The references to Taylor's songs are not only greatly appreciated by me, but they also fit the story arc to a t. Weird how I hadn't brought that one up.

I also would like to say that you do such an amazing job at conveying their emotions through text messages that it baffles me a bit. I think is a testament to how talented you are with words, that you can find the perfect way to arrange them so we can understand what they're feeling and thinking, without having access to their inner dialogues, descriptions of their facial expressions and basically only getting a summary of what happened based on what they text to each other and rest of the characters. Another con with this cute bunny boy is the fact that he is trying to protect you 24/7. HE has finally found a second chance at love and no way is he gonna let anyone or anything pull him apart from his dearest soulmate

He knows you love travelling but this sweet boi can’t help but feel slightly anxious whenever you leave the castle without him, even if it’s just to go shopping

I think the two of you are incredibly compatible. I.. I’m kind of at a loss for words. I’m. That’s it, huh? It’s really over. It doesn’t FEEL over. There’s so much unfinished business. Well, the only way to really neatly wrap everything up as neatly as S1 did would have been to get ALL THE WAY through the Garou arc, which obviously wasn’t going to happen, but this is not a great spot to leave off if we’re going to endure another few years hiatus. My hope is that, with biweekley manga updates, we should wrap up the Monster Association/Garou stuff (assuming it doesn’t diverge from the web comic too much) some time next year, and I’m HOPING that s3 is already being planned accordingly along side manga publications. So MAYBE it will at least be announced around that time 2020. That’s my wishful thinking at least. I don’t think I can survive 3 years. anyway

You could really tell JC Staff poured their hearts and souls into these last 2 episodes. Absolutely gorgeous, paced well, so completely satisfying and making every second of s2 worth while. For me, at least. I’ve already seen people still complaining and I’m just sorry they didn’t have as much fun as I did. 

Seriously, thank each and every one of you guys. This has been a wild ride, I’ve barely had this blog a few weeks before season 2 started airing (and honestly just got into opm maybe a month before that?), so I owe a lot of the success on the blog to the anime I bet. This was the first series I’ve never tried live bogging, and I honestly can’t believe that they were as popular as they were? Especially since I never have any idea what I’m doing but yall listen to me ramble anyway?? Yall are crazy thank you so so so much. Now my tuesdays are gonna feel really empty… next week is gonna be weird as hell. Though I’m gonna get mad nostalgic good vibes rewatching this season in the future in no small part from sharing my experience with everyone who's stuck around. 1) Rona was such a wasted opportunity of a character for a show that has a track record of treating POCs poorly. Instead, they turned her into the Token Angry Black Girl. Le sigh.

They were trying to highlight that Buffy wanted to rescue Spike for personal reasons more than anything. But there was a more obvious and rational answer to that question: the fact that the First wanted Spike and had obviously been manipulating him should be enough of a reason to want to keep an eye on him.

I still can’tunderstand why no one could put two and two together! Especially Giles...

7) Spike dreaming of breaking free and seeing Buffy is #sad. And then the way he repeats “she’ll come for me” as a mantra is #waysadder. Although it’s beautiful how the reality ended up being so much better than his fantasies.

8) Shocker: Xander truly was Anya’s best boyfriend.

I wish we’d gotten to see more demons/monsters like this one. For a supernatural show, Buffy was usually pretty light on the horror part of it or, well, repetitive (is this a penis metahoor?) 

13) There is something that I appreciate about Kennedy: her bravado and fearlessness. Most of the girlss are sacred shitless, and she’s like, let’s go kill some stuff.

14) And I fucking love this moment. I don’t know, it kind of proved the show still had a few tricks up its sleeve and that it could still surprise us, you know? It’s such a small moment and it almost goes unnoticed, and when it’s revealed what actually was going on it acquires so much relevance.

ANYA I just—I don't understand how Buffy's death mucked up the whole slayer mojo. You know, it's not like she hasn't died before.

GILES It's not because she died. The Beljoxa's Eye was quite clear about that in its enigmatic way. It's because she lives. Again. Buffy's not responsible for that.

ANYA Oh. Oh. Willow and me and Xander and Tara. We're the ones who brought Buffy back. We're—we're the reason The First is here, the reason those girls were murdered. No, it's our fault. The world would've been better off if Buffy had just stayed dead.

 How dare you, Anya. How fucking dare you. Yes, they fucked up, they had messed with dark forces they couldn’t even imagine because they were selfish and scared. And while there’s truth to what Anya says, there’s something about the way she phrases it that rubs me the wrong way. Because, you see, she’s putting the blame on Buffy. She’s saying: “the world would be better off if Buffy had stayed dead” instead of “the world would be better off if we hadn’t brought her back”

18) I fucking love this, all of it. Iconic.

