Bridegroom Documentary Plot

Okay, all you homophobes out there, imagine this: You meet this person and you fall deeply in love with them. But their parents don’t like it, at all. You’re together for 6 years, you share a mortgage, your own business together, and you have a dog. One morning, you get into an argument and your partner leaves without saying goodbye. You text and apologize, say you love each other and then, it’s over. They’re gone and you are left with nothing. Since the law would not allow the two of you to get married, your partner has to die alone and miserable in a hospital bed. You don’t get to see them until after they’ve done passed. Those happy, 6 years you two spent together meant absolutely nothing. If that’s not enough, their parent comes to your house, the house you shared with your partner for 6 years, and takes everything of theirs. You have nothing of theirs to remember you by, except a promise ring given to you 5 months before their death. And if that’s not enough, you’re told if you attend their funeral, you will be killed. So you go and keep your distance so as not to be seen. You’re not mentioned in the funeral service, the obituary, no one mentions you whatsoever. The last 6 years of you and your partner’s lives are erased. That is the real life struggle that Shane Bitney Crone faced when his partner/boyfriend/fiancé Tom Bridegroom fell from a 4 story building. That is the true meaning of lost love, so please watch the movie. It’s on Netflix and if you don’t have Netflix, it’s on YouTube, just search it. It’s worth watching.
