You made a blog for your ocs!!! How did I miss this!!
Please, if you can, tell me some fun facts about best girl Bria 💕✨✨
What are her hobbies? What does she do for self-care? What kind of books does she like to read? And anything else you can think of!
I did! And you’re my very first ask…I’m absolutely astounded, honestly, that I’ve gotten an ask or that people are checking out this self-indulgent sideblog of mine. Thank you so much for your interest in best girl Bria! I love writing about her; she definitely gets some favoritism from me so I loved answering this. I hope it’s interesting to you and others who aren’t me, but really, just thank you so, so much for giving me this excuse to rant about her!
Let’s start with the actual questions you posed. We’ll start with the hobbies that Bria has. Which really aren’t too many, to be honest. She has far less hobbies than she wants to have or would like to have. In one of Bria’s most toxic traits, she’s super hard on herself and pushes herself to be crazy productive. In her mind, she’s not worth a lot, as a person and as a Guardian, unless she’s always being ‘perfect’ and her idea of perfection is intrinsically tied to being productive. In her mind, she should always be doing something. She pushes herself really hard – she must be among the tops in grades in school. She must not only take care of her other Family members and the house they all share, but she must stay active and current on everything going on in their lives, in their varying hobbies and changing interests and such. When she’s not doing that, she feels she must be training and improving her skills. When she isn’t doing that, she feels she must be learning various subjects that will help the Family, along with learning the wider world of the Mafia.
It leaves her very little time for proper hobbies of her own. However, in the little bits of time she does find herself with in between everything else she does, she does somehow find times to have a couple things that she really loves and considers hobbies.
Bria is definitely one of those weird people who truly enjoy house-cleaning, for one. Other than just feeling like she should be responsible for it, she volunteers and takes over taking care of the house because it’s something she genuinely finds relaxing. House-hold cleaning and chores aren’t too mentally taxing, they’re monotonous, and that gives her overactive mind a break while also allowing her to have an outlet for the huge amount of nervous energy she normally contains. Her favourite chore is the dishes and her least favourite is cleaning the bathroom. Both Guiana, Raf, and Lara always leave it an absolute mess, with Lara’s makeup and skincare stuff always being all over the place, Guiana having a bad habit of just wiping her hair onto the shower wall when it sheds, and Raf leaving spit-out toothpaste in the sink.
Bria also has a really strong interest in not only interior décor but houses and architecture in general. This is expressed during her teen years in first redecorating and rearranging her own bedroom a dozen times over and then doing the same to the house Luca and the Guardians end up sharing. She’ll be the main one deciding how the place is decorated, though she does take the others opinions into consideration. She also checks a lot of real estate listings and I think one of her main guilty pleasures is going to open houses, even when she has no intentions of seriously buying property or anything. It’s surprisingly Tony who often accompanies Bria to these. In fact, later on, when they’re both adults, I see Bria and Tony, who actually shares her interest in architecture, restoring and selling at least one or two historical properties.
Bria also has a real soft spot for paint-by-numbers. She doesn’t really consider herself a good artist. When faced with a blank white canvas or a blank sheet of sketching paper, she has no idea what to create. She becomes overcome with fear about messing up or creating something that’s trash. With paint by numbers, she gets to feel like an artist, while not having to worry about messing up. She knows the picture she’ll create will look good because it has rules and guidelines already in place. She finds intense satisfaction in perfectly filling in each spot and gets excited for the finished product each time. A lot of the art in the places she’ll live are her finished paint-by-numbers and, other than books, these are the gifts that the other’s often think to give Bria.
I say other than books because Bria’s main hobby and her biggest love? It’s reading. She’s been a voracious reader since she was a child. She’s been reading since she was four, encouraged by Luca’s father who would sit and help her sound out words or would read to her and Luca. She was reading junior chapter books by the time she was seven and had progressed to actual novels by the time she was ten. She is a quick reader and, despite pushing herself and having so little time to herself, she aims to finish a book every month, though she does prefer months when she gets through more than just one book.
