Made a FANTASTIC discovery today regarding the meaning behind Boothill's fourth eidolon, I'm so happy!!! Most of it is just cowboy references, like
Eidolon 1: Dusty Trail's Lone Star- cowboy lingo, the Lone Star of Texas
Eidolon 2: Milestonemonger- more cowboy lingo, someone who roams and wanders
Eidolon 3: Marble Orchard's Guard- yet more cowboy lingo, a term for a graveyard (a fave of mine, because for me it evokes the image of a Church Grim <333)
Eidolon 4: Cold Cuts Chef- ????
Google didn't really provide much on Eidolon 4 like for the first three. Before today I had assumed it was just another movie reference of some sort, since Boothill is like entirely based on/inspired by old Western films.
"Cold cuts" are basically lunch meat/deli meat. It's precooked meat that doesn't need any kind of preparation- you can literally just eat it cold. Since it didn't seem to be a movie reference, I thought oh, maybe it's a nod to his lifestyle? Boothill is unhoused and lives on the run from the IPC with little rest, he doesn't really have the means to cook. Precooked, easy food like that would be a godsend for someone in his circumstances.
Anyway the original Chinese text gives it an entirely different, MUCH wilder meaning fjadskljfkld
love how they chose "celebrity chef" to show his expertise and/or fame in this fjkdlsja
Because no, "cold cuts" isn't cowboy lingo for anything, but cold meat specifically is.
It's how you refer to a corpse.
"Cold Cuts Chef" is not a title talking about his cooking ability, or his life's circumstances, or anything as mundane as that, IT'S ABOUT THE FACT THAT BOOTHILL SPECIALIZES IN DEALING DEATH, THIS MAN IS EXTREMELY SKILLED, AND GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES, AND WHAT HE DOES IS MURDER!!!!!
#AND I LOVE THAT FOR HIM!!!!!!#*dreamy sigh* there is so much blood on his hands#I love morally dubious men <3#honkai star rail#hsr#honkai star rail boothill#hsr boothill#boothill#I know this eidolon's title is not a reference to any form of cannibalism. I know that.#But GOD I hope that's an in-universe rumor that spreads about him through the lower ranks of the IPC grunts JFKDLASJDKLFJ#I think he would lean into it so hard. he would have so much fun with it.#Boothill is hiding in the shadows waiting for the right moment to strike. He's listening to these two grunts gossip about him.#'Wow did you hear about that crazy cowboy. I heard they found the bodies with pieces missing.' Boothill has the biggest grin.#'I heard one time they didn't find the bodies at ALL.' 'That's terrifying!' Boothill has to bite his scarf to keep from cackling.#He keeps telling himself no no he can't reveal himself yet he's waiting for the patrol switch he has a goal today!!#'Thank the Preservation this place is safe. I wouldn't wanna be off-planet with a scary guy like that wandering around-#-especially if he really is eating people.' 'Surely that's not true though right? ...Right?'#Well. Look the point is he held out as long as he could ok.#And unable to resist the temptation any longer Boothill melts out of the shadows from behind them#right in between the two of them#and his voice is practically right in their ears as he tells them#'What'd ya think I got the teeth for?'#run boys run KFLAJKLFDJSKLFJDKLSJFDK

Steve is most likely to end up in a lavender marriage and Tony's most likely to end up in a “married for tax/immigration/inheritance fraud” reasons.
They meet as married men and pine for each other hardcore and are also trying not to read too much into how their interest seems reciprocated and oh nooooo both Immigration/the IRS and the the Church/in-laws/DADT era army dudes or whatever are snooping around at the same time at each of their marriages and they have to be so good at being married at the people they are married to oh noooooo and they other guy doesn’t know why they are suddenly being iced out and maybe they were just imagining things? maybe it’s for the best with all these eyes around on them…

Boys Planet Eps 9-10 Recap: Switch
Hello, lovies! As you may know, I already wrote a recap/master post for episode 9, and another one for episode 10. This recap focuses just on the stuff that’s relevant to team “Switch” -- so their rehearsal period in episode 9 as well as their rehearsal footage and performance in episode 10. But you’ll have to switch to the full post first, which is my cheesy way of saying to click read more! 🙂
The Trainees Here’s a list of the trainees in this group along with their rank as of episode 8 and their two previous missions:
Kim Tae Rae 7 / Back Door -K / Man in Love
Keita 8/ Kill This Love - G / Zoom
Park Hanbin 13/ Hot Sauce - K / Law
Yoon Jong Woo 15 / Back Door - K /Home
Na Kamden 20 / Back Door - G / Law
Zhang Shuai Bo 23 / Back Door - G / Feel Special
The First Rehearsal Segment
At 31:45 of episode 9, we visit with team Switch for four whole minutes!
They start by deciding who would get the killing part, and Yoon Jong Woo says he doesn’t want it because it’s all about confidence, and he has none. Also, I kind of get the feeling that he's a little over the whole thing. Can't blame him, but I hope he shakes that off.
But you know who does want the killing part? - the formerly blue haired Park Hanbin.
Surely, though, he won’t be able to do a good audition? He can’t learn the choreo that fast?
But he gets up and does the killing part for his team and does it flawlessly. Better than Kamden, who has had a week to prepare. TaeRae, comparing Hanbin’s dance to the video on the tablet, says, “how much did he practice?” (We’ll come back to that in a second….)
What happened is this:
Park Hanbin looked at the numbers. He knew his initial team, En Garde, would almost certainly lose all or most of Ji Yun Seo, Lee Ye Dam, Oh Sung Min, and Hiroto. Hanbin knew that if Hiroto or one of the other three survived elimination, then his team would have one extra trainee. They’d probably vote out Hiroto, or whoever else survived, which would mean that Park Hanbin would be stuck with his 10 seconds of subvocal 3 as his only contribution to the team. There was a vanishingly slim chance that Kum Jun Heon or Park Gunwook was going to yield the killing part to him, or that his team would award it to him from merit. So, betting on the chance that at least one of Hiroto, YunSeo, YeDam, or Sungmin would make it, Hanbin learned the choreography to Switch, while also learning the choreography to En Garde, with the plan of volunteering to switch to Switch.
You guys, I told that story to my fella, and he was like, “that is some Rian Johnson, Knives Out, Poker Face level of machination and plot surprise,” and I was like, yeah. Accurate.
I don’t think that Park Hanbin liked Switch better the whole time or anything like that. He asked the Star Creators to put him in En Garde. But Hanbin wanted a Killing Part, and he was willing to work twice as hard as anyone else in order to get it.
