What is a fandom event if not procrastinating to do it in favor of discussing HCs?

Okay but this is a very difficult question indeed. I think both work but it would be two different AUs (like the little mermaid one). I think i have a suggestion for angles in both ways and you can choose what you’re more in the mood for:

Martin i think matches more the beast because of how impulsive and angry-driven he can be, but also he’s a big softy inside and just wants to be loved etc. But now he lost his good looks and all that is in his exterior is his worst impulses and tendencies, without the charm (bc yk its hard to be charming while looking like a monster). Lulu on the other hand is the beautiful villager everyone likes, but we know his a little devil at heart and finds that life boring and lacking on thrill. So i think as AUs go this one is closer to the source material in their personalities and motivations. I like it specially because i like when martin is very openly angry and hotheaded lol plus we get him figuring out true love they grow closer

With luciano as the beast i think we can go a little differently, and have martin be also a dear jock to the villagers, but one who sees himself as a sort of protector to these people, their knight in a shiny armor, so when he hears someone (doesn’t even need to be his family) has been captured by a horrible beast he’s the first to take his horse and ride to the castle to save the person, whatever that costs. He goes expecting a fight but is presented with a totally different type of self-sacrifice, which is of course to trade his life for the person. Lulu as the beast i think wouldn’t seem as angry, but scary in a quieter way. So their dynamic might be a little different, maybe martin would try to escape more times or even try to kill him a few times in the start, and only warm up to him as he finds out pieces of truth about him.

We can also go on totally different directions in any of these, I’m just sharing some inicial thoughts to get this au going :D

It's OK, I have no concrete proofs of this (I do have a book about this but who knows where it is) but I'm certain Lu thought Tincho wanted him dead too ♥ The Mr. Sunshine façada was a disguise but also a protective armor, cause if people couldn't see his real emotions then they couldn't use it against him, especially his arch-enemy :D

Hahahahahahaha HOW CAN YOU SUGGEST that I'm biased and in love with Tincho and projecting it on Lu!! "I hate him but fuck he's so hot" is exactly how Luciano felt about Tincho, trying very hard to focus on how annoyed Tincho made him but getting distracted by how wide his shoulders are and things like that. I think Luci would slowly catch more and more feelings and try to tell himself it's not true lol so if Tincho is suddenly sweeter towards him his brain will implode ♥

Hi Oxi! I'm here cause through the years our fandom has discussed and explore the BrArg rivalry a lot but I feel we don't talk enough about them playing together. (Been watching some football youtube and I'm sentimental now). 1/3

I feel these two could work so well (Looking at Ney/Messi and Dinho/Messi). I dare guess this could be how the sexual tension from their rivalry could culminate in some scenarios. With their undeniable chemistry together in and off the pitch.  2/3

I'm not even an expert about football or anything but I've even been thinking what possitions they'd play, who their style would be the most like? For example, I think Tincho would be great but I don't think he'd play just like Messi or even Diego (I don't think I see Tincho being left-footed and him being tall may also be interfering lol). Maybe more like Batigol? IDK, I do think he'd be a 9 and Lucho the 10 maybe? 3/3

Before getting into some football discussion, I wanna disclaimer that even if I’m a hardcore Argentina NT fan, I don’t care about National Leagues and that makes me a little green in general terms. So, hablemos sin saber, anon, HERE GOES NOTHING.

I think you made a very interesting point with the player positions. I agree and I do think Luciano is a perfect 10; he’s deviously smart and sneaky and you know he’s the kind of prayer who’d infuriate defenders as he breaks havoc among enemy lines, dancing around them and always finding a way to slip through and shoot towards the goal.

But I've always struggled a little with Martín’s position. I think Tincho is 10 material, ngl. Dinho is even taller than Tinchito and he’s a legendary 10, so don’t count Martín out just for his height, anon! But I see where you’re going suggesting a 9, especially if we’re indulging in a scenario where both Lulu and Tincho are playing together and can’t both be the 10.

