How the brunette ended up in another forest completely away from her university was probably to remain an enigma for the rest of existence. She was definitely lost, her phone had lost reception, and worst of all, her shirt had a hole in it! Well, actually, she could’t bring herself to care about that last part. However, it was concerning that she was lost, and no one knew she was lost. A few more steps, and she manages to trip over someone over half her size. A swift movement of her hitting the ground and pushing herself up, fists out, followed.

The girl had stepped back, admiring her work, her beautiful chain of dolls displayed, she had been learning to make them like her father had made them, and she was getting the hang of it, despite her young age.

"Beautiful..." she murmured.

Hearing a knock, the girl craned her head over the door. "Just a minute!" And she scurried off at the backdoor to clean the evidence of her murderous deeds, afterwards, she approached the door, opening it with a bright smile on her face.

"Welcome to the drevis clinic! How may I help you?" She stared towards the stranger, perhaps they could be another lovely victim.

Enchanted Meeting {braidedbenevolence}

The air feels hot. My skin itches. How long has it been since I’ve eaten?

Someone’s nearby...  Come, let me eat you.  How many people have I eaten?

“Congratulations, Ellen.                 I’ll give you the spell to cure your sickness.”

Deep in the forest, the witch closed her eyes to see. She stretched her magic to the edge of the forest, and flowers blossomed with her joy. Her salvation had arrived at last--heaven in the form of a girl. That girl’s body was so perfect, so clean... everything Ellen could have imagined. In that instant her heart was set. This was the one.

Ellen smiled with cracked lips at the black cat. It seemed to her now as though his benevolence could outshine the sun. She’d lacked the energy to hate him for so long now, drifting in and out of consciousness, unable to rise from her bed. Do with her what he would at other times; today he would be her savior, answering her one and only prayer. 

“Get her for me... that beautiful body...”

The demon smiled at the one whose efforts he’d consumed for over a century, baring his shining teeth. She was a wretched little mess, all crusted over with her own blood, but still so tenacious. Really, she was cute. 

“Hmm, I will. I told you I liked you, Ellen. Didn’t I tell you that?” 

And the black cat slunk out the door to fetch his witch the girl with golden braids.