Now, what about Kim TaeRae? I think that Hanbin and TaeRae talked about this ahead of time. Remember, they’re both with WakeOne. They auditioned together at the Star Level Test. TaeRae is a vocalist and probably relies on Hanbin to help him with choreo when needed, at the agency. Hanbin knows that TaeRae isn’t a hyper-social butterfly, nor is he hyper-audacious, pushing for the parts he wants. TaeRae somehow or another didn’t get main vocal in Backdoor. Like, what the fuck? So Hanbin knew that someone other than TaeRae was likely to end up with that juicy subvocal-1 part in Say My Name. Not great for TaeRae. But meanwhile, Hanbin also knew that TaeRae is much beloved by the Star Creators, and is an excellent singer and a decent dancer. Hanbin knew that he, Hanbin, would be able to teach anyone how to dance. He also knew that having TaeRae on his team will benefit both his team and TaeRae, because it’ll ensure that TaeRae gets a main vocal part and it’ll ensure that his team has at least one top-9 trainee and at least one trainee who can sing really well. It’s win/win/win for Hanbin, TaeRae, and their team. Also, having TaeRae on his team meant that he’d have one more chingu who would be sure to vote for him to have the killing part. And also also, since TaeRae and Hanbin are both at WakeOne, what’s good for one is good for the other, because they’re undoubtedly going to debut together eventually and their fame and future success is tied together.
Notice how TaeRae asked, “How much did he practice?” when Hanbin did the killing part -- not “how does he know this?” or “did he practice this?” TaeRae already KNEW that Hanbin had been practicing this. He was only surprised as to the extent of it. That’s further proof that they talked about this in advance.
I love this so much, and I just love Park Hanbin. That kid is the Jeon Soyeon of this batch of trainees. I mean, not necessarily in terms of song composition or whatnot, but in terms of brilliant strategy. Whether he debuts in Bepler or not, he’s going places.
Also, Na Kamden is just a sweet guy, isn’t he? Losing the killing part, he just says, well, Hanbin is really good. You’re good too, Kamden! This whole team is pretty strong, and this is the performance I’m actually looking forward to the most at this point.
So here’s the part distribution -- wait, Keita is sub rapper 3? At first I thought that Keita must have been planning something, but as I watched more, I became less sure. Oh no...
Anyway, they start practicing, and the editing focuses on how TaeRae is having a little trouble learning the choreo. It's! Shocking! That a Main Vocal! Would have a little trouble! Learning choreo!!!!
Even his hair won't cooperate. Don’t worry. He has Hanbin there to beat the steps into him!
Now, let’s skip to 30:00 in to Episode 10. It’s D-Day and the boys come out on stage, all dressed in super bright colors.
Key asks Hanbin about rehearsal, and we jump back to the team’s first meeting with the psychopath dance teacher. We’re reminded of how the team ended up together, and the dance teacher says that this is a good team, with several trainees who got a good result in the second challenge mission -- Hanbin came in first for Law, TaeRae came in first for Man in Love , JongWoo came in first for Home, and Keita came in first for Zoom.
But their dancing isn’t perfect, how dare they not be perfect after like 12 hours of rehearsal?
Especially TaeRae, who at some points didn’t dance at all but just sort of walked because he is a VOCAL and was going to be SINGING at that point. (1) Aren’t they allowed to adjust the choreo? Isn’t that part of the assignment? And (2) Let me get this straight, you fucking psychopath -- you want TaeRae to be dancing “powerfully” WHILE HITTING THE B ABOVE MIDDLE C? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? That’s several notes higher than that high F# they made the boys hit in Na BiNa. This is fucking falsetto territory, and you want him to dance “powerfully” AT THE SAME TIME? I hate these dance teachers so much sometimes. Human beings have human bodies. Jesus Christ. This is why singing in Kpop is going down the drain -- because they want people to dance “powerfully” while hitting B4.
The judge guy actually helps a bit (shocker, right?) by suggesting a modification for the choreo for TaeRae, but TaeRae doesn’t understand, so he makes him do it over and over like 19 times before getting off his lazy evil ass and showing him.
That night, Hanbin asks Keita why Keita didn’t go for a bigger rapping part…
Hey, I know what you readers like.
… and Keita says, “I don’t have any energy left.” Keita interviews that he’s lost a lot of confidence. Oh no, Keita!! Oh NO!!!!
Back at rehearsal, Na Kamden, who is really a good guy, hands over leadership to Park Hanbin, because he thinks -- no, he KNOWS -- that Hanbin will do a better job. Everyone at home is like, “wait, Hanbin wasn’t already the leader?”
They work on the dance, both the big picture and the details, sometimes over and over and over.
Then, like the fucking genius and sweetheart that Hanbin is, he gets Keita involved in fixing up the choreo, which does two things: (1) re-energizes Keita and (2) utilizes their resources! Yes.
Just a little nudge from a friend seems to spur Keita back into action, and soon they’re all involved, all dancing.
40:30 The Performance
So we skip to D-day.
The judges are looking over the stage, which is set up to look a bit like an arcade, with bright day-glow colors. There’s an elevator door that is going up to the 9th floor -- referencing their desire to go up to the top9.
Out in the audience, Wumuti is spoiling it to the audience that the concept of the performance is that the boys are stuck in a video game world. The fact that he knows that is an indication of how much of the performance was determined by the boys who were in each group before The Great Reshuffling. This implies that a lot of the stuff the various teams are doing might be the result of the hard work of trainees who aren’t in that group anymore. This is all really messed up, MNET.
And the boys come out on stage to perform. It’s time!
My Take:
I know I’ll be in the minority here, but I actually like this song. I know, I know. But listen to the studio recording of it and maybe it'll grow on you. It's like a weird NCT song mated with a Black Pink song and had a child that mostly took after its father. But I'm fine with that. I also really liked the dance practice. I feel like I can focus more on how good their dancing is -- especially Yoon JongWoo, who is wearing white here, and seems to be trying his best to remind us that he would have been fucking fantastic in Over Me. They look like they’re having fun, like I just sort of want to jump up and join them dancing. They just have good chemistry and seem like friends. It’s one of those things that makes Twice so fun to watch, is the feeling that you’re watching a group of friends having fun rather than a group of coworkers forced to work together.
As for the Stage Performance:
Overall, they do a great job. I wish we saw more of Keita, and I wish the camera work and outfits let us more easily see their dancing, but it was a cute, fun, lively performance. I don't have a ton to say about it, but I enjoyed it. Hanbin was the standout for me in the live performance -- though I'm telling you, Yoon Jongwoo stands out in the dance practice I linked above, and I think he would have stood out a lot live as well. Kamden, Keita, and Z-Bo did well too. I thought it was all really cute and cheerful.
