listen, i never hate on queer headcanons, but i feel like wayne being a gay ally is a really important part of his character. all his gay ships - rayne, bowayne, wamian - are cute, and the thought of him being overly supportive before realizing he is gay or bisexual himself is so cute, but there is potential for an even better headcanon: aroace wayne.

hear me out. listen. julia tries to manipulate him into getting with her in order to get back at bowie (and raj), but fails miserably because he associates everything she says with hockey and barely pays any attention to anything romantic she tries to initiate. he sees all these cute girls liking him - thanks to hockey - but he never likes them back. he sees bowie and raj and thinks maybe he’s gay, but that fails too. he just is not into romance and that’s so much more than okay.

i’m not going to tell anyone what to headcanon - god knows all my hcs are unpopular as hell - but please consider aroace (+ big gay ally) wayne

bc we are talking about who we thought the lgbt couple was gonna be, i actually predicted that it was gonna be rajbow bc i knew terry mcgurrin was a huge advocate for gay people in hockey and i remembered that freshtv said something along the lines of "there will be two LGBTQ+ characters in a relationship" when announcing the season (Bowie was going to be one of them from this statement alone) . What made me predict rajbow instead of bowayne was the fact that raj's hair looked more gay to me. my gaydar never fails gd bless

for your raynebow fic, is the next chapter going to be in bowies pov since c1 was in waynes sort of and s2 was in rajs? id just love to see how hes feeling and thinking on everything.

also will we be getting bowayne? i know this is raynebow and rayne build up, but is it going to be wayne dating raj, and raj dating bowie, or all three dating each other? id love to see bowie become more fond of wayne, it seems like hes sick of him.

Next chapter is Wayne POV heavily focused on Bowayne :) I'm going to stick to Wayne and Raj POV for the majority of this fic.

Rajbow will still get attention because their relationship needs development!! but Bowayne and Rayne are also going to have their own arcs too.

bowie isn't sick of wayne he's just used to having all the attention from a boyfriend be on him and no one else. he'll develop past it XD
