It was finally the last class of the day. I was so excited because I love this class, Mr. Loomis lets us do whatever and my boyfriend, Ethan, is in this class. Ethan was still making his way up to the classroom while I was already here.

As I was putting my stuff away I didn’t even notice Ethan. He sat down next to me and welcomed me with a warm smile. “Hey babe, how was your day?” He asked me while he was getting his laptop out. I smiled back at him before answering “It was good! And yours?”

“Kinda sucked, had a bunch of tests today” he responded. I frowned a bit since he didn’t even bother to look up at me. He was still rummaging in his backpack looking for something.

At least ten minutes into class, Ethan got up and went to the vending machine to get us snacks. I started scrolling on my phone and saw a post about the recent Ghostface killings. The shits terrifying, especially since it’s in Woodsboro.

Of course my parents choose to be out of town a lot when there’s murders going on, lucky me. I was looking into more details about the killings as Mr. Loomis came up to me. He took a look at my phone and his whole demeanor changed. It was almost as if he was…excited?

He pointed to my phone before he spoke up and said “ya know, I was around for the first killings” my eyes widened. I heard about the killings but I didn’t know Mr. Loomis was apart of the “Woodsboro Massacre” in the 90s. “Was the killer ever found?” I asked.

He stared at me for a bit before answering. He looked as if he was trying to figure out what to say. “It was actually two killers but, I guess they got away” he replied whilst shrugging his shoulders.

Before I could say anything else he went back to his desk. He looked like he was texting someone.

Weird.

I checked my phone to see if I got a text from Ethan, nothing from him but I realized my phone was on 10% so I decided to grab his backpack to look for his charger. I unzipped Ethan’s backpack and stuck my hand in the big pocket and all of a sudden I felt something…sticky? “What the hell?” I said to myself. I was so confused.

I took my hand out and saw red stuff on my fingers. My eyes widened and my heart was beating fast. I didn’t react as much because I didn’t wanna make a scene in front of everyone. But why the hell does Ethan have blood in his backpack?? He wouldn’t be a killer, right?

Ethan’s too dorky for that! He’s sweet and caring! The boy wouldn’t even hurt a fly. And besides, Ethan has a bright future ahead of him so I don’t think he would do anything to jeopardize that…right?

Okay, I could just be overreacting. Maybe its a prop! He is in drama class so that could explain. I want to look deeper in his backpack but I feel like thats an invasion of his privacy..but somethings telling me to keep looking.

I looked around the classroom first before digging in his backpack again. I felt something sharp and metallic like I didn’t pull it fully out the backpack but just enough to where only I could see.

It was a knife.

Why does he have a knife in his backpack? Is he gonna kill someone? Is he gonna kill me? But why would he kill me? I’m his girlfriend, of course he wouldn’t kill me. But then Randy’s words popped into my head.

"There's always some stupid, bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend."

In the corner of my eye I saw Ethan walking back into the classroom. I hurried and put everything back but I still had some of the blood on my hand. “Shit!” I said to myself. I hurried and wiped the blood on the inside go my shirt.

Before he walked over to me, he went to Mr. Loomis’s desk. Looks like they’re having a serious conversation, I wonder whats it about. Mr. Loomis looks angry and Ethan looks annoyed.

I saw Ethan walking back to our desk so started acting natural, acting like my boyfriend didn’t have a knife and blood in his backpack.

He threw the snacks on the table and sat back down in his seat sending death glares to Mr. Loomis.

“So..whats that about?” I asked him. He turned his body in my direction and now had a fake smile plastered on his face. “Just talking to him about a test” Ethan said. I knew he was lying, it was clear as day. I just nodded my head, I didn’t wanna make an argument about this.

I went back to scrolling on my phone, the classroom door opened and it was Sam Loomis. She’s Mr. Loomis daughter and also my best friend. She waved at me before she walked over to her dads desk to talk to him about something.