TaeRae’s live vocals sounded great, because I love his vocal color, but still, they are just a bit shaky here and there. I hope he gets some more vocal training because he really could be great. Baekyhun wasn’t perfect when he debuted either and with more time, he has better learned how to control that powerful instrument he was born with. TaeRae needs to work on his mix, and his agility, but I know he can get there.
Afterwards, we find out that Zhang Shuai Bo got the lowest score, with an obviously punitive 402 points. You and I and he and all the other trainees know that this is the audience punishing Z-Bo for his “bad behavior” in earlier episodes, and I’m really sad for him, actually. I’ve come around to him -- yeah, it wasn’t cool to be passive aggressive with Solji, or to leave Woongki to sing the whole chorus by himself. Not cool, Z-Bo. But on further review of the situation, I think I was wrong to think that Z-Bo was being rude to Woongki in general -- Woongki has no animosity toward Z-Bo, so why should I? Plus, Z-Bo did a good job in his Switch performance and didn’t deserve such a low score. This was actually the first time that I really understood why some people are big fans of his -- he looked great on stage, actually! The dumb hair extensions really worked, the ugly pants looked good on him, I don’t know, he made it all work. But he seems resigned to his fate.
Who came in first? Well, obviously Park Hanbin, with 741 points.
This is his third straight time coming in first in the mission.
He’s slightly less amazed each time it happens.
He interviews that he’s starting to gain confidence. Well, I should hope so, lovey!
That brings us pretty much to the end of this recap, but I do want to say that if you like slightly weird kpop songs, give Switch another try, ok? Listen to the official studio audio and use headphones. It’s actually a pretty cool song. It’s ok if it’s not your thing, I totally respect that, but I think the live performances on this show are consistently hampered by a poor mix -- the vocals stand out like it’s karaoke, and that’s not great for your overall enjoyment of the song. So it really can’t hurt to just give the song another try when you can really hear all the cool touches on the low and high ends. I’ve come to really like it.
And that’s really the end!
See you in the next one, lovies! It's Say My Name .

new swtor babe alert 💙 still on Ord Mantell but I'm already attached to her, so I guess she's staying lol
her name's Sijan Idroxia, which is... not at all a Chiss name, so I'm assuming she's adopted. she hasn't told me yet. she has told me that everyone calls her "Roxie" which is even less Chiss of her
she's a trooper Commando because they're my favorite non-Force class, and her second class is probably gonna be Operative because stealth. or maybe Sniper. or Vanguard. oooor I might remake her as a Jedi of some flavor 😅 I haven't decided yet. but so far she's quite feisty, so that'll be fun :3
#sijan idroxia#may as well give her a tag#that expatriate armor really does look good on EVERYONE#I'm considering theron or arcann romances (or rass ordo) but I don't think I'll be able to hold out long enough to get to them#not with aric jorgan *right there* casually sniping people on the other side of the planet#I might stick with trooper just long enough to finish the weekly and switch to JK or JC to remove the temptation#(mostly because I miss my late-game-romance boys I struggle to make it that far on new characters)

Hidden Magic
This is my first Boy’s Planet fic. (To my followers from other fandoms Boy’s Planet is a kpop survival show that’s currently airing)
I would post it on ao3 but there are a bunch of parts that are mostly just summary.
It’s a Seok Matthew centric au. Featuring pre-relationship matthaobin (Seok Matthew, Sung Hanbin, and Zhang Hao) and magic.
This is an advance warning that it’s very long (10 pages in google docs), but I hope you enjoy it anyway!
Hanbin and Hao are princes of neighboring kingdoms. Both have strong magical abilities and are lauded as the best of their generation.
Hao is the most controlled fire mage in centuries. Fire is the element known for being easy to make but hard to control. Plenty of people can make huge fireballs, but they’re hard to direct, hard to prevent from burning down everything around them. So sure Hao can create infernos in seconds, but what’s more impressive is that he can keep them hovering safely around him waiting to be directed. And what really got people’s attention was when they discovered he can create tiny detailed scenes with little twists of his flames.
Hanbin is the most powerful water mage in centuries. Water is the element known for being easy to manipulate but hard to make powerful. Reforming water is no big deal, but most have to have that water already there and so are severely limited by location. So Hanbin's ability to reroute a river wasn’t taken too seriously, but the time when he created a rain cloud in the entrance hall was, and even more so the time when he almost flooded a foreign prince's castle.
Their two kingdoms have been at peace for centuries, but despite that, Hao and Hanbin have met face to face very few times. They write letters to each other, but both spend much of their time in lessons learning how to lead their kingdoms.
The last time they saw each other they were 14 and now, four years later, they’re adults and finally of age to attend the best magic academy in the nations.
Hao is sent with 7 attendants none of whom are old enough to actually attend classes. Thus they are given apprenticeships in the town around the school’s castle and they return to the castle in the evening once classes have finished.
Hanbin is sent with only one “attendant” who is just barely old enough to be enrolled. He’s been Hanbin’s manservant for years and everyone in their castle knows full well that Matthew is more of a best friend than a servant.
Matthew is a weird case, he clearly has magic and can do all of the basic non element specific magical exercises but can’t do any of the basic exercises for determining an element, let alone the ones for controlling them.
Hao gets along with Hanbin even better in person than over letters and quickly clicks with Matthew as well. The three are soon known throughout the school as a trio and it’s rare to see one without the others when they’re not in class.
A few months in and Hanbin and Hao are excelling exactly as expected. Matthew is doing amazingly at all the theory and non-elemental work he’s given, he seems to understand magic in a way no one’s seen before, but he still has yet to actually use an element. Since they don’t know what element he is, he takes classes from all four tracks. His teachers love him but are very worried about why he seems unable to progress.
One of the few classes the three boys all have together is Wild Magic, a class designed to teach them how to connect with and eventually use the magic found around them rather than their own.
See, most mages instinctively use their own magic to force the elements to do what they want. Good mages, like Hanbin and Hao, can make their magic connect with that of their element and guide the element so it does what they want. Great mages can simply reach out and control the element’s magic itself without needing to use their own. This is why Hanbin and Hao still have to take the class.
One day this class is taking a field trip to the nearby woods. They are supposed to spend the day surrounded by the elements and attempting to reach out and get a feel for what their elements’ magic feels like.
