Akiren choosing to wear a wedding dress for Akeshu/ShuAke wedding:
very late Part 2 to this post below:
I've had this sitting in a Google Doc for a while, I've just been too lazy to post it
(Mementos Mission Manga Scene Spoiler warning)
So while Unapologetically spoiling myself on Persona 5 content, I came across a Manga Spinoff called Mementos Mission. There's a scene where Akira (Protagonist’s name in the Manga canon is Akira Kurusu), teams up with Akechi on an investigation and he's advised to come in disguise and Akira’s version of disguise is “Oh, I just happened to have a female cop uniform in my wardrobe, along with curly hair extensions, lipstick and makeup. I'll wear that.”
Akechi reacts like most people would, and after recovering from a laughing fit, questions what the heck he's wearing.
And Akira is so nonchalant about it “You said to come in disguise and this is what I had on hand 🤷‍♀️.”
The outfit is also available as a DLC costume pack in Persona 5 Dancing In Starlight.
Point is, Akiren canonically crossdresses and has no issue with it.
So what if he willingly wears a wedding dress to an Akeshu/ShuAke wedding scenario?
Originally, the Wedding Dress option was just supposed to be plan B. If for some reason the Metaverse proves to be too dangerous to hold the wedding and they're forced to have it in the real world, Akira could just crossdress as a female and take the role of The Bride.
Luckily Metaverse Wedding is manageable enough. During the private dressing process the Girls took it upon themselves to play Bridal Boutique for Akiren.
Fast-forward to the Wedding. Akechi is waiting at the altar, Grim Reaper officiating (it was originally supposed to be Yaldabaoth but Grim showed up and it seemed letting him be a part of the ceremony was the only way not to get K.O.ed by him). Random assortment of shadows sitting in the crowd that the group managed to convince threaten to attend. Sophia is playing the role of the pipe organ, humming a wedding tune. Ryuji is one of Akiren’s best men, Yusuke is busy in the role of Wedding photographer—-um, “Artist”. Since cameras don't work in the Metaverse, Yusuke has to hand photograph the moments by painting them which he is more than enthusiastic about, this man is going to paint the most detailed works of art ever, who needs a silly camera?
Morgana is on ring bearer duty. unfortunately since Sojiro can't enter the Metaverse, Cop PeePaw Zenkichi Is playing the role of “father that gets to walk Akiren down the aisle”
Jose is the flower boy.
Sumire is one of the girls not playing “Bridal Boutique” and is instead one of Akechi's best—-women? She felt bad for him barely having any Bests on his side so she insisted. The rest of Akechi's Bests entourage consists of docile cognitive beings of Sae Niijima, and a couple of his agents.
Since fashion isn't her area of expertise, Futaba also willingly opted out of playing Wedding Boutique and stood next to Ryuji in Akiren’s Bests line up, along with Lavenza.
Akechi didn't have anyone close to walk him down the Aisle. Shido was an obvious no go. “Absolutely Mcfucking Never In This Lifetime Or In Hell, Docile Cognitive puppet version or not” - in Akechi's own words.
So Igor happily decided to fill that void. The long nosed hunchback was an unsettling sight for Akechi but Akiren reassured he's a decent dude.
The moment comes, doors swing open for the second Groom to reveal-
Akiren in full wedding dress and veil, hair extensions to further sell the feminine look, along with black lipstick. He's wearing a casual warm smile, absolute zero sense of shame in this man.
Zenkichi and Ryuji do double takes, Futaba bursts out in a fit of cackles.
Behind Akiren, the girls, minus Futaba and Sumire, stand behind him, all with varying expressions from defeated, embarrassed, and holding in laughter.
“For the record, we didn't force him to wear this. Once we managed to convince him that wearing his Shujin school uniform is not appropriate attire to get married, he suggested a wedding dress. Despite us explaining it's not necessary and a Tuxedo will do just fine, he was already picking out dress options, so we just went along with it.”
“He also pulled black lipstick and curly black hair extensions out of his pocket and ominously claimed “My time has come.” He wouldn't give us an answer as to where he got them from, I can only assume they've been in his pocket all day.”
Akechi just lets out a defeated sigh, and facepalms. Oh, that's right. His soon to be husband is a fucking dumbass
A lovable, amusing, cute, undeniably sexy dumbass, but a dumbass all the same. But—--he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Week 40 in my rotational play. Here are some Pointoutbacker updates.
First of, I'm very surprised I've managed to play 40 whole weeks in the same world without my game bursting at the seams.
😂
There are more girls than boys being born (11 girls, 8 boys). Either it levels out in the future or more sims will be LGBT+ (neat!) or have foreign spouses (which I don't really want to allow because of population expansion issues)
We have a psychiatrist (Ifeoma Eze) but not a doctor (the family with the sim I want to be a doctor won't be played until like week 60 lol.)
We have a functioning tax and government benefit system. We also have a full fledged functioning bank.
We have a running resort owned by someone!
We have one teen (Margot Le Pen)
We have 3 connected travel worlds that have been travelled to more than once (Champs Les Sims, Suvadiva Resort, and Cruise Ship --- might be upped to 6 when I introduce travel to Ziwabode, China and Al Medina)
Population started at 60 and is now at 79 (expecting a life time cap of 120-150.)
We do not have a priest but we have a full church. (Sim I want to be priest has not been played.)
I've only played 13/30 placed families.
We have a band, but not a local singer pop star (sim that will fill this role hasn't been played yet.)
We have a functional grocery store.
Dr*gs and g*ns are getting sold regularly without a clear mafia boss (sim to fill this role hasn't been played yet.)
Only 4/30 families have pets (playing wished based, and only animal lovers seem to enjoy pet ownership?)
We have a lifeguard.
We have a teacher and daycare worker.
We have a lawyer.
We have a personal trainer.
------
Things I'm excited to see for the future if my save lives to see the day:
first divorce
first wedding
first lawsuit
Ken Lamar (mechanic) owning the gas station.
Priest
Singer
Functional boutique.
A bakery run by resident sim.
Functioning real estate office.
Maybe start a flower shop?