He doesn’t like the idea of you being alone while a killer is on the loose” Sam told me.

Ethan’s eyes widened at her statement. I noticed this but I didn’t say anything. “Aww that’s so sweet him! Tell him I said thank you” I warmly said. “You can tell him yourself” she giggled.

“And stop making googily eyes at my dad..you’re drooling” she whispered in my ear as she walked away smirking. I scoffed at her little comment. I didn’t know my little crush on him was that obvious.

“So you’re staying over there tonight?” Ethan asked. “Yeah, its scary being in that big house all by myself” I nervously answered.

He looked down at my phone and his eyes eventually trailed over to the charger that was plugged into my phone. “Is that my charger?” He asked lowly. Anytime Ethan speaks to me in that tone it terrifies me. He has a bad temper..

“Um- I uh got it from your backpack..” I answered hesitantly. His eyes turned black if thats even possible. Before I could even defend myself the bell rang, signaling its time to go home.

He gripped my hand tightly coming face to face with me. “Don’t even think about leaving this classroom” he sternly said. I felt shivers run down my back. Maybe he really is gonna kill me.

Ethan made me stay in my chair while everyone got up and went home. After everyone left it was just me, Ethan, and Mr. Loomis. I got out of Ethan’s grip and ran to Mr. Loomis. “Please! You have to help me! Ethan’s the killer, Mr. Loomis” I begged as grabbed his arm but all he did was turn around and smile.

“I know, sweetheart” he said as I froze.

The hell does he mean he knows.

I looked back at Ethan as he now had his blood covered knife in his hand. I didn’t hesitate, I ran towards the door and tried to open it but it was locked. Shit!

“Help!” I screamed and banged on the door. “Please you think they can hear you? Everyones going home and the hallways are loud. No ones getting you outa here, doll” Mr. Loomis announced.

Im so confused. My teacher and boyfriend are the killers? I don’t get it! This has to be some sick joke.

I tried to run to the window but Mr. Loomis grabbed me from behind and placed me on his desk. “Let me go!” I shouted as I tried to get out of his tight grip. I hit, punched, slapped, but he didn’t budge.

Ethan was walking up to us with the blood covered knife. Ethan gripped my chin tightly as I felt tears began to come down my cheeks. “Please don’t do this” I begged as he let out a dark chuckle.

Mr. Loomis let me out of his grip so Ethan could control me now. “Relax, Y/n, we’re not gonna kill you…right now. We gotta have our fun with you first” he laughed.

“Mr Loomis-“ I started off but he cut me off. “Ugh call me Billy, Mr. Loomis makes me feel old” he said while rolling his eyes. “-Billy why are you making me do this? I’m innocent!” I cried. “You’re boyfriend came up with the idea, not me. Besides I already did this in the 90’s “ he laughed.

“Whats the question?” I asked trying to change the subject back to Tara.

“Who was the original Ghostface” Ethan questioned as I rolled my eyes. “It was this psychotic man, he basically just told on himself a couple of minutes ago” I answered as Ethan smirked. “Billy Loomis is your final answer?” He asked as I nodded my head.

“Thats incorrect” Ethan stated. My heart was pounding like crazy. “What do you mean incorrect? Billy basically just snitched on himself!” I said back. “The killers were me AND Stu Macher” Billy replied as I turned my head towards him.

“You didn’t say anything about two killers! And how the hell am I supposed to know who Stu Macher is?” I shouted. I tried wiping my tears but it was no use. Nothing was gonna stop them from pouring down.

“Oh please he was one of the prime suspects. I just killed him off because he was too fucking stupid” Billy stated. He was all nonchalant about this- like this was all normal.

“And since you were incorrect..your friend dies” Ethan said as this dark smile was plastered all over his face. My blood went cold, my mouth became dry, my friend was gonna die- because of me.

“Please don’t do this” I sobbed. How the hell do I even get out of this situation? Tara’s dead and its all my fault.

