This is a new place to sojourn in. Tomorrow marks a month of Boston; missions, ethnic foods, prayer, people and exploration. It is amazing to think that only a few weeks ago I knew very little about Boston and its culture. I am growing to truly love this city beyond its face value. To know the streets, my favorite coffee shop, the names of high-rises, and the faces of people I've met on the street, to sit with ease on the "T" because instinct will tell me I've arrived at my stop, these are the graces that are expanding each day.

BIG INK​ is partnering with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston​ for a special event in 2018. Seven visual artists from throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic will converge at the MFA to print giant hand-carved woodblocks on BIG INK’s 4’ x 8’ mobile printing press. The press, appropriately named, “The Big Tuna,” is a one-of- a-kind piece of printing equipment that travels to museums, arts centers, festivals, and schools. Participants include BIG INK’s director Lyell Castonguay​ with invited guests Jun Lee, Michael Rich, Daryl Storrs, Anita Hagan, Sarah Williams Koff and Scott Minzy. The demonstration will coincide with an exhibition featuring the work of the German artist, Christianne Baumgartner (http://www.christiane-baumgartner.com/index.html). The event is open to the public with admission to the museum on Sunday April 8th from 10 am - 4 pm.