BUFFY Looks good, doesn't it? They're trapped in here. Terrified. Meat for the beast, and there's nothing they can do but wait. That's all they've been doing for days. Waiting to be picked off. Having nightmares about monsters that can't be killed. But I don't believe in that. I always find a way. I'm the thing that monsters have nightmares about. It truly is an iconic moment, and for good reason. The previous episode had ended with Buffy making a grand speech which was more of a mission statement than an actual plan. The potentials could tell she had good intentions, but they had yet to see what she was capable of doing. On the contrary, they had seen at least two of their own getting killed off, Buffy being beaten up, and The First easily infiltrating their home without anyone noticing it. Buffy needed to show them in an unequivocal way that she was a force to be reckoned with, and that she was putting her money where her mouth was.

In-fucking-deed.

The fight with the Turok Han is definitely one of the most memorable fight scenes in the whole show, and yet another highlight of the season, in my opinion.

And she was so damn right, even if it was still more for show than anything.

BUFFY See? Dust. Just like the rest of 'em. I don't know what's coming next, but I do know it's gonna be just like this. Hard. Painful. But in the end it's gonna be us. If we all do our parts, believe it, we'll be the ones left standing.

I just love how far from the fantasy he played out in his head this scenario is. He imagined there would be this epic battle and that he’d kick some Bringers’ ass and then Buffy would be waiting for him, loving and welcoming. The hero returning to his lady. It’s not just their interaction that matters, it’s seeing their actions whilst fully aware of their pasts to identify growth/change and how others can see their love even when they are not physically together: it’s in how Josie says ‘my father is a fool, one look at you and he should’ve known how this would end’, it’s in how Bellamy seems to ‘care about her more’ than everyone else he cares about (according to J, who is apparently great at reading people est. ep7). It’s how Russell says to Josie ‘have you become so callous to the feelings of others that you don’t remember what it’s like to lose someone you love?’ when canonically she has only expressed loss with Gabriel. She talks about how G has been trying to kill her for 70 years and says ‘relationships, yknow?’ As if B was gonna be like ‘lol tru’, then she takes a walk down memory lane, saying ‘besties’ before claiming how BC is ‘weird’. You’re right Josie, louder!

It’s weird because in s1, the script says Bellamy was thrown by the intimacy then said that for a moment Clarke wanted to run away with him as she held his face in her hands? platonically?What even?? It’s weird because there was a Lexa-Clarke-Bellamy love triangle according to Alycia (Do I even need to go on?)

It’s weird because Clarke jumped on Niylah after putting her hand on top of hers that were on her shoulders, it’s her mating ritual for when she wants to get laid. Observe: she pulled the same shit on Bellamy in the list scene only for him to tell her ‘get some sleep’ (LOL awks - who told her to platonically smush her face on top of their hands that rested on her shoulder for 10+ seconds - maybe B was thrown by the intimacy again bc he was like ‘gtg’ lol) and she ended up in Niylah’s bed the next morning.

It’s weird because Clarke was willing to sacrifice her mother in s3 (Abby was literally hanging when B came in right on time) but gave into Roan’s blackmail with B and Kane in s4 - WELL of course because Kane is her stepdad!!! but...she was willing to let her mum die and that’s exactly what she reminds Roan and the viewers before it becomes canon that Bellamy is THAT pal ™ that is more important than your mother + 50 skykru lives that were dropped from the list just like that even though the whole season Clarke had been all for her people first. Remember when he was about to open the bunker and Clarke fully thought she was saving the human race by locking skykru in but let B open it anyway, crying as she couldn’t even shoot him in the leg or something? Talk about WEAK! Bellamy somehow convinced her to let everyone in?👀 Clexa coalition parallels anyone? No? Ok.

