I'd been meaning to do this since I found your account but today I read through the entirety of your Goldielocks fic (or at least, what's available) and all I can say is WOW !!!!!

You're really fucking good at writing these characters, capturing the lighthearted-yet-somehow-serious tone of the show, and the stuff you make up for worldbuilding fits right in with canon stuff. As a lover of making things canon-compliant and in-spirit-of-canon, this fic is like a dream come true. You're an amazing author !

I really look forward to your post-TBOB edits of the eclipse arc and the flatworld arc, I can already kind of guess where you're gonna go with it, but it's still exciting to think about what direction you might take things.

I'm also wondering, are you planning on changing anything about the Death Valley girls, what with the info we got about ciphertology and the like ? Or keeping them relatively the same ?

For the flatworld arc, I actually think basically nothing's going to change. Spoilers, but: Bill's world was never gonna be like Flatworld. It was gonna be a big reveal late in the fic ("big" for the characters, not the readers lmao) that Bill's world was actually pretty okay—like yeah, a few flaws, but not "barely-exaggerated satire of Victorian-era ableism/sexism/classism" flaws—and everything the kids read in Flatworld that made them pity Bill was 100% bullshit. It was going to turn out that Bill's world is actually...

... pretty much fucking exactly like Euclydia ended up being in canon—up to and including baby Bill getting medical trauma over having a super-rare cool-ass eye mutation that lets him see the stars of the third dimension.

I was gonna have Bill go "oh yeah, that's why I drove the author insane, I was that pissed at him for making my home world look that bad. I didn't correct you guys because I thought it'd be useful if you pitied me."

I did this because, before TBOB came out, I knew that no matter what I wrote about Bill's home dimension, probably a good 20% of readers would just push it to the side and automatically assume that his dimension was exactly the same as Flatland—like, occasionally readers were making comments about my fic talking about how triangles ***ARE*** oppressed in his home dimension like it was a canonical fact and taking it as a given that I was writing that. For that 20%, it seemed to me like the best way to ensure it got through to them that whoa, this isn't Flatland would be to have the characters assume his dimension is exactly the same as Flatland so that I could say, in story, "no that's totally wrong."

Post-TBOB, a lot fewer readers are gonna make that assumption. But having the characters assume his dimension is a lot worse than it really is is still a part of the story—it ties into the narrative of them slowly growing to expect him to be something more sympathetic/heroic than he actually is, a la Dipper's assumption that the Axolotl poem is a prophecy about how Bill will help save them—so there's no reason for me to take it out.

So yeah, tl;dr: Flatworld doesn't need to change because it was always going to be wrong.

I'm only gonna change the Death Valley girls a little bit. Everything I've currently written about them stays the same; except I'm also gonna mention that, yes, they are a Ciphertology sect, and yes, all the girls in the cult are Cipherwives.

So now I also get to crack jokes about Bill being both flattered and a little creeped out that even after he mostly ditched the cult they just kept inducting new recruits as "cipherwives" whether he showed up or not, like wow, you're just gonna marry him off in absentia to some lady he's never met??? What if he doesn't wanna marry her? What if he doesn't like her haircut?? Every time he shows up he finds out he's got a new wife! He loves the attention, but jeez, girls! At least send him a letter with his new bride's picture and wait for him to mail back an "OK" or something!

I just found your immune system characters, and I LOVE them!!! I'm really interested in what inspired your designs for the pathogens, and if you have any ideas for other ones? When I was a kid I would make little comics anthropomorphizing different pathogens (based on Giant Microbe plushies) and so I'm interested in a fresh perspective on these lil' troublemakers :D

It’s quite abstract but I’m trying to respect some random aspects of the original bacterias and what diseases they cause.

As examples:

Since Tuberculosis is mostly known for its attack on lungs: it’s partially shaped like a piece of cloth for its capacity to be volatile (also inspired from the yokai Ittan-Momen who suffocates its victims).

I wanted Tetani to have an ‘electric’ look because it causes muscles to contract themselves. The pointy design might comes from the fact you commonly catch them from metal🤔

My main restriction is to avoid making them looking like animals (that includes anthro).

For the rest, I’m still trying to order my ideas but I want each design to follow a logic (like being able to differentiate gram + and gram - ones, etc).

For the most part, I’ll treat them as recurring antagonists.

My story mainly focuses on bacterias for pathogens. I don’t feel ready to touch on virus since they’re complex beings to treat (+the diseases they cause nowadays can be quite touchy to speak on (… covid19 ).

If I have to bring them, it’s gonna be about common colds.

