Well friends, as you can see over the years, the children are all grown and there really is no need for Darren & Indya Drake to hold on to the sprawling seaside mansion they've called home for a very long time. They've raised all their kids there and brought home their very first grandchildren there (and a new niece!). So its bittersweet as they begin to pack up all those memories and downsize for the next leg of the journey.

Some of you may remember every single one of those holiday cards lol its been a wild ride but as has always been the case, its been full of growth.

Happy Holidays to all my friends and I wish you all peace, joy, happiness, love and full bellies.

It’s too quiet…

The streets have been getting emptier and emptier as each year goes by. I feel as if I don’t recognize Halloween as the streets grow warmer and the people fewer, it genuinely makes me feel sad. To everyone who went trick and treating today I wanted to thank you for that.

Picked the new game I want to play. I’ve chosen ‘Horizon: Zero Dawn’. It’s a PS4 game but that doesn’t matter to me. I’ve never played any of these games.

I certainly looks like something I’d be interested in but we’ll see. Playing as a female (I believe the character identifies as female) is always an enticing aspect for me when playing games. Especially when they’re a warrior.

TAKARA NO VIDRO (2024, JAPAN)

Episode 2

Nakano Taishin (KONISHI EITO) is slowly cracking the hard edges of his senpai Shiga Takara (IWASE YOJI) and learning something new with every interaction.

Following someone just because they consoled you over the death of your beloved parrot Okume-kun. Creepy, perhaps. But Taishin is not threatening he's observing. Not pushing himself at Takara.

And Takara seems almost at ease with Taishin at times.

Note: This series is giving me pieces of Takara-Kun To Amagi-Kun. There Takara is in a popular clique yet very aloof. Pursued by girls at school all of whom he shoots down. But when Amagi (a cutie patootie brunette) confesses Takara softens especially with Amagi.

Is Taishin this Takara's Amagi?

Bonus:

Taishin sees Takara in a different light as his tsundere persona cracks with a different expression and some laughter.
