Finally getting around to burning Lumberjack'd and it smells FUCKING AMAZING! Before burning, after it's sat for a while, it had a strong apple smell with just faint traces of clean laundry under that. But burning it flips all that. It's like sweet, clean, fuzzy flannel sheets! I don't know how a smell smells fuzzy but this does.

I tried burning Book Lover first, it's better burning but I'm still not sure about it. It would probably blend really well with something else. Ooh, it's cold af at the moment (weather app says it feels like 16ºF outside) so I guess now is the time, right?

Got some new candles today from Hopbrook Lane and so far I'm really impressed by these fragrances. I don't know about y'all, but I am always hunting for the perfect smelling candles and it's one of the things I am very particular and odd about my preferences.

Lumberjack'ed - Tall Trees, Axes & Flannel

Yup, top scent is evergreen trees, that's what I noticed first, but under that is the clean scent of soft laundry and just a hint of metallic sharpness.

Morally Gray - Amber Driftwood & Questionable Choices

Very clean earthen sort of smell, like all the good manly smells without being overpowering, like his soap and cologne are just starting to fade, allowing his own muskiness to start to come through. I dig it.

Book Lover - Paper, Leather & Dreams

So far this one is the most subtle, so I'm not 100% certain about it. But it reminds me a bit of rawhide so I don't hate it. Gotta burn this one, I think, to really see what it does.

MC Romance - Whiskey, Leather & Hard Riding

Yes. This candle does, in fact, smell like leather and whiskey and it is breaking my brain. I'm not sure if I want my house to actually smell like this, but I have been enjoying tf out of opening the tin and just inhaling.

And if you take the Morally Gray and MC Romance candles and smell them both at the same time??? I imagine that's what it would smell like to be whiskey drunk with a young Dean Winchester.

Its sometimes so funny to be like. Too deeplt into the supernatural. Like too deeply. Like everyone is like ‘isnt this the show who got shit after season four and went on for ten more and has that i love you meme’ and you’re forced to just sit there like. Haha yeah. Like how do i explain how not normal I am about it. That i specifi prefer the seasons starting from 8 esp after the trials cause i think its the culmination of everything(which i know is controversial but let me enjoy my swamp). Like people moved on so quickly from it meanwhile I was watching and rewatching it for years just for shits and giggles. How do you explain that this show most of the time is the corniest thing you can ever watch and has the characters at their fandom convention and larping and seeing fics about them and also enduring torture and torturing someone. And sometimes it turns around to say things like ‘freedom is the lenght of rope and god wants you to hang yourself with it’ or ‘maybe… maybe i could be saved’

Like it’s ridiculous and its a time capsule and its weird and the brothers are codepend like there is no tomorrow and there is loyalty and blood and faith and family. And while the world goes down and apocalypse happens and angels have civil war and people turn into demons its all because of family. Because someone was left by their father, because brothers turned on each other, because someone needs to protect their family any way they can. Every character is defined by their family and their relationship with it. And amidst it all two brothers who saved the world specifically because they choose each other time and time again. I am so normal about this dont look at me
