whats your au abt!! it seems interesting! (sorry if youve already explained before)
No don't apologize!! I don't think I've gone in depth about the world on tumblr anyways!
———————————————————————
So the ocelots: Lukas, Aiden, Maya, and gill, were around 18-20 when they travelled outside their hometown and set up a homestead in the base of a bowl like mountainous biome. In the middle was thick trees and the surrounding mountains were rich with ores like iron, emerald, and coal. They made their base in the middle of the bowl and lived a pretty peaceful life until soon after they finished, they noticed a lot of other people were seeking refuge at their homestead. Apparently trades amongst larger towns/communities would have to travel across the mountains that surrounded the ocelots homestead, and it lead to hundreds of people becoming stranded in the snow or even passing away from the harsh conditions. Lukas couldn't bare to live with that, so they began building “guest cabins”. These cabins would house anyone passing through and they came with small stables incase any horses or donkeys travelled with them. It became their thing, and the ocelots even gained a small profit over it from time to time. Eventually, many people decided to just stay permanently. With their community growing, the ocelots needed to get into trade themselves and start making profits. With the rich resources around them, it wasn't hard for them to become a pretty big deal. Their community began to be noticed by larger towns, leading to more recognition and foot traffic. Over the years the ocelots little homestead grew to what it is today known as BeaconTown ^^
Lukas was the mayor overseeing everything, Aiden was the assistant mayor and specialized in overseeing the guard, trades, weaponry, and scouting. Maya and gill were assistants and handled paperwork/smaller tasks at hand, and they preferred it that way, and Petra became leader of the guard. Axel and Olivia are also in beacontown and are close friends with Petra, but mostly acquaintances with the rest of the ocelots.
With beacontown thriving over an estimate 5 years, they were pretty happy with what they had. The beginning of the fic starts with a terrifying mystery that leaves everyone questioning what is living with them in the woods. All their sheep in one night disappeared, with a half eaten carcass of one sheep the only evidence that the flock existed at all. Blood stains trailed to the nearby treeline, leaving everyone in a panicked state. With winter just around the corner, everyone is now scrambling to figure out the cause and how to fix it.
This Au will definitely have a lot of horror and suspense threaded into the storyline, so I hope not many people will be strayed away because of it 😞