Genuinely loves horror movies and finds Ghostface, Art the Clown, and Michael Myers attractive. Mostly though, she just loves being at the movies.

Cheers and laughs and generally reacts enthusiastically when the movie calls for it. She always cleans up after herself if she spills though.

Lae'zel

Rarely eats at the theater until she learns that they make money off of concessions, then follows Gale's lead because she finds the fact that they don't make money doing the thing they're designed for reprehensible.

Mostly just fascinated by the fact that movies exist and people put effort into creating them. Deeply interested in the filmmaking process and specifically looks for Blu-Rays with extensive behind the scenes features when she likes the movie. Treasures her Lord of the Rings Extended Editions for this reason.

Obsessively watches those "Expert Breaks Down Scenes From Movies and TV" videos because she wants to know where her favorite things succeed and fail so she can write letters to those responsible in the crew.

Shadowheart

Loves the Good & Plentys or other licorice candies. Doesn't like popcorn. Gets an obnoxiously large drink though and almost always beelines for the bathroom after the movie's over or sometimes during. Relies on Lae'zel to fill her in afterwards because Lae'zel won't speak during the movie itself. This has caused her to be confused about major plot points on multiple occasions.

Loves the horror movies that even make Karlach squirm. The really extreme horror ones that get like a one or two night release or get shown at the grindhouse that Orin frequents. Also has a soft spot for family dramas and romantic comedies but she'll never suggest them as something to go see.

Genuinely fails to see the point of theaters in the age of streaming [Editor's note: Yes, I do hate this about her.] Still goes because it makes Lae'zel happy.

Wyll

Buys a big slushie and puts it in Karlach’s cup holder. Gets a modest popcorn for himself.

Doesn't particularly have a lot of preference for what they watch. Usually just lets it all soak in. Has a penchant for swashbuckler epics though, and secretly keeps his eye out for rereleases of some of the classics. Sad there are hardly any made anymore.

Has the theater membership so everyone else can get cheaper tickets. Is happy to help his friends be more social and get out of the house.

He enjoys the opportunity to run another real experiment, he doesn't get many chances in the realm. He'll do any number of things during chases to see how you'll react and what you do to compensate for it, and will be quietly impressed when you successfully mindgame him.

And when you unsuccessfully mindgame him, instead of hauling you to a hook, he'll take a moment to have you cornered and more closely inspect you. Half-intimidation tactic, half-studying you. He must know your secrets.

In truth, Herman may never understand why you see the trials as more friendly competition rather than a fight for your life…But he does find you fun to study. He'll keep you around.

Danny Johnson / The Ghostface:

Danny is very much a can of worms. You never really know what'll happen when someone does something out of the ordinary around him. But as he's chasing you and realizes you're running him around for fun, so your teammates can complete gens, he honestly enjoys it. Something new and exciting. He may be unpredictible, but he enjoys a good bit of fun.

He's immediately playing along with you, happily chasing you around pallets and vaults, even hiding around corners or in bushes or underneath windows waiting to scare or grab you when you round/jump them. You're the most fun he's had since coming to the realm, most likely.

He won't hurt you when you accidentally smack right into him; he prefers giving you a chance to correct your mistake and keep the little game going. He's having fun and doesn't want to end it so rudely.

When you mindgame him successfully, though, you may be able to hear him giggling a little bit before running after you again. He may be having a little too much fun. Any other survivors who happen to witness this will be utterly confused.

He's always so happy to wish you goodbye and tell you he's looking forward to your next trial too. He counts the days until he happens upon you while stalking around again.

Julie Kostenko / The Legion:

Julie is insanely pissed at first. She enjoys a good chase, but not like this. She almost hates that you're having fun and are so carefree during trials - it's not supposed to be fun for anyone but her! She gets the worst tunnel vision whenever you're in a trial together, she sees red every time she gets you in a chase and has to get you on a hook.

