↬ Glencairn Pearl Fringe

Despite being a relatively small addition to the royal vault, this sleek tiara has seen quite a lot of action throughout the decades, inclduing three royal weddings. Its start is predictable enough: its original owner was none other than Queen Alexandra of Sunderland. In Alexandra's time, the tiara was nothing more than an unassuming diamond bandeau, and it was never worn by the Winter Queen in public. Through Alexandra, the tiara was passed down to her granddaughter-in-law, Queen Anne, who wore the simple bandeau just once. By the time Anne loaned the tiara to her daughter-in-law, Esther, Duchess of Glencairn, the tiara had been collecting dust for a quarter of a century. Esther was the wife of Prince Michael, Duke of Glencairn, the youngest son of Queen Anne and King George II. Even by the most flattering accounts, the King's youngest daughter-in-law was a bit of a snob. To the Duchess, being the fourth-most senior lady of the land justified a tiara worthy of royalty. Esther altered the simple bandeau to her liking, adding a top row of pearls and scroll elements. This refurbished tiara, which accompanied the Duchess to many glitzy events in the 50s and 60s, became known as the Glencairn Pearl Fringe. By the early in 1970s, the tiara had another wearer. Esther's oldest daughter, Princess Mary, began wearing the tiara once she was old enough to embark on royal duties of her own. In 1981, Mary wore the tiara at her wedding to Jack Belgraves, afterwhich the tiara remained hers for good. Esther was the owner of at least five other tiaras, which were left to her daughters following her death in 1988. Following Esther's death, the tiara underwent a remarkable trasformation. The bandeau was reworked into a modified fringe tiara, with the oringinal pearls serving as toppers. Throughout the nineties, Mary reagrraged several of her mother's jewels, to varying degrees of success. As cousin to the current soverign, Mary still has royal duties on her roster to this day. As a result, the tiara has popped up at the occasional event. In 2012, Heather Belgraves continued tradition by wearing her mother's tiara on her own wedding day. Mary's daughter-in-law, Sabyna Belgraves also wore the tiara as a braidal diadem, but no pictures of the event ever surfaced.

Tag der Wasserfälle

Während wir nach Portland in Oregon fahren, passieren wir die Colombia Schlucht. Hier finden sich in kürzesten Abständen die herrlichsten Wasserfälle. Der berühmteste ist der Multnomah Fall

Das ist ziemlich beeindruckend. Wir wandern Richtung ganz nach oben, aber das wird mir dann doch zu hoch nach 200Hm und wir kehren um. Schließlich wollen wir die anderen Fälle auch noch sehen.

Alles in Allem, ein sehr schöner Tag mit vielen Höhenmetern und tollen Aussichten.

Nachmittags kommen wir in Portland an und gehen auch hier noch ein bisschen durch die Stadt. Unser Hotel liegt zentral und hat einen Parkplatz dabei. Leider keine Kaffeemaschine.

note: no - sleep is for people who have a social life; something i really do not have lmao. i do not know how anyone can physically pick gojo up - mans is like, over 190cm tall 0-0 - but I did have fun writing this idea love! i hope you enjoy!

OKKOTSU YUTA

this man is baby - more specifically, he’s my baby ><. but i guess i can learn to share

anyway - i headcanon that mans is drawn to overprotective lovers in the first place. just the idea that there is someone out there who cares for him above themselves just makes this little baby melt

no matter how strong he becomes, he does not care that his lover seems to dote on him more than others; making sure that his laundry is done, he is eating healthy instead of eating quick or instant meals, and making sure his wounds are all bandaged and clean

when he was still new to the entire world of jujutsu sorcery, you had been super protective of him; always stopping Maki from beating him up too badly, and warning gojo to keep the training to the minimum if he had a bad training day before 

he used to be scrawny too - so whenever he would hurt himself, you would just go up to him and casually picked him up to toss him over his shoulder with an annoyed scowl

“how many times have i told you not to push yourself, okkotsu?!” you snapped as you marched back to his dorm, ignoring his spluttered attempts at words as you lectured him about how he needs to start caring for himself

and if he is not going to do it, you’re sure as hell going to step in and do it for him 

as he becomes stronger I think you become less overbearing, but that does not mean you’re not as worried as before

when he was in Africa looking into the lead where they can find more Black Rope, you sent him care packages through other traveling sorcerers

although he finds it a little embarrassing when the sorcerers would tease him about the packages, he feels all warm inside seeing the things you packed

his favourite coffee brand, new sets of clothes when you heard his were ruined from battles, random snacks and candies to keep him occupied, and a few packages of instant food you two love to eat in Japan 

you even have a handwritten note and a few pictures of your friends back home; along with random notes from your fellow classmates as well. all of them 

even being away from you, you somehow find a way to make him feel your love and care for him

and if that doesn’t motivate him to come home faster, he isn’t sure what else would be

