The Langeraks are just arriving in Lucky Palms and the restless Cindy is already giving her parents and high school teachers some headaches.

Surely, she gets her rebelliousness from Brandon, the only Langerak with a questionable behavior, and a fickle character, which, in turn, he inherited from his mother, the rebel of rebels, Becky Lack.

Not so with little Cain, Brandon and Sandra's youngest son, who despite his name, is an adorable well-behaved little guy. Cain loves to go for walks with Sandra, who also enjoys hiking - when/if the sun isn't too hot of course, after all Lucky Palms is a desert.

I'm writing this not even a minute after I posted my first post. Lets get right into it! Goth Family

We immediately start things off with Cassandra giving birth to TWINS, both boys. So please everyone welcome to the world Atlas and Loki (which my friends on Discord helped me name)

After work, Don brings home a new friend, Joe Carr, and they hang out for a while.

On Saturday, while Cassandra is at work, Don invites over Nina for a quick morning Woohoo.

With all the mess twins make, Don hires a maid, that just so happens to be Kaylynn Langerak, the maid that he also had romantic connections too.

Cassandra is promoted to Science Teacher.

On Sunday, the twins age up into toddlers.

Don teaches Loki how to talk.

Cassandra teaches Atlas to walk.

Don is promoted from Specialist to Surgeon on Monday.

Dina and Alexandra Goth

We start on Friday Evening where Dina discovers she is pregnant.

Yes Don is the baby daddy.

On Saturday Dina invites Don round, this of course ends in woohoo.

Alexandra is working very hard on his skills so that he can go to Coral Coast Collage.

On Monday morning, Dina gives birth to a baby girl, named Destiny (yes this is a reference to Destiny's Child)

Dina gets promoted from foreman to Head of Construction Company.

Nina Calienti

On Friday Nina gets promoted from Record Store Clerk to Party DJ.

After freshening up from work, she invites over Don Lothario.

They flirt for a while watching TV before things end up in the bedroom.

An hour after Nina leaves for work again.

Nina spends the weekend socializing and making new friends

On Monday, Nina is promoted from Party DJ to Projectionist

Waking up on Friday to find Brandi and most of her belongings gone, Dustin slowly realises he has a baby and a child to look after by himself.

He hires a nanny because he wont be able to look after the baby alone.

Dustin gets demoted back down to Street Hawker due to poor performance, meaning that he is earning less money.

Skip Jr also aged into a toddler.

Dustin teaches Skip Jr how to talk.

Dustin wakes up, does his homework, feeds his brother breakfast and then teaches Skip Jr how to walk.

After cooking dinner, a fire breaks out to which Dustin puts out.

On Sunday Dustin gets promoted back Numbers runner.

Dustin has a day off from work on Monday, Beau learns more skills and Skip Jr is being looked after well.

Brandi immediately finds out she is pregnant. That's right, baby No 4 is on the way.

Darren spends the day painting, Brandi spends a lot of the day sleeping.

Dirk earns money from work.

On Saturday Dirk works on his Charisma and Body skills.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Brandi gives birth to a boy, named Brandon.

Lets hope she doesn't abandon this son like her other three.

On Monday Dirk is promoted to parking lot attendant

Brandi is promoted from Fast Food Shift Manager to Hostess.

Angelica is sick with food poisoning, meanwhile Danial and Mary-Sue are throwing hands once again.

Lilith gets an A- on her report card and excitedly tells Mary-Sue, to which she doesn't care.

Daniel ages into an elder, he aged up badly, Probably because his wife hates him.

Lilith is sent 100 Simoleans from relatives for her good report card.

On Wednesday Mary-Sue got promoted to field researcher.

She also ages up into an elder. She aged up well with golden aspiration.

On Thursday, It seems as though Daniel hadn't learnt from his mistakes as he askes Kaylynn to stay round once done cleaning the house. They make out but for some reason, they couldn't share a bed? Perhaps for the best.

Mary-Sue gets promoted to Science teacher.

Mary-Sue sees them making out but she doesn't care what so ever.

Lindsay continues to do well in school.

She also makes a new friend at school today, Gallagher Newson.

They spend the weekend spending time as a family, its just wholesome really compared to other families.

Herb dies on Monday.

On Friday Lucy ages up into a teenager. I decided to give her the pleasure aspiration as I feel Lucy would be someone that loves to go out a lot. She aged with platinum aspiration.

Her lifetime wish is to become a game designer.

Jenifer becomes friends with Brandi.

