Let´s talk about your word goal
Writing can be incredibly rewarding, but let's be honest, there are times when it feels like scaling Mount Everest would be easier. When you're staring at a blank screen, and the words just won't flow, reaching your word goal can seem like an insurmountable challenge. But fear not! Here are some tips to make it not only achievable but also a tad less daunting:
Set Realistic Goals: The first step in reaching your word goal is setting one that's actually attainable. Be honest with yourself about how much you can realistically write in a day or week.
Create a Writing Schedule: Consistency is your best friend. Dedicate specific times for writing, and treat them like important appointments. Whether it's early morning or late at night, find what works for you.
Eliminate Distractions: Find a quiet writing space. Turn off your phone or use apps that block distracting websites. A focused environment can work wonders.
Use Writing Prompts: Writer's block happens to the best of us. When your creative well runs dry, turn to writing prompts. They can be a great way to jumpstart your imagination.
Break it Down: Your word goal may seem enormous, but remember, you don't have to tackle it all at once. Break it down into smaller, more manageable chunks. Focus on one section or chapter at a time.
Reward Yourself: Celebrate milestones along the way. When you hit your daily or weekly word count goal, treat yourself to something special. It's a great motivator.
Accountability Partner: Share your goals with a fellow writer. Having someone who can hold you accountable and provide motivation can be a game-changer. Fell free to always text me here on this app .I would love to connect with more writers!
Write First, Edit Later: During your first draft, don't get bogged down by trying to make everything perfect. Just write. Editing can come later.
Visualize Your Success: Imagine the sense of accomplishment when you complete your story. Visualizing your success can provide the motivation needed on tough days.
Stay Inspired: Seek inspiration everywhere—books, movies, nature, or even a random conversation. When you're genuinely excited about your story, writing becomes a joy.
Take Breaks: Writing marathons can lead to burnout. Schedule short breaks to clear your mind and recharge. A refreshed mind is more creative.
Track Your Progress: Use word count trackers or writing apps to monitor your daily achievements. Seeing your progress can be incredibly motivating.
Remember, reaching your word goal is a journey, not a race. It's about consistent effort and unwavering determination. So keep writing, one word at a time, and soon you'll find yourself at the finish line.

How to write an OC with an big ego!
Ever wondered how to write a character with an ego the size of Mount Everest? Well, look no further! here is how I would do it. ( With examples)
Example person : Alex
Motivations Matter: Behind every egoistic persona lies a set of motivations that drive their actions. Unpack their backstory and understand what fuels their need for validation, power, or attention. Dig deep into their past experiences to unveil the root of their ego.
Example: Alex's ego was a result of childhood struggles, growing up in the shadow of a successful parent. The relentless pursuit of success became a way to prove worthiness, and the glossy exterior was the armor against past insecurities.
Flaws Galore: No one's perfect, and egoistic characters are no exception. Give your character flaws that stem directly from their inflated ego. Maybe they struggle with forming genuine connections or have a tendency to dismiss others' opinions. Flaws make characters relatable and grounded.
Example: Despite the impressive exterior, Alex's ego came with a flaw – an inability to acknowledge the contributions of others. The team's victories were claimed as personal conquests, and any failures were promptly blamed on external factors.
Voice and Dialogue: The way your character speaks is crucial. Egoistic individuals often have a distinct way of expressing themselves. They might be boastful, use grandiose language, or constantly seek attention. Pay attention to their tone, vocabulary, and speech patterns to make their ego shine through.
Example: "I don't build companies; I create empires," Alex declared, the tone commanding attention. Conversations were peppered with grandiose phrases, each sentence meticulously crafted to reinforce superiority.
Internal Conflicts: Explore the internal struggles your character faces due to their ego. Do they ever doubt themselves beneath the façade? Are there moments of vulnerability? Internal conflicts add depth and dimension to your character, making them more than just a one-dimensional ego machine.
Example: Behind closed doors, doubts crept in. Alex wrestled with the fear of inadequacy, wondering if the empire built was as impenetrable as it seemed. Vulnerability lingered, hidden beneath the layers of arrogance.