I'm gonna have a mini rant.
What the fuck is Natalia's problem and how long until she gets those "cement shoes" Nina threatened Adrian with?
Her daughter was outed publicly, and honestly seemed traumatized. Not to mention, she heard her mother talk about her and other LGBtQ+ people in such a disgusting way.
And all she can fucking think of? Blaze's career.
She doesn't fucking see her daughter as anything but a damn brand/billboard.
Like, fuck Ava for assisting in the outing of Blaze, but fuck Natalia more.
And Sonny?!
What in the hell is wrong with you?! The bitch who said disgusting shit about your daughter (and her own) was there and instead of running her off, you have a conversation and smile and act flirty still?
Fuck. You.
Honestly, I would've loved to see Alexis give Natalia the smck down she was wanting to give.
Please...
Please salvage this by making there be consequences for that bitch.
Have blaze fire her and go no contact. Have people refuse to serve her in places.
(Lots of local shops/boutiques have protested anti-lgbt policies by using the same law allowing people to refuse them service to refuse service right back. Let Natalia's favorite salon people refuse to do her hair because one is LGBT+. Have Carly and Olivia remove her from the metro court because of LGBtQ+ staff not feeling safe with her. Just... Something.)
(or better yet, have Blaze's real fans tell Natalia to fuck off. That *she* is the problem.)
Just something besides Sonny's stupid talking too.

could we get more information about PJ he’s really cool c:
sure i posted about him a few days ago but it’s probably buried by now, full thing under the read more so it doesnt take up dash space also reposted the only art i have of him belowwww
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pj’s full name is Pj parker and he is “silk weaver” a spiderman that doesn’t go by spiderman, he’s based on furry silk orb spiders and he shoots natural webs directly from underneath his finger nails, these webs r razor sharp and strong as steel, he doesn’t know this at the start but he has the ability to soften and harden his web, and this ability is tied to his stability and emotional state
pj is from an abusive household / is poor in a really bad school and thinks very little of himself and has bad anxiety, the first few times he uses his webs he’s unable to make them anything but razor sharp and solid often leading to him harming ppl hes trying to help accidentally or causing a lot of property damage, hes interested fashion and design and enjoys sewing and wants to make a sustainable/ high quality clothing brand one day but can’t afford fashion school, so hes an unpaid intern for a big new york fashion brand and essentially works in a sweat shop and stays there long hours after school to avoid his mother, he’s in denial about being gay and acts hyper masculine at school and with his “friends” and is very quiet / goes mute often
his suit has metal claws / nails with an opening underneath them to allow him to shoot his web comfortably, and his version nyc is colder than usual and snows / rains heavy a lot year round so his suit has a half fur coat top to keep his upper body warm, there are also multiple pockets hidden with the fur to hold important items, in suit hes more talkative and is more of a grey vigilante compared to other spidermen bc he does kill some of his opponents depending on what they’ve done, he likes riding on top of subway trains for fun and sketches the city view a lot / people he sees on the train or walking around for fashion inspiration
also the scar / gash across his face is from the night he got bit, he accidentally shot his razor web at himself and split his cheek / nose / eyebrow open so a lot of the early story he wears multiple bandages going up his face, his “aunt may” is a retired drag queen who he meets accidentally on the subway on his way home from his intern job, she sees his drawing of outfits and compliments them and gives him her card to her boutique / bar, she used to design clothes for top brands herself but was black listed after coming out as trans (she is nonbinary and identified as both man and woman but when she started presenting feminine her career started to tank) now she takes care of lgbt ppl in the city, host clothing drives, and owns the building to her bar always offering a place to stay for people like pj
she knows he’s gay but wants him to figure it out on his own terms, shes the first person he runs to the night he’s bitten and she patches him up and promises to keep his secret, aaaand that’s all i got so far
tldr: scrawny poor weird gay kid dreams of being a fashion icon and gets forced into heroism

