I went in with exactly zero plans besides "make pretty pearl-like jewelry" and you know what? #NailedIt Although I did get a little lazy there for the back view; literally just copied the front view and smushed things around with various transformation tools lol. You can tell by how blurry it is. You can also tell that I added another little dangly thing towards the side of the cloak that wraps around front, because it's not all blurry XD

Saverio's Authentic Pizza Napoletana - N Broadway in North Massapequa, NY

After hitting Angelo's last time I was on LI, I was still hungry before Matt and I headed out to the concert we were going to that night. He wasn't hungry, so I decided to just grab a quick slice so I could bring all of you a brand new Long Island pizza review. Andrew Burke also accompanied us and gave me the bad news that Saverio's, a highly recommended local spot I had yet to try, was pie only.......but we hesitantly soldiered on anyway.

Andrew and I decided to split a pie and settled on the Alla Vodka (yup, vodka sauce twice in a day!). Luckily, even though it was a pie, our wait time was very short (less than 10 mins). Overall, it was a great tasting pie. Delicious vodka sauce and excellent, fluffy crust. However, I still had a few gripes. First was obviously the fact Saverio's is pie only, and for the size (and price), it's just too much for one person to eat on a normal day. It's a good size for two people though as I was decently full after half a pie. The pie was cut into 6 pieces and I probably would have preferred 4 slices, but 3 was still pretty filling. Anyway, the second (and probably biggest) issue was the price. A vodka pie costs $16.29, which would be fine if it was a full size pie, but considering it's only enough for 2 people...yeah it's a little expensive. Definitely not worth it if you're trying to get takeout for the whole family. And $16 on your own for something you probably won't finish? Count me out. My third and final issue was that when the pie came out it was so hot that the sauce and cheese were just sliding off the crust making it very difficult to enjoy. It was fine after like five minutes but damn I'm not trying to wait that long to eat my za!

Overall, I would give Saverio's a selective recommendation. It would be great for a date night or if you're hanging out with a single friend, but by yourself or with a large group it's just too expensive for what you're getting. Though it was good, I don't see myself heading back anytime soon.

10 june 2023—went to big g's house tahday bc i hv back-to-back shoots tomorrow. after that we did some grocery and home essentials shopping, and then had dinner at amare la cucina.

i miss eating at amare la cucina—i first had them at their pioneer branch, which is in kapitolyo. i even tried their make your own pizza thingy and it was so fun!

on our dinner, we had one of their pizzas and a generous serving of lasagna. these may just be two dishes, but you best believe, i got up from our table with a happy belly. hihi.

p.s. tonight i fell in love with amare la cucina's crazy honey once again ugh izzo good! 😘🤌