I want Unimune to be enjoyable so I don’t want to talk about serious lethal diseases🫡

I can certainly see it! I don’t engage much so I wouldn’t say I ‘ship it’ really but oh boy I do get it. I’ve seen a lot of lovely art and it’s swayed me in its favor I will say. Also height difference is a weakness of mine <3

I think they have an interesting dynamic and I actually have some thoughts about the concept of Morry mourning the loss of Cal in the sense of him being ‘good’ now and Loboto still being on the run. I think it could be interesting especially if repressed into some kind of longing to return to villainy that is actually a longing for his old partner.

19:45pm. Saturday night, inside the room, there was our married lovebirds. Carrie finishing your last lipstick and an up Brick watching himself to another mirror while trying to fix his tie.

"Damn..why this thing has to be so complicated..?" He murmured. Carrie giggled and offered to help her husband, but Brick smiled and refused on playful tone.

"Mhm! I'll gonna pretend you really deal with it, Mr. Campbell." And she winked as response while returning to sit. Brick just smiled, admiring his wife's beauty. Long strawberry hair, a simple light blue dress, discreet makeup, he couldn't believe how his wife could be so beautiful even not using many makeup or wearing extravagant fashion like any women would do. And after dreaming about her, he needed to remember to focus on himself and returned to fix again his tie. Between, there was a radio playing a lot of many songs to distract their minds but Brick's mind was interrupted after the announcer announced "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top. One of Brick's favorite songs.

And when started the recognizeable intro, he smirked to Carrie and warned her that it was his time.

"This my showtime!" And he started to take his gray coat and pose like a real rockstar, which made Carrie to giggle and ordered him to stop.

"Gold watch! Diamond ring! I ain't missin' not a single thing...They come runnin' just as fast as they can, 'coz every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man.." And he kept singing and moving like he forgot that they won't go for a date dinner. During the guitar solo, he started to stare seductive to Carrie that tried to ignore and focus to her makeup.

"Doesn't 'mah lady mind to dance with her hubby..?"

"No, Bricky. I'm busy now and we'll get late." She said, playfully scolding. But this "no" meant "yes" for him and when she less found, Brick come behind and wrap his muscular arms, holding her and making to shiver from his touches.

"B-Bricky! What are you doing??" And her body left the chair to focus her eyes to those smirk grin and seductive darker eyes, Brick started rolling with his wife, that laughed from this situation, even getting a bit dizzy.

And before the music faded, Carrie and Brick kept spinning until he took Carrie for the floor again and she ran, trying to "escape".

"Come here, my beautiful bunny!"

"Oh no! The Big Bad Wolf' gonna pick me! Help!!" She said, pretending as she's no exit. And both ran around the house, like two big children playing of tag, you're it. She tried to hide against the curtains and smirking, he pretended an annoyance.

"Come, little bunny! You can't hide forever! or I'll blow this house!" She got quieter, holding to not laugh as much she's doing.

"Guess I know where is my little bunny....." And for more few seconds, Brick opened the curtains, finding Carrie, that screamed on fake horror. "Oh no!! The Big Bad Wolf found me aaaaahhh.." And both laughed, with Brick carrying Carrie on bridal one and both starting kissing passionately. With their tongues wrapping like an embrace, she wraps her arms around his large neck to help Brick on holding tighter.

Passing some minutes, after the song had finished, Carrie warned him about their date.

"Oh, yeah, the dinner date! I was close to forget when I have such a beautiful princess in my life hehe."

"Why are you so impossibly crazy?"

"Because I am crazy....for you!" And both returned to laugh and share a last kiss before they would return the room and finish their last details for their date. That night promised to be so good like the others one.

The vehicles were developed by Eisenwerk Weserhütte of Bad Oeynhausen by using the chassis of the type Horch 108 (one of the Einheits-PKW der Wehrmacht standardised designs of heavy off-road car for the armed forces) with an angled armoured body and turret. Chassis were built by Horch (Auto Union) in Zwickau and assembled by F. Schichau of Elbing and Maschinenfabrik Niedersachsen in Hanover-Linden. The rear-mounted petrol engine was originally a 3.5 Litre Horch V8 with 75 PS (55 kW; 74 hp) (Ausf. A chassis); from 1942, this was replaced by a 3.8 Litre with 90 PS (66 kW; 89 hp) (Ausf. B chassis), giving it a road speed of 80 km/h (50 mph) and a cross-country speed of 40 km/h (25 mph). It had a maximum range of 300 km (186 mi). Used by the reconnaissance battalions (Aufklärungs-Abteilung) of the Panzer divisions, the type performed well enough in countries with good road networks, like those in Western Europe. However, on the Eastern Front and in the deserts of the North African campaign, this class of vehicle was hampered by its relatively poor off-road performance. In addition there is my child’s needs:

-a pack of Pampers for 180 shekels (45€ ),

-3 cans of baby milk per month for 120 shekels (30€ ),

-warm clothes for the child about (100€ ),

-and a plastic cover for the tent to protect us from the rain costs about (200€ ),

I want to buy cleaning materials , such as :

-Bottle of shampoo 80 shekels ( 20€ ).