Show, Don't Tell: Instead of explicitly stating that your character is egoistic, demonstrate it through their actions. Showcase their need for admiration, their competitive nature, or their unwillingness to admit fault. Actions speak louder than words, especially in character development.
Examples: Rather than outright stating achievements, Alex casually dropped impressive anecdotes into conversations, leaving others in awe. The need for constant validation manifested in the subtle but unmistakable bragging woven into everyday dialogue.
Relationship Dynamics: Consider how your egoistic character interacts with others. How do they treat people they perceive as beneath them? How do they handle competition? Explore the dynamics they create in relationships to reveal facets of their ego.
Examples: Subordinates were either loyal subjects or inconsequential pawns in Alex's eyes. Competitors were met with thinly veiled disdain, each encounter a battle for supremacy. The wake of shattered professional relationships told tales of a cutthroat ambition.
Redeemable Qualities: Even the most egoistic characters can have redeemable qualities. It's essential to humanize them by showcasing moments of kindness or vulnerability. This complexity makes your character more interesting and adds layers to their personality.
Example: In rare moments, Alex's guard slipped, revealing a philanthropic side. A secret fund for employees facing hardships, a gesture that contradicted the public image. These glimpses hinted at a person beneath the towering ego

Well, I guess your getting the Arcane thing from me, haha. (Don't worry, it's okay.) But I want to use this to explain myself a bit more.
And I get where you're coming from. But I actually want to say, I don’t think you can compare this. AI's are learning and getting their information from all different sources. Of course, at first the most popular ones. One of the most popular source for girls with blue hair is actually Arcane. AIs are getting trained with training data. For this, often and mostly the most public data is used. The AI’s pay particular attention to very striking things. So, in a character with blue hair, the AI looks for all the data of the training data and uses the most striking ones to generate images. Public AI's etc are getting often trained with everything you can find online.
So the possibility that AI pictures are based on Jinx from Arcane is very high. And simply, you can see the similarities.
So if the AI has been trained with large amounts of image data containing popular characters and styles, it can internalize these features.
Popular works are often contained in publicly available datasets, and their features will reappear in the generated images.
So, if you type "Girl with blue hair," the AI will use their training data that matches this description. And with popular and very eye-catching data, it is very likely that your generated image will have this data and the futures as well.
Another problem is that popular characters and styles are often overrepresented in the training data. Which means that the AI sees them more often and thus reproduces them more often if it receives similar descriptions.
Many well-known designs use common and generic features. For example, the bright blue hair or very striking facial features or art styles that are considered very representative by an AI, which is why the AI can then use this data more often and more easily.
And now, in my opinion, the biggest problem.
One of the problems with the training data is that they are often generalized. This ensures that AIs adopt special styles and specific features and copies them to other pictures.
So it’s basically actually just theft of other data.
And the thing is, if you're getting inspiration by another artist, that's great as longs as you're not copying it. But with AI, you can create one million of different images in 1 Minute. Without any problem. What can an artist do in one minute?
I understand what you mean by "inspiration", but these two things are simply not in relation to each other in my eyes. Unfortunately, the comparison has absolutely no weight.
On the one hand, there is a program that makes use of every tiny file available, which can copy a special style. Certain features copied and transferred to thousands of other images that every private person can then use without problems.
And then we have pay for it?
To put it very dramatically but appropriately: human against machine.
No hate from my side to you as well, really not. But I just wanted to make this point clear. And in my eyes, you can't compare inspiration and the usage of AI.
I actually wanted to say more but I forgot. xD And I think my point is clear enough by now.
I thank you for sharing your opinion and I also thank you for standing behind Everbyte. Despite all the hate and constructive criticism, reminding people to be a more sensitive with certain things is always good. 💚
Hey guys, I just wanted to share a few thoughts on the #Moonvale criticism.
I don't really know how to write this, but somehow I was pretty disappointed with all the fuss about the release of the new episode. Not in Everbyte but more in the community, without wanting to criticize anyone. Everyone can say what they want and I thought it was nice that some of you emphasized several times that this isn't about hate, but about constructive criticism.