She’s not really finicky about what she reads. She’s willing to try most genres and styles, such as fiction, non-fiction, poetry and the like. She really loves non-fiction, especially biographies. When reading fiction, she’s a fantasy novel geek, likes some comic books, and is shonen manga trash, which she’s less shy about admitting. Her secret guilty pleasure for fiction though, and the one she tries to hide? She’s a huge fan of romance novels and shoujo manga. The one she ensures she hides? Her love of trashy erotica ala Harlequin novels, Fifty Shades of Grey, Billionaire Boys Club, etc.
As you can probably guess, Bria doesn’t really allow much self-care into her life. Her entire worth is really based around what she can do for others, often at the expense of her own needs, desires, and health. She wouldn’t even know where to really begin with self-care. To her, the term is really about things that she doesn’t have much interest in – bubble baths, skin-care routines, shopping days, and other stereotypical self-care clichés. It takes her a long time, honestly, to realize that self-care means so much more than that and really encompasses anything she feels like doing to relax.
Fun little facts – she paces whenever she gets angry.
She talks with her hands without even realizing she’s doing so.
She’s embarrassed to admit it, but she reads her horoscope and the horoscopes of her family members every day. She’s not entirely convinced of the validity of astrology, but she’s not convinced there’s absolutely no validity.
She goes to bed pretty early compared to some of the other members of the family, but has a hard time falling asleep. It normally takes her at least an hour or more to fall asleep.

Still continuing on with social-muffin’s amazing KHR OC ask questions, this time for Bria! This girl is so easy for me to write, she flows off my fingertips every time I use her and it’s absolutely wonderful. I hope others will enjoy her just as much as I do!
What's your OCs name, pronouns and gender?
Her full name is Bria Marina Di Giore, and she goes by Bria. She’s never really had any nicknames, save for some mean-spirited ones, like ‘Little Miss Know It All’ which is still something Theo calls her when the two of them get into pretty serious squabbles. She’s a cisgender female who goes by she/her pronouns. When it comes to other’s gender expressions and chosen pronouns, Bria tries her best not to assume too much and to always respect them. Despite having called Theo by he/him for a lot of their childhood and having always thought of them as a boy during that time, when Theo made it clear that they thought that gender didn’t suit him and started requesting to be identified as they/them, Bria’s the only one, other than Luca, that really didn’t have an issue with it. In fact, she actually became extremely conscientious, almost overly so, with making sure that she didn’t accidentally mislabel Theo and was the first one to get upset when any of the others did, even if Theo themselves were very much like ‘nah, it’s cool, accidental slip, no big deal’.
What's their current age and what age do/did they get involved with the khr Canon?
During the course of the story, when Bria really comes into the KHR canon, she’s 16. But I don’t think she’s been 16 very long and she’s really aware of the fact that she’s reached that milestone. She suddenly feels like she should be very mature and more grown-up now that’s she’s reached that age. The other Guardians referring to her and Fonz as ‘old’ really bothers her instead of making her laugh, which is what it makes Fonz do. In the Future Arc, she’d be 26-27, and, like Luca, I’ve headcanoned her out into the far future, where she dies relatively young at 63 from a heart attack caused by the constant stress she puts herself under and unhealthy living habits she adopts in an effort to get everything done she feels she needs to.
What do they look like? Height, weight, unique physical features? (Drawings, Picrews, descriptions, all are welcome! Except AI art lmao)
The face claim I use for Bria is Suzume Iwato from Makato Shinkai. However, while I use it as a face claim, much like Luca, it’s not exact in how I envision her in my mind and is just the closest I can come. She’s got dark brown hair, which, during the summer months when she’s out in the direct sunlight for a long time, her hair tends to gain some reddish tones, almost highlights to it. She typically tends to wear it up in either a ponytail, a bun, or a crown braid. She has dark brown eyes as well and I actually think that as a kid, she kind of had really bushy eyebrows that were almost a monobrow. Once she reached her preteens, she became obsessive about tweezing her eyebrows and takes careful care with them, getting them to just the right thickness and shape.
