Tur, Eski Kent’teki en iyi turistik mekanları ziyaret etmeyi içerir. Manuc’s Inn (Hanul lui Manuc) – ünlü tarihi han, turun ilk turistik mekanıdır. Daha sonra, neoklasik ve neo-barok tarzda inşa edilmiş etkileyici tarihi binalara hayran kalacaksınız ve her biri hakkında detayları bulacaksınız. Yakınında Eski Princely Sarayı (Curtea Veche) ile Eski Princely Sarayı (Palatul Voievodal) – Vlad the Impaler’ın eski evi ve Bükreş’teki en eski kilise olan St. Anton Kilisesi (Biserica Sfantul Anton) bulunmaktadır. Burada 500 yıldan daha uzun bir süre önce inşa edilmiş bu eski yerin tarihi hakkında tüm sırları öğrenin.

"Things" - Cubes, Cristina Passima Trifon

2005 “Cubes” 16 cubes, 85 cm aside Dimensions: 9 m x 9 m (modular presentation: 4 x 4 m) Description: Micro corrugated lined board, with Colotech 160 gr /mp digital print on each side of the cubes; each of 6 sides of the cubes can be viewed by rotating them. Note: Designed specially to be folded, the cubes can be moved and carried easily. Transport dimensions: 210 cm x 125 cm x 50 cm. “THINGS” Beyond the appropriate institutionalized framework for existential interrogations of contemporary artistic movements, the space we propose could provide the framework in which the artist would offer a personal scenario, with a distribution of focus alternating between: “I” (the artist), “Us” (the museum/exhibition space), “The Other” (the visitor) and “The Others“ (the institutions, the experts). It will therefore be a question of focusing on the ‘other’ and their ability to escape the burden of excessive analysis related to consumption, passive reception, or the artistic act. This is the approach proposed by the project "Things" in addressing the relationship between people and things. It will be comprised of five large, three-dimensional objects (chosen based on their use in the advertisement industry) as well as a video projection. The five objects will guide the visual trajectory in the following order: paper bag, pile of paper with apples, cubes, landmark 1, landmark 2. The proposed route is easy to navigate but while immediately rousing a strong visual impact - akin to breathlessness – due to the overwhelmingly large size of the objects encountered (as an example, the paper bag would measure 2.40 X 2.80 X 9 m) As the visitor advances through the space the sensation decreases in intensity, as objects gradually are downsized, ending up at life-size dimensions, in the last room. Through its content as well as the size and the arrangement of the objects in the exhibition space, the project seeks to build a new artistic form. One can imagine being carried inside a paper bag, on the regular route to the office. Alternatively, the travelling bag may borrows other paths, imaginary ones...one never knows. Could a new trail be uncovered, revealed, brought to light?!?!... "Things" is part of the larger "Landmarks" urban environment project, designed for the North-South axis of the city of Bucharest. Its purpose is that of offering and alternative visual impression, through the use of advertising light signals. Project realized with the support of the Cultural Projects Center of the Municipality of Bucharest (ARCUB), the Brancovenesc Palace in Mogosoaia, Pro Helvetia Bucharest and sponsored by Rosign SRL, Display Group, SC Tipo - Aktis, Loan-Packing, Kruger Brent Printing House SRL and Adapt Advertising.