FUSHIGURO MEGUMI

although his father is toji, this man just screams ‘secretly needy lover’ - mans is needy, but will not show it. kinda like toji honestly. big mean men with frowns that will melt when their lovers dote on them 

megumi does not know it, but he tends to neglect himself a lot. sure he does the things like cook and do the weekly laundry; but he does it mainly out of necessity than anything else

you do the things that he needs to do but just doesn’t notice? like how you’d always pick up that one brand of softener that doesn’t make his nose get irritated, or pick up some medications that he is running low of in his first aid kit

and it doesn’t go unnoticed by megumi - he may not verbally tell you he does, but he does shyly return a few physical things like a kiss to your cheek in thanks or a brief but warm hug to show you how grateful he is

megumi does not necessarily like verbal confrontation. he hates dealing with emotions, and finds it draining to interact with loud people (*cough cough* his two idiot best friends and his sensei *cough cough*). so he hopes you can tell how grateful he is for having you by his side

megumi also hates falling behind others; this causes him to push himself to train harder. meaning more wounds and more sore muscles, and him staying up late nights to catch up with studying

whenever you catch him doing any of his late night study sessions, you’d grab his pencil and literally haul his glaring and grumbling ass to bed. he wouldn’t dare lash out at you. you’re still his precious lover lol

he’s used to you pulling him aside before missions to give him the usual lecture about how he needs to make sure he takes care of himself out there and do not push himself to the point of irreversible injuries

he would always sport this annoyed look on his face, yet he knows well, and would always grumble childishly as he leans down to press a soft kiss on your forehead before he has to leave

whenever he returns, he goes to your room first - no matter how tired or hurt he is. the moment he enters, you’re immediately taking care of him 

if it is anyone else he might find them annoying and too overbearing; but for some reason he just craves for when you go out of your way to make sure he is taking care of himself before you take care of yourself

through your relationship i think he starts to learn how to take care after you in return, so it ends up with you two being the ‘it’ couple of the college without even knowing it

even though megumi did not necessarily grow out of the habit of not taking care of himself when he should be, knowing that he has someone home who takes care of him the way you do always brings a warm feeling into his chest

because now he knows that he is not alone anymore; and that in itself makes him want to work harder to become the best sorcerer he can be

GOJO SATORU 

this man loves it when you baby him, even if he is ‘the strongest sorcerer’ of the generation - mans wanna be spoilt lmao 

not even in monetary ways either. he can get whatever his heart desires, no matter the price tag. but what he can’t get is genuine care and affection. that doesn’t have a price tag on it

in comes you - his very much doting and loving lover who always picks up after his dumbass, either by things like cleaning up your shared home whenever you have the free time, or doing something as picking up the groceries

he’s a spoilt child, with maids doting on him and doing whatever he wanted since he was born, so he was used to not doing things like this

but when he moved out, he had to learn all of these boring chores - so having someone who cares for him to go out of their way to do it too does make him feel special

but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t spoil you - impromptu staycation dates outside of Tokyo, café hopping to try all the new treats, going to a mall to do those ‘buying an outfit’ challenges; he always injects fun into your life

but you always reassure him that you don’t need all these things. what you do want is for him to return to you every night 

and even though he teased you for being sappy and cheesy, it is this promise that has him rushing home every mission so he can return right into your arms

doesn’t mind that you seem a little more overbearing than others, always wanting to make sure he is safe if he travels overseas, needing things like a call before he goes to bed just so you can catch up on everything that has happened so far

he actually enjoys it i think, because for once there is someone that is always looking out for his return, someone who is genuine in their concern and love they have for him

the entire idea that you are always there when he gets home after a long mission, food ready and fussing any wounds he has on his person has his stomach erupting in butterflies and his heart melting into a puddle

honestly though, you dote on him as much as he dotes on you; making sure you were attack by curses, that no random creep tries to chat you up, or some random ex lover of his tries to harass you

all you need to do is be his sweet and loving lover that he returns home to every night, and he would be the most happiest man on this planet

You walk up to Trent sitting on the couch scrolling through his phone, you've been thinking of ways, to tell him that you're pregnant since you found out.

Sitting next to him, he instantly puts his arms around your shoulder making you move closer to him. "Can we take a quick picture for my mom?" you ask, hoping you don't sound nervous or too excited. "She keeps saying how much she misses us." you continue.

"Corse love" Trent kisses your temple, holding the camera in the air, both smiling for the camera.

" Say Y/N is pregnant! " you say as normals as possible.

"Y/N is pr..." he stops midsentence but you already got the picture that will show his reaction forever.

He looks at you with big eyes. "Are you.. really?" he can't even say the word pregnant.

"Yes Trent. You're going to be a father."

He jumps off the couch, carrying you braidal style kissing every inch of your face.
