My new old books

My new old books about Ireland. The first one is a collection of novels of an old Irish writer Maurice O'Sullivan translated into English. It's about life on islands near the south-western coast of Ireland. By the way this book is printed in 1992 and it contains an inscription in Russian meaning "To Liana from Nael, Dublin, 1994". Isn't in wonderful?!

It reminded me the other inscription on Bobby Fischer's book I bought in January. According to that inscription a Russian man presented that book which is about an american grossmeyster to another russian man in 1979. And that was in the Iron Curtain period! I love to read book inscriptions).

The second one is an Irish language coursefor beginners. It's good but doesn't contains audio materials so I decided to use it later.

Contudo, as coisas começam a ficar realmente estranhas a partir do momento que Eddie e seus amigos resolvem fazer desenhos de homens de giz para se comunicarem uns com os outros, e de repente estes desenhos começam a surgir do nada, levando os meninos a encontrarem o corpo de uma menina esquartejada. É em torno deste fato que ocorreu em 1986 que a narrativa se desenvolve e que, 30 anos depois, ainda traz reflexos nas vidas dos personagens.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔼No todo, a autora soube conduzir muito bem a trama, apresentando personagens com características marcantes que nos fazem desconfiar de cada um deles, além de que, a cada momento, novas situações acontecem tornando impossível de largar o livro até o final. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔼 Outro ponto que merece destaque é o trabalho impecável que a editora Intrínseca teve com esta edição. Sua capa dura contém detalhes de giz, homens palitos na lombada e o corte é inteiro na cor preta. A página inicial de cada capítulo também é na cor preta dando um ar único ao livro.

Avete presente quel momento in cui volete tanto finire un libro (anche perché lo state leggendo già da tanto) ma allo stesso tempo non volete finirlo perché vi sta piacendo? Ecco, questa è la situazione tra me e "Guida Galattica per gli Autostoppisti" di Douglas Adams edito @librimondadori @oscarvault. È un libro che mi sta piacendo veramente tanto, poi è così divertente grazie alle situazioni strambe e ridicole che presenta, come anche i personaggi (come potrei dimenticare l'alieno grigioverde Wowbagger lo Sfanculatore Errante). Anche lo stile dell'autore mi piace moltissimo. Il problema è che sto impiegando veramente tanto per leggerlo, anche perché durante la giornata non ho più molti momenti per leggere (causa maturità e didattica a distanza) e devo dire che non sono nemmeno una lettrice velocissima. Però mi consola il fatto che la storia sia bella e molto interessante. Pensate se fosse stato un libro noioso! #qotd Vi è mai capitata una situazione del genere? Gracias @libroscontapa ♥️🖤 ・・・ ✨Una novela negra muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados !! “Las manos tan pequeñas” Marina Sanmartin @la_fallera_cosmica @harpercollinsiberica ✨Tokio, otoño, segunda década del siglo XXI. Las manos de la joven y famosísima bailarina Noriko Aya aparecen entre dos edificios cercanos a los jardines del palacio Real. Y aquí os dejo con el suspense de que le pasó a Noriko y quien lo hizo. 😃😃📚 ✨Me ha parecido una novela muy bien escrita con una prosa exquisita donde la protagonista Olivia nos contará la historia en primera persona. Lo cual te deja con la duda de si todo lo que cuenta es real 😉 porque claro solo tenemos su punto de vista. Por eso me ha parecido tan original y diferente. Es una novela corta solo son 208 pág pero muy bien escritas y que te enganchará desde el principio. Buonasera lettori! Oggi sul blog non ho pubblicato niente, causa studio/tempo, ma tranquilli perché domani uscirà un post a cui tengo moltissimo😍 Quindi oggi parliamo di foto! E in particolare foto librose. Personalmente preferisco fare foto all'aperto, in giro per la mia città. Prima di tutto perché mi piacciono di più, e poi le trovo molto più "immediate" e facili da fare. In casa infatti molte volte non l'ispirazione e devo affidarmi a gingilli, nastrini e cose varie per fare foto! Durante la quarantena non ho avuto modo di scattare foto all'aperto, ma non vedo l'ora che arrivi domenica per fare qualche scatto carino! #qotd e voi preferite fare foto all'aperto o in casa? P.S.