I personally don’t like a 9 for Martín - it might be my football inexperience speaking but I feel it lacks a little bit of agency over the game as a whole. Lacks charm and magic to me, I don’t think Martín’s just a striker, yk? And here I’d like us to entraint what will probably be a bit of a controversial idea: how about Martín being a midfielder? You say Batistuta and Di María, but how about Mascherano or De Paul?

Here, allow me to make my case with the help of wikipedia: “Midfielders provide a link between defense and attack. They offer an additional line of defense when the team is under attack, and they have a key role initiating attacks as they can be sometimes described as ‘playmakers’. Midfielders are always busy in a game and are often therefore described as the engine room of the team.”

I think this restless flexible role really fits Martín, who he is overbearing and domineering and downright restless. Martín would totally be the sort of player who’s all over the field trying to get the game to go his way. He will be pushing forward always on the attack, but I think he would fall back and go after a lost ball as well. Martín is aggressive and competitive, lethal and perfect for attack, but he also is very fierce and doesn’t give up which are traits I think make him good defense. He attack, he defend, but most important he makes sure the ball goes wherever he wants it to be. I like this flexible role that just allows him to do whatever the hell he wants, I feel it suits rebellious loose-cannon Martín very well to be a little bit of everything and all over the place and not have just one defined role. He’s free to just be wherever he feels he is needed.

I also really like this “playmaker” role for him. It allows him to be strategic and creative, traits shared with a 10! That’s where true magic happens; the thing with big players isn’t just about their footwork but also their quick clever minds. Additionally, this concept of “engine of the team” really fits him, yk?

Now, as perfect as I think he’s for the role, here my problem with midfielder!Martín: no matter how good a midfielder might be, they don't take the spotlight the way strikers do, and I do think that's an issue for someone with Martín's ridiculous ego. Knowing him and how dangerous his football skills are and how much of a diva Tincho is, I think he needs to be a striker, a showman, the star of the team.

So now I’m back at where I started: I have no idea where to put Tinchito if I’m not giving him the 10 :D

I just wanted to tell you I read the 1st CaPri book in like 2 days, and the whole reason I even got to finally buying that book and reading it (despite of years of hearing good things about it) was your BrArg CaPri inspired fic. This is also the first time I bought BL novels and online (together with 2 other novels from other authors) so thanks and count on me to talk about this now that I can fully appreciate both the fic and CaPri in their differences and similarties

Roommate AU + Curses with Brarg ♥

Martín is a young adult who just graduated from college and with a salary that corresponds to it. So, obviously, he is looking for a cheap place to live, preferably with a roommate so he can pay even less. As one does.

He is looking every single day for apartments, he is talking with old friends from college that know about an empty place or something and the apartment hunt seems to be fruitless until a friend of a friend remembers about an old acquaintance and etc etc that is renting a room in his apartment. And at a very — very — low price. Too low, to be honest, but Martín knows the neighbourhood it’s in, so it’s all right. Right?

So they set up a date to meet and discuss the legal aspects of the whole thing, and Martín sympathizes with Luciano right away. Luciano is very welcoming and friendly, and they agree with a lot of aspects about sharing an apartment and when Martín mentions the very low rent Luciano laughs it off and just says the apartment is very old and the landlord is very… uh… understanding about the downsides that can come with an old state, you know? But nothing to worry about, Luciano says with a slightly forced smile and Martín agrees because it’s a forced smile yes but still very charming. Luciano is very charming, he thinks. And beautiful. And well built. And–

Martín is human, no one can judge him.

Anyway, he remembers all of this, on a very beautiful day, when he sees a glass cup fly across the room out of the blue against him, missing his face by centimeters if not less. He also remembers all of this when he listens to Luciano awkwardly try to explain that the apartment is… well… maybe they have a third roommate, let’s put it like that. A third, very angry, very noisy and very dead roommate.

