im also. like everyone else in this era, not coping well with having 24/7 access to every horrible thing happening in the world all at once. my brain cant process it no more. gotten to the point where i see things and immediately shut my brain off from it because i just. cant anymore with anything. local semi-local international my own people other people any issue anything the science shit im learning in clases which is also a lot of more world issues just anything. my brain feels fried on such an endless list of horrors and i know theres about a billion more out there. i care so damn much about everything i have such a hard time with knowing people are suffering and i just cant anymore. i just want to curl up in a dark hole for a month and not see not hear not know anything not think anything at all. my childhood was a whole lot of familiarization with the sheer cruelty of this species, enough that i spend most of my childhood hating humanity as a whole and distrusting it. the rest of life has been as well. my brain feels like its gone over its ability to compherend and know and store info on The Horrors and feel and anything so many times. i wish anything at all felt soft and safe and simple
#please dont take this as some sort of boo hoo its so hard for Me thats the real tragedy here Me thing. this aint even just about palestine#its about the incomprehensible list of horrid fucking bullshit happening in the world rn and how much of it is interconnected#and how ive been losing my mind abt all of it for years and how for 99.99% of human history#we all mostly only knew and cared about what was happening in our local proximity and own lives and stuff#and now our money brains are connected 24/7 into an edness stream of everything happening on a whole fucking globe#and i cant fucking cope with it and neither can anyone else because weve never done this before

elaboration because Room:
i'm debating adding more chapters because i feel like the current+upcoming parts need more breathing room. i'm realizing the ending of the fic feels a bit rushed (at least imo) so. yeah.
