Abeera and Aahil now work as first responders slash paramedics, they're well acquainted with Cullen and Anders as a result. Alistair is also on the force. They all remembered early on in elementary history class, for obvious(royalty) reasons. Gerard and Mariel are a bartender and bouncer respectively. They met up with Isabela and Fenris way too quickly for their tastes, it's almost depressing. Arleena, their other little sister- the one without a twin, is a coworker of Anders. Bethany is a liberal arts student while Carver is a history major. Borghild and Brandt are also bouncers at the bar Gerard and Mariel work at, they haven't changed much lollo Alex is a doctor in pediatrics. Nascha is also a history student, and remembered watching that same documentary. Cheyenne is the history professor at their college, and finally confessed to Sten a while ago. They're married now, fuck u bioware

Dragon Age Origins Appreciation Week Day 7!

Questions of the Day: What does your Warden think of magic? Are they a mage or not? If they are a Mage, what is their favorite type of Magic to use? What does your Warden think of Blood Magic? Most of them were never really exposed to magic before becoming wardens, aside from Cheyenne, Shiloh, and Nascha. Borghild and Brandt like learning about surface cultures, so are extremely curious about magic especially. They do not leave Cheyenne or Morrigan alone for too long those first few days. Alex is less intense, but still slightly interested. Elena doesn't really care for the chantry establishment or how it treats those seen as lesser than humans, and that includes mages. She supports them gaining equality. Abeera likes listening to Cheyenne while she teaches Shiloh, and is always ready to learn about people in general- she is very supportive of learning, and of mages in general. Aahil is a little afraid of magic, but more in the "the responding pranks would probably blow me out of the water" than in the typical mages=demons thing. Nascha is used to magic, but is open to listening others talking about it and learning more. Cheyenne tends to use electricity magic, and arcane warrior spells. Shiloh grows up to follow in her staticky footsteps, becoming accustomed to electricity and rift magic. None of the wardens have a specific opinion on blood magic- they were more occupied on a fight by fight basis to really form one. Prompts of the Day: The Circle, the Fade, and Magic. How does your Warden deal with magic? If they’re a mage, what types of magic do they use? Blood Magic or No? Cheyenne is a researcher first and foremost, and a capable fighter second. She taught herself the basics of being an arcane warrior early on, and is naturally gifted in storm magic. She taught Shiloh all she knows about fighting with magic. She does not use blood magic herself, but believes it might be acceptable depending on the circumstances. Shiloh grew up drawn to spirit work- as a child, she gained two wonderful friends in Intuition and Insight, who stay with her and help her understand what people intend and why. She is quick to learn what Cheyenne teaches her, as well as what she learns from Anders in Kirkwall. Despite her abilities in spirit healing, she prefers using her lightning and rift magic to fight. She saves her healing skills for any animals brought to her for help.

Dragon Age Origins Appreciation Week Day 6!

Questions of the Day: Who did your Warden choose as the leader of Orzammar? If your Warden was Brosca, how did that affect their decision? If your Warden was an Aeducan, how did that affect their decision? You should've seen the look on Bhelen's face when he saw Borghild and Brandt again, it was hilarious. Anyway, in the end Borghild became ruler of Orzammar in my personal canon, but in game I chose Bhelen. If only for Ricas sake. Bhelen was not banished, neither was his rival. Branka died after destroying the anvil. Rica was elevated to royal status as Bhelens paramours. How close was your Warden with Bodahn and Sandal? Very! Bodahn kind of became the team uncle lollo. Sandal was seen as an odd but sweet cousin. Shiloh especially got along with the two of them extremely well. Prompt of the Day: The Deep Roads, adventures that happened in them with your Warden and company. A list of Deep Roads Shenanigans: -Aahil and Nascha compete to see who can kill the most deepstalkers -Abeera teaches everyone the importance of not cross contaminating the deepstalkers they hunted with dark spawn blood -Nascha teaches everyone how to set up a hunting snare with the help of Tamlen -Alistair steps in one of the snares and gets stuck -Aahil laughs so hard he trips and lands in a different snare -Cheyenne gets her robes caught in a snare -Nascha looks like a disappointed parent and Tamlen is amused -Alex explains why it's a good thing most of them can't fit in the Dust Town Alleyways -Abeera needs brain bleach as a result -Shiloh is babysat by Rica while waiting for the others to come back and gets to touch the baby bump -New Aunt Acquired -Shiloh makes it her goal to have the largest adopted family in Thedas