My non-binary/pride mood board! My caregiver/partner and I both identify as non-binary.
I worked really hard on this one, it has the most items I've ever put in a moodboard yet:) a lot of the items on here are from Lil Kink Boutique!
The diapie AKA "squishy" is one of the original ones I've tried, it's a Dotty Diaper Pride 3.0 I believe. I really enjoyed this and would like to get more.
I tried to use non-binary colors in here, it's a masc look. Reminder to all LGBT+ people, you are valid and I'm here for you🖤

So apparently someone tweeted JV asking if there was any LGBT rep in Invader Zim and his response was “I don’t think there was even any straight rep in that show. I don’t think there were any characters who liked each other in any kind of way” which, is just verifiably untrue. Heterosexuality was definitely present in the show, but that just goes to show how it’s normalized to the point of being invisible.
From the very first episode Zim was passing himself off as the son of a robot mother and father presenting as a heterosexual married couple.
Tak, the Hideous New Girl took place on Valentine’s Day and directly acknowledges heterosexual attraction with a classmate shouting “Looks like Zim’s got a girlfriend!”, Zim and Tak pretending to date for a while, a girl being shown to have a crush on Dib, and Dib showing interest in Tak that could certainly be interpreted as romantic given that he outright says he likes her, accuses Zim of being jealous, and shares his Valentines meat with her.
In Dib’s Wonderful Life of Doom, Dib is shown to have had at least three girlfriends throughout his simulated life.
In Door to Door Zim slaps VR headsets onto a het couple with two kids to compel them to buy chocolate.
That’s just off the top of my head. I’m willing to bet if I actually went back and watched the show I could point to numerous scenes where minor or background characters were clearly shown to be in romantic relationships or expressing heterosexual romantic interest. Pretty sure Zim had some married neighbors seen in shots of the house next door or lounging on the lawn of one of the other houses on the cul-de-sac. There was probably at least one het couple in Parent Teacher Night, and I think in the zit creme advert in Rise of Zitboy the guy suddenly has girls all over him after the product clears his acne up.
So no, Jhonen, there were definitely straight people on the show.
That being said, I also think there was at least one character on the show that was overtly queer-coded. The salesman at the boutique Mortos der Soulstealer shops at who tells him his outfit is “fabulous”.
Slightly less overt but still possible would be Keef, who wears a rainbow t-shirt, is part of the group of outcast kids the others refuse to associate with, and who is extremely clingy with Zim, and Dib as well in Return of Keef where he also gets explosively over-excited from seeing them hug.
Gaz’s teacher Mr. Elliot gives me gay vibes, as does Dwicky the Guidance Councilor.
I think there were some male background characters shown hanging out, like on top of a hill in the park watching the sky in one scene with no one else around, who could’ve maybe been two boyfriends out on a date.
Who knows if the post ETF revival hadn’t fallen through if we would've gotten some openly queer rep in the show. Just little things like two people of the same sex who are clearly living together or a kid with two same-sex parents, no different than any of the straight rep that already existed within the show.