Remember how she looked as she volunteers to go with B to get Raven even tho 5 secs ago, she was ok leaving her and every other friend and human out to die? (Sidenote: ‘I never meant to hurt you’ like CLARKE PLS, you were about let around 600 people die and ur talking about Bellamy? Check urself, he’s pissed too - until he isn’t because Clarke says ‘nothing is okay, no matter what I choose, somebody always dies’ which makes B make light of it (bc he always understands) with ‘not shooting me was the right choice’ leading to it being canon that BC staring at each other causes them to run over someone and crash their very necessary life-saving vehicle... Who tf wrote this???) Throwback to TondC (‘I did it to save Bellamy’ followed ‘what if I sent him in there to die’ which followed ‘you should go, I was being weak’ - the LENgths she was willing to go to progressed with her worry for him that it was truly tragic for the grounder villagers (but tbf Lexa did convince her so Heda is right, they totally couldn’t have created a fire diversion as Clarke suggested) and that worry turned into literal platonic love as, for a moment, it was tragic for everyone outside the bunker too that second times C had to make a similar choice. The narrative really made Clarke say and do those things in that order huh? Wow) Remember how she was ready to let O die and keep B in the bunker, have him hate her to parallel kabby that season? HOW is B still alive? He was all like ‘I’m not gonna be in the bunker’ and Clarke’s like ‘you WILL’ before he even finishes his sentence lol. He did say ‘people die when you’re in charge’ and yet... it’s almost like idk, Clarke never wants to lose him ever.

Platonically of course because their attraction to each other has disappeared since s1... because you see that person and you’re like ‘lol nvm, ur not as hot as I remember 6 years ago when we were giving each other the looks™’ right? So you just watch them make out with their SO twice in canon to drive that point home. Especially when it’s your bff that you talked to everyday for 2199 days according to Flame!Madi who strutted right up to Bellamy, demanded he forgive C (lexa, is that you fighting in Clarke’s corner? 😭) before telling him something she ‘SHOULDN’t’ tell him?? Sorry Clarke, was this a private thing that Madi was privy to that she felt she shouldn’t expose or did you tell her not to mention it?? Madi said ‘she called YOU’ lol, like when is Madi gonna expose Clarke’s radio calls to Raven pls, I need the platonic princess mechanic relationship instantly restored like that! The radio call elixir: makes you soft for you bff and invite her to decide the fate of the human race as you always do (we genuinely love a platonic team!) despite the fact she left you to die 2 days ago for endangering her kid in the name of stopping the war, which she herself decided to later do after Lexa, her romantic soulmate, tells her not to make the same mistake she did because it would be her biggest regret. Lexa tells C don’t abandon your platonic pal™, love is not weakness and life should be about more than just surviving. Did Lexa say Bellarke rights, Clarke be happy and let yourself love him? No, Lexa wants BC to live like her and Clarke did in her bed? No, no, Lexa said ‘live like Clexa, but don’t have sex’? Yup that’s what happened. And C has the audacity to say ‘save him’ after giving her child permission to walk into a war zone and endanger her life like.. I prayed Lexa protects Madi yes pls.

Either way, let your bff know you love him! Say ‘bro, you kept me sane and I love you for that’- it’s easy gsjsjah why you making it so hard, girl?? Hug and move on, let’s go! There was a perfect opportunity around that fire where you instead wasted time saying ‘all of me for all of us’ to just B? (All of u is for all two of you huh? EVERY DAY for 2199 days huh?: It’s canon that Clarke Griffin after getting radiation roasted, decided to pick up her radio from the floor with her blistered hand that first day to try to call Bellamy, wanting to find out asap if he were alive... He didn’t respond and C had two choices they were alive or they were dead? Either way she said fuck it, Imma hope he’s alive and imma call Bellamy every day like the pal™ that I am, not even thinking like this: ‘imma talk to lexa bc she’s the love of my life and it’s literally just been 2-3 months since she got put in the flame and the flame is on Earth with me so I’m at peace.’ Like why wasn’t that canon instead?? Instead we got ‘I still have hope’ @ B 2199 days later.

The platonicness of Madi looking at Bellamy only and going ‘Clarke knew you would come’ and grabbing him by the hand like she’s his BFF? (that’s Clarke’s BFF Madi, get your own!) sorry but Madi has never met him in her life but she’s like ‘Clarke’s in trouble’ and suddenly B has been kidnapped by a kid. The rest of spacekru left alone in the forest to figure out their own shit bc B said ‘gtg save my bestie brb’ - NOT EVEN, he straight up left them stranded LMAO. (S6 in a nutshell tbh) Then Clarke in s6 has the audacity to look caught ™ when B casually brings radio calls up as friends would, he says it’s a lil pathetic and Clarke becomes the literal sun and B becomes the moon, shining all the laughs right back at her. Meanwhile, Clarke’s large ass pupils are drinking in all this HAPPINESS - not to reach but was that an example of life being more than just surviving? We actually have time for jokes and banter now? What’s funny is the fact that Jordan knew about the head and the heart convo from s4 because B must’ve told Monty/Harper somewhere between being on the ring and before going into cryo. Since s5 was canon of what happened between returning to earth and going into cryo, logic leads me to believe Bellamy talked to marper about the head and the heart on the ring. It’s funny how Bellamy still got emotional when she’s brought up 6 years after ‘her death’ (Clexa parallels anyone?) and funny how determined he is to honour Clarke’s last words (be the head so their friends survive) only to say ‘I don’t need you anymore’ under psychosis, is that a trauma I see? 👀 soz, did I miss the season Bellamy said he needed Clarke? Only Clarke says the word need (‘I need you’, ‘we need each other, Bellamy’) unless that’s what he meant when he said ‘you got it backwards’ (@ Jaha saying you keep her centered)or when he whispered ‘I’ve got you for that’ or when he shouted ‘I CAN’T lose Clarke... we can’t lose her’. Either way, I love platonic soulmates that need each other.