She's like this for a while about it, trying her hardest to out-mindgame you and get you down and on a hook. She's quiet when she does; she's not really one for rubbing her victories into people's faces. But she's proud.

She gets over it, eventually. She starts seeing it more of the same way you do: a little friendly competition, at least between the two of you. She starts having more fun chasing you around, and stops caring whether she wins or loses -- she just enjoys having another person to run around having fun with.

When you successfully mindgame her, she laughs about it. It helps her feel like the superior one, whether you're doing it on purpose or not, and she loves that.

She does especially love your little goodbyes and gifts at the gates. She always accepts your items and takes them back with her, and may even use them in personal projects. She feels touched having a new person who likes her so much. It absolutely warms her cold, murderous heart.

Albert Wesker / The Mastermind:

You know Wesker, he loves his games, and he's delighted to have a survivor who sees the trials the same way he does; as a game. He may be one of the few, if not the only, killer who would get a kick out of a survivor like you. He genuinely has fun in trials with you.

He gets so caught up trying to catch you he often will completely lose trials to you, but he doesn't even get frustrated. He just knows he has to try harder to be able to catch you, because it'll be that much sweeter the next time he does get you.

He's always trying to out-mindgame you at pallets and vault locations, and almost every time he thinks he's finally gotten your patterns down, you surprise him. He finds you a very interesting and entertaining specimen.

When the two of you are closer, he'll compliment your technique when you impress him like that. He's rarely impressed and he thinks you should know when you do it.

…But when he manages to outsmart you, he gets quite smug about it. He may rub it in your face a bit as he carries you to a hook, but it's all in good fun, he's just like that.

He does enjoy your little goodbyes at the gates, and always tells you he's looking forward to your next trial, too. He may even give you a little wave with his ouroboros, if the other survivors left before you.

omg hi! i'm SO sorry for the late answer. i don't check my inbox very often. thank you so much for the ask! and yes, i have more thoughts (:

my first thought is an au where stu lives and is in jail during the events of scream 2 and randy goes to question to him to figure out who are the new ghostfaces.

i feel like this could be an interesting dialogue-heavy fic where stu keeps derailing the conversation by bringing up things that happened between him and randy, things randy is desperate to forget because he's struggling with coming to terms with his bisexuality and the fact that he's had a thing with stu, now known as one of the most infamous serial killers in america.

bonus angst points if randy still dies and stu completely loses touch with reality afterwards, using his phone time in jail to "talk" to him.

my second thought is an au where stu dies, but becomes a ghost and starts haunting randy, going as far as possessing him to commit more murders. but as time goes on, randy's body starts rotting, which means he has to find a way to get rid off stu before he dies.

i just love the idea of zombie! or ghost! stu and body horror and this is a perfect mix of those two things. i also love this scenario because i can't see stu being a genuinely healthy partner for randy, even outside of this au, so it could showcase how toxic their relationship would be and how randy could learn to accept his sexual orientation and stand up for himself and move on.

my third thought is more of a stu/randy/billy thing. it's basically a pre-canon au where randy gets romantically involved with stu and billy. they have secret meet ups, both at stu's house and outside of woodsboro. at some point randy starts sensing something's off about them. he’s convinced, knows, they have something in mind, but he's not sure what. and then the first movie's events happen.

i love the idea of randy being this sort of secret witness to billy and stu's relationship and how they came to plan their killing spree without actually seeing anything (does that make sense?). could it be because stu and billy are manipulating him or because he finds too much comfort in the attention they give him to want to see what's happening in front of him? seeing him try to deal with his guilt afterwards would be very interesting to me.

my last idea is just stu stabbing randy in the third act, leaving him in the garage with tatum’s corpse (because who doesn’t love some homoerotic stabbing?) so he doesn’t get back into the house with stu and doesn’t get shot by billy.

this one is interesting because i can see stu stab him on a non-vital part of his body, giving him a chance of survival, and making some joke that he’ll live since he’s a virgin. and hiding him in the garage could be an attempt to hide him from billy, to make sure he doesn’t find him and finish him off.

that’s pretty much all i have in mind for now. i hope you’ll enjoying reading this as much as i enjoyed writing that reply! if you have stu/randy thoughts too, feel free to send me an ask!