Hanbin and Hao have no problem doing this and so basically just get a free day to hang out in the woods. They get permission from the teachers to wander so long as they don’t go too far, and to take Matthew as long as he promises to keep his magic extended outwards the whole time. Afterall Matthew doesn’t exactly have a specific element to be focusing on connecting to. They’re told to be back by four or the teachers will assume something’s wrong and track them down.
The three have a great day, they climb trees, go swimming in a pond, have a picnic, and decorate each other with flowers.
It’s as they’re heading back to the group that things go wrong. Hao and Hanbin are princes and so while there are many things they know, which berries are safe to eat is not one of them. All the berries they’ve ever been around were the ones served with meals, so neither of them thinks twice about picking and eating some of the berries they pass.
Matthew is a little ways behind them. He felt guilty about having so much fun while his classmates were all working especially since he feels like he’s behind. So he decided to spend the walk back with his magic extended out as far as he can send it. (Which is pretty far since he’s spent years only able to work on things like distance and control of his own magic.)
When he catches up to them he’s too late to stop them from eating the berries that he knows full well are poisonous.
He reaches them as they collapse.
He quickly sends out a panicked burst of magic in the direction of their teachers, hoping that for once it’ll do something that’ll get their attention. He tries to get them to drink some water and then sits by their side holding their hands and desperately hoping that they’ll be okay.
Lee Seokhoon is surprised to feel something he’s never felt before, a foreign magic reaching out and tugging on him (partially on his magic but also partially on something deeper, something more core to his very self) pulling him in a direction with a clear feeling of panic. He doesn’t know why this fills him with such a sense of urgency, why he doesn’t even question the feeling before taking off in a sprint towards the source of that magic, using his own control of the air to push him faster.
He arrives to see Matthew tightly holding the hands of the two prodigies who are unconscious beside him with his eyes squeezed shut. His face is screwed up in worry and there are tears leaking out from under his eyelids. The three are surrounded by a faint glow. When Matthew opens his eyes Seokhoon notices just how pale he is.
As Seokhoon lifts the two with some air Matthew explains what happened while not letting go of the other boys’ hands. Seokhoon decides it would be cruel to separate Matthew from the other two. So he lifts all four of them up on a platform of air and flies them back to the school, dropping a note to the other teacher as they fly over.
When they reach the medical room Matthew is even paler than before and seems to be swaying back and forth.
The lead doctor looks the two boys over before doing a double take. She turns to Matthew and Seokhoon and confirms what type of berry they’d eaten. With the confirmation her forehead wrinkles, but she makes a paste and gets the two boys to swallow it.
She turns back to them and tells them that the type of berry they ate should have put the two on the edge of death by this point. That she should have had to rush if she wanted even the slightest chance to save them. But instead they had both seemed like they had only just eaten them, barely having any effects.
Just as she finishes speaking Matthew’s vision starts to go blurry, the room starts spinning and the ringing, that he’d been assuming was from his panic, suddenly spikes. He feels himself list to the side and then nothing.
Hao is the first to wake up. He blinks his eyes open confused as to why he’s so cold. He startles as he hears Ricky (the most senior of his attendants) loudly exclaim. Within seconds the doctor is fussing over him checking his vitals, asking him how he feels, and telling him not to leave his bed.
When she’s finished Hao looks over at Ricky and asks what happened. Ricky explains that Hanbin and he had eaten poisonous berries and had been unconscious for the past six hours. Hao looks where Ricky gestures and sees Hanbin laying in the next bed over.
As if all he needed was Hao’s eyes, Hanbin stirs and the cycle of getting fussed over repeats.
Once the doctor’s finished, Ricky explains everything again to Hanbin. When he seems to be finished speaking Hanbin nods before suddenly gasping and asking where Matthew is.
Hao quickly realizes how strange it is that Ricky is there for him but Matthew isn’t there for Hanbin.
Ricky seems nervous in the face of both of their rising panic. He tells them that Matthew had been with them when they passed out and had been brought back with them but had passed out from unknown causes.
The two are even more frantic and ask where he is. Ricky tells them that he was put in the quarantine room until the lead doctor can figure out what happened.
Even as he says that, the door opens and Matthew is brought in and put on a bed near the other wall.
Hanbin calls the doctor over and asks what’s wrong with Matthew. The doctor explains that for some reason Matthew seems to be suffering from magic exhaustion despite there having been no signs of him suddenly gaining an outlet for his magic in the spot Mr. Lee had found them.
Magic exhaustion is a nasty thing that most mages only experience when they’re very young and still learning their limits. It only takes one experience of being unable to get out of bed for a week, unable to control their element, for most to not push their magic too hard.
The doctor asks if he’d managed to control an element earlier that day. Hanbin and Hao confirm that he hadn’t and the doctor admits that she’s not entirely sure how Matthew had exhausted his magic then.
The two are asked to remain in the medical room for observation overnight and then they can go to classes the next day. Ricky offers to step in as Hanbin’s attendant while Matthew can’t, but Hanbin refuses. He’s only ever had one manservant and doesn’t want someone else filling Matthew’s spot.
Matthew sleeps for two days straight. Hanbin and Hao are far more distracted in their classes than anyone is used to. Neither sleeps very well and both have trouble eating. The only ones who can make either feel even a little bit better are the other.
But on the third day, while the two are at lunch, Matthew wakes up.
The two are immediately called for since Matthew is panicking at not being able to see if they’re okay. They rush to his side and, at the sight of them not only awake but flushed from running, Matthew calms.
When it’s explained what happened Matthew seems just as confused as the rest of them about where his magic had gone.
Lee Seokhoon soon joins them and asks Matthew if he saw what caused the strong magic that’d pulled him towards them. Matthew says he doesn’t know. Mr. Lee asks him to just recount everything that had happened in case there was something he just didn’t recognise.
Matthew recounts how he’d been walking behind the other two stretching his magic out when he’d seen them stop, pick some berries, and eat them. He’d sped up a bit to catch up when he’d realized what type of berries they were and started running. He’d reached them as they fell. He’d sent out a pulse of magic towards the teachers hoping to have some effect that would get their attention.
He interrupts his story to note that while he’d sent out a decent amount it was nowhere near enough to have exhausted him.
He continues explaining that he knew he couldn’t carry both of the boys so he had tried to mitigate the poison's effects with some water and then waited for help to arrive.
The doctor says that he had probably sent out more magic than expected in his panic.
Matthew retorts that he could still feel his magic swirling around with his panic as he tried to take care of the other boys.
The doctor says that it’s the only thing that makes sense since he hadn’t done any magic after that point.
Mr. Lee doesn’t say anything but a theory is brewing in his mind. There are simply too many unexplainable things about this situation and he needs to do some research.