On Saturday Lucy goes to the local Boutique, here she meets Tosha Go, they get on well.

She buys herself a new dress.

Once home, Lucy gets a new part time job as a noob.

Jenifer comes home with a promotion from Foreman to Head of Construction Company.

On Sunday Lucy gets promoted from Noob to Button Masher.

On Monday John is promoted from Dolphin tank Cleaner to Sea Lice Research Assistant.

Lucy is promoted from Button Masher to Trash Talker, reaching the top of the teen career. Well, this time it was a lot shorter, but with how long the first one was, its to be expected.

Winter, Year 7: The Poorhouse

The couples that I moved into my new apartments came from their family homesteads and they had barely enough money with them to make the rent.  The couples I moved from the singles lot only had a couple hundred with them and weren’t even close to being able to make the rent, so I had to revive the poorhouse where Raymond and Janice first lived when they were starting out together.

I had to revamp the lot first before I moved anyone in.  It started off with two 3x3 apartments (which were too small to function properly) and two 4x4 apartments.  I learned never to have adjoining walls in apartments.  I thought I could get by with it in the nonsleeping quarters in the apartments where Warren and June and Brandon and Autumn live, but even there the noise from the neighbors is constant and obnoxious.  So I separated the apartments and made three 4x4 apartments with spaces in between.  I added in a little bit of a yard for each (but probably not enough to be really useful.)   Instead of leaving the straw bed out in the open, I enclosed it in a shared room for warmth and privacy.  I added a shared bathroom (even though they always want to buy their own fixtures first thing) and added more counters, seating, and berry bushes in the common areas.  My couples probably aren’t going to be able to live here for long, because I didn’t leave much room for growing families.

Newlyweds Blazej Kimbrell and Marsha McAuley move in first and claim the back apartment.

I unlock the doors so the neighbors can share Marsha’s comfort soup and they take advantage by playing kicky bag in the middle of the room.

Marsha: Guys, there’s not room for that in here.  Take your game outside.

Blazej and Marsha welcome their first child.  A little girl named Mabel.

Blazej and Marsha both have jobs in the architecture career and are making good money.  They should be able to afford to move into a better apartment next season unless they want to stay here and save up a little more money first.  I might see if I need to free up this apartment for someone else.

Julianna, Sebastian, and baby Gillian move in next.

Dude, gross. I guess that’s one way to deal with cold feet?

Sebastian really wants to settle down and make a commitment to Julianna, but she isn’t ready to be tied down at all.  She gets a lot of offers to go out on the town and she takes them all.

What starts out as an outing with Rama Langerak, turns into a date.

She doesn’t have to worry about him pressuring her to marry.  His sights are set much higher.

His flirting with Miranda right in front of her doesn’t ruin their dream date.

She really wants to fall in love with Jonas again.

They go out for dinner together.

They don’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of things,

But that doesn’t seem to matter to them too much.

Back at home, Julianna’s younger brother Clarence shows up.  Since she was taken away from the family by social services as a baby, this might be their first time meeting.  He and Sebastian seem to hit it off.

Gillian grows up.  I think she’s inherited a lot of Sebastian in her features.  That’s her grandfather Raymond I see around her nose and mouth.

Another night out on the town for Julianna.  She’s ready for some fun.

She comes home to a surprise from Jonas.  He leaves her a hot tub.  A hot tub.  On this tiny, cheap poorhouse lot.  I was dying when I saw this thing show up.  Seriously?  A hot tub? LOL

Poor Sebastian.  He’s so oblivious.  Just playing with the baby and turning a blind eye to what his girlfriend is up to.

Or maybe he’s not as unsuspecting as he looks.  Might as well take advantage of it.

Damian:  Wait, is that a hot tub?  Where did this thing come from?

Sebastian:  I don’t know, but hop in.  The water is nice.

I’m having a lot of fun with the hot tub, but it can’t stay.  Whenever sims try to woohoo in the hot tub they get stuck.  Blazej and Marsha proved that’s still an issue in my game.  (I need to figure out how to fix that bug.)

Julianna: So, you’re a nobleman.  I know your family must have bags of money lying around.  I thought you should know, a peasant I’m dating just gave me a hot tub.  How are you going to match that?

I was pretty surprised to see that Julianna and Sebastian autonomously got engaged while I was playing the neighbor’s apartment.  I didn’t see who did the proposing, but I’m going to assume Sebastian got tired of waiting.  I doubt it will last long enough for me to get them married.

