QOTD: Do you prefer books with single or multiple perspectives? . . I LOVE books with several perspectives. As you might have seen, I am reading the #womensprize longlist this year and I have so far read 3 books and am making my way through the fourth one. . . And so far, Red at the Bone is my favorite! The story starts in 2001, on Melody's coming of age party, and from there we get the story of Melody's life, but also her parents and grandparents, and their complex and layered perspectives. Told through rhythmic and evocative writing, this is a story of mothers, fathers and daughters, as well as identity and class. Highly recommend you check it out! . . ✨#bookstagramreadsthewomensprize . . . https://www.instagram.com/p/B9wnG0dgbE7/?igshid=162efbuyvdclg

QOTD: Who's your favorite greek god or goddess? . . Mine is Athena! I love myths and stories about her a lot. . . Next on my Women's Prize longlist read is A Thousand Ships! I haven't seen anyone hyping this one up, but it's a feminist Trojan War retelling and so far I really love it! #bookstagramreadsthewomensprize . . What are you all reading and doing during this period of self-isolation? . . . https://www.instagram.com/p/B-AIDznAIVx/?igshid=4rd26ivlin2f
