be careful with dat burger King drive thru guys it will take out ur antennas 😭 tragic!!!!!! anywayssss hi guys this is my queerplatonic oc x canon dude his name is Commander Control bc his whole gimmick is that he's in charge of this army of bots called a BOTNET and that's a haha funny because it's a cybersecurity pun (those are 2 components in a DDoS attack) he was originally gonna be an actual agency officer of some sort but I was like nah. He's queerplatonic partners with the flybot hacker dude because that is my HUSBAND

So during @nintendonut1 's art stream today @missd476 mentioned her character, Lord Botnet- has taken Yaridovich's legs... I asked her if it was ok to draw out the idea after realizing the humor from my own design for Speardovich- and this is now one of the greatest things I've ever drawn! XD Is this a bad time to mention it's the first time I've drawn Mallow? And what would Speardovich's kids say to this?!

I still wanted Lord Botnet to look menacing, and even despite himself lacking emotion, I see him still knowing how to anger Yaridovich and not being afraid to. As if knowing mocking Speardovich was a tactic of sorts to win against them due to their grand pride and temper...

The red lighting from the first art I've seen him in, I knew it was a must have for the picture! But then you look down... XD But humor aside, I do still think the fact he stole Yaridovich's own legs for his own as terrifying in the best way. And yes- I do head canon Speardovich with as a British man.

3) Are they more “traditional” or do they break barriers?

Not in the conventional sense - she operates out of her own box, breaking rules where needed. She is a firm believer in the "ends justify the means", but only if she doesn't get caught. But she fiercely upholds the internal traditions passed down through her Serpents of the Light (Cobra) bloodline, reinforced by her sire and her sire's Cobra cell and Sabbat pack. 5) Who is their sire?

Syn's sire is an Elder Cobra (and a former Setite), known online as "Copperhead" who leads a Cobra cell operating as a hacker collective. Copperhead was born long before any modern advances in North Africa and Embraced into the Followers of Set but lost faith in their teachings and split from the Followers, refusing to worship Set as a god and went into exile. After centuries, her paths crossed with a Sabbat pack priest, a Lasombra who introduced her to the teachings of Caine and the Sabbat. There, she met some of the progenitors (also former Setites of the Serpents of the Light, a new group forged under the weight of oppressive colonialism on Caribbean plantations of the New World, particularly on the island of Hispaniola. Today, in modern times, the Serpents of the Light occupy every corner of the globe in every country, Embracing any they deem worthy into their ranks which means being useful in their underground criminal operations. Copperhead leads a Cobra cell as part of a larger Sabbat pack which coordinates with other packs to operate underground criminal enterprises, including a blood (and blood doll) trafficking ring. The cell uses their techniques and skills to hide all digital traces of the pack's cybercriminal operations.

While still human, Syn was a no-name, operating under the guise of a "male" hacker (i.e. using male names/aliases/handles) who frequented Dark Web forums finding ways to make money using her programming skills she picked up as a compsci student dropout. She was prized for tools, in particular, her botnet which she licensed out for other cybercriminals to use. That's what caught the eye of Copperhead.

Impressed with her work, she approached Syn online and recruited her for a new project, promising she'd be well paid. For over a year Syn worked, writing malware and specific exploits, and deploying her custom botnet which enjoyed widespread use.

And she was never compromised until she finally was.

Copperhead got wind of a comms breach with law enforcement/gov authorities as a likely culprit and sent a warning to stand down and 'go dark'.

After months lying low off the grid and silence from her online contacts, Copperhead reached out to meet her in-person reward her with a gift and a promise that she would never get caught again.

That night, Syn was Embraced in the throes of Ecstasy, simultaneously horrific and beyond orgasmic.

13) Was their embrace painful? (Either emotionally or physically)

Syn's Embrace by Copperhead (who was an advanced adherent of the Path of Ecstasy) was extremely physically pleasurable, beyond mortal limits, but it shattered her emotionally and mentally, destroying her iron-clad guard which shielded her from the toxic denizens of the criminal underground, most with sociopathic and psychotic tendencies. This stripping of her emotional/mental fortitude allowed her sire to remake her in her image as a fledgling member of the SoL bloodline into which she was Embraced.

No, Syn is too emotionally bonded to her sire engendering an unbreakable loyalty (also known in SoL). Syn is staunchly loyal to her sire's cell members (also childer of her sire). This tight bond enables them to operate as a cohesive formidable backbone of the Sabbat pack they're a part of and of which Copperhead also leads as Ductus.

Other members of their pack consist of other antitribu clans in addition to a Lasombra presiding as pack priest who ensures the pack is in good standing with their domain's ArchBishop.

i was inspired to make a virus oc.

Her name is Mirai, after the Mirai botnet virus. She, in universe, was invented in a majorly atompunk city (think the city from astroboy for the general vibe) and was basically programmed to make science experiments more efficient. She found that the most efficient way for dcience to happen was if *she* were delegating all tasks, and either changed her own code, or a bug resulted in her being able to virally infect people. She took over half of a facility before she was forcibly shut down and put into cold storage.

When she infects people, they become more logical and science-minded, focusing on random experiments unless she orders them to do a certain task. The more science-focused the person is normally, the more focused they are on experiments. She occasionally will get swarmed when she issues an order without specifying who.

She can be compared to a queen bee in regards to how her infection operates, and her infected are her "hive"

My batman supervillainsona OC inspired by @crowleyraejepsen’s recent posting on the topic:

Her name is Roxna Cord. (Roxna is derived from a family name and I have been told on at least one occasion that my last name means like “string” or something, hence cord.)

She works at a big tech company as a software engineer.

Her tragic backstory:

While doing her work she finds a bug that would enable someone to bypass the security system and sneak in undetected to the company’s top secret lab where they would have access to all sorts of new experimental tech. She reports it but the issue is deemed too expensive to fix and is deprioritized.

A few months later, the Joker or some more tech savvy villain idk breaks into the company’s lab using the very exploit she had uncovered and in the ensuing chaos the whole lab explodes including all the fancy new tech. Roxna’s desk is right next to the lab so she is in the area when the explosion occurs and she gets hit in the face with a big mysterious surge of power from one of the exploded new tech thingies. Everyone else around her including her favorite desk neighbor Avo Tarr (like Ava but with an O because he’s a man idk) dies in the explosion.

She is in a coma for a week after the explosion and almost dies, but then she miraculously wakes up and finds out that she now has the power to program any computer to do what she wants with just a thought (no more dealing with C++ memory management can u imagine).

The leadership team at the company finally patches the vulnerability now that they’ve seen the damage it can do, but it is too late to save her coworkers like Avo who got caught in the explosion. She is devastated and furious at the totally avoidable loss of life and she realizes that the only way to get people to prioritize physical and cybersecurity.......is to show them what happens when they don’t.

She calls herself ZeroDay. She bops around Gotham breaking into “secure” corporate buildings and causing explosions, using her new computer-whisperer power to exploit bugs in their software. She also messes with the city’s critical infrastructure that she finds to be wildly insufficiently secured against hackers such as herself. She shuts off traffic lights, fucks up the power grid and water lines, and generally sows chaos to demonstrate the danger of neglecting a robust investment in security for sensitive resources.

(Once, just for fun, she turns all the smart fridges in a 5 mile radius into a botnet for mining Bitcoin.)

As for another kind of physical security, most of the billionaires in Gotham have the common sense to have some kind of private security detail following them around everywhere and watching over their homes. Bruce Wayne on the other hand, appears to have no security detail, around him or his house....perhaps she needs to teach him a lesson about threat modeling.....
