I have one more day of work and then a 4 day stretch off and couldn’t be more excited!! This is definitely an unpopular opinion but I hated the ending to this series! The Cruel Prince was okay, The Wicked King was awesome and The Queen of Nothing had so much potential but it just fell flat for me. I just wanted so much more and instead I got a very weird twist, which I still don’t fully understand where it came from. Anyway I still love how gorgeous the books look! Throne of Glass was definitely the longest page count series I think I’ve read although a few others definitely come close!! 📖 Book Review: The Vanishing Throne by Elizabeth May Book two of the Falconer trilogy. YA historical fantasy. Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; Once again, I’m wondering how this series isn’t more popular?! I loved this second instalment of the Falconer trilogy. It has a vicious world, lots of faerie lore, and fantastic characters. I feel like all I do is gush about these books as I sink into the book hangovers they give me! I’ve now read four books by Elizabeth May (two Falconer books, and two of her historical romance written Katrina Kendrick) and I can confirm I have a new auto buy author.