"if there's one more.." sam starts, the ghostfaces are revealing themselves, one known as ethan, there was only one left. "mindy?" sam guesses, but she was incorrect.

the ghostface snatches off their mask, revealing y/n, sam's girlfriend. "y/n..?" sam sounded so heartbroken, y/n winked. "never trust the love interest." is the only thing y/n said to sam before she looked at ethan and kissed him. he kissed back and they pulled away, "we did awesome, didn't we?" he asks, "of course we did."

tara looked at both of them, the two people she trusted other than sam and chad, the two people who almost killed her, with disgust. "why?" tara asks, y/n chuckles, "why? why? your freak sister killed his brother!" y/n points at ethan, "so we're going to kill her, bonus if we kill you too." she winks at tara.

"so let us give you the consequences." ethan finishes, smirking. they lay out the whole plan, ethan and y/n saying it felt good killing anika, chad, and everyone else, that they deserved it.

"no one's coming to save you. so, welcome to act three." y/n says, after that him and y/n scattered. tara and sam looked around, trying to find a trace of them, trying to see movement. sam grabs her father's mask and puts it on, along with the cloak.

tara follows sam around like a lost puppy, as y/n waits in the darkness and watches. everyone splits up, tara turning her back towards where y/n was. y/n smiles, walking up behind her while gripping her knife.

y/n was stealthy, her footsteps making no sound. she was like a ghost. y/n likes her victims looking at her before she steals their lives, so she grabs her shoulder, turning her around before stabbing her in her shoulder. tara screams in agony before they both fall backwards. y/n smiles, it being full of malice, y/n raises the knife but tara raises her hand up with defense, y/n brings the knife down making the blade go through tara's hand.

tara screams again, tears streaming down her face, mixed with pain and betrayal. "same scenario from last time huh?" y/n teases, referring to the other year when amber stabbed tara. "best friend stabbing you through your hand? do you get deja vu, tara?" y/n rips the blade out of her, receiving another scream from her.

blood rushes out of tara's hand and her shoulder, she whines in pain and tries to scoot away from y/n, but she grabs her and drags her back to were they were. y/n goes onto to the floor and straddles tara. "how do you wanna die tara?" y/n tilts her head, tara sobs more in response. "i don't recognize you anymore.." tara manages to whimper out, y/n raises the blade before whispering, "love you, tara." and bringing down the knife inside of her chest. tara screams again before taking her last breath after choking on her own blood.

y/n gets off of her and the adrenaline already kicks in. she hears sam screaming from somewhere else, she runs to where she heard it and sees sam fighting ethan. sam stab ethan in his arm and that's enough to anger y/n. y/n walks from behind them and stabs her in the back, literally and metaphorically. sam falls to the ground next to where ethan was sitting, y/n notices he doesn't have his knife, she hands him hers and says, "all yours, babe."

he gets up and grabs the knife with his good hand, he straddles her and kills sam the same exact way she killed richie. he stabbed her 22 times, slit her throat, and even shot her 3 times. they grabbed her dads mask from sams hand and puts it on her. they called the police and said sam and tara went crazy, not one person didn't believe them. happy ending for ghostface this time.

Okay, so I'm not a podcast person and generally struggle to follow along with people talking when I can't also watch them. I think this is mainly because my vision pulls more of my focus than my hearing does, so whatever I'm actually looking at will override what I'm trying to listen to, and inevitably I will lose the train of what they are saying. Same with books on tape, I just struggle to follow along without getting distracted. But anyways... I have managed to find three podcasts that I can actually, mostly, follow along with while I work and I'm thrilled because it helps me get more work done and makes the time go by faster. With three now identified I feel pretty safe in saying that there is a pretty specific formula that works for me.

