regarding @skrelm questions, i’ll give u all some Ember lore

Ember was a new gen streetcleaner (repurposed as a scout of hell like the rest) owned by a fairly nice family, in this family they were particularly favoured by a little girl named Summer. Though Ember (the name given by Summer) ventured into hell, the further they ventured the layers of hell the more sentient they became (this was a theory my friend made named the ghost shell affect), due to their gradual growth in emotions they started feeling a longing to go back home.

Though when they finally made it home their family had been massacred. This overwhelming feeling of rage filled their ‘soul’, heating up to a shocking amount, completely charring their entire body.

to put it short the body is charred from overheating, the stickers were engineered by the father of the family (he was an engineers as u can guess) to be fire retardant so Summer could cover them in stickers without them getting burnt (the reason that they know how to make more is from observing the father while he made them) and their shoulder pads and arms/legs are deferent bc they were altered by the father (shoulder pads for pretection and the arms, legs and chest are a stronger metal and the colours are Summers favourite)