Hanbin and Hao spend much of the rest of the week in the medical room by Matthew’s side. They bring him his homework and the notes that they (and many other students who all like Matthew) had taken for him. Hanbin also spends the week as a bit of a mess suddenly learning all the things he was used to relying on Matthew for.
When Matthew finally rejoins his classes he’s mobbed by his classmates who all want to tell him how much they missed him and how glad they are that he’s back. He appreciates it, but it’s also kind of a lot and he appreciates Hanbin and Hao who pull him off to a secluded corner of the castle for lunch and dinner.
The two are both more affectionate with him than normal. When he questions them about it they explain that they’d been really scared those two days he wouldn’t wake up. Hanbin goes even further. He’d realized over that week that while Matthew had sat by his sickbed many times over the years, He’d never actually seen Matthew sick. He couldn’t remember a time when Matthew hadn’t been right by his side.
Besides the newfound closeness, things go back to normal pretty soon. At least until their next wild magic lesson that is.
At the beginning of class Mr. Lee sets the students to trying to form the connection they’d found on their trip with smaller sources. Once established they were supposed to try to use their magic to guide the element’s magic in a push and pull.
While they were working on that he pulled Matthew aside and told him that he had some things for him to try. This wasn’t uncommon for Matthew, plenty of teachers gave him separate practical assignments to try to get him to find his element. What he was being asked to do was new though.
Mr. Lee wanted him to extend his magic and then just explain what he felt. He was a little confused as he didn’t see how it would help, since he had never been able to feel anything elemental no matter how hard he tried.
When he said that, Mr. Lee’s eyebrows raised. “Are you saying that you can feel something non-elemental?”
Matthew was even more confused, “Well yeah, I can feel pretty much everything non-elemental? But no matter how hard I search I can’t feel any of the elements. I thought you’d been told I couldn’t use an element yet?”
Mr. Lee was gaping at him “When you say you can feel pretty much everything what do you mean?”
“Like, I can feel the magic in the grass, and the trees, and the animals, and in you, and in my classmates—at least until it merges with their element—and when I have my magic out it’s like there’s a map of where everything is.”
“Matthew, why didn’t you ever tell anyone that you could feel all of that?”
“Well can’t everyone? Isn’t that why kids are supposed to practice extending and retracting their magic? So that they look past all that and find their element?”
Mr. Lee just sits there looking at him stunned for a second, before gently replying “No, most kids can’t feel anything when they extend their magic. Most just notice the real world effects of them pulsing their magic. This course is usually most people’s first time feeling anything with their magic. Part of the reason your princes are so special is that they learned how to feel their element early.”
“But then why can I feel so much?”
“I don’t know for sure, but I think you may not be an elemental mage, you might be some entirely different type of mage.”
“I’ve never heard of a non-elemental mage before though?”
“There are stories of people cropping up every few decades who’s powers don’t quite line up with the typical elements. I’ve never heard of one who couldn’t control any of the elements at all, but it’s not too hard to believe. With that being said though, I think we’d probably better bring this to the headmaster and the medical team after class.”
Matthew wanders back over to Hanbin and Hao in a daze, brushing off their concern and resting his head on Hanbin’s shoulder.
Hanbin and Hao share a concerned glance but since he doesn’t look distressed they silently agree to wait till later to bring it up.
After class Mr. Lee takes Matthew to the medical room where the headmaster is waiting with the lead doctor. They move into the doctor’s office so they can sit down while Mr. Lee explains to the headmaster what had happened on the trip and then about their conversation in class.
The headmaster leans back in her chair and rests her head on her hand “The stories about mages who’s magic was abnormal is certainly true. I went to school with one myself. But there are several unusual things here.
“First of all, the fact that your magic doesn’t sound like it has any overlap with the elements. My classmate was classified as a metal mage. She could control metals in the ground like an earth mage, but she could still control them even after they’d been forged with fire. What established that she wasn’t just a special earth mage was that she couldn’t control the non-metallic parts of the earth. But she could still control some of the earth.
“The second strange thing is that from your confusion about sensing it seems that you’ve always had the ability to use your magic to connect
“Which leads to the third thing: you can seemingly feel other people’s magic and control it similarly to how we control the elements.”
At Matthew’s confused look she explained, “There was nothing there that could’ve pulled Mr. Lee’s magic like he describes. Nothing, that is, except you. Mages can only feel that which we’re able to connect with. You being able to feel other people’s magic suggests you can connect with it. I believe that you sent your magic out with the intention of getting a teacher to come help and so your magic connected with Mr. Lee’s and convinced it to push him towards you with all the same urgency you were feeling. Having never used your magic to connect before you probably used too much, causing the magical exhaustion you suffered.”
The room was quiet for a minute after she finished before both Matthew and Mr. Lee started to speak. Mr. Lee gestured for Matthew to go first.
“I wasn’t out of magic!” Matthew exclaims, “When I was waiting for help I could feel my magic reaching out. I could still feel Hanbin and Hao’s magic flickering as they fought the poison. I wouldn’t have been able to reach out like that if I’d used up my magic.”
Mr. Lee cut in before the headmaster could respond, “I’m also not entirely sure that Matthew’s powers are as simple as being magic itself. For one thing, if it was then he should still be able to feel the element’s magic. And when he pulled at me, it didn’t feel like he was just pulling at my magic. Sure that was a part of it, but there was some deeper part of me also being pulled.”
The doctor spoke for the first time, “If we’re considering all the oddities of the situation then we should also consider the state that Prince Zhang and Prince Sung were in when they arrived. They really should have been much worse off than they were.”
Mr. Lee spoke up again thoughtfully, “When I first arrived on the scene I could’ve sworn I saw the boys glowing. I’d passed it off as a trick of the light, but I wonder if it had something to do with their state.”
As they’d talked the headmaster’s eyes had narrowed. “Matthew, you said you could feel the Princes’ magic fluctuating while they were poisoned, right?”
At his nod she continued, “And yet there was no fire or water reacting to it. No internal signs that they’d been using their elements to fight the poison.”
She had directed the second statement to the doctor and at her nod picked back up, “So perhaps Matthew wasn’t actually feeling their magic but something else. Something that maybe he then used the rest of his magic to control, preventing the poison from spreading and draining him. Something unconnected to any of fire, earth, air, or water. Something that, if Mr. Lee is to be believed, is connected to both someone’s magic and to themself.”
She paused for a moment, a funny expression covering her face, before proposing, “Could Matthew be a…life mage?”
They sat in silence as the idea sank in. The adults were trying to comprehend what exactly that would mean. Matthew was fighting with just how right that felt.