-2 Kilo of washing powder 140 shekels (36€ ).

-Bottle of dish- washing liquid 50 shekels ( 13€) .

****So i urgently need your help that I can go to the market and buy these very necessary supplies.

Note : Now , we are using fire for cooking and baking , and the price of a kilo of firewood is almost (2€ )

The flour we have , contains worms and weevils and is expired.

Yami Yugi Role-play Deck

This week I decided to do a build for Yami Yugi or Atem from the Duel Monsters run of the Yugioh anime. This build is as anime accurate as I can get it, combining some of the characters best cards and strategies. I will state that I am not very good at Yugioh; I just like having fun and building fun decks and this deck is intended for nothing more than roleplaying. Below is the current deck recipe.

   This deck is made using cards Atem has actually been seen using or has had listed in deck profiles. Essentially it’s focused on getting Dark Magician to the field or a god card. Your DM pieces are Dark Magician Girl/Sage’s Stone, dark magic curtain, dark magic veil, dark renewal or Skilled Dark Magician. All of those cards are fairly solid, giving you quick ways to get a 2500 beater on board. It’s when you move over to the gods that things get a bit shaky.

 First off all three god cards are in the deck (pretty obvious since this is a deck based around Atem’s cards), each requiring three tributes each which means you’re not going to be summoning more than one or two in a duel. The shakiest would be the poker knights since they require such a specific order to use the special summoning ability. You have to have Queen’s Knight already on the field when you play King’s Knight which will then let you special summon Jack’s Knight from the deck. So you have to play the other two and not draw Jack in order to activate King’s special ability to give you three tributes. Next up would be the Magnet Warrior combo which is a lot better considering you can play them in any order and combine them to get a stronger monster, then just uncombined them to get your three tributes back.

 Typically you’ll use Obelisk since he’s kind of an all-purpose for this deck. Slifer would be a decent option as well but since his power relies on having cards in your hand you might want to consider opting for a strategy of limiting what you use in your hand. Ra is kind of hard to use unless you can summon the beast early on when you still have high life points and shoot for game.

 Alternatively, you could switch out the god cards for any of the cards in the side deck. Such as Gaia and Curse of Dragoon. However Gaia the Dragon Champion only has 2600 ATK points. Alternatively, Dark Magician is way easier to summon and only has 100 points less than Dragon Champion, also with the way deck is set up Dark Magician girl can easily match Dragon Champion with DM and Magician of Black Chaos in the grave. Dark Magician can also can a hefty attack boost with Mage Power since there are a few quick plays and all the traps are offensive you’ll be setting a lot. If you’re in a role-play and you have to tag duel with a Joey then you could toss in Summoned Skull for a B. Skull Dragon play. Or bring in BLS to summon Dragon Master Knight if you’re tag-teaming with a Kaiba role-player.  I have MBC in there to add to Dark Magician Girl’s ATK. You could also swap out the Celtic Guards or Magician’s Valkyria, Celtic Guard of Noble Arms allows for a couple of draws depending on how many Celtic Guardian monsters on your side of the field. Magician’s Valkyria could easily be swapped out for Electromagnetic Turtle and that’s probably the better option I just like Valkyria.

Multiply merely allows for a wall, with these slower role-play style decks your opponent is typically not going to clear your field in one turn so it will buy you some time to pull better plays to your hand. The spell cards are fairly basic and most of them work to bring out Dark Magician or a dark spellcaster. While the trap cards are counters, like Spellbinding Circle or Mirror Force.

The extra deck is really lackluster if I’m being honest, with a few fusions the deck can actually create on its own Amulet Dragon and Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight being your main fusions by means of the Eye of Timaeus, Dark Paladin is also a decent option but you’re only really going to summon it if you’re facing someone who’s playing a bunch of dragons. Chimera isn’t a bad option either if you’ve got the materials, and if it dies then you can get one of the two beasts fused back allowing you to do something else.

 To conclude that’s really about it. It’s a bricky deck that’s not going to win you a lot of games unless you’re using it in a role-play where everyone else is playing at a slow speed as well.