Now, what I can’t decide is if the ghost haunts the house or if the ghost haunts Luciano. The fact is that the ghost was dormant until Luciano one day, feeling lonely and sad after arriving in the city with no friends or people that he knew, and after one or two (or three, or four…) drinks tried to summon some company with a recitation he found on the internet, hoping he would receive some “Casper, the friendly ghost” type of company. But got some poltergeist shit instead because he meddled with some curse the old owner of the apartment set on the place after a inheritance fight or something like that.

Luciano is lucky that Martín thinks his smile is charming, beautiful and that he is so well built.

Soo @disaster-fruit wanted some brarg domestic hcs, and I can’t turn down some nice hc discussion so here we are :D Most of my hcs are usually incorporated in my fics so idk how new any of these will truly be, but here we go

I think both Lu and Tincho are very singy and dancy (Martín particularly the former, Lulu particularly the later). When they’re home alone, any excuse is good to give each a little whispered serenade or to take them dancing. The kitchen is their fave dancefloor.

Lulu is an early bird, and Martín is pretty much the opposite of it. So I like to hc Lulu always is the first to leave bed and get his day started. During work days he just lets Martín do his own routine at his own time (which usually is him staying in bed as long as possible and getting up to wash his face, take a piss, brush his teeth, take some bite to go and leave, quick as that). During weekends tho, when Lulu considers is about time Martín got up, he wakes him up with kisses, whispered sweetnesses and the promise of breakfast. It takes a little insistence, since Tincho’d very much rather continue sleeping and have Lu join him back in bed, but at this point Lu’s got practice and is immune to sleepy Tincho’s tactics.

Lulu drinks mate. He doesn’t make it and normally wouldn’t be his first pick (coffee supremacy for Lu), but I think it is unavoidable concidering his neighbours and his bf. Mate is a social drink and it’s not like he’s unfamiliar with it, so he does enjoy sharing a round with Tincho (or Dani or Sebas, for the matter).

Lulu is Martín’s official coffee machine. Tincho enjoys coffee a lot, but Lulu can’t stand the shitty brands he normally has around in his kitchen, they’re having GOOD coffee while he’s around. Tincho is fine with it, he lets Lulu pick and make the coffee. He wont turn down good coffee after all.

Lulu is a clothes-thief, as we’ve already stablished. Particularly during winter. He also hogs the blankets during chilly nights. In order for Martín to remain warm as well, cuddling is required: Lu won’t share, Martín will have to slip inside his little warm cacoon.

I like to hc Lulu is the one in charge of cooking most of the time. I think Tinchito is a little bit lazy, he’s more than happy to sit back and let Lulu deliver delicious meals. That being said, it isn’t rare for Martín to cook: he likes it and is good at it but he needs to be in the mood. Unless they’re having beef, in that case he is the self-proclaimed beef expert and thus knows better.

Both have the habit of walking around the house without shirts during summer – tho Lulu takes the Scantily Dressed Award ‘cause unlike Tincho who doesn’t wear anything shorter than mid-thigh, Lu’s got a nice assortment of scandalously small shorty-shorts. I’ll add as a plus that during winter Tincho likes to wear slippers and socks inside the house like a grandpa, sue him.

Idk if it was Mate or Dan on twitter, but they came up with the hc these two dorks like to pretend they don’t know each other and flirt as if they were trying to pick up a cute stranger. I think it’s a very fun and cute game ngl

I can’t help to imagine Martín likes to buy Lulu little treats whenever he/they go out. Kioskos are HIGHLY common in Argentina, you’ll get one or two every block, and they mainly sell sweets. I hc that Martín is the kind to stop by kioskos and buy sweets and treats he brings back to Lulu. He particularly likes to spoil Lu during Argentinean cold winters, when his bf is especially grumpy.