(Randomly just remembered when B had that nice pal talk with Wells about how Clarke never sees him when Finn’s around, lolll what?? Weirdo. BC parallels with Wells and Clarke? Yes pls)

Tell your bff you love them challenge ft. Clarke who said ‘u look fine today, sad boy so I’mma look you over from the tips of ur toes to the top of ur head platonically then tell you you’re special and that your sis will come around’ and B who canonically says ‘Clarke, if I don’t see you again-‘ only for Clarke to be like ‘you WILL’ before B even finished his sentence - it’s rude to interrupt your friends when they’re talking Clarke! He was only gonna say ‘may we meet again’ anyway bc for some reason y’all bffs don’t canonically say ‘I love you [bro]’ and maybe B knows it’s because you hate I love yous and don’t say it unless you think it’s goodbye forever.

It’s in how Clarke puts Bellamy at the same level as Madi and cannot face Bellamy in her mind space, despite him being alive, because she thinks that he thinks she’s a monster - she cannot see her platonic pal’s love, I love that trope. It’s in how Clarke says ‘I’m not leaving you’ because her biggest regret was leaving B in the pits (but also the time she left him after MW) and it’s in how Bellamy says ‘I won’t let you die’ after letting her die twice now, I call that growth. So J mocks their weird relationship and B is like ‘lols I know’. He has a girlfriend who lied to him about her past during the 6 uninterrupted years they spent on the ring and he starts an argument with her seemingly out of nowhere (after watching Clarke dance with the doctor) and lying that at the last party he was at, he couldn’t protect his sister when we damn well know that the last party he was at was Jasper’s, does echo not know about Jasper? Did no one (Bellamy) tell her? He didn’t have to say ‘the last party I was at’ he could’ve easily said ‘at the party on Ark’. The way he even said this sounded like he was telling Echo for the first time what happened to his sister... they didn’t talk about the reason he ended up on the ground whilst on the ring huh? When Echo says something reasonable, he snaps that this is about feelings and that he never knows how she feels about anything... sounds like he’s projecting but I’m not going to tell you how to interpret it. Then when Echo opens up about her past, B says ‘you told me you didn’t remember your parents’. I love watching becho development because it’s clear how becho are not as compatible as we would’ve thought. (My headcanon up until s6 for them was that they connected over their similar childhoods and responsibility to their people and share the burden of the sins they’ve committed to live and grow together whilst finding peace in each other)

(This is just a snippet of how I see BC and I have no reason to be biased towards it. In fact, during s2-3 I actively made myself ship Clexa more than I shipped BC because I wanted that win for lgbt rep - yes, my mind is that extra that even without social media influence on my binge viewing experience, I felt that Clexa deserved E V E R Y T H I N G so believe me when I say I didn’t want this blarke life 🙃)

Everyone is agreed that they have an awesome non-sexual soulmate love? Yes? I admit, they COULD be platonic, depending on your definition of sexuality. Platonic is defined as ‘love or friendship that is affectionate/intimate but not sexual’.

If Clarke died next ep, bellarke will be remembered as platonic by those that believe sexual acts are what make a relationship romantic and remembered as romantic by those that infer sexual chemistry/feelings/thoughts in certain bellarke scenes.

Imo, it’s not logical to believe sexuality is only physical: it goes against basic common sense in that people would only be considered straight/gay/bi etc. at the point of their first sexual encounter and dating relationships would be platonic until the first sexual act within it.

Personally, I think romantic relationships arise with intention: the shared understanding of what you are offering each other (sexual acts included) and how you prioritise your person over all other humans.

