinegar But ive heard thats more affective than w just water) and just smother that on my skin n wait 20 mins for the mask to do its Thing, after thats done i was it off and pat my skin (dont wipe ur skin harshly pls), i use cosrx aha/bha clarifying toner [x] with a cotton pad and place it on my skin for abt 2-3 mins, take it off then spritz my face with the Holy Grail, rosewater [x] and not the mario badescu stuff, just rosewater. leave that to soak up and IF my skin is super dry, i apply rosehip oil [x] with my moisturiser, if dry skin isnt the problem then i just use my nivea moisturiser (i sometimes use a sleeping pack to combat dry skin, AND if i have a pimple i go ahead and use mario badescu drying lotion [x] )

theres my routine, also bear in mind that this works for me, and it may not work for u! lil reminders

dont touch ur face during the day unless ur hands are clean

uh try make sure ur hair doesnt come in contact w ur face?? (this happens to me anyways but idk, the oils from ur hair blocking ur skin pores idk🤷🏻‍♀️)

DRINK UR DAMN WATER, but only drink the amount needed, dont overdo it!!

try?? cut down on bad food? ( i say this but i eat shit all the damn time)

DONT wash ur face all the time, i only wash my face with lukewarm water in the morning and apply day time moisturiser, Thats it

In today’s post you’ll find my June favourite and not so favourite skincare and makeup products. Keep reading if you wish to see my picks.

Skincare favourites

Face products

Heimish All Clean Balm 120 ml (18 USD)

Before this one I used Banila Co Clean it Zero cleansing balm and had good results when it came to removing makeup. But this one I like even more. It’s very gentle, yet so effective in removing stubborn makeup and impurities from my skin. It also doesn’t bother my eyes. I find that the herbal scent is a bit strong, but due to it’s effectiveness, I can easily get passed it. Some beneficial ingredients are Shea butter, coconut extract, citrus herb oil and donkey milk.

Heimish All Clean White Clay Foam (12 USD)

Perfect everyday cleansing foam. I love that it has a nice dense foam. Even my husband said it’s his favourite foam cleanser so far. It contains Amazonian white clay to deeply cleanse pores, but it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight. Other notable ingredients are hyaluronic acid, coconut oil and herbal oils. The scent is herbal, but not overpowering.

Su:m37 Skin Saver Essential Cleansing Foam (30 USD)

I got this as a sample product when I bought Su:m37 Secret Essence. It’s a foam type cleanser that I like to use in the morning because it’s very gentle and leaves my face clean and moisturised. Only a small amount of product is needed to create a nice foam.

Son & Park Beauty Water 340 ml (30 USD)

I’ve had this product for a few months now and started using it again more frequently, which reminded me how great it is. Beauty Water is a multi-tasking toner and cleansing water. It can be used in the morning as a toner to prep your skin, midday to refresh your skin and in the evening to remove all remaining impurities after you double-cleanse. It’s also a mild exfoliator (willow bark and papaya extract) and has a pH of 4.5 to reset your skin to its natural balance. It leaves my face feeling fresh, clean, bright, hydrated and also preps my skin beautifully for makeup application. One of my favourite toners so far.

Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine 200 ml (27 USD)

If I could sing praises to this one, I would. It’s a physical and chemical exfoliator in one, making it easy and quick to use – where have you been all my life? It provides gentle yet effective exfoliation of dead skin cells and impurities, leaving my skin smooth and clear. It contains 30 single use pads that are soaked in an essence. The mechanical exfoliator is basically criss-crossed gauze side of the pads and the chemical one is lactic and glycolic acid. I use these once or twice a week to keep my skin brighter and softer.

Blithe Pressed Serum – Crystal Iceplant 50 ml (55 USD) –

This is my go-to serum and moisturiser two-in-one now that the weather is getting hot. It has a lightweight gel cream texture and absorbs instantly into my skin leaving it moisturised and shine-free, never feeling heavy. It also has a cooling effect on the skin. It’s infused with 63% Iceplant extract for long lasting hydration. I love that it comes with a spatula making the use hygienic. Being a two-in-one product, it also makes my skincare routine a lot faster.

OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum

One of my favourite treatments is vitamin C serum. Why? It brightens up my skin, helps with healing and fading my pimple scars, works as an exfoliator and has anti-ageing properties. This product claims to have 20% of Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and that is pretty great since it means it’s more effective. The only problem is the vitamin C is not stable – it’s extremely sensitive to light and oxygen and oxidises pretty fast. I store it in refrigerator to keep it fresh. I use it few times a week in the serum part of my evening skincare routine. Two things I don’t like about this product – smells like metal and my face feels sticky after the application. But considering the benefits it provides, I love it.

Neogen Day-Light Sun Protection Sun Screen 50 ml (30 USD)

Great lightweight sun screen with SPF 50 PA +++. It absorbs quickly, never feels greasy, doesn’t leave white cast and layers well with makeup – what else could you ask from a sun screen?