Maybe something we can discuss on brarg Sunday if you want but I’m sending the ask now anyway because I don’t want to forget: rereading my fic made me remember that brigerton AU with Luciano and Tiana fake dating and Martin being very against what seemed like a good marriage for his sister, because of his secret past history with lulu, and I’m just thinking that would be a great au to expand someday 👀

It’s a very fun AU I’d love to turn back to actually! I sadly don’t have much more than I already share with the world, but I wouldn’t mind building up the AU as a community~

For the brarg backstory I kinda had this idea that Martín and Luciano idk maybe went to the same school? College? Idk but they had their rivalry and a very intense UST that maybe lead to one kiss/night of passion that left them very conflicted and confused about their feelings. They didn’t talk about it, just parted ways and thought “Well at least I won’t ever see his annoying gorgeous face ever again so I won’t have to think about this again!”. Except not :)

I also have this vague idea of Fem!Chile being Martín’s BFF. Manu is a broke lesbian defying society’s expectations on women, refusing to marry a man, living by her own, providing for herself. She writes the most beautiful love poems, but nobody wants to buy them ‘cause well she’s a woman and people don’t respect her as a writer even if she’s brilliant. So she makes a living out of gossip columns and erotica. Her source for both is Tinchito, who spills all of high class’ scandals and rumours for her to publish, and who also shamelessly shares his gay affairs with her as she takes notes so she can then sell them to horny high class women who are very into this mysterious writer’s scandalous sexy homoerotica.

Tincho likes to crash at her place (a little lowlife apartment) to hang and drink and smoke and be unapologetically gay together. He has read every piece of erotica featuring him that Manu has ever written, and usually gives her an earful if she portrays him as anything less but utterly charming. He has also read her poems and is a fan of those too, but he plays aloof cause he wants to keep his cool which is pointless since Manu already knows he is a hopeless romantic.

I thought 'oh this discussion will probably be a short one, how much is there to talk about sucking dick after all' and apparently i was WRONG

unfortunately i dont have much to add and i dont disagree with anything substantial so i'll just ramble my thoughts on what you said. I really agree that martin sees sex as somewhat a big deal, he's kinda the opposite of luciano's casual approach to it. I like to think one-night stands and casual flings are very very rare for him, he's more to have romantic affairs - even if he isn't in LOVE most of those times (or if its the kind of flame that burns really fast and then its done), it is still a romantic connection to some level, but that doesn't mean he feels the same level of trust and comfort with every lover. So even here he'll continue to be picky and only do it when he particularly feels like doing THAT and not anything else, and even his *cof* dearest love *cof* whoever that is *cof* doesn't get head all that often.

I don't think you've mentioned before (at least not anywhere i saw) that he did things he didn't like bc he wanted to keep up with more experienced lovers, though i do remember you mentioning in our talk about bottoming of him having past bad experiences that kinda turned him off of some things. Unfortunately doing stuff he's not comfortable with just to "prove a point" and show he's not inexperienced and green (which he WAS at this point) does sound very like him specially when he was younger smh. I think martin definitely has a praise kink, but sometimes i'd try to add verbal reassurance and it'd just not work or feel wrong bc i kept thinking martinho would get very ANNOYED very quickly depending on the wording. Saying he's beautiful gorgeous wonderful that he feels great etc works, but saying that oh he's doing so well and things like that doesn't. And to end this small dirty talk tangent it really is point him and luciano are very in tune, bc i see lulu as being not just loud and vocal but also talking a lot with almost no filter - so he'll just go off about whatever is going through his mind, which is very often genuine praise about martin being beautiful and amazing and how much he loves him, and it sounds as sincere as it is and thus not condescending at all. It is just the kind of praise martin likes

I will stan that Tinchito is picky about giving head, and I have three main reasons for this hc:

My first reason is related to Martín not being as confident as he comes across. He acts as if he believes he is the best damn thing around to the point that even he buys his own act, yes, but he struggles with self-worth. Martín’s big ego comes from his insecurities; it’s him shutting them down by stubbornly reminding himself of past greatness and his unexploited potential, two things he whole-heartedly believes in. Now by this I don’t mean to imply his confidence is fake, he is an egocentric asshole, but it is forced in a way since Martín doesn’t know how to quit. He is proud, strong, and likes to be in control, or in worst-case scenario likes to at least pretend so. Now, having your head between someone’s legs is kinda of a vulnerable position, one in which it’s very easy to suddenly lose this sense of control if your lover decides to take over and have their way. And I think this is one where Martín struggles with it, he doesn’t like to feel he is not in control here, he doesn’t like to feel used, to feel disposable, to feel like a thing. Sex for him is an intimate act that requires respect. In order to yield power and control, he’d have to really and truly trust his partner, he’d have to be certain they respect him and that he is being be cared for.

My second reason is related to that one hc I had about Martín having past bad experiences about sex. Being looked down upon has always burnt Martín’s pride, and I hc past Tinchito really wanted to prove he was a Big Boy during his first decades as a new nation. He wanted to prove his worth for everyone to see, and I think this also extended to sex, a department in which he was not very experienced. As (I think?) I’ve said before, I think that for the sake of keeping up with some former more-experienced lovers, he might have done things he wasn’t ready to do. In a way, I hc he felt challenged and just really wanted to prove a point, was worried his lovers might consider him green and virginal if he refused to certain practices, so he didn’t. He pushed himself into doing certain things he should have waited to do for when he was ready and truly wanted to try them. As time went by, Martín’s character seasoned and he decided he’d be the one to measure his own worth (spoilers: he decided he was fucking great no matter what) and he’d have nothing to prove to anyone. As thus, he also decided he would never again do anything he didn’t feel like doing.

Lastly, as we’ve discussed before, I don’t think Tincho finds dicks particularly pretty or alluring. Mind you, I’m not implying he finds them gross; he has a dick of his own and hey no part of him is ugly in his book, and anyways he ain’t no straight man so of course he highly approves of D. But dick’s are kinda funny looking and ridiculous the more you look at them. Also bj are not something very graceful to perform, the more you think about it in theory the more awkward it becomes (as it happens when you overthink many things tbh). So I don’t think he sees the appeal in the act perse.

Now the next part of the question, when would he feel like giving head? Well, firstly, I don’t think he’s one to perform oral on random strangers. Maybe if his lover has already done it for him and he feels particularly generous as to return the favour, but it has to come from within him, it cannot be asked or implied. If he ever so slightly feels he is being pressured into it, or doesn’t like the way his partner is treating him mid act, he’ll stop all together and gather his clothes and walk away. And he knows this, so honestly I think the chances of some casual fling getting oral from him are very slim, if not zero.

So bjs are mostly reserved for steady relationships. Even then, I still believe he is picky about them for he still is a sensitive boy. I think he needs a partner who makes him feel respected and valued, and the tricky part here is that I hc he needs to feel reassured without being explicitly reassured. Martín has a big ego and any verbal reassurances might come off as condescending to him. Look, he just needs space, needs to set his own pace, but he is no child who needs to be reassured about how great he is doing throughout the act, ok? So just let him work, and let him know how much you appreciate what he is doing and how good he’s doing by letting him hear how much you are enjoying yourself. Moans, groans, sighs, even curses and fond honest praises about how good he or how nice it feels are welcomed. Vocal encouragement does the trick, verbal reassurance doesn’t. He needs to feel appreciated and encouraged but it can’t be done directly and explicitly, he needs to pick it up from his partner’s reactions. He’s a difficult boy if there ever was one /sigh

And this is where Lulu comes in as a perfect lover for Tinchito :D I think Lu being very natural and casual about sex helped in a way. Martín tends to make too much of a deal about most things, bjs included, and I think Lu in a way helped him relax a little about it. His casual “practical” approach to sex helped turn the intensity down, made Tincho a little more flexible. This is about fun and pleasure, isn’t it? It’s ok if Martín doesn’t want to blow him, but it’s also ok if he does. It doesn’t matter what they do or how they do it, sex is not a weapon Luciano will use against him.