It’s not crude to appreciate the intricacy of physical attraction or understand the implications of it driving the need to be as intimate as possible with someone. And the problem with bellarke is that there IS sexual chemistry and attraction. It’s established in season 1 and it’s made headlines - not that you should care- but both types of people (that would now consider bellarke platonic and those that wouldn’t) probably picked up on it because this aspect of their relationship was planned and written into the story. Longing and pining to just BE with someone is the pinnacle of romance and not only is it canon that bellarke look at each other with humongous pupils, it is also canon (through writing, direction and music) that bellarke prioritise each other, are extremely vulnerable to each other, always want to be ‘together’ do things ‘together’ no matter what. So I’m failing to understand why people don’t want to look at all the evidence and draw the clear conclusion: Bellarke tick every box for a romantic relationship except sexual acts and I think it’s a disservice to not recognise the reality of them as the epic love story that they are. Let’s not even mention the possibility that the reason they haven’t ticked that box is because they have given themselves over to their people in selfless duty or continued trauma from lost lovers.

I’m gonna conclude by saying I ship Clexa and Bellarke but with what’s going on in the story rn, bellarke are it for me. I’d say endgame but it could all change if there’s narrative to suggest otherwise. What I see happening by the end of the series is lexa being back (in what capacity idk) and either Clexa or Bellarke being party to the ‘I will love you forever but I will learn to love someone else so that we can chersish the relationship we have for what it is, not what it has been or what it could be, and be happy together forever’ while the other is canon endgame. Or maybe be by the series finale we’ll get endgame polygamy? - Now that’s edgy af! But those are best case scenarios lol.

Realistically, atleast one of BC are gonna die, Lexa will be brought back as Alycia but not into the real world (unless we get plot that finally exposes the mental space realm??? That sounds fucking dope tbh - they’ve been teasing alternate realities this whole damn show and what is more sci-fi than that? It would also incorporate the flame and Jason loves the flame and Clexa love the flame so??? Anyone wanna hire me as a writer?) and there’s endless possibilities really so I’m conflicted between hoping that Book 2 is less about tragedy/survival and more about happiness/life and knowing that hope for the 100 is offbrand and too much of a reach, with the evidence that we have but the writers could easily get us all there, man. I’m excited!

mkay one more song headcanon type post before I get cracking on replies since I wanted to talk about [ Prologue / the Day I Got Expelled ] a bit since it is the opening song to the musical and we get a really nice synopsis --- so I guess people who don’t know pjo but are following me anywho, here’s a nice start !!! kinda. the song is pretty good about following the start of book 1 so why not ( x ) --- this is really long don’t mind me I’m including all the lyrics whoops :0 [ I’m even including a link to book 1 if you want ]

the beginning of the song is a little interesting since, unlike the book, it has a more general introduction. in this case the introduction focuses on demigods in general !!! as you can see in the lyrics below the show throws you right into “hello there’s Greek gods, they have children, we kinda have a lot of problems because of it” which, in all honesty, is not wrong for the series ( for those of you who don’t know the pjo background stuff ).

so I don’t know who reading this knows the whole Percy Jackson and the Olympians background sorta thing, but the premise is Percy is the narrator writing the books later in life as a guide of sorts for later demigods. he straight up says at the beginning of the Lightning Thief that most people reading it will think it a work of fiction --- he calls those people lucky. Percy then proceeds to warn about any demigod who might be reading it as the books will put them in danger. interesting way to start the series... ANYWAY as you can seen above the musical ( while still focusing in on Percy and his story ) includes a broader greeting. Percy at this point in the musical has no clue he’s a demigod or anything that’s going to happen, this sets the scene for the other demigods we meet later and how their stories factor in and how Percy’s is going to grow. “it’s time you heard our side of the story” not mine not yours, ours. the musical is a collective voice that Percy is not narrating, he’s not even our guide this time, he’s watching and learning like the rest of us. 

I see this first set as really showing that the musical is going to be a more outside view then inside view which, in turn, lets us see and understand more about how Percy is viewed from another person. this isn’t his self evaluation...

then Percy himself takes over to start us off ( I would assume to match the well known beginning of the books because this does not happen at any other point in the musical ). he sets the scene and the show takes off from there.

as is seen in the books, Percy states this is not what he wants. Percy wants to be normal ( as shown in other songs ). pulled this image from [ Pinterest ] but it shows the first line of every booK --- we’re gonna crop it here for length purposes:

we start off this series with Percy straight up saying none of this was under his control. the musical reiterates that fact in a way the movie just.... brushes over. Percy isn’t in it for the glory or fame or anything, he is just a kid making the best of a situation he does not choose.