Hazel and Damian moved into the third apartment.  Hazel has been wanting to marry Damian, but he’s not so sure.  While on a date, trying to trigger him to roll a marriage/engagement want, I was pleasantly surprised to see him propose autonomously.  Good job, Damian.

Hazel goes into labor.

It’s a baby boy.  His name is Dominic. 

(I hope Julianna isn’t mad she stole the name.  That’s what I originally named her baby before the game crashed and the baby was reborn as a girl.)

Being a new father makes Damian nervous.

Damian: You know, I don’t think I’m ready for this after all.  I think I want to take back my proposal.

Hazel is crushed.

Stop playing games with the girl’s heart, man.  It isn’t nice.

Later they talk it out.

Damian: I don’t think I was really ready to have kids.  I had a tough time growing up, getting taken by the social worker, and being raised in an orphanage.  I don’t think I’m cut out to be a parent.

Hazel:  Well, it’s too late to think about that now.  The baby is here and I need you to step up.

Hazel: Especially since I’m pregnant again.

(I love this apartment lot.  It’s such a soap opera.  Landlady Lisa is here for the drama too.)

I was checking out Damian’s token stats and saw that he thinks Nanny Esther is the one.  And she just happens to invite him to an outing.  Of course, I have him go.  I can’t turn down the chance for drama.  Meanwhile I’m trying to think how I can get her out of the picture.

Damian:  Hey, where’s the rest of our outing?

Nanny Esther:  Oh, this is it.  It’s just you and me.

Lady, you got us here under some false pretenses.

Thoroughly disgusted, I send Damian home.  (I’m sure the only reason he knows her is because she babysat for him at the orphanage when he was a child.)  Unfortunately, I forgot to end the outing first and she followed him home and immediately into bed.  Hazel hears them from across the lot where she was making dinner in their apartment.

And she is not having it.

Oddly, Hazel is not that angry at either of them and sits down quite civilly with both of them while they have dinner.

Nobody made any supper for Nanny Esther, so she helps herself to the fridge and pulls out a turkey.  An entire freaking turkey and prepares a full turkey dinner right in front of Hazel who watches in disbelief.

I’m trying to figure out how to get Nanny Esther out of the picture, so she won’t keep being an obstacle for Hazel and Damian.  I don’t want to do anything too extreme like kill her off, but I would like to encourage them to forget about each other.

Welcome to Lunar Lakes! We will be following the adventures of Cecelia Whitaker, an orphan who spent her childhood in the Lunar Lakes Abandoned Minor Accommodations (LLAMA). As a teen, she left the crowded orphanage to live on the streets, trying to scrape by. The Lunar Lakes government (headed by xenophobic sims who hated anyone that had even a drop of alien blood) tried to get Cecelia to leave the planet by giving her a grant of 20 thousand simoleons. While Cecelia hated Lunar Lakes, and resented her parents who abandoned her there, she decided she wanted to change the society for the better.  Having spent copious amounts of time caring for younger sims while at LLAMA, she knew that she wanted to be a parent, though she was inspired by a woman of many centuries before named Cecelia Whitaker who lived in a place called Moonlight Falls. Legend says her descendants took over the town, and then all of SimNation. For what it’s worth, the story also spoke of vampires, werewolves, and fairies, so Cecelia was unsure how much of this she could believe. Regardless, she felt that maybe pulling off a feat like this “Cecelia the Fabled” could be exactly what Lunar Lakes needs to break down the walls for sims of alien descent on the planet, or at the very least, Cecelia would make several “pure-blooded” sims’ bloodlines a little murky. She took the loan given to her by the Lunar Lakes government and bought a plot of land on the outskirts of town, built a small two-bedroom home, and set to work on building her empire... That’s... that’s a lot. Thanks, I definitely will. It’s just... a lot to makeover. Oh, I don’t quite know what I’ll do with it yet. I could imagine playing it regularly, but I could also see myself making up little “slice of life” stories with it (the second option would allow me to keep my attention on my other stuff...hm).

Yeah, there are going to be a lot of redheads next generation. Brittany and Andrew's future kids are obvious, but all of the Spitzig kids and Rufus Hogan also have recessive genes for red hair, Abigail either has a recessive for red or blonde, and Chandler is a natural redhead as well.

Yeah, Andrew has the most cohesive mix of his parents’ genes, I think. Benjamin can look a bit wonky. Andrew also looks similar to Brittany, so I’m very curious how their children will look like.