I also believe Lulu being very oral fixated helped a lot. Bjs from Luciano come easy, I really like the hc that is one of his fave things to do in bed. Additionally, and this works for my third point about Tinchito being difficult for oral, Lulu being very receptive and vocal during sex is just the encouragement Martín needs. It “empowers” him during an activity that usually doesn’t feel too good for him since it makes him feel like he’s on charge here, which is exactly what he needs. Martín might not get off in takin a dick to his mouth perse, but having Luciano delirious with pleasure because of him really does it for him.

Related the part of winning being one of the things that gets Tincho in the mood for giving head, I think it’s mostly about his self-perception. I think he mostly reserves it when he feels good about himself, truly and genuinely confident and not just his usual self-imposed confidence. Which is why I believe winning puts him in the mood, he feels validated and like the king of the world and hey he might as well share some of his grace with the rest of them mortals, yk? i tried what we discussed but nothing WORKED (though i didnt try all we discussed because we have quite a few aus already huh). I tried some family au scenarios and the jocks au and even considered trying to make that brigderton mess into something, but nothing lived on for more than a page or two :') I'll take a look on our other discussions just in case though...

i dont know many folk tales or even fairy tails (beyond whatever disney did) so...

I definitely can! This au has been living rent free in my head since i started that drawing and I was actually sketching more stuff for the AU right before I got this ask so- I definitely can ramble more about it

This was supposed to be just a collection of a few hcs and now it’s a multi-pages word document the size of a fanfic so – Im really sorry.

I didn’t think a lot about their backstories tbh, though I have it in my mind that Luciano transition in his late teens and that he and martin either met after that or knew each other before luciano came out, lost all contact, and then met again after (and you can blame oxiosas fic for that yeah im not even subtle)

But I imagine them having some sort of meet cute and kinda progressing really fast in their relationship without realizing – yk, its just a fling, no big deal, yeah ive met his parents, yes I basically spend every weekend in his apartment, yeah I have a spare key now, ops I guess we’re adopting dogs and plants together- oh I think we’re married. Yeah. We’re married.

Ok but for real Luci does the proper proposal-with-a-ring-and-knelt-down-on-a-special-day thing and Martin is just bright red saying yes over and over again

It is Afonso (port) the first to be all WHERE ARE MY GRANDCHILDREN like… the night of their wedding.

They live in a house in a not too big city with two dogs, one cat, one parrot and all the birds that Luciano feeds and names that aren’t actually theirs. Still, they choose the house with two spare rooms because they always talked about having two kids.

In this AU they can buy a nice house and don’t have to worry about money and can raise kids like the world isn’t ending.

I think right after they got married they got in line for adoption. However, everything indicated that it would take a long long time so they started talking about the possibility of trying to have a biological kid. I think luci was the one to suggest it when he noticed martin had been thinking about it but not saying anything for a while.

Lots of boring doctor visits and confused doctors looking at luciano and trying to process it like the dumb cishets they are. Boring exams and all that, but everything is on track eventually, luci pauses his hrt and keeps his jockstrap on the drawer and they’re googling the best positions for fertility on those weird cishet sites and doing it like bunnies etc etc

Getting pregnant the natural way after years of testosterone is not the easiest thing in the world, so it takes a while. But eventually it works.

Both of them are kinda freaking out with this whole first pregnancy thing. Martin is the ultimate protective husband, and spends way too much time on the internet finding out what luciano can and can’t eat, what exercises he should do, and going to every single doctor visit. He’s very committed to it.

Luciano has to drink non-alcoholic beer and hates life. There’s a single teardrop shed every time he buys it. And drinks a lot of lemonade like it’s the same as caipirinha. Poor guy. Martin doesn’t help on that, life isn’t fair, he buys his own beer.

But he also has to drive absurd lengths to find the weirdest fruit or make the most hideous, blasphemous pizza toppings because Luciano is constantly craving absurd shit. But poor baby actually really NEEDS that chicken M&M pizza at 8am.

