*Well, there's a door here. Seems similar to the ones that have been appearing lately. It looks oddly fancy in an inexplicable way... There's a strange dial on the door that can't be adjusted, which is currently blank. There's a note on the door.

The note reads "This Door Connects With Any Of The Various Timelines I Have Connected To My Garden. Right Now, It Is Set To Pull Through Whoever Is Closest When It Opens. I Have Added A Dial To The Door To Indicate If A Person Is Their Timelines Equivalent Of Myself Or Kishar - Indicated By Cyan - Utur, - Indicated By Yellow - Alam - Indicated By Magenta - Or If They Are Someone Specific To Their Timeline - Indicated By Green. Caution; Not Everyone Is Friendly. Should You Wish To Remove Someone Back To Their Original Timeline, Just Call My Name. Try Not To Cause Too Much Trouble. - Persephone."

Jeremiah felt his face grow warm, not accustomed to being approached so directly.

He wasn't mad about it.

Lee was in love with Luke since the very beginning and for so long, it became a part of him. Everyone noticed his crush (except Luke) and rolled with it.

Everyone immediately noticed the change in Luke's behavior after he realized his feelings, including Lee. But instead of thinking "Oh, my feeling are not one-sided!" Lee decided that something must have happened or he made Luke uncomfortable because he doesn't talk to him as much as he did before and looks sick when they are together.

Meanwhile, Luke is mentally cursing out his head counselor for doubling their training sessions. He could have spent that time with Lee!

Today, while walking home from a meeting, I saw a dead cat. Aside from the flies, it looked very peaceful. I hope that's what death feels like for mortals. Filthy yet beautiful and peaceful.

So, I went shopping and figured I'd buy you a little gift but I didn't know you what kinds of flowers you like so I bought a bit of every kind! (I hope you aren't allergic)

(( Some minor information on Miranda's health situation:

Definitely going to go with her being immunocompromised. She can't pick up a lot of things from landfolk due to the severity of the zoonotic jump needed, but she's still sick a large portion of the time, and it doesn't take a lot to put her down for a while.

Especially prone to respiratory issues and infections. Her lungs are small and not very strong, and they're under an unusual amount of strain for a merfolk. It's easy to wind her, but it's also easy for her to feel like she can't breathe at all or that she's not breathing enough. Not to mention how nasty it gets with her gills or her nostrils being right above her eyes.

Digestive issues. Unsurprisingly, Miranda is built to eat meat and very little else. She's already not eating very much to begin with, but even through drinking landfolk drinks or having other liquids enter her body, she gets a lot of things that aren't very good for a merfolk to eat, with some things being either inedible or borderline poisonous to her. If it's not severe enough to scare Miranda away from it, then she might not raise much of a fuss at all, and isn't likely to inform anyone else about it.

Notable vitamin deficiencies. Being a merfolk, she needs a lot of calcium for her osteoderms and replacement teeth, and this calcium would normally be obtained by eating bones and marrow. Miranda doesn't get either, so she has some major calcium deficiencies that lead to unusually weak bones and porous teeth. Other necessary vitamins and nutrients are also lacking, and this makes the rest of her problems a lot worse.

Severely underweight for a merfolk. Merfolk are supposed to have a lot of fat and muscle, and Miranda has notably reduced amounts of both. This has resulted in stunting in her growth and a reduced size, but she's also a lot weaker compared to where other merfolk are. That said, she's still a merfolk. Even being weak and small for a merfolk still doesn't make her any easier for a non-merfolk to handle. Because she also doesn't get a lot of fat or blubber in her diet, something very common for other merfolk, there are other compounding issues that this causes.

Severe joint pain and joint issues. This isn't new, but I might toy more with how bad it actually is, and how other merfolk who spend a lot of time on land, like Bellanda, are realizing how much it starts to mess with them over time and what this means for Miranda. She weighs a lot more now, so there's even more concern about her organs slowly getting crushed under her own weight. Organs which were already under a lot of strain.

A lot of chronic, mystery pain that she doesn't know the source of. It's not severe enough for her medical team to be concerned, or they just don't know the source of it, or Miranda intentionally keeps it hidden, so she sometimes just has really bad pain and doesn't know why.

Memory issues. There's other cognitive issues Miranda has that I'm saving, but she has a hard time retaining a lot of memories in detail and needs reminders, or else she's prone to forgetting things. It's one of the things her having her every day micro-managed actually helps her with, as she doesn't need to rely on her own memory as badly to get her through mundane situations.

Maram hears a footstep and sees Zababa before them. But before they see him, they feel the trademark electric tingle and faint smell of ozone in the air, telling them that this is no trick of their imagination, and no dream or nightmare.

He's holding a cat.

"Hello, Utur, my love... It's been a long time."

All that power and fury... and yet he still looks on them with nothing but adoration.

Maram freezes. They curse internally, wishing that right here, right now, their body hadn't defaulted to freeze instead of fight or flight. They stare at Zababa, the same feelings they held when they ran flooding back to them. They don't blame the cat, their spice, she'd never do something that she thought would hurt them, but they can't stop the fear in their heart.

They don't know what to say. They don't know what to do. They don't understand.

"... why. uh. are you here."

It's the only thing they can make themself say right now. They know that their racing thoughts and conflict is shown on their face as clearly as if it was written there, so at the very least they don't have to worry about their statement being considered thought out in any way. It's obvious that it's the only thing they could manage to say with all the thoughts racing through their head.

his first confession~ ive been feeling stressed out so i wrote something light ^^

“You're the coolest person I know, Heath.” Shino butters the noble blonde with a cocky smirk, proudly holding his thumbs up.

How can someone like himself put on a ‘cold’ mask? To be similar to Shino whose unbothered and stubborn? His shy personality hindrances when it comes to leaving what his friend calls a “manly” impression for you.

The blush supposedly saved for you spills over Heathcliff’s face. Purely the thought of imagining how his desired way of wanting to express his feelings, soon the look on your face effortlessly sends him into a daze mess.

Gentle yet elegant twinkle tugs Heath's lips, he confidently started, “Master Sage, would you like to go to this bookstore with me?” He practices once more.

Well, why a bookstore? To facade the ‘date’ as an errand for his dear teacher Faust, obviously.

Shino clasps his hand together, acting as their beloved Sage: “Of course~! It would be an honour to go out with the handsome, stern, and super independent son of the Blanchett family!”

Headache, oh headache. (ft. Lemon Pie Lovers argument Ep. 592) Maybe he should just wing it…

“About this Tuesday…” Heathcliff coughs awkwardly behind his hand gripped into a loose fist. “Please, please go to this bookstore with me…!” The plan to charm you tragically crashed—exactly the feeling when his favourite bread with lemon jam slipping from his hand and fell onto the floor face first on side with the jam on it—... misery.

A confession turned out sounding as begging the Sage to go somewhere with him. Then why the hell did he dragged Shino into this?! Not like he minded, not until now. When you made that uncertain face filled with doubt, Faust and Nero had to firmly grab Shino’s shoulders before another hour of Heathcliff praising session occurs. Although I do strongly agree...

"No, not as in a serious matter! Like a… a hangout!” Heath slips right into his own words he has been avoiding for the past 5 hours of practice. "... a friendly outing...!"

Raindrops; his blue eyes falls to the floor in despair, heavy rain pours onto his heart.

Faint chuckles shone sunlight for his fragile heart. A beaming smile, mirrored expression of his blue eyes, you said yes…! But not without a subtle comment on his invitation.

“Just the two of us? Hm…~ it'll be like a date then!”