I understand the points of anger, but then again, somehow I don't.
AI is interesting for a lot of artists at the moment, which doesn't make it reprehensible. Also the point that AI steals works. Of course that's not good, but honestly it could just be a kind of inspiration. If you look, you'll always find a suitable comparison. Like Arcane. But just because there's a woman with blue hair doesn't mean it has to be a version of Jinx. After all, people look for inspiration everywhere. That doesn't make it a copy. (I understand your point completely, of course, and I don't think stealing from artists is a good thing. I'm an artist myself and can relate to it very well)
And about the diamond system... Sure, they spoiled us a bit with the premium package and the diamonds are quite annoying. But good work is worth paying for. (That doesn't mean that you have to pay $50 for it all the time. Especially because there's no obligation behind it.) I'd rather pay something (and that won't happen more than twice a year at the rate they're releasing) than let this studio go under. After all out there are so many artist who get support through.. money. this game isn't a expectation.
The work they do, the effort, the technology they need, the actors. All the work they do behind the scenes to produce this episode... It was so sad to read all these hate comments after they probably put a lot of effort into it for 2 years. I can well imagine that after the release, they were relieved
and hoped that there would be a little more gratitude. Just because they had written something amazing again. However, it quickly went from comments like "bring Jake back" and "I can't wait" to "the game sucks" "this is shit". But as the saying goes: Nothing is so hard as man's ingratitude. For someone who just consumes, it may be justified. But for people who have put their heart and soul into it, even if they made mistakes, it is extremely devastating. People are so quick to only see the negative that all the good is quickly wasted. If you tear it down, then in most cases the criticism only concerns AI and diamonds. The story is structured very similarly to Duskwood in parts. We even got the introduction of the characters, the time when "unknown" appears, the clues, the relationships and even Jake at the end.
And we can even repeat the episodes as often as we like without losing any progress in the game.
I am definitely in favor of appropriate criticism. There is no need to sugarcoat anything that cannot be sugarcoated. What I was actually trying to say here is that I found it so sad how quickly all the positive things are forgotten because the community is upset about "two" settings.
If you've read this far, thank you. This isn't meant to offend you in any way. I... just wanted to share my thoughts with anyone who's into this and seems to be listening.
Have a nice day everyone 🫶🏻

This comment is acutally right!
Why is giving your OC a "dark past" so important?
Character Depth:
A dark past adds complexity and depth to your character, making them more multi-dimensional and interesting.
Motivation:
A character with a dark past often has strong motivations that drive their actions throughout the story, providing a compelling narrative.
Conflict and Tension:
A troubled past can create internal conflicts within the character, as well as external conflicts with other characters, adding tension to the storyline.
Resilience and Growth:
Overcoming a dark past can showcase the character's resilience and capacity for growth, making their journey more inspiring and relatable.
Reader Empathy:
Readers may empathize with characters who have faced adversity, making it easier for them to connect emotionally with the story.
Plot Twists:
A dark past can serve as a source of unexpected plot twists, keeping readers engaged and intrigued as they uncover the layers of the character's history.
Mystery and Intrigue:
A character with a mysterious or troubled past can create intrigue, encouraging readers to invest in the story to uncover the secrets behind the character's history.
Character Arc:
A dark past often sets the stage for a powerful character arc, allowing the character to evolve and transform over the course of the narrative.
Realism:
Characters with flaws and traumatic experiences can feel more realistic, as people in real life often carry the weight of their past experiences into their present actions.
Memorability:
Characters with dark pasts are more likely to be memorable to readers, as their struggles and triumphs leave a lasting impression.
Exploration of Themes:
A dark past can be used as a vehicle to explore and address themes such as redemption, forgiveness, and the impact of trauma.
Backstory Integration:
A well-crafted dark past can seamlessly integrate with the overall plot, providing context for the character's choices and behavior.
And tbh it´s a great way to deal with your own shit! My therapist recommended, 'Let your book characters suffer, so that you don't need to put all the stress onto yourself.'