They’re super proud daddies though, and both their instagrams at this point are just baby belly pictures. Luci had top surgery on this au on my hc so also. Lots of shirtless pics. He looks like an old uncle with a beer belly and he’s PROUD. Just. Baby bellies all over.

Martin picks the entire baby layette. Because of course he does.

Their baby shower is a huge deal though. Their dads are there, Antonio brings an entire trunk filled with diapers and tells everyone how many tincho used to need when he was a baby, Afonso is cooking for everyone and talking about how he’s gonna be a grandfather (!!!). Iracema (pindorama) is scolding Luci about his bad habits while also quietly being a super proud grandma. Zola (angola) bought toys because she knows that’s what kids actually like, Samero (Mozão) keeps asking if they installed all the necessary security stuff in their house – we will, chill, we still have some months to go – Vera (Tomé) is teasing Simão (Timor) about him no longer being the family baby, Fatima (g.bissau) is another one who bought a huge amount of diapers, Rosinha (cabo verde) is taking pictures of everyone and everything, Sebas and Dani are discussing if the kid should speak Portuguese or Spanish, Maria brought a huge pink plushy as a gift, it’s quite a party.

Once they’re late in the pregnancy, Luciano mostly spends his time on Martin’s oversized t-shirts asking for foot rubs and not getting much sleep because the baby keeps moving. Martin on the other hand is a little nervous about being a dad, but absolutely loves feeling the little kicks and talking to the baby all the time, except when its 3am and he wants to sleep but Luci cant because of it so he just does his best to keep him company. He mostly ends up falling asleep on his chest though and doesn’t help much

I wrote all of this but I still don’t have a name for the girl lol Anyway, she’s finally born, and if martin was overprotective when Luciano was pregnant, he’s ten times more with his baby girl. Tbh theyre both kinda going crazy with this whole parenting thing, both are overprotective, tired, and have no idea what theyre doing.

Zola and Sebastian are the girl’s godparents. Sebastian isn’t very good with kids so when he takes care of his niece he either puts on a tv show and lets her eat whatever crap she wants, or relies on Daniel to do the actual taking care, since he is good with kids.

Luciano and Martin are very much neurotic first-timers and have all this schedule of what their girl can eat and when and when she has to sleep etc etc.

When Zola takes care of her, she just ignores it and does it her way. She helped raised Luci since he was a baby anyway, he survived just fine and even married and reproduced, she knows what to do better than both the dumbasses, and they never even find out.

Afonso on the other had follows everything when he’s with his granddaughter, determined to be a better grandfather than he was a father, and the baby loves him so he’s doing a good job.

They’re a very cute family yes yes

She grows up well and happy, a bit shy maybe but very smart and sweet, loves the dogs and her aunts and uncles and granddads (afonso more than antonio though)

By the way, Iracema is soft like butter with her granddaughter.

When she’s about four or five years old they start talking about having a second one, considering the age difference and all. So back to doctors, Luci stops the hrt again and they go back to trying, but again it’s not the easiest thing in the world to do it naturally after years of hrt.

But god listens to the prayers of such good catholic family, and right after they start thinking about a second child, they receive the news they will finally get to adopt a baby.

Luciano is the one to receive the news, he’s working at home when the social worker comes to tell him they can finally adopt. He’s extremely happy, he hugs the poor lady and is barely able to concentrate as she explains the paperwork that is left and the details of it because he can’t stop smiling.

He immediately texts martin saying something like “CALL ME RIGHT NOW WE NEED TO TALK” and it’s in happy caps but martin understands it wrong and thinks someone is dying or dead but then his phone is what dies so he gets home as fast as he can thinking all the worst scenarios just to find luciano jumping on him with a smile for ear to ear. It’s such a shock he takes a while to react but when he does you have two idiots so happy they can’t function.

