I love angst but I have to say I’d love to see them get back together during the pregnancy. Maybe she moves back into his place and they sleep in separate bed for a while but when she’s around 5 months pregnant they start sleeping in the same bed and getting closer, then eventually get back together.

I think that would be sweet too! I love the idea of her moving back in with him at some point. If she didn’t want to, of course he wouldn’t convince her, but maybe he says that he doesn’t want her to have to be all alone going through the pregnancy. So they lay out some ground rules (i.e., separate beds, and the like) and do their best to navigate not only living together again (and in a much different context) but also pregnancy and the prospect of being parents.  That has to be such a tough thing to navigate because obviously they have this bond over the fact that they made a baby together, and the fact that they were together for long time so how can you not care about the other person, but then they’re not together. I can see them doing a lot of things that they normally would. They still eat dinner together and they’ll watch a movie after, Harry still makes her a cup of (decaf) coffee, they shop for groceries together, Harry goes to all of her prenatal appointments, but it’s just a little different. 

Ooo…I’m just wondering how the sharing a bed again moment would happen? Does she accidentally fall asleep there one night? Are they watching something before bed and she starts to get sleepy and says she should probably go to bed but Harry tells her she doesn’t have to go if she doesn’t want to. Or is it a more conscious choice? 

And yes to them slowly getting closer! Just doing little things without even realizing. Like holding hands again, and giving each other little cheek kisses and they just start feeling free to be goofy and silly around each other again and wanting to take care of the other one. 

Maybe to sprinkle in some angst, she has a mild pregnancy complication, like some weird bleeding and she has to tell Harry and he takes her to the hospital, both of them in a PANIC. And Harry is right there comforting her and holding her hand and wiping her tears away when she starts to get really scared and comforting her. Everything’s absolutely fine, but there’s a moment where they’re both realize that, ‘Wow, when scary things happen, there’s no one I want with me, holding my hand more.’ and ‘If anything ever happened to them, what would I do?’ 

And they get back together just before bubba is born. xx.
