im only halfway through the second book (im the robinstorm who commented a day or two ago that i was starting the first book on AO3!), but the main thing ive wondered about is the lack of, or at least lack of mention of, human and pet corpses. is this intentional- was the evacuation mentioned by Ruthy really so effective, or am i just missing implications? or maybe i should just keep reading!

I'm a non book reader only watched the show when does Jelly happen and when does she describe her love for him? I've heard the third book is a fanfic a bad one at that so if I do read it I'll consider book 2 the ending hope it's a happy one for my ships I love them both. I get why people are annoyed with Belly constantly going from one to the other but that's not in the books right? I wish she would only choose and love Jeremiah I'm getting stick of Conrad's shit since season 1 he reminds me of those toxic male leads from movies like After not that extreme of course but similar.

I just finished book 2 and loved the ending because Belly finally lets go her obsession and love for conrad. Here's the quote I've loved about it:

She literally says that she's not gonna be the only one who says sorry and runs after the person. She finally realizes her worth.

And her description for boys is very different. Ij case of conrad, it is read as some kind of obsession and idolization of the person. And she excuses him always. Like he literally went to his ex in 2nd book, but suddenly this is not considered cheating, but when Jeremiah did the same, he's some kind of villain... Belly is literally the only one who puts on effort and conrad acts only when Belly is with someone else. I know he's been going through a lot, but if he's not ready for a relationship, just don't start it.

And then after realizing what kind of shitty person he is, she realized that she made a mistake for taking him, that she idolized about her and conrad too much, when in reality it wasn't what she has imagined. She came to the conclusion that she should have brought Jermeiah cause he would never do that to her:

She never felt that she was loved fully by conrad. She says this in book 2, I think. He's been crazy about her, but with her, it was usual, nothing exciting for him. Also, it felt like that cknrad just lived that belly liked him. I just feel like it.

And in book2, Jeremiah kisses her and she literally says that the kiss was something she has never experienced cause it was so damn PASSIONATE LIKE HE WAS DROWNING AND SHE WAS AIR, WHILE SHE NEVER FELT LIKE THAT WITH CONRAD!!!!

Also this is the end of book2. Look how she says that Jeremiah is her past, present and future. She says it's true love. While her love for conrad is described as something childish, she says that it's not good love and it's just one time thing cause this type of love will only hurt you!!!

Book3 really feels like a bonrad fanfic. I just started it, but the way characters act are just out of character. Jenny Han just wanted to force bonrad into our throats🤢

Some thoughts and predictions abt what Azul’s dream would be like in Chapter 7

I have 3 guesses: either he dreams about being friends with everyone, not the bullied octopus anymore and fitting in with the others despite his differences with the others

2nd guess (which is more likely): he dreams about Monstro Lounge being the best restaurant in both sea and land, taking away everything from his bullies with his golden contracts and proving to the world that he’s not that weak octo-punk anymore, maybe a successful CEO or even more

3rd guess (not very likely) SPOILERS ABT AZUL BIRTHDAY SSR VIGNETTE CARDS:

From all I know about Azul I don’t know about his relationship with his step-father, whether they have a good relationship, or an awkward one/ or his relationship with his biological father, if I’m just making wild guesses then I think maybe he’ll dream about his biological family, (Mama Ashengrotto, his real father and himself) living happily, his biological parents never divorced and he can just continue his life under his biological parents’ love and affection

However— according to the past stories, all housewardens will either get trapped by the dark blot or get in a dangerous situation with those blots, that’s when the theory of ‘the Leech twins are just sticking with Azul because he’s useful, and they’ll leave him when something happened’ can be answered. If this scene happened I think the tweels will most definitely not leave Azul behind, and admit that Azul is a friend, something more than some toys they will abandon when bad situations happened

Again I’m not sure what would happen but I just want Yana to give me some wholesome Octatrio moments😋😋

So, 2020 came and went, and I finished writing a book I'd been procrastinating on for over a decade. This year, my resolution is to finish writing the third book and start planning/worldbuilding to revise all of book 1 into original work. I leaned heavily on existing elements for much of 1, so most of it must change to set up appropriately for a trilogy. I'm looking forward to it being a mostly new adventure, not just a revision. I'm also so done with the 1st person experience. The entire trilogy will be written 3rd person if I'm to make any sales. (lmao)

I'm at home without my Murdle's Volumes 1 and 2. It's nice being home for break but I underestimated how obsessed my brain would get about Logico and Irratino. But, I'm not getting volume 3 or the school book until Christmas, so I'm also trying to avoid spoilers or any information on those two.

I've already technically spoiled myself for something in Volume 3, but I've already forgotten the name, so the action should still suprise me.

Specifically, I'm trying to pin down how they view each other's belief systems? For lack of better terms.

Like, I know Logico includes motives during V1. Chapter3, because it's what Irratino would do. I know Irratino can use a logic grid to solve murders V2.C3. At the very least, they respect and engage in each other's interests, as seen in the ending drabble in some of the Sunday Daily Murdles. But like, I feel like I'm missing or forgetting something important.

Like, they're opposites but instead of fighting like cats and dogs or constantly bickering like most opposite dynamics go, they get along swimmingly well and have such a cute bond. God, I wish I had the books to read over again. Even just the hints pages for volume 1.

I've also already read through the fanfiction, with the only ones left having spoiler warnings for the books I haven't read :(

Infinity train gamers au

Infinity Train is an online multiplayer puzzle solving game, the main selling point being that it is not supposed to end

There is an ending to it, when you get you're score to zero, but seeing how this an unusual route to gaming, it's not common knowledge and most people believed that you have to get your score higher instead of lower, until one-one let's everyone know that's wrong

But by then it's already been too late

There is a hidden code in the game that makes it so you can 'break' the train car and make your score go up

Amelia made the hidden code for the game when she was young and foolish and severely regrets it, seeing as now she has to fix all the damage it has made

Grace and Simon have some of the highest scores in the game, and they think that is a good thing. It is not. It just serves to make Amelia's life that much more difficult.

They play the game the 'right' way, the secret hacked way, by destroying cars and pillaging them

Amelia is so done with them "no I'm the one who made that stupid code, the games not supposed to be played like this! It's a simple puzzle solving game! Not an intense fighting rpg!"