It’s another girl, she has big brown eyes like her sister and it’s a few months old.

They quickly reassemble the crib and paint the second room to get everything ready in time to take her home, and the next week or so it’s nothing but all the family visiting to meet their new baby.

Since they managed to adopt, they decided to stop trying to have another kid. Luciano goes back to the doctor do some routine exams so that he can go back to testosterone and the doctor just awkwardly explains that, well, that won’t be exactly possible. Not for the next eight months, at least.

He’s quite shocked at that, and takes him a while to tell martin. They just got a new baby and do they even have space to raise three kids? Eventually it just escapes from him and martin is shocked as well, but ultimately both of them are just worried about their place being too small, and once they relax about that they can’t shut up about having another baby on the way to anyone.

Still, it’s not easy to manage, martin is just as worried as he was with their eldest, except that this time he’s simultaneously worried about their new baby and about Luci’s pregnancy. Poor dude needs a break asap. So he’s trying to do most of the work of caring for a little baby to spare luciano from the stress, while also taking care of him as well as he did the other time.

Luci is more chill about being pregnant, he’s done this before, he’s fine. He’s even a little too chill about it, as shown in the art, he still wants to carry their kid on his shoulder and having a few sips of martin’s beer is no big deal and honestly he’s fine, he can help with the baby, and Tincho just needs to relax and it will all be fine.

Again, poor tincho needs a break.

Some things don’t change though. Them being super proud daddies who do nothing but take pictures of their kids and Luci’s belly every chance they get. And they’re really happy and excited to have their house full and this big family.

Just a good cute family AU where nothing bad ever happens thank you very much.  Yet it took me almost 2k words to say it. I have no self control and I’m very sorry. However, if anyone has their own hcs to add about this whole au, I will be more than happy to hear and talk about this AU even more than I’ve already done.

Alright I think we have a nice set-up, “one person badly hurt being taken care off by the other person” might be my favorite trope ever. Let’s see what we can get

One thing I’m confused is about the pirate queen character. I agree having pirate nobility makes this au bigger than we need, so let’s stick with the captain. Who are we talking here, nyo!port or Iracema? I can’t help but feel like port (in either version) is a better fit for the role, he is a sailor and an explorer after all. And Iracema might be useful for future lore, if we need - maybe she’s also a mermaid or a sea witch or pirate-hating warrior, I don’t think we need to decide it now but considering the wild places brarg Sunday can take us it might be a secret tool that will help us later. BUT if you prefer to let Iracema as the captain and ler have her time to shine, it’s good with me too, just wanted to clarify it.

Maybe it was the steampunk aesthetic in the fanart that reminded me of my own steampunk au in passarinho and immediately got me thinking doctor (?) lulu here. Well, not doctor, but maybe he could be the ship’s physician. I remember seeing in a video that the physicians in pirate ships were high up in their hierarchy, receiving the same cut as the quartermaster, so I’m thinking about it as an important position of trust that the captain might want to have her son in. Also, the physician is highly viable, if their ship was ever defeated by another group of pirates, the physician is one of the few likely to be spared. So maybe the captain years ago dropped Luciano for a few months somewhere to learn the basics of the craft and brought him back as the physician, as a way to kill two birds in one stone: having a physician she can trust and protecting her son’s life in the future. We can still have him be a badass fighter along with it, but there’s another reason I like also giving him this role: it explains why lulu is the one in closer contact with Martin, visiting him everyday and trying to help him, not just out of pity and fascination.

Im not sold on the captain wanting to throw a merman to the sea: even dead the creature’s corpse might be sold at a nice profit, if it’s well preserved. So maybe we can go for a rift forming between lulu and his mother, in which she wants to kill the beast and preserve the body to sell it and stop wasting the resources they’re wasting in trying to save it, while lulu keeps defending - with very unappealing arguments for most of the crew - that they should continue helping. Him being the son of the captain is the only reason his suggestion is even being considered enough to gain him time, but their patience won’t last forever...