She’s pretty average height, around 5’6, and there’s nothing particularly striking about her appearance. She’s slim and long-legged, and while she has some curves, they’re nothing major. She’s at best a B-cup and she doesn’t really have noticeably curvaceous hips or anything. The most noticeable thing about her is how she moves and holds herself. Her posture is…well, as close to perfect as she can get. She holds herself confidently, despite often feeling as far from confident as she can and though it makes her want to puke most times, she’s trained herself on how to make proper eye-contact during conversations. She’s also taught herself how much personal space should be expected and how to react as if others inside her personal space is not a big deal. When it comes to her movements, they’re swift and sure. She’s someone who moves with purpose, but always kind of comes off as if she’s in a little bit of a hurry as well.
Her main beauty point? She’s got an absolutely killer smile, though she doesn’t believe so. Her smile is slow-building and crooked, but it’s one of those types that just lights up the person’s face and makes you want to smile back.
Like everyone else in the next-gen Accardi’s, Bria has pierced ears but has no major piercings or tattoos other than that. She doesn’t really feel they’re ‘proper’, at least not for her. She does, however, have a noticeable scar, just below her bottom lip, that she gets embarrassed about, from a time as a kid that she put her upper teeth through her bottom lip when she fell face-first on a sidewalk.
What's your OCs relation to KHR? Are they someone's guardian, friend, subordinate, love interest? Or are they a family member of a canon character? If so, how are they related to that character?
Like all the rest of the Accardi Family, Bria comes into the KHR ‘verse as a next generation Accardi Guardian. Her mother, who is the only parent she has ever had, was Luca’s father’s Sun Guardian. Bria never had a particularly close relationship with her mother. Outside of subjecting her daughter to some harsh training and almost impossible expectations, her mother seemed to be bothered and burdened by Bria’s presence in her life. Maybe it was because of this that Bria bonded so strongly and so fiercely to the other children of the next generation. She was also really fond of Luca’s father and mother, who treated her almost like their own daughter. It was a major shock and betrayal, in Bria’s eyes, then, when her mother took an active role in the coup that killed Luca’s father.
She’s Luca’s right hand and between Bria and Theo, the driving force of a lot of the plans made. Luca might give some opinions, but Bria is one of the main people making things happen. She’s also one of the ones who are really keeping the next-generation Guardians all together, who is keeping the Family unit strong and united. She’s almost a motherly influence on the group and she works hard to keep everything running smoothly for them all. She plays mediator and peacekeeper during internal conflicts among the group.
On top of all that, she’s also the one who is the most supportive of Luca wanting to get to better know Tsuna and to trust Tsuna. While she does have serious doubts about Tsuna’s generation of the Vongola, she tries her best to keep an open mind, never voices any of those doubts, and always tries to find the positive things about Tsuna and his friends to point out to the others, just to diminish any doubts about Luca’s leadership choices. Maybe it’s because of this that, outside of Luca, she’s the first to start really building bonds with the Vongola.
What's your OCs flame/flames? If they have multiple, which flame is their strongest?
Bria doesn’t know why, but she does possess a Sky Flame. Since it’s canon that Flames do have some genetic component, she’s always theorized that her father must have had them. She can light, and use, other Flames as well, but nowhere near the point of her Sky Flame. While it does not rival Tsuna’s Sky Flame in its purity and concentration, it’s surprisingly clear and can pack quite a punch. Her secondary Rain Flame is of a lower quality but still on the purer side, while a third Mist Flame, which she has to actively concentrate and pour all her willpower into to light and successfully use, is very murky and not clear at all.
How does your OC use their flame? Strictly for combat, or more recreationally? Is flame use something instinctive to them, or do they have to direct their flame consciously?
In Bria’s mind, the Guardian’s possess the Flames they do only as tools to be of service to the Family. Because of this, she thinks of the Flames less as parts of herself and more as only weapons meant to be used for combat only. While she’s a threat in combat when using her Flame, this attitude does lead her to be a little easier to read in how she’ll use the Flames, as she lacks imagination in the forms and ways in which to use those Flames. Because of the attributes of her Flame type, she is working on fixing that flaw of hers by using her Flames in combination with those of the other Guardians to create combination attacks, something that, by the end of the story, she can at least manage to do at a decent enough level and, by the end of her life, is amazingly adept at, mastering a new fighting style through her work in that field.
Does your OC have a mafia family they are a part of? If so, what's their position in that Familia?
As mentioned above in question 4, Bria is the right hand of the next generation of the Accardi Family and, by the end of the story, the first Accardi Family Sky Guardian.