then as I said on [ last night’s post ] the following line really smacks on the head Percy’s whole idea of being a hero. he does not want to be a hero. he does not enjoy the spotlight, does not like people telling stories of “what he has done” ( which I will not get into right now ) and most especially does not like people putting him on any kind of pedestal. he’s a kid who is doing the best he can and just wants a normal life where he doesn’t spend every day wondering if he’ll live through it. these are all things put on him by others.

as I said right above this --- Percy just wants to keep living his life to the best he can and not die some horrible gruesome monster related death just because he “smells” so strongly to the monsters nearby. for the non pjo people out there, demigods can’t use any from of electronic device without broadcasting their location. for a demigod like Percy this means no phone, nothing that runs on the internet ( being as that’s a broadcasting wavelength ) and the like. he just wants to spend more then a few months at each school and prove he’s worth something. 

and don’t even get me started ont he “I’m less a player and more the played” line because I could talk for hours on the fact he’s basically the gods little puppet they expect to do as they want when they want --- just let him have his own life ??? I fell like that’s not to much to ask ESPECIALLY considering current canon points. I just remember hearing this line for the first time and wanting to just strangle them all since my boy deserves more.

I don’t know if maybe I’m reading to much into it ( lmao ) but this is one of those times something Percy says strikes me as “I did nothing wrong but fully expected to be blamed” which brb need to cry my eyes out. it’s stated that he has had issues in school and with authority figures, it’s stated that on his record / etc he’s marked down as a problem kid. I know not all teachers are like this but for Percy everything he did was scrutinized and, should he even toe the line a little, he’d get in trouble for it. these lyrics show a bit into how he doesn’t expect much ??? and has given up trying almost. it’s like “they’re gonna blame me anyway, what does it matter?” kinda thing. which is a disastrous thing to tell a kid since this is the mentality he’ll have for the rest of his life --- if no one shows any form of believing in you then why should you believe in yourself ???

I didn't really get the story at least it wasn't boring, as I'd feared but is it me, or is Greek mythology not deeply weird

okie dokie so I know I cropped a good portion of this out ( mainly be the dialogue between the singing --- I linked the song above from my dropbox and included my lyrics writing so you’re welcome to listen to / look at it ) but this is really our --- both us and Percy’s --- introduction and foreshadowing to what’s coming up. as anyone who has read the books / reads my headcanons knows the first big war in canon is the Titan War against Kronos and his rising army. this piece is a literal foreshadowing. Percy is in this situation due to a prophecy he is entirely unaware of that is causing gods / monsters / etc to react. Chiron is basically trying to make sure he knows what’s going on for when Percy, inevitably, ends up at camp. specially considering all the summer solstice bullcrap. me, incoherently yelling from every rooftop.

[ pb&j dialogue --- that bit where it’s in Grovers hair ] Percy: Grover, you are a good friend. Grover: aawww! dude, I'm your only friend. Mrs. Dodds: Percy Jackson!

I saw something out of Mrs. Dodds' frown the day it all got weird the day I got expelled

[ that dialogue bit where Mrs. Dodds calls Percy away and turns into one of the furies and then Mr. Brunner ( Chiron ) gives Percy the sword pen to fight her off ]

honestly this is the bit with the fighting but I wanna draw attention to that line from Grover. it’s a lighthearted comment following a series of dialogue where the both of them reference being bullied by a girl named Nancy Bobofit --- Grover took a pb&j to the head so it didn’t meet Percy’s face --- but it highlights some stuff I’ve already stated ( here and other headcanon posts ). Percy, throughout all the school’s he’s been to, has never fit in and has stopped trying to. he is the target of bullies. remember that Percy at this age is small and scrawny !!! he is not the grown demigod we know currently !!! no one wants to befriend the new guy and school reject --- he spends most of his life alone. now I could bring up all kinds of statistics on kids who grow up with anxiety and other things based on how they were treated as kids but I think you get the idea. this whole interaction eludes to a much broader and long lasting issue...

ummm... I didn't know what just had happened was that all a creepy, crazy dream my teacher was a creature then she vanished in the ether with a demon scream

the next thing that I knew I was where detention was held the day it all got real the day I got-