(Now I’m curious whether it would be possible for Andrew and Brittany to have a blonde kid)

Socceroos’ next generation primed for 2022 World Cup

Uncapped Harry Souttar is part of a new generation of Australia stars hoping to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

   Australia’s next generation of football talent has been given the nod to start the Socceroos’ path to the 2022 World Cup.

Coach Graham Arnold has picked 12 players with 10 caps or fewer to their name in his 23-man squad for the opening qualifier against Kuwait on Sept. 10.

Scottish-born Stoke City defender Harry Souttar, on loan at Fleetwood Town in England’s League One, is the only uncapped player in the squad, with Brandon Borrello, Ajdin Hrustic and goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne all boasting just one cap each.

The party has begun! Deanne, the babysitter, never does her job, but today she decided to monopolize Davy and take him herself to blow out the candle on the cake. Cynthia didn't seem to mind much, but Terence wasn't too happy.

(This is one of the things that annoys me about the babysitters in this game, sometimes the parents can't get close, this time not even on their own child's birthday). 🙄

Anyway, the Chos celebrated and cheered Davy on, accompanied by Brandon. We don't know why his wife Sandra and daughter Cindy didn't come. My sims' birthdays never turn out as expected, lol.

The animation picked up when Jaycen arrived. Too bad he didn't bring little Stephan, the son he had with Lina Lancaster, and of whom he is in charge. Yes, Jaycen is a single father.

The time is near! Davy was already put down, you know, as it should be done with every little birthday boy. 😆

Now we will make a small pause to remember and re-introduce Brandon Langerak, Terence's right-hand man. Cause Jaycen Hendrix is his administrator at the casino, but Brandon is in charge of the other kind of 'business'. He arrived in Lucky Palms just a few days after Riley Woods made her appearance.

Brandon always wanted to be a musician like his father, the famous singer Kurtis Langerak, but his troubled nature led him to meet his first boss, Bert Alto, for whom he worked until Bert stopped being boss and Terence took his place. Brandon and Terence hit it off right away, and soon he became his right-hand man. Now, at Terence's request, he has left his hometown, Hidden Springs, to move permanently to Lucky Palms.

Brandon brought with him, of course, his wife, Sandra Eastman, who is just starting out in the culinary career, she's currently in Level 2, Spice Runner.

While eating their cake, Terence and Brandon discuss business. Terence is upset because of Riley. Terence: So she didn't settle for just the job, huh? Brandon: No, she keeps calling me at all hours. Terence: Pass the calls to Jaycen. Branden: I did, but she won't talk to him either, she insists on speaking to you in person. Terence: Damn.

Meanwhile, on the floor, Davy is playing with one of his gifts, a rag doll given to him by some a distant aunt or something.

He seems to have taken a great liking to the doll. Terence: What the hell? My son is a boy, he will not play with dolls, not on my watch!

But Cynthia wants to make sure she doesn't come back, so, taking advantage of a moment of Terence's distraction, she goes after her, accompanied by Jaycen. Cynthia: Well, you got the job you wanted; from today on, you'll go to Jaycen on any issues. Now, I hope you understand this, cause I'll say it just once: stay away from my husband and my house in general, or you'll be dealing with me.

Riley is about to answer something, but Terence arrives at that moment to try to bring order, albeit a little too late. Terence: Everything all right here? Cynthia: Yes, dear, everything is perfect now. Riley: Oh yes, your lovely wife here was just 'kindly' saying goodbye to me.

Brandon is just arriving, Terence called him a while ago to give him instructions. Terence: Brandon, this is Riley, our new account executive at the casino, you'll be in charge of giving her whatever she needs. (Translation: 'Brandon, you'll be in charge of watching this woman 24/7, so that she doesn't try anything stupid'). Cynthia: *Whispers* Are you sure this is a good idea? Terence: *Whispers back* Cyn, knock it off, okay? Leave this stuff to me, I know what I'm doing.

Terry is leaving home too, although a little later than Cynthia, since the casino opens at nightfall.

Terence was somewhat annoyed that neither Dale nor anyone else in his family could attend but promised to take Davy to Hidden Springs soon to meet his grandparents, great-grandparents, and, if possible, his two uncles Dale and Tyron as well.

Cynthia's family did not attend either, for obvious reasons, so Terry and Cyn decided to celebrate Davy's birthday in absolute privacy. Of course, she forbade him to invite Riley Woods, only Jaycen Hendrix and Brandon Langerak, his two most trusted men, could attend.
