Hola a todos!!!⠀ Hoy les traigo el último libro que leímos en el grupo de Romance en @nuestrorinconliterario y en esta oportunidad nos unimos a #relaxwithbook de @paginasqueatrapan y @amamosleer_uy ⠀ Gracias chicas nos encanto la experiencia, el debate fue hermoso y nos preparamos para ver la película que se estrena en @paramountplusla el primero de diciembre. ⠀ Se trata de "Piso para dos" de @betholearyauthor publicado por @penguinlibrosar muchas gracias @historiasqueenamoranarg por el ejemplar. ⠀ ⠀ "Las personas solo pueden salvarse a sí mismas. Lo más que puedes hacer es ayudarlas cuando están preparadas" ⠀ ⠀ Todos sabemos que la convivencia no es fácil, pero cuando nunca te ves con tu conviviente se complica ya que no conoces sus expresiones o sus malhumores.⠀ Lo que te demuestra esta historia es como dos personas que no se conocen pueden hacerlo con los detalles que dejan día a día y que solo una persona observadora puede retener y tomar en cuenta.⠀ Ellos se comunican con notas adhesivas que van dejando en el departamento, en lugares impensados, pero que para ellos funciona, así se van descubriendo y abriendo, hasta se dan cuenta cuando el otro tiene mal humor o necesita deshagorse.⠀ Admiro a la gente dispuesta a todo por el otro porque en estos tiempos no abundan, el egoísmo social cierra la oportunidad a nuevas relaciones. ⠀ ⠀ Uno de los personaje secundario de la historia hace gaslighting a otro. Es tan explícito e indignante que tenes ganas de meterte en el libro para hacerla reaccionar. "When everything goes to hell around you, the only way to go is forward." 🌲This book intrigued me from the moment i read the blurb. What i feel about this book is so hard to describe.Brigid Kemmerer’s 'Letters to the Lost' is one of those books that will stay with you long after you’ve read it and for so many different reasons. 🌲This novel deals with grief and haunting family secrets. It’s one I quickly fell in love with because of the deeply scarred but wonderfully developed characters and the beautiful narrative which is told from two main perspective. It was emotionally devastating at times, but nothing can beat how wonderful the book and the plot was. 🌲I love reading a story where I feel equally connected to both of the characters . In this case, Declan and Juliet's stories are both very well developed and I really hope for their happy ending. Juliet and Declan communication with letters reminds me of old times love stories. I feel that we see a lot of Declan through Juliet's eyes.but see less Juliet through Declan eyes.Declan and Juliet are both going through very separate and difficult personal lives and it was great that they had each other to rely on. I really loved getting to know both characters and thought that Kemmerer did a great job humanizing them.What my main problem in this book is Declan stepfather and Mom and the reason behind them treating Declan so poorly. It doesn’t really make sense, completely unrealistic. There should be enough good reason for that. It also shows how the pain of loss can leave you feeling at disoriented, alone and separate from the ones you really need support from. Its a beautiful coming of age story that gave me so many feels. I completely adored it. This is the first Brigid Kemmerer novel I’ve read. It won’t be my last. Hola a todos!!!⠀ Les traigo el libro que leímos en el #clubvrya en el mes de mayo "El último verano " de @annakarenk publicado por @editoriasvrya muchas gracias @natalia.vazquez.prensa por el ejemplar. ⠀ ⠀ Cuando leo un libro anhelo que la historia me llegue en lo mas profundo, quiero lograr empatizar con alguno de los personajes o que el tema que se trate sea lo bastante complejo para no querer dejar de leerlo y ademas que el dolor que refleje en la historia me haga llorar. ⠀ ⠀ En este caso encontré en la historia, de los dos protagonistas, algunos de los puntos que les describí más arriba.⠀ Una joven trata de superar su realidad siendo excelente gimnasta para lograr una beca e ir a la universidad para poder ser una profesional en el futuro. ⠀ Por el otro lado tenemos a un joven que tiene la virtud de escribir hermosas historias y quiere especializarse en la universidad para ser un gran escritor.⠀ Un verano se conocen, logran tener una conexión mágica, pero el destino se cruza y no todo va a quedar en esa eterna felicidad de cuando se conocieron. ⠀ ⠀ Cada uno de ellos deberá enfrentar la prueba más fuerte e intensa que les puede dar la vida y a la vez deberan tratar de realizarse como personas. ⠀ ⠀ Anna franco logró que esta historia juvenil sea adulta y fresca.