Percy: expelled!? Chiron: I tried Percy, but the headmaster stands firm in his decision. you were supposed to stay with the group and this was your final warning Percy: but it wasn't my fault it was Mrs. Dodds! she lured me away, she attacked me and... you saw it Chiron: did I? Percy: and you gave me that pen only it wasn't a pen it was a sword and... what? Grover: Percy, we've never had a teacher named Mrs. Dodds Chiron: perhaps its for the best, this wasn't the place for you. it was only a matter of time before- Percy: I got kicked out? Chiron: that was not what I was going to say- Percy: you think I'm trouble just like everyone else Chiron: no! but, that is to say, I can only accept the best from you Percy. someday you'll understand why. I'm truly sorry Percy: ya, well, I'm sorry I let you down Grover: maybe he's right, you never fit in at this school anyway. you're not exactly- Percy: normal? Grover: exactly! ( laughs ) I mean, umm... I'll see ya on the bus

now I could just reiterate everything I have said elsewhere on this post but instead I’ll focus on the highlighted bits ( and ignore the whole normal / accepted thing ). I know what they’re trying to do here is the best for him --- since in pjo canon if a demigod is aware of who / what they are they become bigger targets --- but the way its handled rubs me so the wrong way. they basically are telling Percy he can’t trust his own eyes / mind / whatever. like ??? as if he didn’t have enough problems ( as if weird things haven’t happened before ) they’re trying to play it off as his imagination. boy, I don’t know about you but it makes me think about the fact Percy probably spent a while full on not trusting himself or anything around him because people told him something that happened --- that did actually happen --- wasn’t real. which, then knowing how not even five years later the Tartarus thing happens, makes me feel horrible. Percy isn’t given the option to trust anything because it might not be real. people keep telling him he’s making stuff up --- there’s no one who trusts him that he feels comfortable talking to.

so if you think you are a halfblood better get headed to the exits now cause folks will think you're lyin better run and don't start cryin cause you're monster chow

to close out this ridiculously long post ( thank you to anyone who read it all the way through, like mad props ) cause I just want to touch on how conflicting this last bit is. Percy is asking for you to listen to him / his story and learn from it BUT he’s also stating no one listens --- people always think he’s lying. so which is it ??? clearly he’s trying to maybe reach out again ( trying to help others in his same situation ) but he doesn’t really think anyone is going to listen to what he has to say on anything. makes me wonder how much “writing the books” is actually for him instead of other people. like, maybe a way to let him know this was all real. it did happen and he did survive it. like, Percy has some of ( if not the ) worst dyslexia in canon. now, I don’t know about you but writing a book for others when you can barely make out letters ??? sounds a little suspect. I don’t know, this last bit just makes me wonder his real methods behind sharing his story in the first place...

Hey guys in this post I’m gonna talk about each song on @taylorswift album Lover. I’ll talk about my thoughts on each song and give you my favorite lyric/line so let’s begin.

I’ve been through every era with Taylor, heard all the songs of heartbreak and while she’s had love songs before none of them where like this. This is a love song in which you can tell how truly in love and happy she is and that warms my heart because I love this woman and only ever want to her to be happy and know how special she is.

I sat in the car for 15 minutes crying to this song because of how much I can relate. 6 years ago on March 12th, 2013 I lost my grandmother to lung cancer and it completely broke me because she was my best friend and my favorite person to talk to. My feelings towards my memaw are no different then Taylor’s for her mom. This song is so personal to her and her family and I want to take this moment to thank them for sharing this song with us.

Episode #6: “"NOT ANYMOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE" - Big Z

Even though I misplayed my idol, I cannot believe that my incessant need for wanting Toby gone actually fucking worked. Like. I will be taking the credit for this one because I just fed it to my peoples and had Loris know about it and just controlled his emotional vulnerability. I would have been good without having the idol either... so wig- I fucked up on that end but WOWZA it feels good to actually lead a vote, see the vote go the way you want, and have my target argue with someone who HE thinks started this revolution. In the middle of the challenge, so this confessional will have to be brief. I can definitely WIN this challenge, but I do question if that's the best for my game. The other tribe had a unanimous 6-1 vote, so now it's an even 3-3 split over there.

If we win, it's possible that either they'll go to rocks, or one of the Revati's will flip to save themselves? (Because it's unlikely the Auva are dumb enough to flip on one-another since that'd give us majority in the merge.)

However our tribe is currently a 3-2-2 split, and while I don't THINK the two sets of two are working together, I can't eliminate the possibility that they'd gang up on us to eliminate one of us and evening the numbers for the merge.

It's difficult to say where this whole tribe will end up shaking down, but I'm hoping to avoid Tribal if I can help it. The less Tribal Councils I go to, the more options I have going into merge because I won't have necessarily hurt any feelings by voting a particular way.

Well, I crushed the challenge, scoring all 5 points on my tribe, everyone was talking about how I carried them... which already has me worried given my history of being labelled a challenge beast after only having one good challenge.