If your OC was a civillain what would their job be? Would they be happy with that job? Would they be good at it?
Bria would most want to work in a job where she could not only really help other people, but could put her unique skills and talents to the best use. Because of this, I do see her going to work as a receptionist/assistant in a mental health clinic. She always makes sure to treat the clients politely and to do something to brighten up their day while they’re there and her natural organizational skills and excellent memory make her well-suited for the job.
Do you have a voice actor picked out for your OC? If yes, why did you pick this voice actor? (If someone talked with your oc, what would they notice about their voice?)
I don’t really think I have one firmly picked out for Bria, but I think the closest I could come to a good voice actress for her would probably be Kat Dennings. She just has one of those really distinctive voices that you can kind of recognize anywhere. She speaks pretty quickly and her voice tends to give away more than her expression does, even when she’s trying her best to sound as professional and dignified as she can be. She’s prone to humming while doing small things, like researching, chores, or things along those lines.
Last question! What's your OCs current fashion style? And what's their dream style? Are they close?
Bria’s style is quite modest. She doesn’t like to wear anything that has a lot of skin showing. She’d be fine with a school uniform, and would openly welcome it in fact. She likes not having to think so hard about what to wear. On her own, she tends to prefer skirts or shorts to long pants, wanting to show off her better physical assets, which she thinks her legs are. Her style tends to skew more dark academia, with darker or muted colours, vintage or vintage inspired clothing, leather and tweed, cardigans, and the like. She doesn’t wear a lot of accessories and those she wears are minimal – simple studs or very small hoops in her ears, delicate jewelry, wire-rimmed reading glasses when needed. She accentuates with a ‘no makeup’ makeup look that she’s perfected and never skips. She really pushes herself to high standards and is neurotic about always looking perfectly put-together and like someone others should take seriously.

6) What is the thing your OC likes the least about themselves?
Luca definitely dislikes his disability. He knows he should have made peace with hit. He’s lived with it his whole life and he should be both used to it and comfortable with it. He should have his shit together and not be bitter about not being able to easily communicate in the way that most people can. He should be a good example of how to live confidently and successfully no matter the hurdles you face. This is all very much how he feels and all very much stuff that he lectures himself about in his head. It’s things that he beats himself up over and things that weigh heavy on him. It’s funny, because though there are people who definitely get frustrated at Luca not being able to talk to them verbally, a lot of other people don’t really see him as being super awkward or a challenge to talk to, even when Luca himself definitely views himself through that lens.
Bria hates how self-conscious she is. She can’t just exist without feeling like she needs to be doing something to justify existing. She’s constantly worrying and constantly beating herself up over something. She overthinks everything and cannot seem to be content with who she is. She worries over every interaction with people outside of her family, and even with those inside of her family, she puts a massive amount of pressure on herself to be ‘the perfect big sister’ of the family unit. She won’t confide in any of them the tremendous pressure she feels, any of her burdens, her own doubt that she’s worthy of existing just as she is, and her worries that she’s simply not good enough as a person. It’s all a lot of stress and anxiety all the time and she would give anything for a healthy, regular brain.
Lara has a hard time with school. Book learning comes really hard for her and she’s definitely been called stupid a time or two. She just finds it really hard to stay still for that long, to dedicate her time to things that don’t interest her and needs a lot of time for more complex information to not only sink into her brain but for her to dissect it all out, nice and neat, in ways that will settle into her brain properly. She pretends like she doesn’t give a fuck about grades or school, but she hates failing tests and then feeling like she’s stupid just because she doesn’t understand the things everyone else seems to get right away.
Fonz loves music. He devotes so much time and attention to learning to play instruments, to learning to write lyrics and sheet music. He works hard at it because he’s so passionate about it. It’s why it bothers him so much that he really doesn’t have a musician’s ear. He’s pretty tone-deaf and really has a hard time keeping the beat and rhythm to songs. Though he works hard to fix those things and to get better as a songwriter and guitar player, he wishes he was born with more talent than he has.