Surely that couldn’t be right? He was just the kid who couldn’t properly do magic, not some powerful mage with a rare ability. And yet there was some part of him deep down that screamed out that this was exactly who he was.
The headmaster suddenly stood up and walked across the office to one of the potted flowers on the window sill. After asking the doctor if she could use it for an experiment, she brought it over to the desk. She asked Matthew if he could feel it with his magic. When Matthew said he could, she asked him to do what they’d been working on in the Wild Magic class, reach out and try to connect with it.
Matthew had seen most of his classmates struggle with this—he wasn’t counting Hanbin or Hao since they were prodigies and he obviously wasn’t one of those—so he was surprised when it was as simple as brushing up against what he could feel a little more intentionally than normal.
The flower suddenly perked up and, when he sent a little more magic towards it, it grew taller, sprouted several more leaves, and bloomed more than it had been before.
Matthew pulled his magic back and looked up at the others. They were looking at the flower in shock. It seemed to confirm their suspicions.
What Matthew didn’t know was that it was incredibly rare for someone to have such good control over their magic the first time they used it, let alone the first time they used it by connecting. And what the teachers didn’t realize was that, while this was the first time Matthew had—intentionally—used his magic and gotten a result, it wasn’t his first time using his magic. He’d spent years honing his reach and control while trying to find his element.
The headmaster told him to go rejoin his friends as it was dinner time. She told him to keep attending the classes he was enrolled in and that she’d get him a new schedule better tailored to his skills by the end of the week. She also promised that by the next day his teachers would all know what was happening so they could adjust his classes in the meantime.
When Matthew arrived at dinner Hanbin and Hao’s concern from earlier had escalated into full fledged fear. They peppered him with questions about why he’d missed afternoon classes and where Mr. Lee had taken him.
He promised that he’d explain when they were in private and not in the middle of the entire student body.
They reluctantly agreed and sped through eating the rest of their food.
The three went back to Hanbin’s room, where Matthew explained what had happened both in and after class.
The two were understandably shocked, but then a grin suddenly broke across Hanbin’s face.
Hanbin launched himself at Matthew, “You’re saying that you’ve found your magic!”
It had been Hanbin who’d always comforted Matthew about his inability to control an element. Hanbin who’d wiped his tears when he’d been bullied. Hanbin who promised to always be his friend no matter whether his magic never worked right.
It was Hanbin who was the first one to realize just how big of a deal this was for Matthew. And so it was into Hanbin’s shoulder that Matthew finally let himself cry.
He cried for all the years of heartbreak that could’ve been avoided. For the relief at not being broken. For the fear that they’d turn around and say that they’d been wrong and he really didn’t have proper magic.
When the tears started Hao quickly moved to rub his back and whisper how proud of Matthew he was. Matthew soon fell asleep, tired out from the crying and all the shock of the day.
Hanbin and Hao picked him up and carried him to his room, which was attached to Hanbin’s. As he slept they made a promise that they’d support him through his journey to learn his new power.

The twitterers are mad about grown women liking yujin and like? Do you think all his votes are from people under 18? All that money being spent? Do you still not see why he should stay in yuehua's basement a little longer? If he debuts it just means more creeps fangirling over a child on main. If you're uncomfortable now, just wait.

I’ve never met a Virgo man before hehe but is the stereotype true that they’re all perfectionists??
there are always other factors that come into play so I don't like to blanket statement, but typically yes!!
#its not always in the way youd maybe think tho#my virgo boy is a perfectionist with his design work to the point where hes switched careers entirely cause he was never satisfied#but he also gets frustrated when things and situations dont play out as he envisaged them to / when things go wrong#much more so than i do!!#i think you can see it a lot in how i write jk#virgos are ruled by mercury#which is the planet of communication#and while theyre good at communicating logic and simple straightforward fact#theyre less adept at conveying more abstract thoughts#such as FEELINGS!!!!#and cause theyre perfectionists and dont wanna get it wrong they often choose to simply not comminicate at all!#so yeah#still luv virgos<3#my faves <33#ask

ᯓ★ FREAK LIKE ME! — GOJO SATORU

INFO...gojo x fem!reader, quiet!reader, handjob, edging, kinda sub!gojo, dom!reader, establish relationship, reader reads smut/watches porn, overstim, not proofread
OTHER...likes and reblogs are appreciated
thanks for the request anon, I hope you enjoy!
Gojo Satoru was known for being the rich, handsome, popular kid who always had girls fawning over him everywhere he went. He’d get any girl he want just by flashing a smile and before he knew it, they’re panties dropped to the floor. College was fun when you were going out every other night, fucking this girl and that girl, because who cares? Surely not him. But one thing no one anticipated, not even Gojo himself, was getting a girlfriend who was quite literally the opposite of him. You were so adorable to him, different from the rest, too buried in your books and work to care about anything else going on.
Gojo noticed very quickly that you were the shy, quiet type. Everytime he’d try to kiss you, even compliment you, you’d turn away with a flustered look. “Awe, is my baby shy?” He’d chuckle, kissing your cheek. It was something he wasn’t used to at all, but he liked it.
You’d bought a new dress from the mall and Gojo demanded that you show him, practically pleading on his hands and knees when you shrugged your shoulders. Eventually you gave you in, walking out from the bathroom, hands clasped together and head hung low. “Do you like it?” You quietly asked.
“Like it? Baby, I love it! I’m resisting the temptation to just bend you over and fuck you right here!” His eyes widen in surprise. He chuckles at the way you turn your head away from him.
“Toru! Don’t say stuff like that! You scold him while hiding your face. Gojo thinks you’re the most innocent thing known to man, getting all shy over the smallest things. But what your clueless boyfriend didn’t know is that you weren’t some innocent, quiet girl who had zero clue about sex or intimacy in general. You watched porn, read smut, and fantasized about all the nasty things you wanted to do to your boyfriend.
It wasn’t until one day you decided it was time to get over your fears and show your boyfriend what he was missing out on.
“Baby—nnngh, ah—s-slow down…fuck!” His voiced cracked, head falling back into the crook of your neck as you pumped his cock from behind, his precum messily smearing over his length. “W-where—mmph—did this even come from?” He chuckled, hips stuttering when you squeezed the head of his cock tighter. His body slouched between your legs, chest heaving up and down. “You’re gonna make me fucking cum already!”
You wickedly giggled in his ear and Gojo absolutely has no idea how to feel in this moment. Who were you and what did you do to his sweet girl? “You’re leaking so much, Toru. You’ve been thinking about this, huh?” You darted your tongue out, licking a stripe on his skin. His entire body shuddered in your hold, eyes clenching shut when you ran your thumb over his throbbing red tip.