The hosts need to be two people (so far all three have two guys hosting) that are good friends and operate on pretty much the same wavelength.

They need to be focused on a tv show that I enjoy, and do a deep dive/review/discussion of one episode per episode.

They must enjoy tv and movies and nerd out over the craft of filmmaking.

They both must have good senses of humor and not take themselves too seriously.

Bonus points for lusting after the characters as much as I do, regardless of their own sexual orientations.

So far I have found...

Ty & That Guy - Ty Frank and Wes Chatham from The Expanse, talking about The Expanse and all the other movies that they both love. They have the exact same taste in movies that I do, which is incredibly validating and satisfying. They also are both in the industry so give a lot of great behind the scenes and making-of info and bring on guests ranging from actors to writers to composers and directors, etc.

Supernatural: Then and Now - Rob Benedict and Richard Speight, Jr from Supernatural. Y'all probably know who they are and what this podcast is, but I like it because not only are they delightfully ridiculous people who are fun to listen to, but they also give a lot of good behind the scenes and making of info and trivia to make my cinemaphile heart dance with joy.

Ghostfacers: A Supernatural Rewatch Podcast - Richard Eden and Reid Vanier. These are two Canadian guys (that I don't actually know anything about) that are fans of the show and just spend an hour plus change talking about each episode. They are funny and have an appreciation for Jared and Jensen that we'll just call lustful, which is a hoot.

So, I don't know if you are looking for something fun to listen to and these sound intriguing, I recommend them highly. Or, if you are aware of any other podcasts that fit into the same sort of criteria, let me know what they are so I can check them out.

Trash Bat Char's 2023 Spooky Season Movie Marathon

As is tradition for many around this time of year, I try to cram in as many seasonally-appropriate movies as I can starting around September and going til Thanksgiving (Halloween is a 3 month holiday in my mind, leave me alone). I try to mostly watch new-to-me films, with the occasional beloved rewatch thrown in. Movies will be a mix of classic horror, anything involving monsters & creatures of the night (especially vampires because I am nothing if not predictable), and some family-friendly Halloween & autumn romps.

I'll include my personal rating & some brief thoughts, but I'm so bad at rating things so please don't come at me if I give something a whack score, lol. I also track everything on my Letterboxd. I'm always open to suggestions to throw on my future lists!

1. Crimson Peak (2015)

-first-time watch, viewed on Sept. 6th

-70/100; this film was a visual treat, from the set design to the costumes. I craved a little bit more out of the ghosts of the house, but I also get what they were going for.

2. The Vampire Lovers (1970)

-first-time watch, viewed on Sept. 18th

-60/100; this is the third Hammer vampire film I've seen, with Dracula & Dracula A.D. 1972 being a part of last year's marathon. I was definitely invested in getting to see a classic piece of lesbian vampire media, but the plot pacing & the ending left me a bit disappointed. However, Ingrid Pitt was absolutely captivating.

2. Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)

-first-time watch, viewed on Sept. 21st

-60/100; first off, loved the claymation. I've been aware of Wallace & Gromit's existence for a long while, but this was my first time actually watching them. There uh, sure were a lot of jokes about """melons"""! It was a pretty ok watch though, got a few chuckles out of me.

4. Blood & Donuts (1995)

-first-time watch, viewed on Sept. 24th

-60/100; the title and premise of this little vampire film intrigued me, but I'm not sure I would call it...good? I was entertained in some capacity. Maybe baffled by the acting & character choices of the cab driver, he was like a mix of Christopher Walken & Tommy Wiseau. A unique little vamp film though. Gains bonus points for usage of Concrete Blonde's "Bloodletting" in a graveyard scene.

