Finally, we are here. It's our final Autumn broadcast of the year, and also the final Year 12 broadcast on Omega. It's been a year of many schedule changes for us; with a one-hour show that allowed us to buy lots of time to stock up on music and keep us going. This morning, we present to you our sixth edition "second chance" broadcast. All throughout the broadcasting year, we acquired music finds we liked that couldn't fit into our usual deluxe editions. So, we give them a second opportunity for airplay where they have their own time to shine. It's one of those sets we look forward in doing every year, and we hope you enjoy it.

We'd like to thank all listeners, followers, and supporters of All Things Omega and WUSB's, our current program-director Shayna for changing up our slot for the better, and our mutuals who helped supplied us with some of the sounds you heard all throughout the year.

We return in two weeks, December 9th, 2024 to kick off Year 13 of Omega. We have a Christmas Day broadcast on the horizon as we fill in for Movies News & Music. Our next two deluxe broadcasts on December 9th and December 23rd will be our annual Winners shows where we feature '24's best, notable, interesting, and long-awaited new releases. Hey Y'all!!!

hi tumblr!!! uuh.. about a month ago I released an album and because this is pretty much the only social media that I publicly use I thought it would be nice to share it in here to see if anyone other than my friends could listen to it and get in contact with my music!

Thou Shalt Spark in the Ruins of What Remains of a Home is a experimental album that blends together a multitude of genres such as dark ambient, lo-fi, post-rock, electronic, noise, trip-hop and everything in between! It's made out of very abrasive and harsh sounds that can be really scary, but also really disarming and vulnerable, bringing a strange sense of intimacy and comfort not despite the uglyness and chaos but because of it.

Hope I don't sound too cocky saying those things haha but I thought it would be nice to give a brief introduction to what this album is for me before just telling people to go listen to it. If you guys could share the album with people who would like i'd really aprecciate it. If my art means something important even to just one person, that's enough to make me the happiest person in the world.

also, the album is free! download it as you want. But if you're gonna use it in a personal project, please give me proper credits!!

We've come to the end of Year 11 of Omega Radio. We have a bye-week on what would've been our normal time-slot to make way for WUSB's Caribbean Marathon. What better way to properly close out another year on the airwaves with our abbreviated 5th Annual Second Chance broadcast? Every year, we discover and audition lots of incoming music. Some things we find don't necessarily fit in our regular deluxe programming. So, we give them their own moment to shine. Experimental sounds, unclassifieds, and magical touches help close out what has become a more streamlined year on the air.

We want to thank everyone who followed, liked, supported, and listened to Omega Radio and WUSB. As always, we feel great in showing our listeners and followers of all things Omega a different side of the music world. Our enthusiasm has never wavered, so we plan to continue delivering new, current, and favorite sounds and artists from all genres across the world. See you in December.