But at the very least no tribal, I'm curious if we'll be merging at 12 or if it'll be some other number. Guess I'll know soon enough, but it's nice to have a break for a bit, and I think I'm doing pretty well on bonding with others so as to better my position.

Dylan still never talks to me. So ideally he'll be gone soonish, either by us losing the next challenge or him serving as an early merge boot. But even if he sticks around I doubt it'll be a major problem.

MY HOPE, for the other tribe is to send home Drew or Roxy (preferably Drew since I know Roxy and can work with that I think), to split up that Power-Pair as Drew was a fool for spoiling that. I don't really care who goes so long as the Revati's stay, and if we DO lose

Sometimes I get confused about which day we’re on, so hopefully it’s day 14 lmao. The other tribe snatched Toby & I’m not surprised. Auva didn’t just make a mistake that will hinder themselves, but it will also affect what’s left of og Zosma. The Auvacados could’ve worked with Toby to start taking down Revati, but it would seem that they’re still out for vengeance. Toby was setup to be in a swing position, of course he’s gonna feel out both sides before choosing one. Now Auva is split with 3 on each side & I don’t see any of them flipping, unless og Auva is gullible again. Drew T. didn’t trust Revati either because he wasted an idol on himself even though Toby voted in favor of him. Flops.

Kori is legitimately a godsend. He c a r r i e d Revati in the challenge by scoring all 5 points that we needed to win. He says that he focused hard & waited for the messages to pop up which mind you were separated by intervals of several minutes in the span of 4 hours. Kori is a very humble dude & tries to downplay his capabilities, but he’s the GOAT. Maybe even the shield I needed. :O

I’m not too worried about Dani at this point in time. If Revati happens to lose then she would probably be the easiest to turn people against. Everyone participated in the music video challenge while she was the only one that did not, and she has a habit of sitting out. Sam told me that she hasn’t talked to him since the day we blindsided Louise & I’ve gotten the same treatment. Since I’m “dead to her”, I think that making a move against Dani pre-merge would benefit me in the long run. This would also change everyone’s perception of Sam and I to being non-threatening come merge as we don’t have the number

tea time sisters! toby was a king but was a threat and I have to see the benefits in him going. this tribal is going to be eventful I think... because I think I’m getting votes because roxy seems to really want me gone??? but i have a plan that I think will work :))))) I tell John to vote out drew t or roxy and I say that I know he doesn’t really want to vote out drew h so I’ll settle and sacrifice for drew t. if he’s fine with voting roxy then I tell him that I think I can get drew t to vote her too, and then we can vote him out next, when in reality we’ll vote out drew h next. if he wants to vote drew t now then I tell him me and z will do it too when hopefully z will vote out roxy with me and drew t instead because roxy is trying to get one of us out. ezpz . In fact we could even vote drew h. it’s all tea. I really hope z and John are loyal to me, I think z will be, and I think I can just play with me saying I trust you to John over and over. cute!!!! Soooooo half of this tribe is just completely inactive during the most important hours of this game prior to tribal. It’s SO FRUSTRATING because even if I want to make some sort of strategy with them it’ll take them at least 2-3 hours to reply to me. I cannot do this for too long. The other issue is that people are sooooo hesitant to throw names out, and when you do throw a name out literally EVERYONE hears that you started it and it gets turned on you. That happened to me when I said John’s name once to Roxy last tribal. I worry it’s about to happen to Loris suggesting Roxy too. We’ll see how it plays out, if I end up dying I’ll at least go on an active note rather than an inactive one.

ok so I think me and Ci'ere are bonding, which wow I never imagined that I would have a social game. I still haven't messaged Dani or Kori which is something I should do. The fact that they haven't messaged me, coupled with the fact that I'm alone on this tribe cements the fact that I am the obvious vote. Brb let me try to make connections.

SO we lost again, and my broken phone prevented me from participating in the challenge. Looking at this based on the challenge I should be leaving, buuuut I am going to be voting big Z out tonight, and because the auvas don't want rocks, they are going to do what I want. I have wanted this guy out from a game standpoint from the very beginning, but once you throw my name out there it's very hard to get back on my good side. Loris is going to be annoyed with me I am sure, he was trying to manipulate the situation between us but I could see right through the whole thing. I had a call with Roxy and she made an alliance with us and the two drews. She seemed to be worried that I would want to stick with loris and Z but I knew immediately what I wanted to do. I am really hoping that a merge will happen next, and that this move will not deeply affect me right away.