Body products

Scrub Love Coconut and Cranberry Body Scrub (17 USD)

I love some body scrub from time to time. Makes my skin smooth as a baby’s bottom. This scrub I got in Look Fantastic Beauty Box and it’s one of the best body scrubs I’ve tried in a while. It contains coconut shell and coconut flakes to slough away dead skin cells. It’s also infused with cranberry seed oil to moisturise and rejuvenate your skin. And the big plus – all of the ingredients are natural.

Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Nourishing Body Oil 115 ml (14 USD)

I’ve started using this body oil (and belly butter) in my third month of pregnancy. I’m 8 months pregnant now and so far so good – no stretch marks yet. Body oil is infused with sweet almond and lemon oils and Vitamin E which help keeping my skin hydrated and nourished. I use it in the evening after my shower. The scent is citrusy and light – very relaxing.

Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter (20 USD)

Same as with the body oil, so far so good. I like that it doesn’t feel heavy and sinks into my skin fast. It contains a combination of Cocoa, Shea and Jojoba butters to keep my belly soft. I apply it in the morning for all-day hydration and protection.

Rituals Miracle Scrub Hand Scrub (15.50 USD)

Ultra softening hand scrub enriched with nourishing oils. Have been loving this product for such a long time. It gives my hands amazing softness and protection.

Hair products

Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray 150 ml (24 USD)

I’m already on my second bottle of this volume-building spray. It has a lightweight texture, never feels sticky or heavy. I spray it on the roots of my hair while it is still damp. After I blow-dry, my hair has a nice volume.

L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Huile Originale (32 USD)

This product was also a part of Look Fantastic Beauty Box and one of the best hair oils I’ve tried so far. I like to apply it before I blow-dry my hair to protect it from the heat. Afterwards my hair is silky smooth but without feeling heavy. It contains highly concentrated Argan oil for nourishment and protection.

Avon Advance Techniques Supreme Oils Treatment Mask (7 USD)

Wonderful nourishing treatment mask that combines 5 oils – Macadamia Oil, Almond Oil, Camelia Seed Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Marula Oil. You are supposed to apply it to the wet hair, leave it for a minute and rinse it off. Afterwards my hair feels like silk. I absolutely love that it’s fuss free and it takes only a minute to work wonders on my hair.

Makeup favourites

Becca Sunlit Bronzer Capri Coast (38 USD)

One of the new Becca products. This bronzer is very finely milled and gives my skin beautiful sun-kissed glow. The packaging is also beautiful.

OFRA Everglow (35 USD)

This highlighter is the newest addition to OFRA highlighters collection and a collaboration with talented beauty blogger and vlogger NikkieTutorials. It has three summer ready shades in one compact – frosty white, champagne and copper. I use the champagne shade as a highlighter, copper as an eyeshadow and white to highlight the inner corners of my eyes – quick and fuss free summer makeup look.

Missha M Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF25 PA++ 20 ml (14 USD)

Perfect for days when I don’t feel like applying any foundation to my face but still want to look decent. It goes on easily and brightens up my face. The finish is on the dewy side. I got it in the shade No. 23 and it matches my light to medium complexion very well.

L.A. Girl PRO.coverage HD Long Wear Illuminating Liquid Foundation (10 USD)

I’ve already talked about this one in my LA Girl haul here. It gives my face that polished flawless look, while still looking natural. Now that I’ve got some tan, shade Natural fits me perfectly.

Not so favourites

Nivea Gentle Foaming Cleanser

A solid cleansing mousse, gentle on my face and eyes, but it doesn’t remove my makeup completely. And the foam is not dense enough for my preference.

Avon True Nutra Effects Micellar Water

This is supposed to be a gentle micellar water suitable for all skin types. Even though it removes makeup well, even waterproof and stubborn makeup, it stings not only my eyes but my whole face.

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel

This is a peeling gel that is supposed to remove dead skin cells from your face and neck. I’m not sure is it only me, but after I’m done with the peeling and try to remove the solids that have formed, they stick to my skin and facial hair and there is no way I can remove them properly. Also, I haven’t noticed my skin feeling any smoother. I’m glad this was only a sample, because full sized product retails for 70 USD.

Avon Planet Spa Amazonian Treasures Hydrating Face Mask

As the name suggests, this is a hydrating facial mask. I don’t usually go for hydrating masks, I prefer clarifying ones. I’m not saying this is a bad mask, but it doesn’t do much for my face. And it stings my face for the first few minutes.

St. Tropez Instant Tan Body Gloss

This was a part of Look Fantastic Beauty Box. I’m not a fan of self-tanning products in general, but this was one of the worse I’ve tried in awhile. It’s very sticky, takes a lot of time to completely dry and stains everything it touches. This is supposed to be easily removed with water, but after I’ve tried that, it left my skin with orangey tanned patches.