“Yes, yes, I’ve been thinking about it—hah!” He nods his head, his nails digging into the plush of your thighs as you bring him on the brink of his orgasm before slowing down your movements. “No, no, baby don’t tease me like that!” He whines, bucking his hips into your hand.
“You’re so needy! Does my pretty boy wanna cum?” You smirk against his skin, peppering small kisses from his jaw to his neck. He quickly nods his head, whimpering like a bitch in heat. Your hand firmly wraps around his throat and Gojo swears he’s sent to another planet. Where did you learn all this from? From who? From what? It’s like you switched personalities. But he loves it, craves it even.
“Oh my god,” he groans, eyes rolling back when you squeeze the base of his cock and slowly drag your hand up his shaft in circular motion. “Please, please, please,” he begs. His cheeks flushed a baby pink while drool forms at the corner of his mouth.
“Such a good boy, aren’t you? Already begging to cum.” You began to pump your hand faster, his legs shaking and hips stuttering. You wrap your legs around his, restricting him from moving any more than he already is.
His abs tense up, body jolting while his lewd moans echo off the walls of your bedroom. “Baby, baby, I’m gonna—shit, shit…gonna cum,” he whimpers. His brows in a concentrated furrow, too focused on the way your hand is wrapped around his thick, veiny cock. “C-cumming,” he’s barely able to groan out, his entire body going limp when you squeeze his throat harder. Your mischievous giggles send the blood rushing straight to his dick and milliseconds later spurts of his cum shoot from his aching tip. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” His hips are shaking, globs of cum coating his abs and your hands, using it as lube.
“You’re still cumming,” you chuckle, his hips writhing beneath you. Gojo has never came this hard in his life and his dick was still pulsating in your hand.
“S-so sensitive,” he cries out, gritting his teeth as tears form in the corner of his eyes. His breath hitches and he swears he could see stars in his vision.
“Want me to stop? Is it too much, baby?” Your sultry tone sends shivers down his spine. He shakes his head no, biting down on his bottom lip, a metallic taste filling his mouth. “That’s what I thought.”

1:15 Checking In With the Boys
We start off with some “hang out with the boys time.”
They’re rehearsing until late in the night. They’re so tired they can barely move. They’re eating snacks, they’re putting blankets over each other. There’s a budding bromance between Hui and Gyuvin. Yoo Seung Eon farts at Keita, which (1) indicates that Keita is, in fact, good friends with the other boys contrary to how he’s been edited in the past and (2) ensuring that Yoo Seung Eon will not make Top9, per my theory about smells. Jay and Yoon Jongwoo compare notes -- Jay is sitting on a bed that has Na Kamden’s nametag on it -- and Jongwoo says he feels like he’s growing from this. He sounds exhausted. We see many of the trainees practicing their weak spots -- Z-Bo is working on his lyrics, Tae Rae is dancing in the stairway. It’s actually pretty interesting insight into their states of mind.
3:38 Back to Showtime
We return to the performance night. The judges are talking about how much better the trainees have gotten in general, and the editors use their conversation as a way to sort of review the first two performances of the night, which we say in the previous episode. They all agree that Supercharger did a great job. Their praise for En Garde seems focused mostly on Gunwook and Gyuvin.
5:41 Time for Some Filler
Star Master Key announces that before we can see more performances, we will be watching a video! Yay…?
The boys get sent somewhere for a secret mission, and someone comes out, already singing -- it’s Jo Kwon, the leader of 2AM and noted high heel enthusiast, I guess. If you’re not familiar with them, 2AM formed at the same time as 2PM. The idea was that 2AM would perform ballads and 2PM would do dance songs. (You know at least one 2PM song -- “My House.”) I don’t really know a lot about 2AM, and this is my first time “meeting” Jo Kwon, too.
Jo Kwon is there to reveal a surprise mission -- the trainees will pair up and perform a scene from musical theater, specifically, a scene from the musical of The Little Prince.
They have two special guests who will judge: Jung Dong Hwa and Nam WooJu, neither of who I recognized. The stakes are high -- the trainees will be given a rank out of 4 stars, and if they win 4 stars, they get a huge collection of cosmetics and promotion on social media. The best trainee of the day will get big posters of his face hanging in store windows all around Korea. That’s huge.
They pair up and have to hold hands with their partners, which is an opportunity for skinship, and for Matthew and Haruto to speak English, and this weird part where Hui is forced to choose between all the trainees who want to work with him, and he chooses Gyuvin. Relevant side note: Hui has actually acted in musical theater before, because he’s a 30 year old man who shouldn’t be on this show.
They see the scene that they’ll be performing, and it looks really difficult -- tons and tons and tons of lyrics to learn. You, dear reader, are going to learn a bit of Korean in this scene -- swibji ahna (sounds like they’re saying “ship-shee ahna”) -- which means “it’s not easy.” The performances begin at 20:45.
I’ll summarize the pairings and results below, because I don’t want to spend too long on this:
Yoo Seung Eon is with Lee Junghwan, and they both get 2 stars, mainly for not knowing the words. Wow, going last here is a huge advantage if you’re graded based on whether or not you’ve learned the lyrics.
Park Gunwook and Han Yujin also both get two stars, I think
Yoon Jongwoo and Keita- Jongwoo raps (looking at the lyrics) while Keita beatboxes, and they both get 1 star, I think
Ricky and Ollie - they get 0 stars, probably have lyrics problems
Sung Hanbin is with Zhang Hao, and girls worldwide actually explode watching them hold hands. They do great, so great I almost wonder if the show gave them the lyrics the day or two before, I mean, wow. They both get All Star
Hiroto and Takuto - Takuto is stuck with the Fox role, and really can’t sing it at all, and this is a form of torture for all of us.
Kim Ji Woong is with Kum Junhyeon - Junhyeon is stuck with the fox part and has trouble memorizing the lyrics, and they kind of go off the rails.
Hui is with Kim Gyuvin, and of course Hui seems like a professional because he IS one, and shouldn’t be on this show, and they both get All Star
We don’t see:
Haruto and Matthew
Park Hanbin and Seo Won
Na Kamden and Jay
Kim TaeRae and Chen Kuan Jui
Cha Woongki and Lee Seunghwan
Wang Zi Hao and Zhang Shuai Bo
It’s especially weird that we don’t see Kim TaeRae and CKJ because CKJ gets All Star. Also I wanted to see TaeRae doing things. I also especially wanted to see Woongki and Haruto. I get it that they can’t show the same scene 14 times in a row, but they could have put it online, and they didn’t, so screw you, MNET.