I don't usually do CAS challenges but I saw the #OneBigSimsFamily challenge by grenesims on Twitter and I felt inspired. So, I'm formally introducing you all to The Richmond Family. Details on this cute family below - pictures are in order of the challenge days!
San Sequoia finds it's very own power couple in Johnathan and Yvette Richmond - a husband and wife dream team in the custom home build and remodel market. The two have been married for more than 30 years and, while they hoped their children would take interest in the family business, they've enjoyed watching their kids forge their own paths in life.
Tumblr media
Oldest son, Quentin, is a lovable engineer who became a single dad after his girlfriend took off following the birth of their 2nd child. She decided that she wasn't ready to be settled down with children yet. Quentin was heartbroken, as he had just bought them a house and had plans to propose, but he's done his best to hold it together for his kids. His son, Jamel, is still grieving his mother's disappearance and a part of him can't help but to be angry at his dad (believing he may have done more to push his mom away than he lets on). Meanwhile, little sister Mila has a more positive outlook on life, not really having a memory of their mother anyway. Mila adores the theater and singing but Quentin, while he is supportive of her dreams, can't help but be saddened by how much her voice sounds like hers mother's.
Tumblr media
Daughter Kyra's household looks a little differently. Kyra is the stay-at-home mother to triplets - so that means she's working harder than us all. Between taking Chandler to soccer and track practice, helping straight A Casey with extra credit projects she doesn't need (but insists on doing), having almost weekly meetings with the school about Cameron's behavior, and of course doing all the cooking snd cleaning - she's utterly exhausted. She'd love it if her husband Lawson helped her out more, but he claims to always be busy with work. Kyra is starting to fear that something more than work is keeping him away...
Tumblr media
The three youngest Richmond children don't currently have any families of their own to care for, but their lives keep them busy enough. Son Deonte lives in Del Sol Valley and is doing his best to stand out in the hustle and bustle of the entertainment industry. He dreams of joining the ranks of acting greats like Simzel Washington and wants to be a role model to other Black LGBT+ aspiring actors. Sometimes his work keeps him busy and so he doesn't get to come home to San Sequioa as much as his family would like. His sister, Camille, on the other hand, is known as the Cool Auntie. Living in San Myshuno and working as a DJ, Cam finds time in between juggling gigs (and juggling women) to visit home and hangout with her nieces and nephews. Lastly, baby sister Jordan is still living at home having recently finished college (she didn't want to go to college but her parents forced her to). Jordan has no interest in working for anybody and that's why, during her senior year of college, she launched her own online clothing boutique. Jordan has a few guys interested in her, but she's too focused on scaling her business to be worried about dating. She's currently saving up to get her own apartment AND get her own brick & mortar location for her boutique.
Tumblr media
Note: Kyra's husband, Lawson, is included in the family photo for story purposes but he's not part of the challenge and is a sim from the gallery.

Sage Suede Shocks Police With Dis Track on Country Cops
Tumblr media
You might be familiar with Sage Suede from the time cops in the country stole half an ounce of weed from his car when he rolled a stop sign while smoking a blunt, or from when he popped the booty on broken glass at the scene of a hate crime to support the premiere gay underwear boutique in Austin, which he later performed at during SXSW.
This reporter had the pleasure of catching a very rare occurrence, as the musician grabbed coffee with a local Austin Police Department representative, Christian Mendoza, to discuss LGBT+ rights.
Sage Suede entered the room dripping with a gold necklace, spiked hoop earrings and bracelet as a casual flex, which he later confessed “I felt more comfortable wearing gold jewelry for coffee with APD...”
Sage is a jewelry influencer and has partnerships for discounts at various jewelers.
Sage Suede continued to describe an altercation with country police to APD, noting that Austin has discontinued needless marijuana offenses for nonviolent offenders and how he feels more comfortable in the city of Austin and with APD’s protection, than in the surrounding countryside where legality remains antiquated.
Tumblr media
Mister Mendoza appeared surprised about the dis track, but did not seem to share the same experience with country cops. He explained that he is working on the LGBT+ hate crime division and APD’s interest in working with the rapper on LGBT+ equality initiatives in the city, such as a music showcase to help global policing initiatives to understand how to better serve queer individuals.
Mister Mendoza discussed how APD is seeking to implement reformative policing similar to Scandinavian countries like Sweden to reduce recidivism and rehabilitate people to re-enter the workforce. He reiterated that these are the types of discussions they want to have at the conference, as well as to share personal experiences with policing across diverse backgrounds to find solutions to inequalities that will inform the future of global policing practices at the conference.
Sage Suede performed at the local gay underwear store after the windows had been smashed in a hate crime and this led to a coffee chat with APD. The store has since relocated.
Mister Mendoza also reiterated the need for discussions about the “Gay Panic Defense” as well as bills to ban drag, which could bring harm to trans people for discussion at the conference.
Sage then expressed that “a lot of queer people have drug and alcohol dependencies, as well as sugar daddies, so I feel like it’s important to consider how to best help them.”
Tumblr media
“Incarceration often isn’t the best way to lead someone in the right direction and in the LGBT+ community it’s important to consider a lot of people are experiencing these things. Sometimes, I think policing by the book is a problem when the law is backwards (such as in the countryside with the legalization of medicinal adaptogenic herbs) and it should be more about policing with a conscience, than based on laws that are outdated in some counties.”
While other artists and security professionals seem unaware of how to focus on progress, these two appear positioned to improve policy and discussion through an LGBT+ focused entertainment event planned for later this year.
They are hoping to foster queer community and facilitate discussions with the global policing conference for better public safety practices. The event hosted by APD could help to save lives and improve policing for queer people worldwide.
Sage met with the temporary LGBT Hate Crime coordinator and they could not finish implementing the series through their temporary employment, but I have expressed interest in performing at a conference for the sake of equality in the community.
Tumblr media
Evidence is pretty obvious when police work is done.
Instead, Sage moved again.

Alors qu’on se salue, how are you, how pretty, câlin à Roisin, la foule avance lentement autour de nous.
Surely you have, but just didn’t know about it.
