I regret propounding it for so long cause it was so good and the fact we could've resd thus earlier if it wasn't for my ak autism agh

I bought boyhood's end the day it released and never touched it then because of my arknights autism so I pushed myself to actually try it cause I got the deluxe edition since the demo made me so autisitc and I was counting days until it finally came out and so I sat in a vc and va'd it with my bf @sekaiaii and sibling figure and best friend @zurozurp (there were also our two other friends who were brother but I don't think they were really there with the game and just did it cause we wanted to hut later on they left and we went trough it alone then) but anyways I sat there fucking sobbing with the two of them cause of the ending and like oh my god I love it so much. If you want a new interesting game to try put that will emotionally ruin you then do try bhe it is so good I am not kidding. Getting chapter 2 on December for sure. Also on a side note it's the same creator as nso like I did not know the creator of nso could create something so gay lmfao

Something I find interesting about the Giovanni/Campanella relationship thus far is how Campanella speaks as if he's known Giovanni for a very long time.

For those who don't know, WSS pulled Giovanni and Campanella straight out of the Kenji Miyazawa novella: Night on the Galactic Railroad. In that story, Giovanni and Campanella are estranged childhood friends who happen to reunite on a train going across the Milky Way. However, at this present moment in time, I doubt that our Giovanni and Campanella have met before. (Especially because WSS have gone out of their way to subvert Night on the Galactic Railroad, but thats a topic for another post.)

Rather than a past connection, I think Campanella's interest in Giovanni may be an extension of his admiration for Ihatov. Though, a lot of dialogue in Episode One alludes to Campanella having a parasocial attachment to Giovanni. He seems to have been paying attention to him for a while:

I don't have much to say about this as of present except for what it says about Campanella. The world of BHE has embraced constant survelliance. The eyes of Karellen are the eyes of society. No one knows this better than Campanella, whose high human-score has turned him into a celebrity in the strange pseudo-society that is Prima Zeus Galactic Academy. Perhaps its so normal for him that he has no problem turning this behavior onto Giovanni? Or maybe he gets some kind of catharsis from being the spectator instead of the spectacle?