Raf knows he lacks presence. He’s easily overlooked by those around him, who often don’t really even seem to see him. He can easily be in a room for ten or fifteen minutes, sometimes even more, before someone realizes he’s there and it’s normally because of some noise or comment he makes that they realize his presence. He just kind of fades into the background. While it can sometimes be useful, he really wishes at times that he was more charismatic, charming, and had a stronger presence than he does.
Tony has an allergy to dogs and cats. He absolutely hates this fact, because he has always really wanted to have a dog in particular. He watches funny, goofy, or cute dog videos whenever he thinks no one else is watching and even has the ideal breed of dog all picked out that he would want. It’s just that damn allergy standing in his way.
Theo, while he adores his brother more than anything else in the world, does find himself jealous of Tony more than he wants to admit. It’s kind of why he does treat his twin the way he does, always reminding Tony that he’s the younger brother, putting his brother down at times or acting high and mighty. Truth be told, he’s more than a little jealous of his brother’s natural athleticism, as Theo isn’t great at sports, and it bothers him just how easily people seem to trust Tony and view him as someone reliable, while people are often on guard around Theo and don’t come to him with their problems.
Guiana hates the limits of her human brain. She’s definitely someone who fully buys into that myth that humans only use 10% of their brain and it pisses her off. If this is her brain at only 10%, what else could she do with the remaining 90%? What secrets are buried in that 90%? Could she unlock the secrets of past lives? Of the universe itself? Could she develop extra senses? It just all holds so much mystery and wonder and she curses herself for her own limits and the fact that she was born very human instead of something divine or superhuman.
Kish hates how emotional she can be. It’s not that she’s ashamed of having emotions, but it’s more how strongly she feels everything. Everything is either absolutely incredible, the best thing ever, or infuriating to the point of wanting to murder someone, or so sad she can see no reason to be on the earth anymore. Her emotions are intense, all-consuming, she drowns in them. She can’t focus on anything else besides what she’s feeling at any given time, and no amount of logic wins over those emotions. She has done her best to get help managing her emotions, has gone to anger-management group sessions and seen a therapist a few times, so she’s started to build some coping skills, but she’s definitely not okay or ‘healed’ or any such shit. She still really struggles with managing those intense emotions and does sometimes wish that she felt things in a normal way.

Languages you can speak and/or are learning. Which are you fluent in?
Luca, being deaf, communicates entirely in sign language. He was raised and uses LIS most often, but is also competent in ASL and JSL. He’s not completely fluent in either of those, but he can carry on fairly well in conversations done in those languages. He is also able to read lips in both Italian and Japanese to a fair extent.
Bria, like all the guardians, can speak LIS due to growing up with Luca. She also can speak ‘eggyman’ language, a made-up language that all the verbal kids of the Accardi family made up when they were like 4 or 5 and that they all use to converse with each other when they don’t want anyone to know what they’re talking about. She can also speak Italian, English, and Japanese, though her Japanese is sometimes poorly pronounced as she’s still learning it.
Lara, like all the guardians, can speak LIS and eggyman. She also speaks Italian and Japanese, but really doesn’t have much desire to learn any other languages, except for maybe Korean and that’s only because of her intense love of and fascination for KPop.
Fonz speaks LIS, eggyman, and Italian fluently. He can speak Japanese at a conversational level, but fares the worst with the language – he’ll often confuse words that kind of sound similar or forget what word he’s looking for and he’ll play some weird kind of charades so that whoever he’s talking to knows what he means.
Raf speaks LIS, eggyman, and is completely fluent in both Italian and Japanese. He’s also a Duolingo lover, who has learned Russian through the app and is learning French currently through it.
Theo is the best at learning new languages. He speaks fluently in LIS, ASL, JSL, Italian, English, French, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese. His brain just seems to take to languages easily, at least when it comes to speaking them. He suffers a little more in easily being able to read said languages.
Tony, on the other hand, doesn’t have his brother’s natural affinity for languages. He speaks LIS and eggyman, along with his native Italian. He’s learned enough Japanese to get by but is definitely still learning the language every day he’s in Japan and is more hesitant about speaking it, part of why he’s so quiet.
Guiana knows LIS and eggyman (in fact, she was the creative force behind eggyman and the one who named the language). She also knows Italian and Japanese and is currently teaching herself Russian, as she feels it will connect her more to her roots and help her gain back memories of her past life.