The winners get nice beauty products from Olive Young, which is like the Korean Sephora, a big deal kind of store with tons of locations. And Hui wins the top prize, which means he gets to have his photo up in stores all around the country. Fun fact: Olive Young already sells a few albums by Pentagon! So Hui’s photos have probably already been up in Olive Young stores! Because Hui shouldn’t be on this show! Sigh.
I swear, I’m a Pentagon fan and I like Hui. I just… you know. You get it, right?
30:00 Switch
The boys come out and introduce themselves as Smushies, here to smush our hearts. Consider my heart fully smushed already, you cuties.
In the rehearsal footage, the focus is primarily on the trouble that TaeRae is having with the dancing. Yes, of course he is. He’s a main vocal. Main vocals traditionally need to work harder at dancing. Also, it’s hard to “dance powerfully” when hitting the B above middle C, a fact that the psychopath dance teacher seems completely unaware of, since the only things he knows about are (a) dancing and (b) completely destroying the emotional well being of others.
Park Hanbin takes over leadership from Na Kamden and teaches everyone how to dance.
The performance is super cute and cheery, with a set designed to look like a video game. Their bright pinks and greens are such a nice change from the all black landscape of kpop these days.Even if the song isn't your style, I think the performance is so cute that it deserves a watch. I actually prefer the dance practice to the stage performance, because I feel like you can see the dancing so much more and they’re actually really great. Also, I actually kind of like the song, if you listen to the official audio. The mix in the live version doesn't do the song justice.
Afterwards, we find out that Zhang Shuai Bo got the low score, with an obviously punitive 402 points. Poor Z-Bo -- I think he did a good job in the performance, and it’s a shame that the audience just… hates him. The high score is obviously Park Hanbin, with 741 points.

49:30 Say My Name
It’s time for the show to focus back on Soek Matthew for a while, and the whole Say My Name team. Well, we barely see Han Yujin but maybe that’s good. Keep that boy safe.
The gist of what’s going on is that Matthew still isn’t handling it well that his team wants him to be Sub Vocal 2 instead of Sub Vocal 1, which they think should go to Yoo Seung Eon. Matthew is really defensive and upset for a while, and makes up some bullshit about wanting to sing in English for his mom (I’m sorry, but it is complete bullshit), but in the end he realizes that the team is what matters most, and he pulls it together, and good for him. I don’t hate the guy or anything, to be clear. It’s just that when something is bullshit, it’s bullshit, you know?
In the end, they put on a cute performance with no mistakes. It’s not my kind of song, but it’s cute and they do a great job. Matthew is the standout in terms of stage presence, Seung Eon does a fantastic job with the vocals, and Hanbin wins the audience vote with 826 points. (We don’t find out who came in last.)

1:09:45 Over Me
The gist of what’s going on is that Zhang Hao isn’t the best leader because he’s trying too hard to be nice and listen to everyone, so the team is getting frustrated. Also, it seems that they’re a little embarrassed about how sexy the song is. Then Zhang Hao requests a meeting with Solji, who advises him to be firmer and more in control as a leader, which he does, and then things get better.
The performance goes fine, even if I think most of them hold back a little and don’t really pull off the sexy concept. I think Chen Kuan Jui is the only one who fully commits to what he’s doing, and I think that Jay’s vocals are a highlight when you’re listening to it.
Then audience puts Jay in last place with 485 votes, which upsets me really deeply, like, I have been stomping around my house swearing I’m going to just stop watching. But of course that’s not really true. Zhang Hao comes in first place with 852 points.

1:33:00 The final results
The boys gather to find out which team won the audience vote and will get the benefit. Heartbreakingly, Switch team thinks they have a chance to win, and hope to at least not come in last. But they come in last.
When the Over Me team finds out they won, they’re, you know, exquisitely happy. Chen Kuan Jui pretty much breaks down.
Ollie, Woongki, and Z-Bo congratulate him.
Remember how I said, over and over again, that people vote with their genitals? People vote for the thing that gives them sparkles in their pants? Well, Switch team was cute and charming and I personally liked it, even if no one else did, but it wasn’t sexy, so it came in dead last.
Supercharger was a tiny bit sexier, so it came in second. En Garde was trying to be sexy, and had Gyuvin and Gunwook, who people find sexy, so it came in third. Say My Name was “cute sexy”, like NCT’s Touch. But Over Me was overtly sexy, and won.
Remember, when I say “sexy”, I don’t necessarily mean that I find it sexy. I mean that it supposed to be sexy or is likely to be perceived as sexy.
Consider, what was the sexiest performance of the following lists:
Backdoor, Hot Sauce, Kill This Love, Love Me Right, Danger, and Burning Up
It was Backdoor, specifically the one with Kim JiWoong lifting up his shirt. That’s also the song that won the night.
Tomboy, Man in love, Limousine, and Not Spring?
Tomboy was the only one that was at all sexy. And it won.
Love Killa, Home, Feel Special, and Butterfly
It’s pretty obvious which one is the sexiest -- Love Killa -- which, not coincidentally, won.
Law, Zoom, Gang and Rush Hour
Law was definitely the sexiest of that group, and it won.
Before this battle started, I predicted that Over Me or Say My Name would win. I wasn’t totally sure if sexiness could overcome Sung Hanbin, Matthew, Kim JiWoong, and Han Yujin all in one group, but it did. That’s the power of sexiness.
I don’t know, my friends. I liked Switch best, I guess. Is it because it had Park Hanbin and Kim TaeRae and Keita? Maybe? But I genuinely like the song (the studio version) and it was so cute to see bright happy colors for ONCE. It was never going to win, of course.
I liked Over Me too, of course. And I’m glad they won, because those 200,000 benefit points will help ensure that Jay makes it into the finale.
I think at this stage of the show, the trainees are all tired and anxious, and it’s starting to show in their performances. I also think the audience has largely already made up their mind as to who they’re voting for.
I still like all these trainees as human beings, yes, even Matthew and Z-Bo, and just want all of them to be ok.
And that’s about it for this recap! We’re at the home stretch -- the finale is on April 20th!
I’ll see you in the next one! It’ll be another elimination episode, featuring hours and hours of filler! Whee!! (And those individual song posts are drafted and should be up soonish.)
🥰Thanks as always for reading! 🥰Right now, though you can't see, I'm holding up a handmade sign with your name on it! 🥰Yes, you! 🥰You! 🥰The one reading this! 🥰RIGHT NOW! 🥰