Dragon Age Origins Appreciation Week Day Five!

i... am having trouble keeping up... Questions of the Day: What did your Warden name their pet Mabari? I refer to him as barkspawn, but since technically there are two mabari (one in the kennels at ostagar, the other belonging to the couslands) it's only fitting they have actual names. So- Abeera and Aahils dog is named Isra. The kennel dog, who is quickly adopted by Elena is named Gordito. What did your Warden do concerning Eamon, Connor, and Isolde? Cheyenne is the one who mentions going to the circle. She's done so much research on so many different spells, and rituals of that scale tend to stick in her brain. After the whole debacle of saving the circle, Shiloh is brought into the fold, as well as Cullen temporarily. After freeing Connor from possession and healing Eamon with the ashes, they continue forward. After the blight ends, Cheyenne returns to take Connor under her wing and teach him alongside Shiloh. Prompts of the Day: A Warden’s best friend, the Mabari. How much does your Warden value their furry friend? Does their Mabari stay with them after DAO/Awakenings/Witch Hunt? What happens to the Mabari if they die from the Archdemon? OK first off no one does in my canons. So hot that down lollo. Anyway, the dogs are the most popular members of the group- most of my wardens love animals and the rest don't really care either way. Elena loves them especially, as do the Cousland siblings. When Aahil follows Morrigan through the eluvian, Isra follows suit, and when Elena comes to Amaranthine, Gordito is with her. Your Warden and Redcliffe, how did they deal with Redcliffe? Dealing with the zombies was... interesting to say the least. While Nascha does respect the spirits in the world, as her parents and peers taught her, she is still... really fucking terrified of them lollo. Elena doesn't like ichor and rotting smells, but she can tolerate the skeletons, and she doesn't really notice that sort of thing in the heat of battle anyway. Abeera feels a little nauseous due to the smell, but as an archer she's far enough away that it doesn't bother her too badly. Now, Aahil and the Aeducans- they're ecstatic. They love horror stories and the like, so they're having so much fun. Alex doesn't really care- they're skeletons. They've seen worse in the alleys back in Dust Town. Shiloh is still in the circle at this point. How did they deal with Haven and the Sacred Ashes? Did they kill the Dragon or no? After dealing with the cultists and being sufficiently horrified and disgusted, they accidentally wake up the dragon. By accidentally i mean Borghild tripped backwards and the war hammer on her back struck the gong. So after killing the dragon, they retrieve the ashes. They made sure to clean their hands first, thankfully.

Dragon Age Origins Appreciation Week Day 4!

Question of the Day: How did your Warden respond to Ostagar and Loghain? Abeera and the others were shocked, though in various ways. Borghild and Brandt were furious. Nascha was so pissed the air around her was freezing, which of course Tamlen echoed , albeit with heated anger instead. Abeera was saddened at the loss of life, and she and Aahil were both extremely worried for their older brother Fergus. Cheyenne was worried about Wynne, as well as ticked off. So annoyed in fact that she became imbued with static electricity from her magic and shocking everything she touched. Elena and Alex were more subdued than anything else- they had experience in treachery, what with Vaughn and the Carta. Shiloh, of course, wasn’t there to react, as she was only nine and was still in Fereldan Circle dealing with everything happening there. As impromptu leader of the group, Abeera chose to have a duel against Logjain, with Elena as her champion. I know some people like Loghain as a companion and as a character, but i could never allow his recruitment emotionally, considering it causes Alistair to leave. Besides, Abeera still resents the fact that he allowed Arl Howe to murder her parents, even if he wasn’t directly responsible. Cheyenne hates him for what he forced Jowan into. Elena hates him for his attempts to sell all of her alienage to tevinter slavers. Nascha, Tamlen, and the dwarves members are the only ones with no personal stake in this, but they still hate him because of what he did to their traveling companions turned friends.

Prompt of the Day: The Landsmeet, what did your Warden choose to do? What were the consequences of this? As I said, Abeera challenged Loghain to a duel with Elena as her champion. She would have chosen Alistair, but everyone had agreed beforehand that being beaten by an elf would make prove their point of him being a bad choice for the crown even better. Besides, Elena was very angry and hurt. In the end, that pain allowed her to win the bout, and finish him off. At this point, Cheyenne covered Shilohs eyes. As did a couple other companions including Sten.

EDIT: Whoops i forgot about who would rule! Abeera and Alistair become Queen and King of Fereldan. :^)