5. The Thing (1982)

-first-time watch, viewed on Sept. 30th

-70/100; I know, I know, giving this acclaimed & beloved film only 3 1/2 stars is a crime. I certainly recognize why it's held in such high regard, but I also gotta rate things based on my own personal enjoyment, and I just wasn't super gripped or blown away. And maybe that's a me problem or can change in the future, but I did still like the film! The scene with the guy whose head disconnects from the body & becomes a spider and crawls away genuinely shocked me.

6. Scream (1996)

-first-time watch, viewed on Oct. 3rd

-90/100; This was a very fun watch, and I'm glad I waited until I've seen a lot more horror movies before watching it - a lot of it would have gone totally over my head if I had watched as a teen. I've gotten two Ghostface-related art commissions this month, so it felt only appropriate to watch it myself to "catch the vibe". I might try and watch the first sequel soon.

7. Monster High 2 (2023)

-first-time watch, viewed on Oct. 6th

-50/100; the first musical movie was a mix of being a mess & having fun, and this one was pretty similar. I still don't like the majority of the musical numbers, and I'm still not a fan of how generic the background students are. Live-action non-binary Frankie Stein is still an absolute delight though, and as "mid" as I've found these movies, I REALLY need them to make the third since the plot hook they left at the end of this one implies a Frankie-centric story next time.

8. Coraline (2009)

-re-watch, viewed on Oct. 9th

-90/100; damn it's been over a decade since I last watched this, but I was in love with it when it first came out. Laika stop-motion films are just so, so visually stunning to look at. The way they tackled the topic of emotional neglect & the escapism of wanting a different life than the one you have is just...oof!

9. It Follows (2014)

-re-watch, viewed on Oct. 10th

-80/100; I saw this one in the theaters when it came out, and I remember feeling so unsettled upon leaving the theater and riding with my friends down the dark, empty roads home. Watched it this time with a group of pals on Discord this time around, and I mostly knew what to expect, but the concept & execution still just leaves you feeling uneasy after!

Ghost is also a musical artist, being the lead singer in a band with Spooker, Colon, and Katrina (it used to be Ghost, Toast, and Katrina but a big fallout happened before any of them rose to fame that led to Toast leaving back to England and eventually becoming a model). I imagine Katrina as bassist, Spooker on drums, and Colon on guitar. Ghost used to be drummer, and Toast guitarist and lead vocalist, but Ghost took over vocals after his departure and Colon took over for Toast, with Spooker being a very last minute addition by chance when they heard how good he was and Katrina convinced Ghost having someone else on drums would leave him more time to focus on vocals and writing. Also, I feel like all of them would sing but Ghost is the one who sings most of the songs (also he can scream crazy good and I stand by that (also it’s hot af lmao)). Colon probably had mild experience in singing but has improved a lot since then, and Spooker had NO natural or learned singing skills going into the band and is still not quite up to par with his bandmates, but he’s improved /so/ much.

Toast would probably do modeling cuz, duh. But also he writes books and a lot of people won’t give them a chance because they think he’s just a pretty face but he’s actually a talented writer of supernatural mysteries. Also, more recently he got into acting and blew up on the big screen and prefers the acting gigs because he feels like he gets to showcase more of his skills and get more appreciation for them than he got in modeling.

Gavin probably is a stunt double for Toast. Besides that, I see him probably being Jimmy’s dealer (Jimmy does copious amounts of drugs he is never not on cocaine idk what to tell u /hj). He prefers to keep out of the actual spotlight of celebrity lifestyle, and instead reap his own benefits from it in the background.

Mary. Hmmm….. I feel like she needs something that’s not like, typical spotlight celebrity. I remember a certain someone (wink wink) talking about ballerina Mary… I think that’s actually perfect. She’s a skilled and renowned ballerina, but also, I think she figure skates. And does some modeling on the side—maybe how she met Toast? I’ll have to think more on it.
